"Drawing inspiration from the Moghul cuisine of northern India, dishes show judicious spicing, use quality ingredients, and have good depth of flavour. Outstanding kebabs and perfectly cooked naan are just some of the highlights. Spices are ground daily in-house, great use is made of the charcoal tandoor and vegetarians are well catered for. Indian artwork adds appeal to the lived-in feel of the 1960s house; the terrace overlooks a manicured lawn." - Michelin Inspector

Had an amazing Diwali party 2024 here - went after a long time and will be going more regularly. We were around 50 persons mix group of Indians, Thais and some foreigners and everyone really enjoyed the food and arrangements. Went again within a few days and again great food and cocktails.

Indus delivers a memorable dining experience, blending excellent service, a stunning ambiance, and a beautiful outdoor seating area. With multiple Michelin accolades, it sets high expectations. The butter chicken, pani puri, garlic naan, and other dishes were beautifully presented and flavorful, complemented by a delicious amuse-bouche. However, the curries, while tasty, lacked depth. The cocktails, including the Margarita and Mojito, were expertly crafted but very strong—ideal for those who enjoy bold drinks. Perfect for a romantic date or special occasion, but the high prices make it less suited for those seeking authentic Indian food with better value elsewhere.

Whike walking on the street, I happened to see this lovely restaurant and I had been craving Indian food so I went in for dinner. I was immediately welcomed at the door, asked if I had a reservation, (which I didn't) and was shown to a beautiful quiet spot in the back area of the restaurant facing a large outdoor garden area that looked like the perfect place to host a party. The service was impeccable, friendly, attentive but not intrusive, and I was even visited by the manager Mr. Manit Gulwan, who inquired if I was pleased with my meal. I ordered mutton samosas, a coconut curry shrimp dish, steamed rice, and an almond pistachio ice cream for dessert. My food was delicious. I would have given it 4.5 stars if that was an option. I withhold 5 stars for food that makes me moan with pleasure at every bite. I would say the ice cream was in that category. It was the most expensive meal I had while in Bangkok, but if you want a 5 star dining "experience " you pay for it. After my meal, I was warmly escorted to the door by Mr. Gulwan who made sure I had a safe ride home. I hope to visit again the next time I am in Bangkok.

Came here to keep our Michelin streak alive. And while we kept the streak alive I was not impressed with the food. We ordered butter chicken and tikka masala. Both were fine. We were really impressed with service at first as they brought our free starter. But as the meal ended they didn’t attend to us at all. We waited a while to get a check and even longer to get our cards back. It was weird.

The ambience is nice and quiet. All the staff who served were well-mannered. Food is clean. The chicken was tender and delicious except the tiny chicken bones in the chicken that I almost swallowed. I thought any food that comes in a creamy sauce only use chicken breast.

I went with very high expectations. I was a bit disappointed with the main dish. It was a signature dish but I missed this little mile, the Indian spices eventually. I didn’t understand it. The service was impeccable. The aperitif cocktail was fantastic.

We had amazing time with great food. Cheese Naan here is absolute best. I would recommend you order the dessert too. Superb.
