Ordered their taco bar for a party (19 people). They delivered on time and they were very friendly and professional. All the ingredients looked fresh and good sized portions. The tortillas were still warm. The way they bring it in their own styled box made for a very easy setup. We were able to put the second box in the stove to keep warm until the first box was gone. The chicken was tender and the ground beef was good and spicy. Plenty of toppings: refried black beans, guacamole, onion/cilantro, cheese, and sour cream. Also included plenty of chips and salsa (red and mango). The 2 surprise vegetarians in the group were also satisfied. It was also nice they included plates, utensils, and serving spoons. Would definitely go to the location or order for a party again.

I found another hidden gem. I have driven by this restaurant multiple times and for some reason never stopped in. I think I was confused by the name. I now understand why it’s called “inked”. The taco shells are blue because they use blue corn. So Last week we decided to give it a whirl and it was a great choice! Let me tell you why. first it’s not just one restaurant! It’s two! A rad option for when you have small children and picky eaters. it’s connected to a chicken place . We tried both (yes you can order from both on the same tab:same time), but wanted to review them separately so I can give credit due where credit is deserved. The tacos are amazing! If you look at my posted pictures it has missing food…. It’s because I ate it. 😂 It was delicious. They have a salsa bar that was amazing. You can see we tried all of them. A wide varsity from sweet to super spicy. Staff was helpful when ordering and very polite. The restaurant itself was impeccably clean, and so were the restrooms. The atmosphere of the restaurant was really cool and relaxed. Love the painted walls and graffiti style art. I would give it two thumbs up.

Google
First visit…thoroughly impressed! Didn’t know what to expect with it advertised as “Inked Tacos” and “The Original Hot Chicken”. The menu selection was clear and everyone found something to order. And then came the problem…everyone was eyeing everyone else’s! The presentation was terrific and the taste superb. Bold flavors and plenty to eat. Gracious serving sizes and had plenty to take home from every plate (that’s not common in our group). To top it off, Karen (the GM) visit each table asking how things were. This gave us to brag on the food, and her! Absolutely will be frequently visiting. Thank you!

I’ve been interested in trying this restaurant for a while now. I come to the area often for work and stay at the near by Marriott. First impression I was shocked how empty it was inside. Then again it was 7pm on a Tuesday. Inked Tacos and Original Hot Chicken share a space and menu board. There are some fusion options like the Hot Chicken Tacos. The wait was only 10-15 minutes for food. I got the Birria Queso Tacos and Hot Chicken Tacos. Birria Queso didn’t have consommé with them which would have made them great. As they were they were good. Meat was a tad dry but I had a to-go order and didn’t eat right away so no points off there. Hot Chicken Tacos were my favorite. They looked very appetizing as well. Healthy portion of cheese, more cheese than what I assume was a cilantro mix (I didn’t thoroughly read the menu). Overall the only thing I was looking for was a little more heat from the Nashville hot sauce or salty tang from the pickles. That’s just my preference though. Free sauce/salsa bar. Chipotle sauce is good and the mango pineapple salsa was delicious. $21 for 4 tacos and chips was not bad! I will definitely start coming here when I’m here for work at least one night out of the week. Freestyle coca-cola machines are available!!! Skip the fast food, especially skip Del Taco and Taco Bell. Definitely give this place a try. If you get two orders of tacos (4 total) get a side of queso. I would say that makes sense for how many chips you get.

Google
Awesome new addition to The Original Hot Chicken! We tried the steak tacos and the picadillo (ground beef) — they were both great! I love spicy but I would caution that the habanero salsa is genuinely very hot which was awesome. The only thing I was underwhelmed with was the queso, it was just okay and I prolly wouldn’t get it again.

Google
Great tacos. I especially liked the Birria Queso shredded beff tacos with fried cheese. But nothing compares to the Fried Twinkie. It's not a regular fry that you might find on any carnival Twinkie, it's the kind of fry coating that is on good Mexican fried ice cream. Sadly most of the fried ice cream I have tried recently is pretty bland. But this fried Twinkie is spectacular (ok the Twinkie itself isn't that great). And for some crazy reason inked tacos doesn't have fried ice cream on the menu. This is a crime against humanity (almost worth taking a star off). But I think I'm just going to take my own ice cream in and order the fried Twinkie and crumble it on top. It's that good!

We ordered Nashville chicken tacos, the chicken sandwich (korean lvl), chicken tenders(hot lvl) came with coleslaw, and the mushroom pizza with added pepperoni and Italian sausage. The tacos were flavorful. I love the way they bread their chicken, it's crunchy and juicy. My husband is korean and didn't think the korean spice level is accurate but he still liked it a lot. The mushroom pizza was AMAZING. I don't know what sauce they used but the mushrooms, heat level, meat and everything about it down to the crust was very good. I talked to a worker there and he explained they will be making changes and adding things in the near future. I look forward to seeing it because we will definitely be coming back. Thank you for the kind service and good food. ❤️

Google
The cashier/waiter was very friendly and provided excellent service, however these birria tacos need some work. Flavor was bland. The consume was more of a broth also low on flavor. The only taste was salt. Chips were unnecessary. Considering Woodstock has several great taco places, this one is off my list. Also this location shares a building with "The Original Hot Chicken", which has excellent fried chicken. Stick to that menu and skip the tacos.

Yelp
It seemed like there was only 2 employees working - when I first walked up I wasn't sure what was going on as I didn't see any employees. Waited about 5 minutes before I saw a young lady who was very nice and my guess is that she was working the drive thru by the fact she had a headset on and was wearing multiple hats. Ordered and she brought the food out to my table. My first thought was that the tacos looked a bit greasy (not flavorful tasty spiced grease, but too much grease in the pan vegetable oil). They were the definition of mediocre. As the place was mostly empty I feel like service is mostly pretty fast and the staff member I interacted with was great (she brought me types of salsa for the chips), probably will go to a Mexican only eatery the next time I crave tacos, but if you're looking for a place to sit down and knock out some work on your laptop it's a good pick for that instance.

Yelp
In store menu differs from online menu. Food was meh. Feels like a warehouse inside. Rude manager. Faux Noise on TV. Won't return.

Yelp
Super strange experience with people trying to make foods of other countries without the pride and service Mexico and the people offer. Be ready to be assaulted by Fox News on loud and a staff that doesn't like customer service. Worst Mex restaurant ripoff ever maybe try burgers with yer strange customer service ways and turn down the news please as kids are with us

Yelp
I ordered chicken from the chicken place the first time we came here and it was decent. Decided to give the tacos a try and wished I would have got chicken. I ordered Birria Tacos and it was supposed to come with 2 tacos for $8.99. I received 2 of these "tacos" but they are tiny tortillas and there is barely any meat on it. About 4 little pieces of onion and a tiny bit of cheese. I'm not sure what tacos I actually received but I'm sure the person who ordered this would have been disappointed as well. I love salsa but all of theirs leaves a lot to be desired. Mild - a little flavor but has something I can't place, but I don't like it. Medium - this is a tomatillo salsa and is pretty good. I would have this again. Hot - this one has zero flavor and then you get the heat of the habanero. Heat is nice but could use more flavor. Mango. Not much to it. Tastes like diced up mango. The service was good. Everyone was very friendly and they took my order within 30 seconds of walking in the door. Overall, I was really hoping for more after seeing the menu.

Yelp
I got sick off my first time at this place. Maybe I'm sensitive to the food but man I'm still on the toilet Good food I think I'm just sensitive. Maybe there's grease I'm sensitive too. It's not the workers fault. I feel like it's the safety rules. Or I'm sensitive to something I only took like 2-4 bites and now I'm on the toilet. I didn't eat anything this morning besides a protein crunch bar and water

Yelp
The food was excellent. Service was friendly. The Birria tacos were off the charts. The hot tenders had the best sauce on them. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
Came in on Mother's Day. There was a party of about 5 leaving and NO ONE else. A waiter saw us walk in, nodded, said "How ya doin?" Walked to the back and never returned. We stood at the counter for 10 minutes. No one ever came out.

Tom D.

Yelp
My first time in this place, absolutely wonderful...welcoming and nice ambiance. The chicken tenders were very good, in a basket with fries. The food came out hot, right out of the fryer. Liked the use of con flakes in the coating of the tender. Staff was superb, warm and friendly throughout the visit. GM Karen was very nice and seemed genuinely concerned about us having a good experience. I will be back and try other menu options. This is one place in town that deserves a chance.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place. We used our BOGO to get the tacos and they were ok for that price but I would never pay $4.50 for them which is the regular price. The service was great. Hard workers. Looked clean. Seemed like a fun place to go hang out when you don't want to cook but at those prices I'd rather just stay at home.

Yelp
I love this place! The food is always fresh! While it doesn't seem like "much" we always leave with full bellies. The location is always clean and it have cool art. The workers have always been friendly and patient as we literally have tried most of the menu! We will be back!!

Maya B.

Yelp
This food was absolutely amazing I ordered 2 Birria queso tacos along with 2 grilled chicken tacos, everything was great, food came out less then 10 minutes and they got everything right! The cashier greeted me warmly when I walked in, they had nice art along the walls which really gave a pop to the place it felt really nice being here! I would definitely recommend coming here!

Yelp
This was my first visit, I had the shredded beef tacos in the soft corn tortillas with queso and chips on the side. I did not know the tacos came with chips but don't skip the queso because you are going to want to dip your tacos in it. They were completely changed and I'm not sure why the restaurant has not figured the combo out because it's a game changer and wakes them up. I will definitely be back.. they are a bit pricey, but if I do not get the un necessary chips next time it won't be as bad.

Crystal M.

Yelp
Very disappointed. Not impressed with this new venue. The blue ground meat tacos did not look anything like the picture on the menu. Tacos were as flat as a pancakes. "Hey - Where's the beef? " For the money I got no food. Even smaller than a kiddies menu portion. Will go elsewhere for a real taco.

Karen T.

Yelp
We thought the food was REALLY good. We had the blue beef tacos, the pork carnitas tacos, and the grilled chicken tacos, and they were all fabulous. Very fresh tasting guacamole and mango salsa. This was our first visit but we will definitely come again.

Jacob M.

Yelp
Tacos were tasty and came out super fast! Love the salsa options and the fact that you can get more than one type of food for parties that can't decide on one specific type of food. Great concept and tasty. Will definitely be back.

Teresa C.

Yelp
Great food and service. Banana pudding milkshake is a must try! Will definitely be back!

Erin R.

Yelp
Some friends and I made a whole outing to give this place a try and honestly it sucked. I have no idea why black bean paste needs to be on a taco, and the meat was just AWFUL in the taco. The salsa bar was just confusing and also really bad. The mango salsa was crunchy and literally just diced up non-ripe mangos. You pay extra for the salsa bar, but literally anyone can just go get it. The menu was so confusing that both myself and the employee were lost. I feel it is my responsibility as a member of the community to ensure other people don't have this experience. I never write reviews but this was really bad and expensive for what it was.

Otto B.

Yelp
Just horrible all around. Staff is preoccupied with their phones, tables are sticky, feels like everyone hates working there. Finally got out food and it was wrong..also forgot to give us chips and when we asked for the second time we were told yall have to wait. On top of that the food, tacos were meh. Del taco would have been way better. 10 bucks for 2 crappy tacos and unwelcoming low energy clock watchers..pass on this place. They will be closed by year end.

Colton C.

Yelp
The food was great and and the blue tacos were a cool idea. It could be a little cheaper to grow their business. But the service and people were nice and offered to get you anything even know it is a fast food place. The decorations and theming are great and the blue tacos/pineapple salsa make a good mix up on Mexican. So overall I think Inked Tacos is great but needs to lower its price to grow up its business.

Colon B.

Yelp
This place was fun and exotic. They have blue tacos and good birria tacos. I would recommend trying this place for theming and the food. The walls are designed in a cool way. And they have a big menu. They also are partnered with a chicken place. It can be a little expensive but, the business is small and needs this money to grow. The people were nice and offered us anything. And lastly, the deserts/sides were amazing. So, I would recommend going to this place for the food and for the fun experience. 4/5.

Yelp
I guess our first visit two weeks ago was a fluke. Everything was really good. Today, service was unfriendly, super slow, chips tasted like the oil was off. Ground beef was skimpy in the tacos and very dry. The two ladies taking orders on Sunday afternoon 7/23 never smiled and had zero sense of urgency delivering the food. Took a long time for our food to come out. A worker who appeared to be a manager (gentleman) was just sitting in the dining room. The lady bringing our food (also took our order) shuffled and slow poked across the dining room. I realized an item was missing, so I went to the counter to inquire. She was helping someone else but said, oh it's coming. Ugh. She could've told me that when she dropped the other food off. Also, last visit, they randomly added chips to one of our taco plates. Only one out of three. Today, they did it again. Not sure why...the order taker told me they don't come with any sides. Confusing. We prob won't be back.

Dee S.

Yelp
wanted to give this place a try since we live close by. first red flag, it was empty, second, the workers just stood around and didn't greet us. was told that we couldn't get sour cream with our tacos even though it was listed as a side. we also were asked what kind of salsa we wanted and then we didn't get any, when we asked she said it doesn't come with the meal. The chips were stale, the chicken in my taco was cold. The "salsa bar" was disgusting. I had hoped it would be good, but don't waste your money. curious to see what will go there next. I hope they will put a good restaurant in that spot. Woodstock could use one.
