More than just the market, this is a place to connect to the community! All of the local vendors are incredibly welcoming and you can tell they take great pride in providing their products. My routine is to buy a coffee or tea and a breakfast pastry to enjoy while I peruse the many booths. IWFM offer a wonderful variety of vendors: produce, meats, bakery items, dairy products, coffees and teas, kombucha and so much more. You’ll even find non-consumables like pottery, flowers and plants, candles, soaps, pet products and more. Many vendors accept cards, and for those that don’t, Growing Places has tokens that you purchase and use just like cash. So convenient! There’s live music playing to brighten even the coldest winter days. You can even take a yoga class. It’s my favorite way to start the weekend!

You can do all your weekly shopping here through the winter months. Plenty of local produce, humane animal proteins, bakery items (including gluten free) and fun stuff like sauces, preserves, tea, coffee, etc. Some vendors only take cash, but you can purchase chips at the front door that spend like cash. We like to bring our kids, buy our breakfast, listen to some local musicians, and then buy our groceries. It’s entertainment and necessity!

Nice variety of stores. Every store has friendly workers. The service is so friendly & they help you order if you have questions. It's something for everyone here and nice seating.

Awesome this place has restaurants with the best food and pastries delicious and the atmosphere is awesome. My sister and I was out just looking for places to relax and chill this is the best.

Google
All the vendors there are AMAZING!! Circle City Sweets have an awesome Raspberry and Goat cheese croissant that is to die for!! Hi-a-tus bar is my new favorite hangout spot, and the convo is fun. If you're looking for a good biba tea, Boba & Everything is the place to go. Wonderfully done and priced. Another addiction I don't need.😂 Beast is a MUST!! Never have I had a burger that has literally made me addicted!! The candied jalapeño peppers, I could eat by the bucketful. Ill be so depressed when the winter market is over, and many vendors leave💔

Google
Fantastic indoor farmer's market. A little chilly, good for sweaters. Several produce stalls as well as a variety of cheese makers, bakers, honey producers and local entrepreneurs. Hot food stalls and live music make it a morning out my whole family looks forward to every week.

Yelp
It's been a minute since I've updated this review. For the past few years, IWFM has been located at The Amp alongside their wonderful built-in food vendors and shops. It's such a natural and great way to bring new faces into the space and celebrate local makers. The farmers market is a great family activity and often features live music, storytelling and other charming activities. We often end up grabbing brunch from Llama Delicatessen and Tinker Coffee. As for market vendors, you'll find everything from pasta and local cheese to winter produce, honey and dried flowers. It's a great assortment of food you can actually take home to make meals (and not just sauces and soaps ;). This is one of our favorite ways to spend Saturday mornings in the winter. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I love brightening up my winter Saturdays with a stop at the Indy Winter Farmers Market at The AMP! The energy in the air is filled with positivity (and live music) as people shop for fresh produce, meat, mocktails, plants, pottery, and more! Many of The AMP's resident food stalls open early for brunch and breakfast sandwiches during the market. My favorite market vendor is Muddy Fork Bakery which sells a variety of breads, croissants, and granola. If you order ahead through their online store, you can also purchase bags of flour, sourdough starter, and exclusive bakes like croissant loaves. The seasonal croissants are always a hit with features like persimmon pudding, pumpkin pie, banana pudding, and my new favorite: the quadruple chocolate raspberry! Can you tell I'm eagerly awaiting this Saturday's croissant loaf as I write this?

Yelp
I've always wanted to go to the Indy Winter Farmer's market but the former location was just more out of the way for me. The 2021-2022 location is The Amp - a new city market/like the Garage where there are multiple food stalls. The Amp - even tho it is not by anything - has the audacity to have pay parking lots but they are FREE during the farmers market! This market is huge with lots of vendors. Bring CASH. Most take credit but a few younger businesses only do cash or Venmo. There's a lot to offer - Filipino food, vegetables, fruits, spices, handmade crafts, baked goods, candles, sandwiches, etc. The food stalls are also open so you have a ton of awesome options for food while you are there!

Yelp
The AMP is already a fun place to be at with many options of food and drinks... but for a farmers market to happen here... it's amazing! More fun. I came here thinking I'd probably go home with some bread and eggs and stuff like that but today I found this lady cooking lumpia here! I love Filipino cuisine and lumpia is my absolute favorite which more people should know about. I enjoyed them very much and I thank the farmers market for this because Indy sadly has no Filipino restaurants ...So this was a happy surprise for me. I loved walking around the market and have a chat with the vendors here. So glad I came here before the season ends. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Not sure how I've missed a Winter market! Must be because I hate the cold but am happy I found out about this one. It's held at AMP which is a great location. Plenty of free parking. Many of the restaurants will be open in addition to all the market vendors. Check the markets website fora list of vendors each week. You'll have lots of choices. Start with Circle City Sweets for Croissants, get coffee at Tinkers, try the Irish Sea Moss drink at Brighton Farms, pick up some goat milk soaps, the apple cider at Redwines is yummy. Don't forget get seasonings, candles, popcorn, maple syrups, plants, CBD oils, raw honeys, lots of fresh veggies, pigs knuckles, pet foods, lots of bakery items and sometimes the Oscar Meyer wiener mobile. What else do you have to do when it's 18 degrees outside??

Yelp
Loved The Amp to begin with but the attached farmers market makes it even better! Such a great selection of produce, pastries, juices, meats and food. I recommend getting there early as possible or pre-ordering your items.

Yelp
I love the Indy Winter Farmers Market with my whole heart! There are soooooo many amazing vendors here. Last year, I got Circle Kombucha, Amelia's croissants, Nelson's Tea, fresh veggies and more. This year, it starts again on November 7th (2020) and runs every Saturday morning until the end of April. A few of this year's wonderful vendors will include: - Risin Creek Creamery - Bee Coffee - Frangipani - Nelson's Tea - 3 in 1 Restaurant - 317 Juicery - Becker Farms - Groomsville Popcorn - Native Bread - Old Major Market - Vietnamese Eggroll Bar - Jason Michael Thomas - Plate It Up Catering - Mrs Murray's Naturals - Mannnnnnny more! You can stop in here, grab some hot food, a snack or coffee to enjoy when you walk around, then enjoy shopping and talking to all of the sweet vendors. There's usually live music as well!

Yelp
An indoor farmers market with a lot of vendors dispersed throughout the Amp Indy. The samosas stall is a good option for trying ready made food on the spot. The spicy sauce they serve with the samosas was so good. The vendors ranged from veggies and fruits, to pantry staples and baked goods. I recommend going early for the best selection at the different vendors. Make sure to walk through every nook and cranny of the Amp to see all the friendly vendors. Parking is along the front of the Amp or in a nearby parking garage.
google avatar

Kara M.

Yelp
The AMP is a great place to hold the Indy Winter Farmers Market! Not only are all the vendors selling local products, but the restaurants are also local to Indianapolis. So, you're supporting so many hard working small businesses during the market. Petit Regal Bakery, JoJo's Dough, Vietnamese Eggroll Bar, Farming Engineers, and so many more vendors to are at the AMP every Saturday from 9-12. They have live music playing and they opened up the garages yesterday to let the near 70° sun and warmth flood in!

Yelp
This year the Indy Winter Farmers Market is at The AMP and I'm loving the easy access and change in location. The AMP has plenty of free parking with the use of some spare IUPUI lots and there's a pay to park lot if you don't want as far of a walk. We've been a few times and it's one of the busiest times at the AMP. Many of the shops run specials - like Haitus' mimosas, and others run Saturday morning breakfast menus. The stands are spread out across the building so to take in all the offerings you may want to do a lap or two. Not all the vendors are there every time but it seems there's always a good section of fresh vegetables, baked goods, sauces, dog treats, plants and more.

Bridgette H.

Yelp
Lots for space for venders. Liked the variety. Nice to have hot food options each person I spoke to was friendly, professional, and passionate about what they were doing I do wish this was advertised a bit more. My sister-in-law from North Carolina told me about this market or I would not have known about it so glad she did.

Yelp
It's so nice to not lose the fresh, local produce and locally made goods just because the weather isn't the nicest. I'm so grateful that this farmers market exists. Quite honestly, I like this one so much more than the summer OG farmers market. It's much more nice and tidy and cozy. The location is perfect with ample parking across the street, the map at the beginning helps you find businesses you're looking for and new ones if you forgot the name. The staff are very friendly as well. They have a nice variety of vendors: teas, kombuchas, veggies/fruits, arts/crafts, wines, home decor, and lots of other pre-made delicious goodies. My one concern: the restrooms could use some love.

Yelp
Great farmers market with a good mix of vegetables, meats, prepared foods and more! Parking is limited in the lot in front of Center Point, but have never had a problem finding a spot there or on the street to the east of Circle City Industrial Complex. Throughout the winter some vendors show up on and off, so just be aware and follow your vendors on social media to make sure what you want will be there. Pleasantly surprised that there have been some vegetable vendors almost every week I've been, however my winter tastes lean towards meat (old major market sausages!), cheese (tulip tree creamery) and popcorn (Groomsville - has pre-popped and unpopped kernels!). Grab A Bee coffee at their stand and browse through the market for a great saturday morning! During my browse, I have been able to discover new things. This year, I've enjoyed the egg rolls which can be purchased frozen to cook later or ready-to-eat as you browse the market, and the really amazing Jason Michael Thomas breakfast sandwich on his signature bread!

Yelp
The Indy Winter Farmers Market is a great place to still support local fresh farmers in the off season. A wide variety of growers means there will be something for everyone. Live entertainment. Donation yoga classes. Great food vendors. Most of all, these vendors are readily available to answer questions and help you ... unlike some summer markets. The location is an industrial warehouse space so bundle up. It is wide open but covered. However the Indiana low temps still leave it a bit chilly. Parking can be difficult because it is short of spaces. I suggest parking in the nearby neighborhood and walking a block or so if you are able. My favorite products are the watermelon radishes, fresh greens and the spice guys! Give the market a visit. A hidden gem!

Yelp
The Indy winter Farmer's Market is now in the AMP. I was able to find free street parking across the street about 30 minutes before closing. I saw some familiar vendors, and there is plenty of table seating. You can also check out other open food hall places. The farmers market vendors are scattered throughout the venue. It's a great place to get gifts and stocking stuffers!

Yelp
So, just in case you missed the big Yelp Bazaar, fear not! There is still the weekly (Saturday morning) Winter Farmers Market over at the CCIC. All the road repair is finished on Brookside and there is plenty of parking in the common lot if the small lot by the entrance is full. The Farmers Market is located on the south end of the CCIC and there was plenty of room to roam through the aisles as you check out the vendors. They even have a map inside the entrance to show you were the vendors are located. I found a number of produce vendors, but this was more than just fresh vegetables. There were a number of locally produced items from vendors who may not have a physical storefront, but are becoming well known through the area. One of my favorites was Tulip Tree Creamery which had lots of samples to taste and purchase. These cheeses are used by lots of other businesses and I felt I needed to pick up some to lift my home cooked meals. Circle City Kombucha was being manned by one of our own Yelpers, Brady R. I hadn't tried kombucha before, but after being told about it at a previous Yelp event by my friend Kristie K, I had to try it. There were a few flavors available and I found it effervescent and tangy. Ended up grabbing a growler of that too! There were lots of fresh bread and baked goods vendors like Amelia's, Muddy Fork Bakery, and others. I grabbed a pretzel croissant from MFB that I thought might pair well with some of the cheese I purchased. There were a few places to get hot food and some seats to take a break if you ran out of steam before you ran out of vendors. I was pleasantly surprised at how many options were there. I shall return! Review #1945

Yelp
Farmer's market in Winter? What?!?! Yes, leave it to Indy to have a farmer's market in the Winter season, every Sat 9:30-12:30pm. This changes the game. Good health is not seasonal but year round now!!Parking is scarce in the pk lot, but there is street parking as well. Upon entering there is a map of all the current businesses there that day. Makes it easier to see as many vendors. They accept SNAP food stamps at the rate of 2:1. They also have gift coins (gift certificate if you will). All produce and beverages are fresh ripe and look delicious!! Covid-19 precautions are in place with all vendors!! I bought way more honey than I planned, but also found the yummiest popcorn ever! Can't wait to return!

Yelp
I am so happy this market is around for the colder months! There are a wide range of vendors and things to purchase. There are also some vendors that serve hot foods, ready to eat, with a decent size seating area to relax in. The space isn't too big, so it isn't overwhelming, but still surprising how much variety there is. Very knowledgeable vendors who are clearly passionate about their products. Most also offer plenty of free samples so you really know what you will be getting. Parking lot is a decent size, but I got there fairly early so I do not know if it gets more hectic as the day goes on. Free parking. Great place to stop by to support local farmers and makers.

Yelp
Love that produce and locally sourced goods are still available in the winter! This market has a wide variety of vendors...meats, eggs, produce, honey, essential oils, coffee, mushrooms....the list can continue on and on! There is an abundance of parking a short walk across the street from this location, which takes some of the typical city parking stress away. My one reason for 4 stars is that it is crowded and loud in the market. While I can appreciate the community coming out to support local and the live music, it was a little bit overwhelming to walk through. The location is good, I just wish it was a tiny bit larger to accommodate the success!

Yelp
I went to the Winter Farmers Market for the first time ever this past weekend and it was AMAZING. I'll definitely be back! I started with a lap of the entire place, which is super spacious. There were so many amazing vendors offering things like fresh fruits and veggies, hot food, drinks, and so much more. Personally, I tried kombucha for the first time from Circle Bev! It was so delicious! I highly recommend stopping by their booth and trying all of their flavors. I also stopped by the Vietnamese Egg roll Booth. I got the traditional pork egg rolls and they were absolutely amazing. I don't know what the sauce was that accompanied the egg rolls, but I would dip anything in that sauce. I can't wait to go back and visit different vendors!

Yelp
Thrilled I did a search on winter farmers markets and found this one!! It's about a twenty minute drive for me in which I pass a multitude of grocery stores but it's worth it to support and shop local vendors. TIP - Don't worry if you forgot to bring cash, not all vendors accept cash. You can purchase tokens at the Information Desk using your debit/credit card to use in lieu of cash. All vendors accept them and your change from the transaction will be given in cash. The tokens are 1 to 1 and they don't expire so you can use them on your next visit. There is a $1 transaction fee If you arrive early there are several parking spaces near the market entrance. There's additional parking up the road which is nice compared to having to park on the street. This location is typical of all farmers markets. The space is large allowing for easy flow of traffic for patrons. I suggest making a lap before committing to a purchase at a vendor. There are vendors that provide the same products for the same price BUT there are slight differences. For example; I like cabbage that has darker leaves. 3 out of the 4 farms with cabbage had very pale leaves. A couple of vendors had croissants; some chocolate filled and some that were chocolate..yumm Lastly, come hungry! The market has a few vendors that have hot prepared food. I had a Pupusa for the first time and have my mind made up that I'm getting a breakfast sandwich from Old Major on the next visit. Both vendors had the place smelling delicious! Overall I don't think you'll be disappointed coming to this market. The vendors were all very nice, knowledgeable, and happy to chat with you about their products.

Yelp
The Indy Winter Farmers Market is quickly becoming my favorite winter market in the Indianapolis area- first it is easy to access via the Monon (I usually bike) but it was also easy to find parking nearby with my car. Second it was a great mix of different types of vendors- pottery, vegetables, honey, mushrooms, cheese, bakery items, etc. Third it is open a smidge later than the Broad Ripple one so when I am running late this was a lifesaver. I was also impressed with the number of gift options when it came time for holiday shopping. The live entertainment is a plus as is the ready to eat food options. So far I have bought cabbage, mushrooms, jelly, and cheese. What can I say- it is winter in Indy!
google avatar

Peter P.

Yelp
I think the new location is a hit. There's a huge parking lot across the street (parking was a bit of a hurdle at both the City Market location and Ohio St location) so carrying your purchase to your vehicle is not a problem. If you choose to ride your bike, it's right on the Pogue's Run Trail which connects to both the Monon trail and the Cultural Trail. The interior space is very large, too. There is plenty of space for vendors without feeling cavernous. The one thing I would add would be more tables/seating areas. A lot of people come to the IWFM for breakfast/brunch and there just aren't any places to sit save for one picnic table. A nice touch is the live music which gives everyone a little pep in their step.

Yelp
Great farmers market !!! We live about 15 min bike ride away and we love biking here . A lot of varieties and vendors ! Had some rum cake , brought some fresh veggies and local sausage . Can't get better than this on a Saturday morning . Wish they would stay open till afternoon but we ll take what we can get ! Come check this place out! You won't regret it !

Yelp
I am so thankful for having the Winter Market so close to my house. It is a gem on the Near East side in the winter. I can walk to the market in less than 10 minutes, but when it is very cold and we drive there is ample parking just a couple of minutes walk from the market. There is a small lot right in front, or drive down Brookside a bit more and there is tons of parking. You will pass Indy Artsy (another great place to visit) and then you will pass Center Point (yet another great place) and then you will reach the market. Once you are inside you will find vendors selling veggies like greens, lettuce, carrots, cabbages, Brussels sprouts, potatoes, garlic, and more in season vegetables, plus there are typically some apples. Additionally there are sweets galore-cookies, pastry, ice cream from Lick, there is coffee and tea, spices and pickles a wonderful herbalist and also other bath products like soaps. There is also some who sell meats and cheeses plus popcorn, mushrooms, honey, bread from Amelia's. In addition to all the food you can take home, you may as well plan to also eat there. Several vendors serve breakfast and/or lunch foods. My absolute favorite is the table called 3-in-1 with the pupusas. Absolutely don't miss their pupusas or give a tamale a try. While you eat you'll likely enjoy some live music, maybe with a glass of just poured Kombucha while your kid plays oversized jenga or connect 4 or do a craft at the Kindness booth. It's a real treat for the kids and they always have something to do at Maddie's table.

Warren T.

Yelp
Cool spot for finding all sorts of local businesses in one place. Try the breakfast sandwich at Beast AMP. I added bacon but honestly, no need.
google avatar

Yelp
This year, the Indy Winter Farmer's Market is located inside the AMP Food Hall. I have to say, that I think this was a GREAT choice! And I'm not just saying that because I can walk to the market now though that is a big perk! There's live music on the main stage in the AMP, the barber shop is open, and many of the AMP's vendors are open with breakfast and brunch options. The bar, Hiatus, even has a mimosa special on Saturdays now! And that is all on top of the many wonderful vendors that the market brings. I went this past weekend for the first winter market of the season and we got some amazing cheese from the Italian cheese vendors, some delicious, thick-cut bacon and chicken sausage from Old Major Market, and, of course, some dog treats. And, while we were there, we had to get our coffee fix from Tinker coffee. They are always good but they have some particularly fun fall lattes at the moment. The normally pay to park lots around the AMP are free on Saturday mornings!

Yelp
This farmers Market is a great option for weekend grocery shopping during the cold winter months. It is located downtown so it is centrally located. My favorite vendor booths are Hidden Pond Farms, Trailhead Naturals and Native bread. The market is indoors and there is plenty of space for
google avatar

Kylee J.

Yelp
What an amazing hidden gem of downtown! I was so lucky that my coworker told me about this farmers market or else I never would have known about it. If you enjoy fresh produce, popcorn, dog treats, live music, homemade goodies, and goat cheese, then you need to come here one Saturday morning. The market is well organized and they map out what vendors are set up where at the front entrance, which is so helpful! The area is a good size for people to walk around and leisurely browse. The parking situation is limited but there is street parking. There is a yoga class that starts at the same time so if you are there after it lets out the market can get a little busier but the space accommodates for it! Seriously this is such a nice winter market that it is worth getting up on Saturday morning to go! CHEERS!
google avatar

Mark W.

Yelp
I love this space and so few actually know where circle city industrial complex is. I am sure this will change, because now this space is anchored by a brewery. The market is well attended by farmers, artisans and foodies. We got a cherry pie that was the best ever. Cool vegetables from late harvest were readily available. Live music, hot soup, coffee ... this place rocks! We plan on coming here every week this winter. Local is way better than the grocery store.
google avatar

Victoria C.

Yelp
The best winter market in Indianapolis with a diverse group of vendors. Also, they offer triple SNAP making the market accessible to the entire community. It's a must visit!
google avatar

Ian B.

Yelp
What is not to like about our Indy Winter Farmers Market! Its the bees knees! The new location isn't the same as the wonderful and historic City Market, But! The Circle City Industrial Complex is great in many other ways. Lots of parking, much more space for the vendors and easy access in and out of the building. So to continue with that. There is parking right in front of the entrance that they share with Centerpoint Brewing who has Yoga on Saturday mornings, so get there early. There is also some street parking and another parking lot just east of the building about 20 yards north. That lot is huge if you don't want to search for a spot you will definitely find one there. The vendors here are amazing! i have been going to both the Winter and the Broad Ripple market now for a few years and im starting to develop a great relationship with the vedors. They are some amazing people! There are some food vendors and usually at least 1 coffee vendor so if your hungry the have you covered. it is ok for kids of all ages and there is always something for everyone. Done wait! SHOP LOCAL! SUPPORT LOCAL! and get some yummies!
google avatar

Kelsey R.

Yelp
This farmers market is great event, from the ambiance to the vendors. For the vibe, there was a live band playing peppy music creating a warm and inviting environment once you step in the main entrance. All of the vendors were very friendly and had samples of all their products. This is a great place to get artisanal breads & cheeses, homemade soaps & essential oils, a yummy lunch from vendors such as Taste, and much more. The parking was super easy and convenient! The event is very kid friendly, with small chairs and a caulk board set up to occupy the little ones. Another plus, the event has a program where customers can use their government food assistance benefits AND double them. So healthy food can be an option for people with any budget no matter how big or small!
google avatar

Taylor S.

Yelp
This place is great! So many options for people with all dietary lifestyles. I loved all the vegan options. Everyone was friendly and there were plenty of booths to go around not to mention food trucks outside and a brewery in the same building
google avatar

Ali W.

Yelp
I'm so happy to have found this to continue having fresh local produce and food though the winter! A lot of unique vendors who are all incredibly knowledgeable about their products and love to help you out. My personal favorites are Lick Ice cream, the guy that sells mushrooms, and another group that sells fresh pastas. I don't know where else I'd get those things so having it available every weekend is wonderful. Something I didn't realize is that there is more parking to the side of the building. Which is very helpful, since the parking lot in front of the building fills up quickly. So go on a Saturday morning, meet some of your neighbors, and wander around the CCIC and see what is all offered there. Hint - there's a lot and more coming!
google avatar

Carla K.

Yelp
More than just the market, this is a place to connect to the community! All of the local vendors are incredibly welcoming and you can tell they take great pride in providing their products. My routine is to buy a coffee or tea and a breakfast pastry to enjoy while I peruse the many booths. IWFM offer a wonderful variety of vendors: produce, meats, bakery items, dairy products, coffees and teas, kombucha and so much more. You'll even find non-consumables like pottery, flowers and plants, candles, soaps, pet products and more. Many vendors accept cards, and for those that don't, Growing Places has tokens that you purchase and use just like cash. So convenient! There's live music playing to brighten even the coldest winter days. You can even take a yoga class. It's my favorite way to start the weekend!

Yelp
Great product from people who care. Meat, cheese, eggs, produce, and desserts to soap and herbs! Next to Centerpoint brewing. Winters market ends in May, then go to Garfield!
google avatar

Emily L.

Yelp
Finally made it to the Indy winter farmers market in time! I've shown up numerous times too late! I LOVE IT!! there were so many wonderful local vendors. Plus TONS of gluten free options. Literally my only complaint is that I had to walk past Amelia's beautiful breads and treats and I couldn't eat them all.
google avatar

Yelp
This market is a great way to find locally-sourced goods during the colder months! I had been meaning to go for some time, but my work schedule conflicted with the hours of the market. Upon finally making it to the market, I was thoroughly impressed with the wide range of options available. They have everything from ready-to-eat foods to household goods. There's music and a seating area, the vendors are pleasantly kinds and incredibly informative, and the layout of the market is easy to follow and find the things you're looking for. The parking lot is decently sized and free, but it does fill up during the later hours of the day. I was there right around when they opened, and I had plenty of options to choose from, but when I was leaving the parking lot was fairly packed. Overall, I really loved being able to find the atmosphere of a summer farmer's market during the winter/spring months, and I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a place to get locally-sourced goods during this time of year.

Dan W.

Yelp
The new location is really nice and convenient for my neighborhood. I miss the city market location because of the ability to get food from one of the many shops in the market and access to an ATM machine. Most of the vendors came during the move and I go there weekly. Getting there early has its advantages since there is a better selection and I definitely hope to see the amount of produce expand in the future.
