Ink House Inn

Beautiful property with beautiful trees and flowers surrounding the premises. The house itself is nice, but some of the rooms are a bit small. The third floor was nice, but can get very hot during summer even with a fan. Kitchen is pretty big and nice. The stairs can be very challenging for older people with disabilities as well as small children. Walking up those steep stairs can be quite dangerous. Also, it can be hard to go to sleep by the master bedroom facing the side street where cars just speed by. It can get quite loud from cars, trucks or even a train that pass by. It woke me up every night while there. The location is not quite idyllic for a good night sleep. The house is pretty close to the road. The backyard is my favorite! So peaceful especially on a beautiful, sunny days with a bit of wind.

If you are looking for a more private experience in a high end boutique hotel in Napa Valley we just found 2 great ones. ||The Ink House has just been remodeled and everything they completed was done to perfection. The rooms are very pretty and of course the kitchen and living room which you have mostly to yourselves are really nice. Brian helped with dinner reservations, winery recommendations and he is a chef too so he made us incredible breakfasts with the best of everything. We traveled with another couple and we had the entire place to ourselves and it was very nice. They even drove us both ways to our dinner reservation in their house Bentley. |The decor, food and of course the staff made for a really nice stay. Thank you Brian, Laurie and Ben!

My husband and I have visited a number of B&Bs over the years, but our experience at the Ink house was truly like no other! The Ink house is perfect combination of St. Helena elegance with an attention to personal detail that makes you feel at home as soon as you walk in.||Brian was an incredible host and it is apparent he has a passion for serving his guests. We arrived to a gorgeous charcuterie platter and flowers he had personally hand selected that morning. His sole focus was ensuring a memorable experience for his guests. No request, big or small, was too much to ask.||The property is immaculate. It is apparent that every detail – from the luxurious linens to the fully stocked kitchen - were meticulously and thoughtfully selected with the guest’s comfort in mind. The decor is stunning and incorporates features which tell the story of the property's history.||We enjoyed sitting in the beautiful living room in the front of the house, but hands down our favorite activity was enjoying a glass of wine while taking in the sunset from the Ink Well. We can't wait to book our next trip!

The Ink House was simply fabulous. We stayed in the Theron room. The bed was very comfortable and the room well appointed and the views of Napa valley beautiful, but the best part of the stay was our host Brian, who regaled us with delightful conversation, drove us to our wine tasting in the Bentley Silver Spur and prepared our delicious breakfast. A truly decadent and classy extravagance. Thank you Brian and company!

Absolutely stunning! Such a beautiful inn, expertly designed and decorated,and it feels like being in the pages of a design magazine. Brian is amazing and makes the entire experience so special. The unique touches make this place a Napa Valley gem. Be sure to enjoy some fabulous Lucia wine in the Ink Well overlooking beautiful Napa Valley. A true luxury inn and an unforgettable experience you won't regret!

I would highly, highly recommend the Ink House! Brian and his crew strive to make your trip memorable, without being overbearing. The car is a great perk, the breakfasts are delightful, the grounds are stunning, and the room at the top of the house is a great place to hang out. The house itself is beautiful, everyone who sees the kitchen wishes it was theirs, and the bedrooms are spacious. Stay here if you can!

This place is meticulously clean, very high end all around. Very comfortable beds. For me though, it is right on the highway. If road noise bothers you look elsewhere. I think most of the people I was with didn’t care but I found it very annoying.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Inkhouse with our best friends this weekend. The experience was amazing and something we will never forget! Brian Woolery and Benjamin are superior hosts! The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. So elegant and sophisticated, yet homey! Every detail was absolute perfection! Thank you so much, hope to return!!! Oh, and the wines are wonderful!!
