I found another hidden gem. I have driven by this restaurant multiple times and for some reason never stopped in. I think I was confused by the name. I now understand why it’s called “inked”. The taco shells are blue because they use blue corn. So Last week we decided to give it a whirl and it was a great choice! Let me tell you why. first it’s not just one restaurant! It’s two! A rad option for when you have small children and picky eaters. it’s connected to a chicken place . We tried both (yes you can order from both on the same tab:same time), but wanted to review them separately so I can give credit due where credit is deserved. The tacos are amazing! If you look at my posted pictures it has missing food…. It’s because I ate it. 😂 It was delicious. They have a salsa bar that was amazing. You can see we tried all of them. A wide varsity from sweet to super spicy. Staff was helpful when ordering and very polite. The restaurant itself was impeccably clean, and so were the restrooms. The atmosphere of the restaurant was really cool and relaxed. Love the painted walls and graffiti style art. I would give it two thumbs up.

First visit…thoroughly impressed! Didn’t know what to expect with it advertised as “Inked Tacos” and “The Original Hot Chicken”. The menu selection was clear and everyone found something to order. And then came the problem…everyone was eyeing everyone else’s! The presentation was terrific and the taste superb. Bold flavors and plenty to eat. Gracious serving sizes and had plenty to take home from every plate (that’s not common in our group). To top it off, Karen (the GM) visit each table asking how things were. This gave us to brag on the food, and her! Absolutely will be frequently visiting. Thank you!

I’ve been interested in trying this restaurant for a while now. I come to the area often for work and stay at the near by Marriott. First impression I was shocked how empty it was inside. Then again it was 7pm on a Tuesday. Inked Tacos and Original Hot Chicken share a space and menu board. There are some fusion options like the Hot Chicken Tacos. The wait was only 10-15 minutes for food. I got the Birria Queso Tacos and Hot Chicken Tacos. Birria Queso didn’t have consommé with them which would have made them great. As they were they were good. Meat was a tad dry but I had a to-go order and didn’t eat right away so no points off there. Hot Chicken Tacos were my favorite. They looked very appetizing as well. Healthy portion of cheese, more cheese than what I assume was a cilantro mix (I didn’t thoroughly read the menu). Overall the only thing I was looking for was a little more heat from the Nashville hot sauce or salty tang from the pickles. That’s just my preference though. Free sauce/salsa bar. Chipotle sauce is good and the mango pineapple salsa was delicious. $21 for 4 tacos and chips was not bad! I will definitely start coming here when I’m here for work at least one night out of the week. Freestyle coca-cola machines are available!!! Skip the fast food, especially skip Del Taco and Taco Bell. Definitely give this place a try. If you get two orders of tacos (4 total) get a side of queso. I would say that makes sense for how many chips you get.

Awesome new addition to The Original Hot Chicken! We tried the steak tacos and the picadillo (ground beef) — they were both great! I love spicy but I would caution that the habanero salsa is genuinely very hot which was awesome. The only thing I was underwhelmed with was the queso, it was just okay and I prolly wouldn’t get it again.

Great tacos. I especially liked the Birria Queso shredded beff tacos with fried cheese. But nothing compares to the Fried Twinkie. It's not a regular fry that you might find on any carnival Twinkie, it's the kind of fry coating that is on good Mexican fried ice cream. Sadly most of the fried ice cream I have tried recently is pretty bland. But this fried Twinkie is spectacular (ok the Twinkie itself isn't that great). And for some crazy reason inked tacos doesn't have fried ice cream on the menu. This is a crime against humanity (almost worth taking a star off). But I think I'm just going to take my own ice cream in and order the fried Twinkie and crumble it on top. It's that good!

We ordered Nashville chicken tacos, the chicken sandwich (korean lvl), chicken tenders(hot lvl) came with coleslaw, and the mushroom pizza with added pepperoni and Italian sausage. The tacos were flavorful. I love the way they bread their chicken, it's crunchy and juicy. My husband is korean and didn't think the korean spice level is accurate but he still liked it a lot. The mushroom pizza was AMAZING. I don't know what sauce they used but the mushrooms, heat level, meat and everything about it down to the crust was very good. I talked to a worker there and he explained they will be making changes and adding things in the near future. I look forward to seeing it because we will definitely be coming back. Thank you for the kind service and good food. ❤️

The cashier/waiter was very friendly and provided excellent service, however these birria tacos need some work. Flavor was bland. The consume was more of a broth also low on flavor. The only taste was salt. Chips were unnecessary. Considering Woodstock has several great taco places, this one is off my list. Also this location shares a building with "The Original Hot Chicken", which has excellent fried chicken. Stick to that menu and skip the tacos.

the service was great, the lady at the counter was extremely helpful in explaining how the four kitchen restaurant worked. the food was VERY basic. don’t think i will be back, but it’s great if you like basic food
