The Infinite Column

I was very impressed to see it with my own eyes. Is so simple and so mesmerising. "Coloana fără de Sfârșit" of Brâncuși is best to see it in the sunset, in my opinion. Go around slowly and check how the colours are changing. The light will fall on the perfect sculpture and create different shapes from different angles. Is really impressive! Also take a seat on one of the many benches in the park and be quiet. Just admire it!

The 1937 monument's stacked modules create perfect harmonic resonance when wind blows from the northeast. Conservationists discovered the artist's fingerprints preserved in the steel's patina. The surrounding oak forest was planted to grow into specific shapes that complement the sculpture's rhythm.

It is an impetuous column situated in the middle of a park which is very well-taken care. However, I consider it should have not been separated from the other works of Brâncuși - the Gate of the Kiss, The Table of Silence, the Sculpural Assemble of Brâncuși in Târgu Jiu, ,,Calea Eroilor".

Nice place to visit with family. I recommend visiting this park.

The tallest creation of Brancusi is located in the center of a small park. Free entrance, free parking, free toilet. The monument is magnificent in its minimalism. Seating on a bench and watching the birds flying around the Endless Column at sunset is a relaxing way to end the day in Targu Jiu.

Very nice place and unique sculpture! In the same place there is a huge park and everything is free! You should definitely go see it!👍

You have to be a a massive fan like me. The town is uninteresting and the other pieces in the Central Park disappointing - but this sculpture is a landmark of 20th C art.

This is definitely one of the world wonders. Imagine that is something similar with the piramids, but contemporary.
