"In her small restaurant that sports an uncluttered interior (formerly the Cromagnon), young Moldavian-born chef Oxana Cretu gives free rein to her culinary imagination in a surprise menu. This perfectionist rolls out colourful dishes packed with aromas: crayfish, bouchot mussels and roses or imperial prawns, sweetcorn and lavender. Her dessert of meringue with strawberries from the Lot, Namelaka cream, lemon marmalade and jasmine sorbet is an unqualified hit." - Michelin Inspector

A friend booked this restaurant and my heart sank after a very long day when I found out that it was a tasting menu with many courses. However, that all changed as soon as the delicious signature cocktails arrived and we started on our culinary journey. The food was outstanding, the service immaculate and I left happier and more refreshed than when I arrived. We took the shorter menu, but can’t wait to go back for the longer one soon.

Simply amazing food. Every dish was a triumph. Pace was slow. 30 mins from sitting down to amuse bouch (which was generous). 4 hours in total. But the food is fabulous.

Cozy ambiance, nice dishes and services. But expect to have your dinner of 7 courses in 3.5hrs which we don't recommend this restaurant. We waited for 2hrs for the 1st plate and then 45 mins for each presented later in the menu which definitely disrupted our experience. The restaurant wasn't too occupied but they prefer to serve the plates at the same time, to optimize the cost I guess. We noticed that our main dishes were served at the same time with at least 2 table which came 30mins and 1h after us. At this point, we find it is not faire because we have to deposit and even be charged if we don't present. But if the restaurant takes advantage to optimize their cost, we have no compensation.

Our visit to Inima was unfortunately pretty disastrous. Yes, the food was great. But the service, attention to detail and most of all, kitchen organisation was awful and totally ruined what could have been a nice evening. I had been aware of the timing issues from other reviewers, but thought that we would just chose the 5 course menu and therefore not run into the same problem. On that particular evening, the only choice on offer was the 7 course menu. It took 1 and 1/2 hours for the first starter to arrive, after some lovely amuse bouche, but still….. We asked if there was a problem in the kitchen. No problem, we were told, now that everyone (!) had had the little kitchen offerings it would all go quicker. It didn’t. After nearly 3 hours, and 5 courses in, we asked for the bill. We got hastily served a first dessert that was unfortunately really terrible. We left before eating the second. All the time I had a good view of the kitchen, and never saw any of the 2 chefs in a particular hurry. They more or less try to serve the courses on the same time, regardless when people arrive, and the waiting staff pretend that this is all normal. They said they were sorry we didn’t enjoy our experience and knocked the aperitifs from the bill, but holding your guests hostage and not understanding why that might cause issues is a problem. We hope that they re-think their approach because the chef is very talented, but as it stands, the restaurant is not to be recommended.

Amazing experience dining here. We treated ourselves to an evening at Inima during our visit to Bordeaux, and it was, by far, the best meal we had in Bordeaux. Fresh and whimsical flavor profiles, beautiful presentations, and surprisingly reasonable prices compared to what you’d pay in the US for the same experience. Our wine pairing was also the best set of wines we tasted during our trip and really elevated the dishes themselves. The unexpected opportunity to meet Oxana was another highlight. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

An excellent address. The food was excellent and the service great. The quality exceeded the price. Definitely recommend.
