"Filipino favorites like crispy lumpia and pancit palabok are all on offer at this hidden gem in Las Colinas. Diners will also have a couple bucks extra to score a calamansi limeade, a perfectly refreshing summer drink." - Amy McCarthy

Wowwwww. 10/10 would come back again. Delicious Filipino food! We ordered take out on a Saturday night. Placed the order online and it was ready for pick up in 20 minutes. The food is so fresh! Everything came with pickled papaya and a lechon sauce. The pork skewers are deliciously marinated thick cut pork, and beautifully charred. $17.59 The pork and shrimp lumpia were crispy and flavorful. $8.99 The crispy pork belly and chicken joy hit the spot. $17.59 each It’s a bit expensive, but totally worth it. $68 with tons of leftovers.

First time eating at this restaraunt was WONDERFUL! The food was great😋(everrything tasted perfect with just the right amount of seasoning), the service was nice😁(waitress made sure to check on is several times while we were there), and the atmosphere was very chill🙂‍↔️(not too busy and not too empty)! The portions of the food was applause worthy too! I saw the heaping pile of my crab fried rice and the amount of meat on my grilled chicken and pork skewers and was like WHOAA!! 🤩 I was also satisfied with the pricing of the food. Not cheap but also NOT overly pricey👏🏾

Food was okay but not so good. They gave a vinegar along with the bbq’s but the container is so small and has a little amount on it. The accommodation of the staff and lady that served our food was not that good. Didn’t even bother to smile. It just feels so awkward. When we asked to take us a photo for the lady that served our food, she just said “ Ay teka may mantika kamay ko” in not so good tone then called for another staff to take photo of us. The Halo Halo that we ordered, if we will not follow up they will not serve it. My husband also ask for to go boxes but took a while to give it. Not good experience with this Filipino restaurant. Better to just cook at home.

Google
Inihaw Avenue in Irving seriously hit the spot! It felt like a little taste of home. The food was so flavorful and comforting—my absolute favorite was the grilled pork with garlic rice. It was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and paired so well with the rice. I also loved the sisig—crispy, savory, and just the right amount of spice. The calamansi juice was super refreshing, and the bangus was cooked just right—crispy outside, tender inside. Everything reminded me of meals back in the Philippines. The vibes in the place were chill and welcoming too, like you’re just having lunch at a friend’s house. If you’re craving legit Filipino food around the DFW area, this place is a must-visit!

Went here for a late lunch, this is a hidden gem! It's small, not a complaint, their tables are spacious so I am happy they didn't sacrifice that for more dining space. They have a small convenience area that has some snacks like chips, sweets, noodles, & drinks that you can shop at too. There's also a freezer by the register where you can buy somethings like siapao, lumpia, & a few other things. I didn't really shop, they probably have more but I will next time. We had fresh lumpia, milk fish, pork skewers, sisig, & beef soup. Fresh lumpia - probably the only thing I didn't take a picture of. Deliciously made with egg crepe, tofu, & veggies. Milk fish - I didn't eat any, but everyone else liked it. Complimenting the slaw/salsa on top. Huge serving! Pork skewers - definitely get these, not too sweet on the sauce & perfectly cooked. Sisig - my favorite, love that sizzle when it came out. Egg was cooked just right so I was able to break it & mix it in. Other places I have found the eggs to be overdone. Beef soup - excellent with cabbage, green beans, beef, potatoes, I can't remember what else... I liked that this was not salty. Also, you MUST have their calamansi juice. It's super refreshing! Clean restrooms, nice staff. We waited a little bit for the food but you can tell it's because they made everything fresh. Cute decor of pictures on the wall. During our time there, one couple was leaving, one person came in to shop, & I think I saw someone do a pickup order. I hope they get a constant flow of business, it's not like it's in a busy shopping center or area with lots of restaurants where you'd find it if you were just looking for a place to eat. You'd have to have the intention of going here to come across this place. Go support them & enjoy some wonderful food!

Google
Delicious and healthy food available here. I wouldn't mind eating from this place multiple times in a week. We ordered the pan seared tilapia and the grilled chicken. For appetizers we ordered the fried spring rolls. Everything was amazing and worth every penny. Highly recommend it 👍👍👍👍👍

Google
I was not impressed by this place at all. When entering, it said wait to be seated, but we had to hunt a person down to be seated. There was packaging everywhere, making it just feal cheap and unorganized. When ordering, the staff just didn't care about us and just felt like they had complete disregard for us and only wanted us to not be there. We traveled over 3 hours to bring a large group (14) here. Most others were okay with it, but no one was impressed. The food looked good and the fish was flakey, but it seemed like nothing had any flavor. Or, if it had flavor, the only flavor was a sweet/vinegar flavor and it was not just enjoyable to me. Maybe I am thinking about the whole idea incorrectly, since how this place operated was very much how it felt in most places in the Philippines when we were there... so, I guess it was very authentic, but not what I want.

Yelp
Came in a Saturday morning with a few friends so we could try some of the cuisine before a trip to the Philippines next year. It looks like a little store when you walk in but the seating area is around a corner. It's not a huge spot but a family of 4-5 could come and eat comfortably. Our waitress was amazing and made great recommendations in things to try at the restaurant as well as must try food when we visit. Overall I'd give the food I tried an 8/10. I had the bbq skewers and a scoop of garlic rice. Lots of pork on the menu but it was very flavorful and cooked very well. Everyone enjoyed their dishes.

Katarina S.

Yelp
Apart from buffet style places, this is the first Filipino restaurant I've been to that is actually speedy especially when I have limited time for lunch. The food was good too, I got the pork skewers combo meal with rice, a sago gulaman, and dessert I forget the name of. The simple meal was delicious, the pork bits werent too fatty or tough to chew, rice is cooked well. The sago gulaman was a bit different than what I was used to, it had a green bit of drink in there. Overall, quick service, good food, will come again so I can take pictures this time.

Yelp
Update: August 18, 2024 Went back here to try their entrees for lunch. We ordered Chicken Inasal, Sizzling bangus and cups of steam and garlic fried rice. The Chicken Inasal is hard and not fully marinated to the bone. The Sizzling bangus is delicious, marinated well. They converted part of this place as a supermart. They only serve bottled water, coconut, kalamansi juice and other drinks. Place is the same with same wall decor and helpful serving staff.

Yelp
NEVER Coming Back. This terrible story is not about the Food. The Service Was terrible. When we paid for our food. The price was OUTRAGEOUSLY EXPENSIVE. Never coming Back again, 11/29/2024 is our LAST visit before We're never seeing this place again. They charged almost 100 dollars Just for this food

Great prices, our bill came to $100 (tax included) for four of us, ($120 with tip), we ordered plenty & took some home. There is a charge per serving of rice & do keep in mind the things we had were served family style, just FYI. They had combo meals which might be something if you're looking for individual meals. I personally enjoy family style dinners. :) During our time there, one couple was leaving, one person came in to shop, & I think I saw someone do a pickup order. Yelp
Food was excellent, highly recommend if looking for authentic Filipino recipes! Best in DFW - service was excellent too.

Yelp
The service is phenomenal hence the reason for the 2 stars. I spent $28 for the Crispy Pork Belly, 1 serving of Garlic Rice and 3 Vegetable Rolls. 1. I have had Crispy Pork Belly at other Pinoy Resturants and this was horrible. The taste was good, but the Pork Belly was HARD and stale. It literally felt as if they'd fried it 2-3 days earlier and RE-FRIED it for my order. It was not FRESH at all. 2. Garlic Rice and the Veggie Rolls were really good. I just hate that I spent $14-$16 on Pork that was dry, stale and hard. I'll never eat here again.

Nguyễn Q.

Yelp
Everything was great! We highly recommend their garlic rice which I believe they cook garlic with rice in a rice cooker. Their skewers were also very good. The pork one was better than the chicken one. The little egg roll dish was addicting also, small and packed with flavor. The only thing I didn't enjoy that much was the thick soup that we ordered. It was a little too heavy for our stomach and the flavor was so so.

Yelp
We was on our way to Richardson to eat when husband mentioned how hungry he was and needed to eat right away. Got out good ol Yelp to see the closest bookmark and that was Inihaw! Inihaw is in a little strip center. It has a market inside too. I got the crispy pork sisig, daughter got the milkfish entree, son got palabok, and husband got pork belly adobo. I love me some sisig, so I had to get it. Some pork bits were hard to chew, but I liked my meal. The garlic fried rice was delicious. I loved the milkfish. Had a good flavor to it and I liked all the veggies that it came with. Son got the palabok. The Palabok was really interesting. It was rice noodles with shrimp and ground pork. It was covered in a thick orangeish yellow sauce. Had the texture of yolk and kinda tasted like it, but I'm not completely sure if it was. I liked it. Pork belly adobo was perfect! Everyone liked each other's dishes and talked about this place for days.

Amy Caroline Y.

Yelp
By far my favorite go to for Filipino food! The food are tasty and delicious. My all time favorite is the pork barbecue and pancit bihon. The mini grocery right there is a big plus for you to enjoy other Filipino delicacies.

Lily F.

Yelp
A really great spot for lunch. Despite a very slow start of sitting down and taking our order, the food came out surprisingly quick and seemed fresh. My co-worker ordered the pork skewers and I had the Lomi Supreme. My noodles were great and I loved the slices of pork belly on top. Their pork belly/lechon is that ultra crispy (CrIsPy!i!i) kind. The kind where it almost sticks to the roof of your mouth. And while my co-worker was not a fan, I'm definitely for it. The table next to us ordered the sisig and I wanted to reach over for a quick taste, but I refrained myself. I will definitely come back.

Steve D.

Yelp
This Food is Amazing, the environment is very chill and relaxing drove to try this place definitely recommend

Elizabeth Z.

Yelp
Excellent food, loved everything we ordered. Will be back again. There was plenty of parking. When you first walk in, you will need to wait to be seated. There's a small snack shop at the front where you can purchase a variety of food items such as cookies, chips, candy, juices. Service was slow but the food made up for it. My favorite dishes were the Lomi supreme noodle soup and the Bangus belly with garlic butter sauce. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because the menu prices did not reflect the actual price and rice did not come with the entrees unless you ordered the combo meals. Ambiance was good. Here's everything we ate: 1) Pork Sisig - Sizzling crispy pork belly 2) Bangus Fish Belly with garlic butter sauce 3) Inihaw na Pusit - Stuffed Grilled Jumbo Squid 4) Lomi Supreme - Noodle Soup Dish 5) Garlic Rice $3/Scoop 6) Dessert: Buko Pandan - Coconut with Pandan Jelly 7) Beverage: Sago at Gulaman 8) Beverage: Calamansi Juice (Filipino Lemonade) Total Bill: $95.62 including Tax

Yelp
Delicious food! The best and most authentic Filipino restaurant in the Dallas area. Everytime we drive up to Dallas (Houston residents here), we make sure to visit this place. They even have better quality Filipino food than the ones in the Houston area. Much Better than already-established Filipino restaurants like Gerry's and Max's. Owners and staff are very friendly as well. Their energy adds to the very "homey" vibe of the restaurant. Clean place too. Must try: sisig, halo-halo, kare-kare, pansit canton, calamansi juice, fried chicken (better than Max's)

Alex V.

Yelp
The prices here are higher than one would expect from a Filipino restaurant... however considering the economic status quo we're in... it's acceptable. This isn't my first venture at this establishment, their prices keep me away until the urge strikes for Filipino cuisine. In that event I'm confounded and find myself sitting in their parking lot trying to weigh my possibilities... pay high prices for the food I love or go else where and keep the cravings going. Today... that craving was for Sinigang... perfect cold weather relief. For $20 you get a decent sized portion of Sinigang with a side of white rice. I occasionally pause as I wrote this considering what else I could've bought for $20... like 5 tacos from my favorite taco truck... or like a huge sandwich at my favorite pastrami joint... but that's neither here nor there... All in all a great experience at a good restaurant with good food... just bring that wallet cause it can get pricey here fast.

Jas T.

Yelp
Whenever I crave for fresh lumpia and palabok this place never disappoints. It's freshly made and always delicious.

Nancy C.

Yelp
We went due to our close Filipino friends recommendation. Did not disappoint! You enter and get seated the food is well portioned and honestly everything is good. Including desserts. The skewers are a standout, the is cut is good, lumpia also good and the squid also. Of course if you have a close Filipino friend that gifts you with their food that will always be best but this is definitely a great alternative. Have been back a few times and does not disappoint! You can also order to go. A lot of seating, well lit and also you can buy goodies too.

Reynu S.

Yelp
Lovely eatery! Has a little grocery section. FYI - There's a discount for cash. I was on a fasting diet of sorts but my partner got lechón and loved it. If you're a fan of pork belly, especially the crispy skin, this is for you. The sauce served with it is also very tasty. Our drink was so refreshing and a good price. Even though I'm not a big white tapioca fan and my partner doesn't like herbal jelly we both loved this drink. The flavors were lovely and we had fun eating the ice.

Gladys K.

Yelp
Poor service, poor business practices. Virtually empty restaurant, and they still managed to offer poor service. Water left unfilled, and ignored since we weren't Filipino. The cherry that topped it all off, every price on the menu was wrong, and the owner gave us a long reason for why the prices weren't accurate. The credit card company only charges 3% as a service fee. We should not have been charged an additional $20 on the meal. Sleezy business practices. Don't come here. Food was subpar.

Michael V.

Yelp
Went to celebrate a friend's birthday and what a bomb! Service was horrible and slow! Took 20 minutes just to have them take our order. 30 plus to get water. We had to keep asking and asking. The food average but with the service the food quality down. The portions okay. The garlic rice the star of the show. The place like a grocery store meets high school cafeteria. So no ambiance. It was clean! That's about all I can say. Try at your own risk but I won't be back!

Vania B.

Yelp
Came back again for Filipino food and ordered family style to share. Bbq skewers are still my favorite because they're tasty and juicy! Halo halo was just ok; it felt more icy then creamy.

Audreanna C.

Yelp
This spot offers authentic Filipino food in the DFW area. The inside is large and has a great little grocery area to pick up some snacks on the way out. The food overall was not very flavorful, the pork was extremely crunchy (almost not edible) and the prices are higher compared to other Filipino restaurants. But if you are looking for a spot to grab some Filipino food, this place will do that!

InvisiblePerson99 ..

Yelp
I regret coming here the food was extremely extremely extremely saulty like it was unpleasant eating it. I rather come back to my regular Phillips restaurant that I usually go to.

Maria D.

Yelp
The food was not as good as we expected and the service was a little unfriendly. I was mostly disappointed with the sisig. The old lady was grumpy the whole time but the younger servers were cool. They had a little store inside and we were able to buy our Filipino snacks.

Gene S.

Yelp
Visited Dallas for the first time and wanted some Filipino foods in the Los Carina's area. Upon entry we were happy the place was spacious and clean. The servers were friendly and attentive. Food was good and freshly made upon order so you have to wait a bit. Very nice experience and recommended.

Rey B.

Yelp
Bibingka was the best thing I had there. Went for breakfast and had the sizzling sisig, just okay and the bangus. When the bangus got to the table i did a double take. I'd never seen bangus breaded before. Interesting, but wouldn't order again. I must be spoiled, but the selection of Filipino Food here in San Diego, is so much better and more like what I grew up eating in the PI.

Ella S.

Yelp
The lumpia's although they call them egg rolls were delicious. I would give you five stars if you call them what they are.

Jenny M.

Yelp
Service: As soon you enter the restaurant you will see that they have small Filipino store on the side where you can see a lot of Philippine Products. No one was on the lobby so we waited for a little bit before someone approached us. There was no customers yet when the time we went so it seems like they just opened. During the taking of orders and serving of food it felt like they are rushing us and no warm welcome for customers. It was kind of disappointment as we were with friends that first time to have Filipino dishes in a Restaurant setup. Place: The place looks clean and amplifying Filipino culture through the frames hanging on the wall. Food: It was fine. It's presented very well with the plating but the taste seems like lacking. The lumpia and sisig tho was good.

Renko R.

Yelp
I've always a big fan of filipino food and this place does wonders! Has all your filipino classics and all very tasty! Order some food to go and you'll still have a really well made meal the next day. Crispy Pata has always been my favorite since that one chunk of heavenly meat can take me through three meals

Aisha K.

Yelp
Only Filipino Restaurant in Irving. Very Good service. Good Food and satisfies your cravings.

Dinah S.

Yelp
I visit this place to order bibinka and fresh lumpia. This place is a joke! Save your money and time!!! Unlike California Filipino cuisine this place is like an ant compare to the other places. Over priced, environment is boring and empty, service was awful! The lady was chewing with her mouth open whole on her phone.

Bryant B.

Yelp
The food here is really good. Very tasty and not too salty. We tried the pancit, lomi, and Bibingka. The Sago gulaman was really good too! However the service itself was not as good, at least it seemed serving groups does not seem to be their fortay. One aspect is the server instead of asking individually what people wanted they decided to just bellow out loud to the whole group who wanted what. Honestly that was pretty annoying. Ambiance was pretty good, definitely knew and felt you were eating at a Filipino restaurant.

Agnes C.

Yelp
Moved to DFW from NJ and was excited to find another Filipino restaurant in North Dallas. Had high hopes, brought my new non-Filipino boyfriend with me to introduce him to Filipino cuisine. The restaurant looked good and clean with the wait staff wearing masks. Was glad to see all the Filipino items for sale at the entrance and were looking forward to purchasing a few items after lunch. The menu looked great even though the prices were way too high. But it was a sit down restaurant so I figured it was because of the area and since the food was made to order. I ordered a bit of everything so that the man can try all the flavors: pancit bijon, lumpia Shanghai, sinangag (garlic rice), pork belly, bbq stick, bangos (milk fish), calimansi juice and mango juice. The food was nicely plated but I quickly noticed that the various food items looked really light colored for some reason. Even the bangos (see pic below), nice presentation but not the color I have ever seen bangos served. I quickly realized why....NO FLAVOR NOR SEASONING!!!!! All of it was bland, even the garlic rice. How do you have garlic rice with no garlic?!? The worst was the pancit, it was so white colored and soggy! It literally dripped as you picked it up and had absolutely ZERO flavor! The instant pancit they sell at the front has more taste than these noodles and that's just sad. I cook better Filipino food at home so I was highly disappointed. The portions were small and tasteless so I felt as if I literally threw out $75 of my hard earned money into the trash. Yes, $75!!! I can't believe I drove out to Irving purposely to eat here. I don't understand why anyone who's Filipino would say the food here is perfect; those reviews must be from family. Highly disappointing and we will never return. I'll drive to Plano or even Lewisville instead as those had flavor and were much cheaper.

Jim W.

Yelp
Nice place if you're looking for authentic Filipino food. We had the lumpia, mixed bbq pork and chicken skewers, lemongrass chicken and garlic rice. All really well done. Highly recommend .

Nicole Q.

Yelp
Not too many Filipino options in Dallas, let alone Irving but this one is legit! I've eaten here multiple times and everything I've had is delicious. The shrimp fritters are crispy and flavorful. The grilled pork belly has a sweet and juicy marinade. The joy chicken is crispy and mild. I've also ordered party trays from here. I highly recommend the adobo! Incredible! Good stuff inihaw! I will be back.

Andrea B.

Yelp
I took my non-filipino boyfriend here for lunch and wanted to give him good filipino food that I've been craving. The food was okay and nothing really to write home about. I expected the lumpia to be bigger but I understood that it was an appetizer dish but they were barely as big as the size of a thumb. The pork belly was good with the sauce it came in but I wish it was crispier. I liked the calamansi juice here too. The service was fast and the waiters were attentive. I liked that the restaurant had a small section for filipino snacks and I was able to grab some of my childhood favorites from here.

Christine W.

Yelp
I love Filipino Food!! And I am a real snob when it comes to it. I have read plenty of reviews from this place and all are 50/50. Well, let me say before you try it, let me educate you on this food. There are so many dialects and provinces in the Philippines. These regions cook differently than some. So some people are used to a certain taste. from their own Family or dialect. Filipino food is not easy to cook. So the prices are going to be more than a chain restaurant.

Lourdes M.

Yelp
Their food did not disappoint. All is good. There are foods that for e stands out. Their lomi ( I'd been craving this for a while) is so tasty. Their halo-halo puts us back to the happy childhood memories. Their bibingka made us feel the true Philippine holiday spirit. I heard from our host that it is one of the few Philippine restaurants in the area. Worth stopping by before or after coming from DFW airport as it is not that far. The decor is eye catching. The service is great. Pricing is pretty standard.

Cyndi S.

Yelp
The owner is not friendly at all. Showing her long face. I don't care if the food is high. The important is friendliness and feel welcome to go and spend my money on their food I am ordering.

Rose Ann F.

Yelp
My very first time having Filipino food and it did not disappoint. It haloed that we were with a native of the Philippines. Everything was just so tasty and different from anything I have ever eaten.

Michele O.

Yelp
There is no place like home, there is no place like home! You say "Filipino Food", I jump. I definitely keep firm to my roots when it comes to eating authentic food that mom use to make me. I enjoyed the Kare Kare, although I felt it was a little short of more oxtail. You can never go wrong with the lumpia Shanghai, Shrimp fritters, the pancit, and the pork and chicken BBQ! Everything was so tasty, more rice, please?! I really look forward to coming back.

Jen M.

Yelp
We just moved from SoCal and have been searching for good Filipino food in the Dallas area ... unfortunately, we will keep searching. + food is okay + clean and decent dining area (you could bring bisitas) + ample parking and good area (unlike the other pinoy restos that we've tried which are in nasty/scary areas) + small sari-sari store corner (they have a good variety of goodies and snacks that area reasonably priced).

Frank A.

Yelp
Clean and enticing food presentation. Owner lady is very pleasant, although busy. We are Filipino, mostly, and we saw many dishes we've never tried. We did order the familiar babinka which was more cake-like than pudding like. We all loved it with its fresh grated coconut sprinkled on top. My daughter, the mostly vegan(pescatarian), to my surprise ordered the stuffed giant squid; and boy was it! It came nicely grilled, stuffed w tomatoes, white onions, etc. She loved it. My son is 6 and the chicken skewers were perfect for him. It was a plate that came with a nice shaped cup-mold of white rice and a side of shredded pickled carrots, & what looked like daikon. We also ordered a plate of grilled vinegar bangus fish. It had the same cup-shaped mold of white rice and same side of veggies. Finally we also had a family sized serving of garlic fried rice. The twist in this dish was the addition of shredded imitation crab meat(pollock fish). The kids also shared a fresh calamancin juice drink. They finished everything outside of a third of the babinka, some of the rice, and half the squid. Total cost 80$ including 15% gratuity.

Ryan N.

Yelp
I took my parents here over the weekend and we all enjoyed what this restaurant had to offer! We ordered the lumpiang sariwa (fresh vegetable spring roll), nilagang baka (beef soup), inihaw na bangus (grilled boneless milkfish), kare kare (oxtail and tripe), and bibingka for dessert. We also ordered three orders of steamed rice, and unfortunately, the rice is a la carte and does not come with any of the entrees. Everything was delicious except for the kare kare. There were only four pieces of meat in it and the majority of it contained fat. Initially I thought it was tripe, but when I bit down, I realized it was fat The dish did contain a few slivers of tripe, but that was about it. We probably won't order the kare kare again next time we come, but we definitely won't hesitate to re-order the other items! The lumpiang sariwa contained crunchy and fresh vegetables, the nilaga had a flavorful broth, the bangus was truly boneless and had a tasty interior and crunchy outside, and the bibingka was soft and chewy! Yum! I can't wait to go back and try the rest of their menu!

Lizcel S.

Yelp
I would have given a 4 star if the lady owner uts a smile on her face but everytime we come, she has a long straight face, no smile or friendly greetings whatsoever. Their sisig tastes good, their juices are watered down though, their sagot gulaman is very sweet. They often run out of lumpia sariwa. Theie kare kare taste very good. Their employees hardly smile either. Their food portions are good. FYI: IF U R PAYING WITH CARD, the lady owner charges you 3% coz they don't wanna shoulder the fee that the bank charges them for using a POS credit/debit machine. They pass that fee to their customers. IF U PAY CASH, your bill will be lower (with out the 3% card fee) They say it is legal but I don't think so.

Yelp
This place!!!! This place! I Haven't tried many things on the menu, but the items I did have were all perfect. The garlic rice was beyond good. I usually don't like ordering takeout but the way they package their food keeps everything super fresh and it wasn't soggy at all. It remained fresh and yummy. So glad Irving has a top Filipino restaurant - much needed! Lumpia - great chili sauce Garlic rice Bbq skewers - pork/chicken mix Pancit Bihon

Yelp
Authentic Filipino food, it's as close as it gets. I am 100% Filipino and I grew up in the Philippines. When I crave Filipino food and I don't want to cook it myself, I come here and my belly always leaves satisfied. Best thing on the menu IMO are their grilled pork and chicken skewers. Sinigang and kare-kare are good too and the way they cook it tastes and feels like homecooking. Pork sisig is ok but it tastes better in the Philippines. If you're craving sisig though, this is the best place to get it in the Dallas area. Can't go wrong with the crispy pata and the lechon kawali, they're good too. Didn't care for the crab fried rice. Fresh lumpia is a little different from what I had growing up at home, but the one that's really different from what I remember growing up was the fried shrimp ukoy. I will not order those 2 items on the menu again. Nonetheless, this is still my fave Filipino restaurant. Can't wait to go back to try the rest of the menu.

Yelp
I was craving some Filipino food and found this spot on Yelp. Everything was good. Everyone at the restaurant was very nice and accommodating. There's a mini store inside the restaurant.

Yelp
Drove quite a ways to try this place and honestly was a little disappointed. First off I know because of inflation prices of everything has gone up, but seriously that much? Met with a friend for lunch. Looking at the building from outside I thought the place was going to be huge. It's actually small. They had a section right upon entering like a mini mart. They have quit a few selections of snacks, noodles, and sauces. Lunchtime was not busy at all, however our server did mention it would take at least 20 min to make the food. I'm glad we were given the heads up with wait time. Since I've never been there I wanted to try a few dishes, so we picked a few and shared. For starters rice is NOT INCLUDED. It is $3 per scoop which honestly does not make sense to have to pay extra. It should be included with the dish, which is already expensive enough. FYI- if you pay with credit card the cost of food is more. I believe it's a little cheaper if you pay cash. For our dish we chose beef and tripe kare-kare, pork Tamarind soup, and sizzling bangus belly. Kare kare was bland..it has a very creamy texture with peanutbutter taste. Pork Tamarind soup was just sour from the Tamarind, and the bangus belly which is fish was bland but was probably the best dish out of the 3. Serving portion was a little small for the price. We also got the pork pancit to go, which needed some seasoning. The halo- halo is DELICIOUS. Probably won't go back because it's too far and too expensive.
