How did I miss this opening? Recommended by Green in Brooklyn across the street. Small store but it had everything we needed (my son has been watching a lot of Nick Digiovanni, lol). Owner did not try to upsell us, answered all our questions patiently, and we walked out of there with three beautiful knives that have held up really well, and a cool cutting board. Highly recommend for good value items that won’t break the bank but are good quality. If you do want to break the bank, check out the full knife collection. Photo has the new knife in the corner but sharing so you can see the how easily my 12yo cut the steak he made.

I stopped by after hearing great things about the knife sharpening services. I came in around 4:30 with 2 Japanese knives and was expecting a few days turnaround. Luis was so patient and kind and said he could do it same day! They were done by 5:15! While I browsed I was so blown away by the range of kitchen supplies they had and how knowledgeable the owners are. The sharpening was $2 per inch! My knives are like new! Go support this small family business!

Do NOT get your knife sharpened here. I brought a Japanese knife here about few months ago and it’s now dull, can’t even cut a tomato. The owner also insisted I buy a metal rod to sharpen it which is not hard enough for Japanese knives I found out. Brought it to a professional here who said it was sharpened improperly. The owner there is nice but doesn’t know what he’s doing. So incredibly disappointed that he’s sharpening people’s knives when he clearly has had no training. All those positive reviews you see are from people who just got their knife sharpened, but here’s an update a few months down the line.

I've always heard that between cheap, fast, and good you have to pick two of the three. Turns out, you could just go here and not have to choose. I dropped off 4 dull knives and within an hour they were razor sharp, for a very reasonable price. The store is great too! Well organized, with anything you could need at a great price.

I ORDERED A GINGERBREAD HOUSE KIT FROM INDULGE BACK IN SEPTEMBER. INDULGE CANCELLED THE ORDER WITHOUT ANY EXPLANATION. I WAS ABLE TO GET AN ANSWER VIA EMAIL. AT THAT TIME, THEY INFORMED ME THAT THE KIT THEY HAD WAS DAMAGED AND THEY WOULD SEND ME A KIT ONCE THEY RECEIVED A NEW SHIPMENT. I HAVE BEEN ATTEMPTING TO CONTACT THEM VIA EMAIL (WEBSITE HAS NO PHONE NUMBER LISTED) TO NO AVAIL. HERE IT IS DECEMBER AND I STILL HAVEN’T RECEIVED MY KIT. UNFORTUNATELY, I USED A GIFT CARD TO PLACE MY ORDER AND NEVER RECEIVED A REFUND, CREDIT, NOTHING. THIS WAS THE FIRST AND LAST TIME THAT I WILL EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.

Superb vibes, great customer service, and knowledgeable staff with a huge stock of awesome kitchenware. Knife sharpening service is top notch and I am planning to take his class and purchase whetstones later this month. Recommended for the professional chef and home cook alike. 11/10 I come to Indulge for most of my kitchenware purchases and yesterday I decided to purchase a knife. Luis (the owner) took his time speaking with me to find out what I wanted (he really loves the craft and it shows) and I ended up with a knife that was exactly what I was looking for. When I got home I noticed a crack in the handle so I called the store and he offered to contact the rep for a replacement. Heard back from him today and there will be a new knife at the store for me later this week! Thank you Luis!

I was searching for pickup and drop-off knife sharpening in Williamsburg & Greenpoint Brooklyn; Indulge Kitchen Supplies came highly recommended on Reddit, so I went with them. I had one chef’s knife, one utility knife and six steak knives sharpened & they all came back like brand-new knives! Suddenly I was cutting through my steak with just the tip of my knife instead of sawing at it. If you’re looking for pick-up & drop-off knife sharpening in Brooklyn, I can highly recommend them. They do have a shop where you can drop them off, too, but I wanted my knives picked up and dropped off all within 24 hours & they really did great work! Next time I won’t wait so long to sharpen my knives, because the convenience can’t be beat.

Great selection of kitchen supplies! This is my go to spot in the neighborhood for my kitchen needs and gifts. Staff is really friendly and helpful. They also offer knife sharpening services and have delicious tamales on Saturdays when the owner’s mom is in town

I don't think I am capable of writing a review that does justice to how good this place is. We'll laid out inside and very well organized. The owner and his wife are super friendly and helpful. Never try to upsell you into something you don't need. If they don't have it, they'll get it for you. Came to get my knives sharpened, and asked when I could pick them up, and he literally gave me a time later that day! Such a great addition having them in the neighborhood. Highly recommend coming here for any kitchen needs you might have!

I came here during the holiday season looking for someone to repair a Chinese Cleaver (similar to a Chefs Knife) that was damaged by my father when he was cutting a pork bone. For those who know, a Chinese cleaver is not a bone cleaver, it is used like a Chefs knife and cannot break through bone. The cleaver was heavily damaged and I was looking for a place to help me repair and sharpen the blade. Indulge Kitchen Supplies was one of the only places that responded and I am glad they did. The store itself is on a main street with a fair amount of street parking and the store is super cute. The store sells a variety of kitchen gear from different knives, cutlery, utensils, etc. Most of the curated items are modern and high quality such as Durelex glass and Global Knives. While their prices are a little higher than online prices, they have quality stuff and I recommend buying from them. Their knife sharpening and repair was a life saver for me. The Chinese Cleaver is a large knife and they were able to get it done for me in less than a day and it was fully repaired. Looking at the photos you can see that they took out all the dings on the knife and sharpened it back to the point where I could use it again. I highly recommend this service and would readily come back when I need any knife repair or sharpening.

I am so glad I found this gem of a place! Great wares, reasonable prices and the nicest owners. Indulge saved my Easter brunch from ruin and infamy.

Had such a lovely experience here this afternoon - they have everything you could possibly need for a kitchen or bar set up, supplies for bakers, and even things for commercial kitchens in the back. So excited to have them in the neighborhood.

It's open late and I saw them hand sharpening knives on a stone. I asked a question I kind of knew the answer to and the person in the shop answered honestly and didn't try to sell me something I really didn't need. I'd go out of my way to spend here and have no problem supporting them, even if a bit more expensive.

Super cute shop with really nice owners/staff. They have a little bit of everything and are helpful without being overbearing. Brought my dog in last time and they gave her a treat, too.
