Had a longer lunch break today and stopped into Ingrassia & Sons, the new Italian deli in WeHo. The space itself is stunning and beautifully designed with a classy market feel and nostalgic touches from history.
With an open floor plan, you can see fully into the kitchen and shop around the deli market aisles. You head up to the register to order and are given a number they call out when it's ready. There is limited seating, but it's cozy and I chatted with a few people nearby.
My sandwich was absolute perfection. Quality, flavor, and portion were all spot on. I had the Sneaky Turkey sandwich on focaccia, and it was hands down the best focaccia I've ever had in my life - salty, olive oily, and baked just right. It was packed with turkey, pesto, arugula, sun-dried tomatoes, and stracciatella and I savored every bite and while I thought I'd save half for later, couldn't resist eating the whole thing!
Parking in WeHo is always a bit tricky with all the construction, but I lucked out with a free street spot right out front. There's also a paid lot conveniently located behind the store.
I'll definitely be back, my lunch outing felt like a true NYC vibe and I loved it.
