The 14 Essential Boba Tea Shops in San Francisco Right Now | Eater SF

"A player since 2012, this local chain now touts six shops and a loyal fanbase. Prices are a bit higher here, though — think $5.25 for a typical milk tea and $8.25 for a mango sago signature drink. This shop is one of the few to offer a robust selection of salted cheese foam-topped drinks, though, and the Rose High Mountain Milk tea is a particular high watermark for its subtle and sweet balance." - Paolo Bicchieri

Google
This is my favorite Boba place. Everything I ordered was super tasty. I also have to mention—the best coffee latte I’ve ever had in my life. I asked them what beans they use, and they said Sightglass. So, I bought the exact same beans and made coffee at home, but it still didn’t taste the same. Maybe the milk they use is different. I don’t know but whatever it is, it’s so tasty.

Google
Mango Sago – 5/5 | Thai Tea – 4.5/5 The Mango Sago was fresh and full of natural mango flavor. I had it with boba, which added a nice texture, but made it quite heavy—I’d recommend trying it without boba if you prefer something lighter. A must-try for mango lovers! The Thai Tea was creamy and paired well with the soft, chewy boba. Only downside: no option to skip the ice. Overall, the boba here is soft and delicious—definitely worth trying!🧋

Google
Great boba. Not absolutely amazing but very tasty with many options! The egg waffle is delicious with the brown sugar and fresh milk boba. It creates a texture and pairing very similar to a cookie in warm milk. The new upgrade of having two electronic ordering stations has largely decreased the wait time and being able to order online is also very helpful. Highly recommend 🧋

Google
Absolutely loved this place for milk teas with boba and agar 🧋 We tried the creamy thai green milk and brown sugar milk tea. I tried Agar for the first time and loved it. Both the drinks were perfect as customized although a little pricey. The drinks are made with non dairy products by default but you can customize it. Definitely recommend this place for anyone in the area. You have to place an order through their system/monitor in store or online and the drinks are made for you. There is little to no interaction with the staff. Service can be quick based on how crowded it is.

Google
About the Boba Tea Place: This boba tea place is situated in the lively Inner Richmond area and boasts ample parking options, making it a convenient destination. The only quirk I noticed was their choice of songs, which didn't quite match my personal taste but seemed to appeal to others. About the Drinks: During my visit, I ordered a matcha milk tea, and it turned out to be a good choice. I opted for boba and brown sugar agar, both of which complemented the drink well. The brown sugar boba was a particularly enjoyable addition. One notable feature is that the drinks are non-dairy by default, but customization is available to suit individual preferences. Overall, the boba tea place offers a pleasing experience, with a variety of options and customization available. For its quality beverages and convenient location, a four-star rating seems fitting.

Google
wonderful boba place. super easy to order, lots of options. every single drink I’ve had tastes delicious. they’re also really quick, my drinks are usually ready within a minute or two. id highly recommend the mango strawberry sago. overall great boba place. it is a small shop though, no chairs or anything. and btw, you don’t rly interact with staff or anything, you order on a tablet and then they place your drink on the counter. so i can’t say anything abt service. great place to visit tho!

Google
Got the lemon with green tea, aloe, and agar and really liked it. 25% sugar was as expected and not too sweet. I wish the green tea had a slightly stronger flavor, but otherwise enjoyed it and the price was decent. Favorite spot near me so far

Google
This place was really tasty! PLENTY of bubbles. If you don't like your tea too sweet, make sure to opt for 50% sweetness, as when I got 75% it was still too much. Contactless ordering is a breeze. Lovely packaging design and quick service. Outdoor seating is a nice touch, but wish there was a trash can nearby. Definitely coming back here again.

Yelp
Very small cute place, with no seating area. We found a meter parking spot right in front, but maybe because it was 9pm on a Friday night. We ordered through a kiosk, and I like the non-dairy milk options. There are many unique options, which I really liked. I got the rose milk tea with 50% sweet, and it was perfect. I love the flavor so much that I wished I ordered a second one. My friends all liked their drinks too, except one. Maybe because it was 75 % sweet, which is WAY too sweet. The egg puff was freshly made and hot. Best to eat it right away! We waited until we got home and cold, then it was very disappointing. I will return next time when I'm in sf again.

Yelp
3.5/5 Stopped by this spot before walking over on Clement St for shabu! Since doing Dry January, friend and I opted to get boba drinks instead of an alcoholic bevy before dinner. Times are tough I guess. I got the Salted White Gourd drink with 75% sugar. I messed up and should have trusted my instincts and got 50% sugar because 75% was way too sweet. I also didn't think that the drink was memorable. There's definitely better options out there but I guess this place isn't bad for pricing! Grab and go spot - don't expect to sit and hang out. Parking street on Geary or anywhere nearby on streets.

Yelp
A friend and I came by around 11pm and it was one of the few boba places that was still open! The shop is quite easy to spot (look for a giant boba display out front). We found street parking about a block away and walked over. There were only two other customers in the small shop, and it's more of a grab and go situation rather than a sit down and chat one. Since it was quite a chilly evening, I ended up ordering a hot High Mountain Milk Tea at 50% sweetness, and you could choose the temperature of your drink (hot/warm). My friend opted for their Roasted Oolong Tea. My High Mountain Milk Tea was not too sweet, and tea flavor was quite enjoyable! It was really nice to slowly sip (definitely warmed me up). My friend's drink also had a strong tea flavor and seemed enjoyable. Would definitely not be opposed to coming back if I'm ever in the area!
google avatar

Serena L.

Yelp
Assam milk tea (warm) - 4/5, warm and delicious. Boba was perfectly chewy. I got 50% sweet, and it was still really sweet. I will definitely try 25% next time.
google avatar

Yelp
I had the Assam Black Milk Tea with boba, this tea reminds me of the Hong Kong milk tea I had in Hong Kong. Which I loved! My friend had the Mango Pomelo Sago with boba, I taste the fresh mango and it's very refreshing drink best served on a hot day. The set you on for this boba place it's a contactless service, you order at the computer and then they make your order right away and call your order when it's done. It's was a quick grab and go. The drinks are pretty yummy and I will definitely go for more of the Assam black tea, now I can drink the Hong Kong milk tea without going to Hong Kong! I wish there is a little space for sitting down for this location.

Yelp
We had a sweet time at Little Sweet! My companion suggested grabbing boba here and going on a walk. Now that's my version of bliss! I've been to other Little Sweet locations, and this one similarly, operates as take-out only. You order and pay at the kiosk, wait for your name to be called, and head out. The shop itself is quite small with no seating and awkward standing room. You don't interact with the workers either. We both ordered a drink. I got a Mango Matcha Latte with Oat Milk and Boba and he got a Thai Green Milk Tea with Oat Milk. We were both able to adjust our sweetness and dairy alternatives, though not ice levels. I found the mango matcha to be lacking in some ways--the mango was tart and the matcha wasn't too strong. Though the boba was warm and chewy making it enjoyable. My companion's drink was pretty sweet and florally. He said it tasted like a tootsie roll and after that, I couldn't un-picture it. The drinks here are definitely on the pricier side. For those looking for a boba shop around the city, you've probably come across or heard of Little Sweet. This location off Geary is small and quiet with metered and neighborhood parking around. The variety is quite nice but I will say drinks are pricy and quality can depend on what you get.

Yelp
As my boyfriend and I were looking for a Boba spot on the way to the Golden Gate dog park, we found this particular little place had really good reviews. As we walked in, it's a little spot with hardly any parking in front, but luckily, there was a five minute parking spot that opened up just before the car dealership parking. Lol. They had so many fresh fruit items stored in their display case I decided to get a fruit smoothie. I got the tropical smoothie and my boyfriend got a jasmine milk tea. He really liked how much Boba was in his milk, tea and my fruit smoothie didn't taste over Sugary or sweet. You can order by scanning a QR code, or you can use their touchtone kiosk as the people stand somewhat in the back. They were organizing their new products and getting their new shipment situated since no one was ordering when we got there. After we ordered, it seemed like a bunch of people showed up. Lol, there's not much of a sitting area and they have this interesting open bay window section that I almost walked through thinking it was an odd door but there's an actual door to the far left of the store. On the other side/the left side of this particular Boba spot. There's a delicious pizza place called Nazario. They had one back in Sunnyvale years ago and apparently this is still the original and family owned!! Check out my review for Nazario's pizza also.
google avatar

Crystal H.

Yelp
You order at the kiosk for your drink. But it still ask you for a tip, which is so odd to me. No seating, just a kick and counter for pick up. The drink was good. Mango tasted fresh and not artificial, could used a touch more milk. Sago was a touch on the soggy side. I liked how it wasn't too sweet.

Yelp
**5 Stars: An Unforgettable Experience at Little Sweet!** I recently visited Little Sweet, conveniently located right next to the Toyota dealership, and from the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by a warm and friendly atmosphere. The giant boba statue in front of the shop is a fun and eye-catching landmark that adds to the charm and makes it easy to find. The menu at Little Sweet is extensive, offering a wide variety of flavors and toppings. I decided to try their White Gourd tea with salted cheese foam, and it was an absolute delight. The tea had a unique and refreshing flavor, perfectly complemented by the rich, savory taste of the salted cheese foam. It was a perfect blend of sweet and salty that left me wanting more. What truly sets Little Sweet apart is their attention to detail and customer service. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate about their drinks, offering great recommendations and ensuring that each drink is made to perfection. They even offer customizable sweetness levels, so you can tailor your drink exactly to your liking. Ordering is a breeze at Little Sweet. You can place your order through the convenient touch screen kiosks in the shop or order online ahead of time. This system makes the process quick and efficient, even during busy times. While there is no seating available as it is a grab-and-go kind of place, the efficient service ensures you get your delicious drink without a long wait. The shop is impeccably clean, and it's clear that the team at Little Sweet takes pride in providing an exceptional experience for every customer. If you're a boba lover or just looking to try something new, I highly recommend Little Sweet. Whether you're waiting for your car at the Toyota dealership next door or just passing by, it's a gem in the city, and I'll definitely be coming back for more!

Yelp
Little Sweet is my go-to boba spot in the Inner Richmond. You order via one kiosk inside, and there's pretty much no worker to customer interaction. I've only gotten their milk teas here all at 50% sweet, which have been enjoyable. The tea flavor is distinct, not watered-down. The store is very small, so it's definitely a grab and go boba shop. Love that they're open until 10 or 11 PM on certain days of the week.
google avatar

Andrew T.

Yelp
This place is a grab and go type of spot. The service was okay. They don't have much people working so the wait time took a while. There's 1 kiosk inside that takes your order. I got the high mountain milk, tea and this black sesame strawberry latte. The drinks tasted watered down and were pretty average. I got the high mountain milk tea with regular sweetness too but it was still watered down and you couldn't really taste the tea. The boba wasn't bad. They do have the tiny boba here. If I come here again, I will try the fruit teas.

Yelp
I love all the little sweets! I stopped at this location while in the area for lunch with friends and grabbed my usual from them, STRAWBERRY MANGO SAGO. Highly recommend! The order came out quickly and the self help kiosk was easy to use.
google avatar

Maya V.

Yelp
Got the fresh fruit tea: for some reason tasted like fish oil after the ice melted? Very lemon heavy strawberry lemonade green tea. Boba was overcooked. Employees were friendly when giving drinks, and boba is ordered through self serve kiosk. No place to sit down inside, it's just an order to go counter. Not very vibey, but very colorful inside due to the fruit sitting behind the counter.

Yelp
I can't believe I haven't done a review for Little Sweet yet! One of my Top 5 boba spots in San Francisco and I can always rely on Little Sweet being consistent with drinks that I order. Drinks: 10/10 rating Service: 8/10 rating Ambiance: 7/10 rating Parking: 7/10 rating Go to orders: Watermelon slush - 75% sweet - Lychee jelly Matcha Latte - 75% sweet - Boba (both whole and oat milk are both good) Matcha Strawberry Latte - 75% sweet - no toppings DRINKS: 10/10 rating I have never been disappointed in the drinks that I order here and doesn't matter what time of day either. It's nice being able to have a reliable go to boba shop that is consistent. I personally taste the quality of the fresh fruit and ingredients that they use. SERVICE: 7/10 rating Honestly, Imma be real, Im giving a random rating for this haha. It's very straightforward service. You order at the self kiosk and the only interaction you have with the staff is when they give you your drink. There's nothing wrong with it though! PARKING: 7/10 Hit or miss parking between residential and meter based parking AMBIANCE: 7/10 No seating available. I love how they open the wide windows on sunny or hot days. I think it's nice displaying all their fresh fruits.

Yelp
Not many good boba spots in SF... but this one stands on top. Parking is a nightmare in this area so prepare to walk far or bring a friend to go in and order for you. Interior is nothing fancy, they turned it to a to go place only. Service was extremely fast. Drinks were fantastic and the staffs were really helpful.

Yelp
Quality/Quantity - Iced Latte - My drink, well done. Have not had a good boba coffee drink in a while, thank you. Thai Green Milk Tea - Sweeter than what my daughter prefers, but she liked it. 2 Fresh Fruit Tea - A little more bitter than preferred, but that might have been our fault for ordering 50% sweetness. Jasmine Milk Green Tea - Good, you can really taste the strong tea flavor. Atmosphere - Small local shop. Take out only. Street parking, good luck. Open 7 days a week from 11am to 10pm or 11pm. Service - Took a while to get our order, but we did order 5 drinks... Price - $32, average price for drinks these days. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2012 with your 7 locations.

Yelp
first time here and they have no tables nor seats. in other words: order, grab, and go. they are using fresh ingredients and taste are great ~ recommended place for boba lovers...

Yelp
Visited Little Sweet after lunch to grab a sweet treat. I am not sure if there is anyone taking orders but there is only one kiosk. They provide a QR code to do an online order so we did that so we didn't have to wait in line. It is a small shop with no seating inside. Mango Yogurt Smoothie (4/5): I did 75% sweet and it still had a good amount of sweetness. The yogurt was a stronger flavor than the mango. It made the smoothie really thick. It was definitely like having another meal. Good place to try. It is a little pricey but it is what it is in San Francisco. There is metered parking all around the block.
google avatar

Rose C.

Yelp
A tiny grab and go spot that was a bit untidy, which was a little scary TBH. Was craving for a mango sago but it only came in one size (larger than I wanted). The mango was fresh and the drink was good. It wasn't busy so I didn't have to wait long for the order to be ready.

Yelp
Don't remember where I read about this tea stand, Yelp hot businesses or the collection for teas or drinks. But any store that makes a slush catches my eyes especially given global warming and the frequency of these warm and hot days. Driving from the outer Richmond and heading downtown, I clicked the Yelp map and noticed it was on the westbound side of Geary so I pulled into a parking space across the street. When I got there, two ladies were waiting at the empty counter and I noticed the sign suggesting I order online. Only while waiting did I notice the stand alone order station to the far right. I wouldn't have wanted to trouble the ladies in walking by so I was glad I ordered from my phone. I tried the pineapple slush, 50 sweetness (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=RCWX2auB5dGS023YhimXlg&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q) which was true to its description, unlike most tea shops I've tried. I liked the actual pulp and chunks of pineapple though the texture became gritty as I reached the bottom. It was a good healthy thirst quencher for me. In studying their menu, I will likely return and try other flavors. If I get a slush again though, I will up the sweetness level on it. Oh, and do take that selfie with the largest boba tea cup I've seen.

Yelp
I love coming here because it is so close to my house. They also have space for customers to sit and wait. I love sitting near the window sill there especially on a hot day like this, open space is just perfect! I have also always loved communication in any kind of way! And I think this is one of them :)) I usually ordered Iced Coffee from Little Sweet on my day off but I scrolled through the menu list today and I could not find it. Instead I found Iced Latte, so I left the note there! And the staff kindly took her time to give me some response :) So, I just want to shout out for this small little service that created my big smile this morning!!! Thank you so much for making me good coffee every time and spending your time communicating with me. Your great service means so much :))
google avatar

Janice J.

Yelp
Mango Strawberry Sago for $9.75 and with boba $0.70 extra. I think i would like this better as a dessert dish vs a drink. The boba, hot ingredients and mixture of cold was too much for me and my appetite. I would be open to trying something else next time.
google avatar

Jamie T.

Yelp
I appreciate a good menu with plenty of options. Was craving boba, so here we are. It would be nice if this boba restaurant has a sit down area to enjoy our fresh ordered hot egg puffs. Seems like they had space for it, but the area is now use for storage. Definitely a clutter/messy feel when you enter the shop. I'm so used to sit down & chill boba shops. Let's get into what I ordered: (Order placed through the store tablet/QR Code) * Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea * Strawberry Watermelon Slush * Egg Waffle Puff
google avatar

Timothy N.

Yelp
The first time I came here I waited about 15 minutes for my drink. There was one worker and it was a little busy which is reasonable and the drinks were super good! My favorite is the hojicha strawberry. The second time I came there were three workers and me and several other customers waited over 30 minutes for our drinks. There were two orders ahead of mine (each order had one or two drinks) and after they got their orders I realized later orders were getting their drinks first. This was when I decided to check in on my order and it turns out they were holding our order because they did not have hojicha. They were kind enough to sub for matcha but it is definitely not appropriate to not even try to reach out to us earlier and just hold our drinks until we decided to check. There was plenty opportunity to put out a sign or call our number out or call us (we ordered on kiosk), or update the kiosk to say out of stock. I don't know if this was just an off day but I was running on a schedule and this was an extremely disappointing experience. If I didn't bother to check I might've been waiting outside for who knows how long.
google avatar

Anny L.

Yelp
Only giving this place a 3 stars because twice I've gotten the egg puff and it was disappointing both times. The first time it was a little too crispy. Egg puffs are supposed to be light and airy on the inside with a slight crunchy outer layer. The second time it was basically burnt. Drinks are good (iron Buddha at half sweet is delicious!) but definitely skip their egg puffs!
google avatar

Mich W.

Yelp
Was very impressed with this little boba shop! I opted to get their white gourd milk tea with boba, which is basically like winter melon milk tea. It was creamy and delicious, and the boba was very fresh and well coated in honey. Also appreciated the ecofriendly packaging option!
google avatar

Audrey L.

Yelp
Ordered the Jasmine Green Milk Tea with Small Boba 75% Sugar. My go-to for trying out new shops. Offers a wide variety of drinks and toppings. The Jasmine Green Milk tea was VERY floral. The floral taste was intense and not really my cup of tea but regardless you can really taste the high quality of the tea. Was glad they offer regular and mini boba. For reference their small boba is larger than Wushiland pearl (mini boba). Ambiance: Was an interesting window front store. Had a funny banana wet floor sign LMAO Service: Kinda slow, they only had two workers working the whole store to man the cashier and making the drinks. But all the drinks are made with fresh fruits. Price: Hella pricey. Some drinks come out to a little under $8- $10.
google avatar

Becky V.

Yelp
It tastes watered down. 100% sweetness is not very sweet. Ah ok now I get it, hence their name. The appeal of this place is that it's only a little sweet, for those who prefer this taste. So it's really your preference! I can see why some may like it. For me who does want sweetness on the occasions when I do decide to treat myself to a drink, then it doesn't hit the spot for me. Maybe I need 150% sweet, but that's not an option oh no. Now I read other reviews and the sweetness varies. Some say 75% sweet was too sweet. It seems it isn't consistent then? It's tight space inside when you order and pickup. If there's a line waiting then you have to squeeze your way in and out. Or people have to shuffle to make room for you. There's only one self serve ordering kiosk, so you can imagine the wait when there's a group ahead of you. Each person has to figure it out, enter rewards number, pick items, then pull out their credit card to pay. Then if something goes wrong they have to restart. It works seamlessly if people are quick and know what they are doing. Think it would be faster if there was a human ordering option. The counter also feels cluttered, lots of stuff behind the counter. About $7-8 per drink with one topping (such as boba).
google avatar

Riya M.

Yelp
One of my fave boba spots! They have quite a variety of selections and depending on what I'm craving/in the mood for these are my top 7 drinks that I love: thai green milk tea jasmine milk tea thai milk tea with salted cheese foam white gourd matcha latte coffee milk tea brown sugar milk tea I get these with either crystal boba or small boba (you can substitute for nondairy milk as well for those that are lactose intolerant) and sometime I get their chocolate egg puff waffle which goes great with my drinks. There's also some great fruity drinks for those that don't necessarily like milk teas. Overall would highly recommend this boba shop!
google avatar

Kayla P.

Yelp
I usually like coming here to get a white gourd milk tea but it was pretty bland and watered down when I came this time. I also only tend to like very few of their drinks but they have a pretty big menu and everything sounds pretty good. I wish their prices weren't so steep for certain items!
google avatar

Cynthia M.

Yelp
I love their 1. Red bean slushie, yum 2. Jasmine green milk 25% sugar 3. High mountain tea 50% surgery However, milk tea drinks don't always taste the same.
google avatar

Jonathan L.

Yelp
Boba, boba, boba! Is there much more to say? Parking is tough, seating is just about non existing, but there is a steady flow of customers every time I've been here. It's a good sign. I'm a big fan of the avocado offering, and mango is good as well. Look for the big boba cup by the front entrance, or the Toyota dealership at the corner of the block, if you're looking for landmarks.
google avatar

Donna L.

Yelp
I came here last night with my friend and really enjoyed what I got! I got the Tropical smoothie which consisted of mango, strawberry, and mango blended together. I'm a big fan of fruit smoothies so this really was a good fix. When you order they give you the option of opting for a paper cup instead of plastic. What a win for the environment! That why I gave Little Sweet an extra star. I'm definitely curious to try their other fruit smoothies. They also have other locations such as the Sunset and Fidi. Highly recommend to give Little Sweet a try.
google avatar

Deanna Y.

Yelp
I've been to Little Sweet a couple times now and they're a solid boba spot that are more tea focused and have some popular mango sago and strawberry matcha drinks. I've tried the mango strawberry coconut milk sago drink and passionfruit green tea and both were tasty. I was a little bummed when I found out they don't have taro milk tea, but they do have high mountain, white gourd (winter melon) teas, and thai green tea, which I don't see commonly offered. They also have Iron Buddha (guan yin tea) that I haven't heard of before. Service is below average - we weren't greeted upon entering the store and the drinks took about 15 minutes to come out. You order and pay at a kiosk, which seemed to slow down the process because that's the only place where we could see the full menu. There were four orders that were picked up while we were waiting, so they seem to get a lot of delivery app orders. There aren't any seats inside and the counter is pushed forward a bit (likely a product of COVID times) so it can get cramped inside the store on cold or rainy days.
google avatar

Angelene C.

Yelp
Small store, no where to sit! Mostly for people who are looking to order your drink and leave. Not too much to say about the service since I've ordered off the tablet since post-pandemic. I used to live in the area and I could always come here to get boba. I love their milk teas. My favorites were thai green milk tea and wintermelon milk tea!! And my boba was always cooked perfectly!
google avatar

Winn H.

Yelp
I was visiting San Francisco, and my friend specifically took me to Little Sweet. Little Sweet is a small location, and there isn't too much seating or restrooms. Ordering is fairly easy on the self-service kiosk. I had their matcha thai tea with 50% sugar and less ice and mini boba. The drink was mostly tasty, and I enjoyed the large, boba figurine that they had outside for a quick picture opportunity. The only caution is with most matcha drinks, it may get less sweet later. Finishing most matcha drinks for me - and this one no different - ends up being an obligation, but no regrets nonetheless. They also had the option for a reusable lid at no extra cost - yay - which I had opted in to. My only regret was forgetting it was a reusable lid and tossing it... yikes. :x
google avatar

Michelle T.

Yelp
The milk teas here are solid. You can actually taste the tea in their milk tea. Even if you get 0% sweetness, the drink is still so good because they use quality tea and milk. I usually get the Iron Buddha milk tea. A family favorite is the strawberry matcha latte.
google avatar

Laurel R.

Yelp
I love little sweet I've had their other location near 9th and Irving as well. The hot green milk tea is always my go to and it's always perfectly sweet and creamy. You order at a tablet and the drinks come out in a timely manner. If you're craving boba I'd recommend this place they also do split cup if you can't decide what you want!
google avatar

Lilian Z.

Yelp
I think at one point Little Sweet was one of my go-to's but I went last night since we were in the area and I was pretty disappointed. The shop is pretty small with no place to sit down and located in the quieter side of Richmond, I'd assume they don't get too much foot traffic. This meant there wasn't much of a wait ever, but service was often still pretty slow. I ordered my usual, a jasmine green milk tea and my drink was super watered down and barely tasted like tea; on top of that there may not have been enough ice or something because it wasn't cold enough. Yesterday's experience aside, I've tried most of their milk teas and I personally really like their egg pudding so I normally opt for that instead of their boba. However, after yesterday I'm not sure I'll be back especially when there are other options in the area
google avatar

Kimberly T.

Yelp
I always get the mango sago which is refreshing and tasty. It is a thicker and dense drink. The prices for this place is more expensive than other boba places and they take a long time to make drinks. You'll normally see a long line waiting for drinks.

Yelp
Enjoyed the tea with Lychee jelly here. I wanted to try the black team but someone in my group suggested that their milk tea is real good. And I am glad I tried that. I skipped the boa this time. Opted for Assam team with oat milk to revive my old memories of Assam. And It was a so flavorsome and well balanced. I always go low on the sugar. That brings best tea flavors for me. Liked the experience. Will visit again to taste the black tea. Thanks to the team at this facility who made this well tasting tea !

Yelp
I love this place and the price is definitely worth the proportions! Usually salt cream/cheese cream costs extra with boba but my friends and I were able to get it at the same price (with or without salt cream). The tea was also really flavorful and had the perfect bitterness to it. I got 50% sugar because I enjoy tasting the tea more than sugar. I think 25% would've also tasted really good as well. No complaints on the drinks at all and I'll definitely be coming back. The service was average. You can order at the counter or from a kiosk (whatever you prefer). The store is really small and there's only a few outside seating so it's probably better to just pick up a drink and find seating elsewhere!

Yelp
Came here for a treat after playing pickleball with some friends. I had a 50% sweet latte with half and half. It was delicious! My husband ordered a honey black milk tea with boba, which he said was good. I'm craving the iced latte again and wish I lived closer! The store seemed to have a lot of DoorDash orders so it took quite a long time to get our drinks. We went to look at some new Toyotas while we waited. Glad it was worth the wait!

Yelp
Little Sweet is one of my favorite boba places in SF. My go to drink is the White Gourd with boba. It's so creamy and has a really unique flavor. I have been coming here for years and for the most part, they've been pretty consistent, but recently I feel like their drinks are more watery. I also don't like that they don't have the option of getting less ice.

Yelp
I ordered their High Mountain Milk Tea with boba, opting for 25% sugar and less ice. The tea had a distinctive gardenia aroma that was truly unique. The mellow, smooth, and floral taste was a pleasant surprise, making for a delightful treat.

Yelp
Very little to be said here, 5/5 if you like quick kiosk service and a 5/5 Oreo milk shake with tapioca :) there is no seating anymore so this place is definitely somewhere you stop and pick up rather than chill and chat.

Yelp
After constantly coming back-to-back again, I realized that Little Sweet is literally one of my favorite places to grab milk tea. I do think that their tea quality is really good and I'm always thinking about this place. One of my favorites now after coming so many times is the Iron Buddha and the Rose High Mountain. I love the floral taste from the rose, and it's very pronounced which I really like. The Iron Buddha Milk Tea is another name for the Chinese tea Tie Guan Yin. And it's like this distinct yet subtle oolong tea that I absolutely love. My third favorite is the Roasted Oolong Milk Tea. I don't think I could ever dislike this tea. It's nutty, fragrant, and how they brew it tastes just as good. Their shop nowadays is just a grab and go type of style. It use to have tables and chairs but probably cause of Covid they're restricting people from sitting inside. But they do have outdoor seating.

Yelp
A cute little boba shop located a few blocks near the Golden Gate Park! Little Sweet offers a variety of drinks from typical milk tea drinks to seasonal fresh fruit drinks. The seasonal fresh fruit drinks were pretty pricey (~$7-$8) so my sister and I decided to opt in for basic milk tea drinks. We end up getting High Mountain Milk Tea & Assam Milk Tea tea, both with boba at 75 percent sweetness. Both came out a "little sweet" and were very creamy and milky, but you were still able to taste the natural tea flavor. Boba was a little hard but still very chewy. Overall, would come back if I'm ever at the Golden Gate Park and need a boba fix!
