I came here with a friend upon her suggestion. Not only is the surrounding area so incredibly gorgeous (classic Inman Park), but the coffee is absolutely divine. One of the best Almond Milk Lattés I’ve had! Plus, they source baked goods from Alon’s, which is a huge win!

Google
The music isnt too loud and they keep the lights dim but the server might not like their job very much or something lol. No hi, no hello, just waiting for you to speak as their hand hovered over the touchscreen lmao. But this tells me its probably not a very “cool” shop to work in. I find usually when the employees dont care it’s the management’s fault for not catering a hip shop vibe lol. Also When my order was made she just threw the bag on the table and then inexplicably ran out the front door with another employee and they were gone down the street for like 5 minutes LOL. Girl what if i needed something 😂 just go to Harbor down the street it’s a better vibe

Wanted somewhere to read and chill on a Thursday evening and they were open until 9 which was perfect. I got an oat milk gingerbread chai latte (small size) and an apple turnover and it was almost $14. Yikes. I paid an extra $1.25 for oat milk which I find outrageous. The latte was fantastic though and since I was staying to hang out I ultimately was okay with that price. Great vibes and I would definitely go back. I was able to score free street parking which was also nice.

Staff always seems like they don't want to be there. Unfortunately, the barista could not locate the tamper for the espresso machine so poured me a coffee from the pot instead, this would have been fine as mistakes happen but I had already paid and tipped for an Americano. He walked off before I could say anything. I will still get coffee here but the service could be a little friendlier.

Google
This place has its highs and lows for sure. The space is a really good size. Plenty of tables for large and small. Wasn't decorated much or made to feel warm, but that's alright. Although there was no line, the staff seemed bothered to take my order and were quite unpleasant. I ordered a latte and avocado toast and it was $22. I didn't get a receipt so I'm not sure what costs what. The avocado toast sure wasn't anything to look at! And most avo toast I've had has a few other toppings. But, to my complete surprise it tasted really good. The latte was good as well. Overall, seems kind of hit or miss to me.

Google
Cute place with lots of great selections at market prices. Everything can be made hot or cold. Their tea selection is really great, which is rare at some coffee shops. It was surprisingly crowded for a weekday afternoon, but there were lots of places to sit. Lighting seemed a little strange even though there were lots of windows, and the barista had to ask for our order a few times to get it right. Overall, really happy with my heavenly vanilla matcha latte with almond milk!

Google
I walked in and the person who was saw me walking but I stood at the register for about 3 to 5 minutes before I had to get her attention. Coffee was lukewarm. I ordered two 16 oz dirty chias with almond milk and two ham and swiss croissants. Total came up to be over $30. Which is crazy to me. The lady that took my order was nice though.

Google
i wouldn’t recommend this place for food, there are ton of other great alternatives nearby. the avocado toast is $10 and its mediocre at best. coffee is alright, i ordered an iced lavender latte! pros about this place is the environment especially if you are trying to get some work done. the staff is friendly as well.

Yelp
I love the vibes of this place, lots of places to sit! I ordered an iced latte and it was really good! They did forget my order somehow though which I was confused about because all I ordered was the iced latte? So I had to wait a pretty long time and say something but they were nice about it. I would come again! It's in a great area

Yelp
Stopped by for a coffee fix and was pretty disappointed. First of all, it was super stuffy inside, uncomfortably so. I ordered an iced latte with almond milk. To get non-dairy milk was, I believe, a dollar more... it might have been more. I was quite appalled by that. I'm not doing it for the lifestyle, I do it because I'm lactose intolerant, I shouldn't have to pay $1 more. Extremely overpriced and the size of the latte wasn't large at all. Sadly, the iced latte wasn't even that good. Wouldn't recommend.

Yelp
I walked into Inman Perk for a cup of coffee on a Saturday. I got no greetings or smiles from the cashier or barista. In fact, I felt as if my presence annoyed them. I figured it's no problem because they're probably busy. After I ordered a Caramel Macchiato, I turned around and well, the shop wasn't crowded at all. The decor was simple and cute, but I didn't dine in because I just wasn't getting friendly vibes from the staff. The Caramel Macchiato was very pretty to look at, but it was also very bland. The drink was not worth $5.25 (before taxes). I would've given the cafe another chance in the future if the employees came across as nice, but I'd rather get coffee at Starbucks for the same price and better service.

Yelp
Cool spot but the coffee we ordered not good. Cappuccino is like a latte with some foam on top. Mocha is like a chocolate milk.
google avatar

Yelp
Used to be a big fan of coffee and food here. Last two orders have been embarrassing. I can't believe they call this avocado toast.

Yelp
Great egg sangy. I would happily go again but my bs "employer" closed the local office

Yelp
Stopped in for late breakfast. Ordered the lox bagel, ham and cheese sandwich and two cappuccinos When the sandwiches were ready, they hollered from the counter....ok thought that was odd. What are we tipping for if you are not bringing our items to our table. They were not that busy in my opinion, everyone was already sitting with coffee and such. The bagel was great. They do not actually make their pastries there. The pastries are supplied by a bakery near by. Wish my lox bagel had maybe one more piece of salmon. The cappuccinos had more milk and less coffee or the coffee was so light could barely taste it. Not horrible just ok. As far as the inside was concerned it looked comfy. Tables and chairs all around with most two tops taken up by one person. It was overall pretty quiet inside. I do not recall any music playing. Overall it served a purpose we had coffee and food. The most enjoyable part there was a puppy outside I got to pet and we became the best friends ever.

Yelp
ordering is usually fast and quick, rarely a wait, they're rarely snarky , ive gotten theyre lemonade which is pretty sweet but soo refreshing, and ive had theyre jasmine tea which is sooo soothing, the crowd is super chill and quiet, and the decor is modern and adorableee

Yelp
Came here to work and although it was a little loud I loved all the seating and outlets. The service was pretty quick and my drink was out almost immediately by the time I found a table and set my stuff down. I ordered the Canadian chai one of their fall specials and it was delicious. Definitely on the sweeter side but I loved the maple flavor will definitely be returning!

Yelp
Loved this place! Came in on Sunday. It was a rainy day and this was the perfect cozy cafe to hang out at. We came in around 2pm. It was pretty crowded! Most of the tables were taken with people working on their laptops. They have quite a bit of seating. You order at the counter. They have lots of things to choose from - coffee, alcoholic drinks, pastries, sandwiches! We got the espresso martini, a mocha, the peachy breakfast sandwich and the Inman turkey melt. The espresso martini was great! Love that it was made with real espresso right in the shop. The mocha was also good! I don't usually get a mocha, so not sure how it compares, but we enjoyed it! The peachy breakfast sandwich was really tasty! It's a good breakfast option. It comes with egg, bacon, cheese and peach preserves on a toasted everything bagel! The turkey melt was so good! For sure the perfect lunch option. It had turkey, bacon, Brie and peach preserves! A great sweet and savory combo! It was also served with chips on the side. A very good spot to hang with friends!

Yelp
Inman Perk is BAD. I have been living in the building above so I keep giving this place a chance and I am increasingly disappointed each time. I have tried all of their 3 types of drip coffees--all taste like hot water, not coffee. I have tried all of their espresso drinks--all taste like hot water, not coffee. This morning I paid $6 for a double-shot americano. They were confused and only put in one shot--what a surprise, the drink tasted like hot water and not coffee. Nothing has routinely ruined my mornings more than paying an exorbitant amount for terrible coffee at Inman Perk. Even their croissants are stale and chewy. Do not go here, it is far more worth your time and money to drive to Dancing Goats in Midtown or Ponce instead.

Yelp
This was quite possibly the worst cup of coffee I've ever had in my life. It was so bad I threw it away after trying several times to drink it so I didn't waste my money. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee, which if you're familiar, you know is made with sweetened condensed milk and is VERY sweet. I was served a dark colored watered down mess that was not sweet at all. I even walked back in and told them it wasn't sweet, and I was directed to the side where they had simple syrup so I could sweeten it myself. Then I asked just to make sure if they added the condensed milk and they said yes. Well, it must have only been a splash because it didn't taste or look anything like Vietnamese coffee. I wouldn't even waste my time or money trying anything else here.

Yelp
I always love supporting local businesses but this establishment has gone down hill over the years. I was instantly greeted when I got to the counter and I ordered a 16 oz iced vanilla latte with almond milk and it was about $8 not including tip. The coffee was decent but there are certainly better coffee shops in the area. My main issue with this place is how the place is kept. It just feels dirty and dingy. I used the restroom during this trip and god knows when it was last cleaned. Sure they empty the bins and maybe mop the floor but the toilet and sink were yucky. I don't know if I'll ever be going back unless management does something to improve this place.

Sarah C.

Yelp
Even with all the development of the last few years, Inman Perk is still a chill spot to hang and reminds me of the Atlanta I knew and loved in the 90s.
google avatar

Lisa J.

Yelp
They opened 30 minutes late and there's trash all over the floor. When I asked the person working here what was up, they just shrugged. Cool. Definitely won't frequent a sloppy place that doesn't clean or respect itself. Such a bummer!
google avatar

Yelp
Love it! Best dirty chai. It's my first stop when I go to Atlanta. Can't wait to get back.

Raymond M.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the atmosphere. I got a black coffee to go with my cigarette and it paired like a Cabernet Savignon with a beautiful Salmon filet. After I finished my delectable appetizer I came back inside for an everything bagel (without the poop on it this time lol!) and it hit the spot. Would recommend this spot to anybody in the LGBTQ+ community looking for a likeminded atmosphere.
google avatar

Eric S.

Yelp
3 stars because staff was nice, but 3 stars because the food item was a joke. Got a ham and Swiss croissant. Should be called "hint of ham and Swiss". Coffee was mid.
google avatar

Varun K.

Yelp
Inman perk is a very cute and bustling coffee shop right on the main street of inman park! They have tons of seating and it is always packed with people. They have really comfortable furniture and a very eclectic vibe. The cold brew I got was super tasty and I really enjoyed my overall experience!
google avatar

Alesa W.

Yelp
I came in on a Sunday morning, and I was the only guest in the store. I saw a matcha lavender latte on the board of specials that sounded good, so I requested the latte. The barista didn't even know what specials were on the board, so I had to read it off to him. Once he took my order, he promptly began making my drink. However when I took a first sip I was let down. There was almost no matcha flavor whatsoever, and a very artificial lavender flavor. Not sure I'd come back and order a coffee or other drink based on this experience.

Meredith D.

Yelp
Coffee is subpar, but it's convenient and the workers are pleasant and quick. It's not necessarily a place I'd go to get work done, but it's got a lively environment.
google avatar

Roann T.

Yelp
Inman perk is my favorite coffee shops in the Inman Park area. If you're driving there parking can get a little tricky. There is a parking deck that's directly behind it and parking is free for up to 3 hours for the retail shops. The best part is there is a cute back door that will lead you straight from the parking deck to the coffee shop. There is a ton of seats and outlets so no worries there. There's also a full bar if you're wanting something a little stronger than coffee. I opted for a small vanilla latte, and yes it was delicious as it looks! Inman perk is the perfect place to study or a casual first date! Pop in; you definitely won't regret it!
google avatar

Alka K.

Yelp
A caramel latte with oat milk is always my go-to order at most coffee shops. Here, my go-to order is their matcha latte! The caramel latte has a bit of an aftertaste and I'm not sure why so I would avoid it. The matcha latte was delicious- my only gripe with most matcha drinks is that it sometimes feels a bit grainy and powdery. The level of powdery-ness with this one was about a 4 on a scale from 1-10. There are lots of people on their laptops getting work done and several people just hanging out so the noise level is a good medium. Cute place to stop by if you're looking for a coffee stop in Inman Park.
google avatar

Christina V.

Yelp
I stopped into Inman Perk during a long walk/run for some coffee and a water. Their nitro is still the best in ATL, in my opinion! They have removed all seating inside (obivously). The signage upon entry says "to go only," but people are beginning to sit at the tables outside, which is sort of nice to see. Since I was on a run, I did not have a mask with me when I decided to bop into the coffee shop, and I sensed that the baristas were slightly uncomfortable. I would recommend wearing a mask inside, even though it'll be a quick transaction. They are still offering a full menu! And they do not take apple pay or cash, only card!

Yelp
Yummm!! I've flown all the way from Oregon twice to eat here. I'm impressed how good the food is. Best to get here early or on a weekday
google avatar

Mads B.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite coffee shop hangouts in the city. Always good people watching and parking is easy and free either on the street or in the attached garage. My favorite is the chai latte. It has a really unique flavor that I've never had before. All the breakfast sandwiches I've had are fine. Nothing I dream about but all hit the spot. Lots of seating and desk space (though right now it carry out only because of Covid) to work. Solid place to check out.
google avatar

Alexandra D.

Yelp
I'm going to have to echo most of these reviews. I live across the street and avoid going here at all costs. The first and foremost reason is the staff. Always rude, always cold. Even when yelling out your order to let you know that it's ready; somehow that is rude too. In addition to that - coffee is not good (I would rather go to Starbucks at this point and I abhor Starbucks), food is sub par and the coffee is expensive compared to surrounding places. The only thing keeping this place afloat is the location and I can't justify that. Also as someone who lives across the street they are routinely not open at the time posted as their opening. I have found myself and others on more than one occasion standing outside locked doors that are supposed to be open. I understand staffing has been short, but I have not experienced this anywhere else in the midst of the last two years.

Yelp
I was meeting friends for lunch and they were super late, so because I was close, I walked a half a mile and found Inman Perk waiting for me, so I headed on in for a light snack. It was an added bonus that Inman Perk had a 100% off scoutmob deal for a free medium coffee or tea. I did get a medium Jasmine hot tea (free) as well as a slice of their spinach and garlic quiche (about $5) The quiche was nice and creamy, and you could see the spinach pieces all throughout the slice. I didn't taste much garlic if i'm being honest though. For those who are on a time crunch, just know that they need 7 minutes to warm up the quiche. The jasmine tea didn't have a very strong flavor of Jasmine, but wasn't a bad cup, especially with it being free. I may have been a little disgruntled with it if it weren't free though. The inman perk interior was nice and spacious, and they did have a smaller bar along the wall closest to their restrooms. Located on N. Highland Ave, I wish I paid attention to parking at Inman Perk, but considering I walked here, I didn't notice. This area is pretty slammed with traffic most days i'm here though, so parking may take some effort. At the end of the day, Inman Perk gets the job done if you want a cup of caffeine. Customer service is nice, they're yelp/scoutmob friendly, and if I lived close, I might pay them a visit more frequently than once in a blue moon.

Nnena U.

Yelp
Weird place but really solid. The people that work there remind me of how little five points used to be. Service was good and the couches looked comfy.
google avatar

Katherine G.

Yelp
The bagels and lox here is pretty inexpensive if you're craving that! Same cost as Einstein's and it was good! The coffee was also good. I could def see myself going back if I was in the area. Only complaint is it took a little long for the food to be made.
google avatar

Hadley K.

Yelp
Subpar in every way. They won't blend sweetener to any of your drinks. Their matcha powder is full of cane sugar. Their bathroom is dirty. I wanted to like this place because it's so convenient. Just skip altogether.
google avatar

Roksolana H.

Yelp
Came here with friends because we're the biggest coffee shop fans and wanted to check out the coffee scene here in Atlanta. Ordered the matcha latte and it was so amazzzzing!! The steamed milk adds the perfect ratio of creaminess to the crisp matcha taste. They don't use tops for their coffees, so if that's something that would bother some people just a disclaimer. On the other hand, I appreciate it since it's less plastic, so more sustainable! Very nice ambience and prices seem pretty standard for Atlanta. Definitely a cute place to study or chill with friends. Would definitely come again just for the coffee and teas though!

Yelp
1 star for the one girl who was nice to me. I just moved to Inman Park and have been very pleased with the location and culture here.... EXCEPT for this coffee shop. I have had MULTIPLE bad experiences here involving not only me, but my friends and guests as well. Most of the issues have to do with the rude staff. Particularly the guy with the dad bod and slicked back hair. Today I had my last bad experience there and will not be going back. The man told me i could not sip my drink that I had just paid for because i needed my mask on... with no other patrons in the store and with him being across the room. I understand having a mask on, but this guy only says it as a power trip and not for safety. This is not the only bad experience with this guy either. It has been multiple. The coffee is mediocre , the croissants are stale, and the avocado toast is nothing to brag about. Once again though beware of the staff. Extremely rude. Especially dad bod guy
google avatar

Cassie L.

Yelp
I've never been into a cranky coffee shop until yesterday - walked in 30 min before closing and the first thing out of their mouth was they close at 7 - which we had no idea what time it was - they were passive aggressive and it was obvious they were upset they had to make coffee
google avatar

Hunter J.

Yelp
Usually they're playing metal/screamo on the loud speakers. What are we doing guys? This is a coffee shop with people studying and working. I'm not looking to have metal in the background when I'm trying to focus. Coffee and food is also just so-so

Kendall T.

Yelp
If Seasonal Affective Disorder were a coffeeshop, it would be Inman Perk. The place is in desperate need of a refresh. It's a dark, dirty, and musty place that isn't inviting whatsoever. It's a rundown place in need of some light, energy and a deep cleaning. I have to believe they are very lucky to have built-in clientele from Inman Park or they would probably be out of business.
google avatar

Latasha B.

Yelp
I reviewed this place before, but I must give credit where it's due. The staff and new employees are a lot friendlier. Coffee and lattes will not disappoint. Baristas actually know what they are doing. Place is back open for seating. Its starting to feel like the old Inman perk I grew up on. My only suggestion is for them to get real matcha, the blend is sugary and not potent.

Rachel K.

Yelp
Heavy metal is not exactly what you want to listen to on a Sunday afternoon. Atmosphere seemed off..
google avatar

Ben M.

Yelp
Unfort, the only thing this place has going for it is location and decent coffee. The wifi is sh*t, service is apathetic and food is very low quality. Someone, PLEASE open a new cafe on Highland Ave!
google avatar

Tiff H.

Yelp
I'd heard great things about Inman Perk and I was so excited to give this coffee shop a try while in the area for dinner. When my pre-dinner plans to sip Intellentsia lattes fell through, I decided to make my friends stop in with me after dinner. We only have 45 minutes until closing, so we rushed in to grab something and sit for a bit. We took a little time picking drinks that wouldn't keep us up all night. I ended up with a nice hot chai tea latte and my friend ordered a hot tea. Drinks are surprisingly affordable. I hate when I pay $4 for a small latte. And they take the Levelup app! I believe there is currently a Scoutmob coupon for a free coffee, too. Just wanna say that I understand, Friday nights is turn up night after a long week of work. But you don't need to yell into the mellow coffee shop every 15 minutes that you're closing soon. At 30 minutes in, the baristas were noisily stacking chairs and moving tables around, getting ready to close up shop. It was pretty obnoxious and rude. I usually see baristas working the long hour after closing to considerately clean up shop. I've never seen a worse team of baristas, not even at franchises like Starbucks. It was not a comfortable feeling to be shooed out of a coffee shop in that manner. Mic drop. I had a sip of my friend's free Intellegentsia coffee and while she wasn't a fan of the bitter hit, I thought it was delicious. Definitely better than my Chai Tea Latte. My friend tasted it before I told her what it was and she thought it was a Pumpkin Spice Latte. The Chai was very weak and overpowered by the milk. While it was a great for a smooth and warm night cap, it was not really what I asked for. And with them calling out their closing time, I decided not to ask for another. Pretty disappointed - I shouldn't have set my hopes so high. I'll have to give them another try during the middle of the day so I don't encounter the end of the day and week blues.

Asenath N.

Yelp
We came here for a quick breakfast. The place was busy but we got our order quickly. It was a very laid back atmosphere. The food/drinks were a bit over priced. Just ordered drinks and a pastry can't say much about the food.
google avatar

Caroline H.

Yelp
Very average. Decent sandwich but nothing to write home about. My iced coffee was weak but I did like the caramel sauce in it. The shop had stuff everywhere and was a mess. It doesn't seem like it's very well taken care of and the quality overall was just subpar.
google avatar

Sunny D.

Yelp
Nice local spot that is comfy and looks to be a great place to study, write your future novel, or post to your food blog. I like the vibe this cozy coffee shop gives off. I suspect the customer service leaves something to be desired because of how busy they are. The cashier took my order and made my coffee. There is only one cashier so while he's making my coffee, there's a line building. I can't speak on the Wi-Fi because I didn't use it but there were a lot of individuals on their laptops who looked to be having no issue with connectivity. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and a caramel macchiato at the recommendation of the cashier. It was perfectly done, just sweet enough, and he decorated it with cobwebs. My only point of contention is that it was in a Styrofoam cup and not a mug. I didn't have a to go order so wasn't sure why it wasn't in a mug. The bagel was toasted and as bagels go, nothing to complain or praise. They don't seem to have a variety, it was just a plain bagel and Philadelphia cream cheese. I ate it because I was hungry and didn't feel adventurous enough to try anything else on their menu outside of coffee. Will I return? Probably. And can see how those who live in this neighborhood would make this their "spot".
google avatar

Allison M.

Yelp
Hmmm. This place is pretty solid for a grab and go coffee or breakfast, but there are better out there. The location is awesome and the inside is clean and nice but it's nothing epic. The cashier was eating and taking my order. Quick if getting it and disappearing to eat again. The tea was mediocre. The WiFi didn't work. I ended up just giving up and leaving.
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
Decent coffee, good location, though coffee wasn't hot when I got it. Never bad to have almond milk and honey sweetener though
google avatar

Riley M.

Yelp
Inman Perk is a great coffee shop with a cozy neighborhood feel. I live in the area so I often come here to get work done or read. The baristas have always been kind and un-pretentious, and I've never had trouble finding a space to sit or an outlet to plug in my laptop. Reliable wifi too. I typically get just plain coffee (consistently good), but occasionally splurge on a fancier drink. I recently tried the iced chai, which was absolutely perfect with just the right amount of sweetness. In terms of food, I highly recommend the Peachy Bacon Egg Sandwich!

Yelp
I love the location right on the Beltline. I love the ambience inside, and, especially in these times, I love the ample outdoor seating. It's one of my favorite places to work while having coffee. That being said, I'd like it even more if Octane or Hodgepodge or another local coffee chain were to buy this location. The coffee is good, but not great. The lunch menu is good, but not great. The pastries are good, but not great. The restrooms are... not even good. The toilet paper dispensers are falling off the wall and have been for years. The toilets frequently clog. One time I saw a disgusting dark residue under the rim that I scrubbed of myself (they fortunately provided a toilet brush) and I think I must have been the first person to clean the bathroom in weeks. How they pass their health inspections is a mystery to me.

Yelp
Coffee was a expensive but the iced chai tea I got was delicious. It was $5 for a small sized drink. On a Sunday morning there was plenty of available seating and the customers weren't too loud. Wish there were some more chairs instead of tables and a couch.

Yelp
Finally having to just boycott it. We live near here and have been going for years and I'm just done. The staff is rude and consistently gets orders wrong. I'm not even going into details bc they dint deserve anymore of my time or money. Go to Parish or get coffee at Bread and Butterfly or just go without.
