I came here the Friday before St Patrick’s day to have a green beer and Innisfree Irish Pub didn’t disappoint. I was greeted quickly by a friendly bartender. Tha atmosphere at that time was relaxed and laid back but it wasn’t very busy I didn’t have anything to eat but the food that was served to other customers looked great. They have a wide assortment of drinks and beer. If you’re looking for a place to go with friends, give Innisfree Irish Pub a try, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Came for the drinks. Fun atmosphere. Beautiful day to sit outside. Grouchy bartender at the front bar, didn’t really give us the time of day, felt like she was trying to get rid of us. I’ve read other reviews about the bartenders, seems like it’s a trend because people have had the same experience we have, it’s a shame because that’s the last piece of the puzzle to really make this place great.

If you want fast, fair, and reliable service go somewhere else. The customer is not someone that is cared for at this establishment. You might even be charged twice for the same thing one in the five minutes and the other an hour after.

Innisfree Pub had a rustic Irish pub look to it. This place is located at a really beautiful spot. However, that beautiful rustic feel was not complemented well with their food taste. The atmosphere was really good considering it was summertime. The patio seating is definitely recommendable and had a great view too. They had a good drinks menu with a fine selection of Irish signature drinks. The food was nothing extraordinary. The shepherd's pie tasted a little bland. Normally, shepherd's pies come with a baked crust on top. This one, however, had no such thing and was pretty mundane with few strings of cheeses sprinkled on top. I had expected a little more considering this is their signature in-house special. The fish and chips however was good. Overall, this place is a nice spot to hangout on a warm summer evening with a Guiness. I just wished their food was a little better, like it's contemporaries in other cities.

If you go at the right times, you can walk right in. When students are in town, it's a hot spot, so you never know how long it can take to get in. Noise level all depends on time of day or night.

The shorter blonde bar tender served me and overcharged me for my drinks while also giving me attitude. Not sure if she was just having a bad day or something but the service was absolutely unacceptable and i will not be returning.

This place is the greediest bar in town. Their food is horrible, the workers are rude, there are many other better places to go to in Tuscaloosa. Don't waste your money going here, they won't improve unless they start losing profit.

Service was amazing!! So quick and super friendly. Food was delicious!!! Fries were a bit crunchy but that's my only complaint. Great music good vibes outside. Brought our dog along! Definitely would recommend! The Thursday specials are crazy. Buffalo trace doubles for 5$!

Good stuff first: the fried catfish was pretty good and the staff was sweet. Other than that this place has the charm of an outhouse on a tuna boat. Lima beans and greens were tasteless and felt like they forgot to clean up. I love a good dive bar but this didn't check the box.

Great bar food! Staple of bama. The staff and atmosphere is young but its a college town. Drinks are cheap but what they charge the kids for entry is ridiculous. Drinks are reasonable, large space inside and out and they have a pool table. The bathrooms are gross so use the toilet elsewhere if u can.

The bouncers are rude and everyone was just standing around. there was no dancing or anything. not worth a $20 cover.

Stopped in for lunch on a Monday and arrived after they opened (11am). We could smell yesterday's beer but what do you expect in an Irish campus Pub (we did not mind). Good Food and Service. We would go back again. Looks like a Great place to grab a beer with seating outside. Roll Tide!

Loved this place. We had a wonderful waitress and we made the bartender work for their money. It was all great. We had several rounds of food as we were there for a long while. Food was great. We had onion dip, a few other appetizers, and the fish and chips. Cole slaw was great too! If you are in Tuscaloosa, this needs to be on your itinerary! Get you some!

Came here while visiting the campus and their pub fries are to die for!! A must have. I paired those with Freemosa, which was a fun take on a mimosa. Looking forward to coming back again when in town

Food and drinks are solid but the best aspect of this place is the lovely bartender Kelsey! Very sweet and took great care of my friends and I.

Where to begin? Good ol' Alabama - traveled down here to catch the game against Michigan and came to this spot NYE and had no problems. Decided I'd go back because my experience was fine the night before - midway through the game however, I'm tapped on my shoulder while sitting at the bar and told I had to leave. When I asked "why?" Seeing as how I was just sitting there watching the game I was told I wasn't owed an explanation and escorted out. I repeatedly asked why and still received no answer as to my early exodus and was told not to come back(won't have to worry about that). Just know that if you're an African American and want to experience what this state was like under governor George C. Wallace - please go to this bar and sit there. Great way to experience what a classic sit-in was like back in the civil rights movement.

Staff was rude especially blonde girl named alyssa, she thought she was all that and a bag of chips. Definitely not coming back. Better to go somewhere like Houndstooth or Galettes - always cheaper too.

My 25 kids, 4 mothers, and I went to innisfree for thanksgiving and they were so kind and friendly whilst taking care of our hunger needs. They all did an irish jig for my 24 year old son's birthday! 10/10 would recommend going:)

Normally I enjoy getting the meat and three at lunch but today was a little aggravating. I had food delivered and the order was completely wrong. I ordered the country fried steak and it came with fried catfish. I'm allergic to seafood so to start that was a dangerous mishap and I couldn't eat any of the side's because they were all touching. I reordered the meal and it did come correctly but the country fried steak was burnt. I don't know if the cook is the issue or the entire staff. Very disappointed in the service and food quality today. If they were too busy to be careful in preparation they need to look at management.

As a women getting harassed at this place is just heartbreaking for gods sake!! I was enjoying my drink as a man approached me and tried hitting on me and after verbally expressing no interest he continued to do so and was getting up on me and security and it's employees did nothing to help! If you were looking for a place to have a good drink and SAFE drink I wouldn't go here there's better places in this town for BETTER DRINKS!!

Please don't go here. The staff is mean and very aggressive. Plus the cover charge is 20$. Don't go here.

tried to go to innis for a girls night out and bouncer didn't even look at our id's and denied us while we are over age and were willing to pay cover. we were very disappointed. the bouncer just seemed to be in a bad mood and took it out on every visitor. seems like it's going downhill with their attitude of customers. very disappointed.

The food was very late, plus the music for a bar was both quiet and dismal. I would highly recommend checking somewhere else out it's barely above a bar for legal individuals if that.

Came here a couple months back after a game! LOVED BRITTANY! She was absolutely phenomenal! Made not only my drink, my wife's (complicated) drink to perfection!! Came the other night with my daughter and was sad to see Brittany go! Hope she's doing well!

First time eating here 8:30 pm on a Thursday. so didn't know what to expect. Came in and employees just looked at me. I finally asked someone if I should seat myself or what and he said "yeah". I walked over to the garage side bar and I was greeted by Donnie. Great experience. She had menus down right away And asked what I would like. I got food and she recommended a drink that I got. Jt wrap was delicious. The sauce could have been spread over more instead of the ends. still good. She was kind and attentive. I'll be back again to try other dishes. They only had one bathroom that I could see so a bummer for busier nights. Clean place for the most part. Rocky the manager was really nice.

This place is a joke. $20 cover charge and they didn't even have a band!! Pretentious

Innisfree is great for if you want to grab a bite to eat as well as if you want to spend a night or game day around good company, drinking & etc. You seat yourself when you walk in, so good luck with that. The waitresses are all friendly, and I've never had a bad experience with any of them. I always order the chicken tenders drenched in Irish-Gold sauce and a side of French fries (whew chile it's pricey but worth it). It never takes too long for the food to come out, and for some reason if it does, it's probably cause they are crowded. The chicken tenders with the signature Irish gold sauce is so good! It's like honey mustard but with buffalo sauce or something but it's really amazing! Highly recommend trying them. As far as the bar part goes, the music is sometimes diverse, very appealing to all types of crowds and the bartenders are great!

I am so happy this place is around. Delicious chicken. Cutest cook ever. This is a basic Irish drinking bar/college bar. The food was good and the ambiance was awesome. I can imagine this place really going off on gameday in a regular year. Cheap drinks and Bama students!!! Roll Tide.

Originally came to innisfree for drinks and Apps before going out on a friday night. The atmostphere of this place is loud and lively, definitely the spot for a wild night. This bar really wins in my family because they had a good draft list aswell as Miller High Life!! As for appetizers we ordered pickle chips and cheese fries. It was super busy in the restraunt by this time and our waitress was cleary very busy and frustrated probably. Service was perfect for how busy it was. The only thing that knocked my review down was that our server took away our half eaten pickle chips that hadnt been finished with out asking if we were done with them, which we were not.

Irish Pub Shepherds Pie is instant potatoes with chunky ground beef under it. No gravy, no veggies no flavor. Accompanying the pie was a piece of microwaved cornbread. Only two or three "Irish" dishes offered. They could at least play Irish music.

Great place to drink on the weekend with friends. I spent many Fridays and Saturdays here and it will be one of the places you don't forget. Good, solid food to soak up the alcohol. Cheap drinks, with a nice amount of liquor. A college favorite and surely one of mine.

As a long time customer of Innisfree, I can say that their current priority of their patrons is disturbing. Their social media is a horrible depiction of what this institution meant to us as college students many years ago. I'm sad to see this shift in attention. Very disappointed in the current priority of this establishment.

It didn't blow me away, but it was good. Though we were the only customers at the time, it took a couple of tries for our first waitress to get part of the order right. I guess it was just loud. They started cleaning with bleach which caused me to have to leave in a coughing fit of asthma, but I can't blame them for being clean. At least I was done eating.

Came into Tuscaloosa for Parents Weekend and came to the pub for my first time and was pleasantly surprised. The place was packed on a Saturday afternoon we had a group of 14 and they sat us within 30 minutes. The only thing better then the seating was our waitress Hailey VanRoosendael she was awesome in every aspect great service, new the menu, never had an empty glass just stellar. The food was great as well wings as well as the atmosphere. Would highly recommend them and will be back on my next visit asking for Hailey.

Innisfree is the place to be on a warm day in Tuscaloosa. The pub offers good food and a great atmosphere. You have to try the pub fries and get a 'Sabanade' to go with it!

Came here for lunch today, meat and three with cornbread was really good. I had the grilled chicken with buffalo sauce. Our server Kennedy was awesome! She was friendly and consistently checked on us and kept our drinks full. We will definitely be back.

spent all day saturday at innisfree. watched every game, had a fun time, great drinks, and the best food! also split the buffalo chicken dip and irish gold tenders earlier in the day but didn't get a pic. always have a great time here! top place to watch a game.

nothing about this bar deserves more than one star. Bartender....poor Security...poor Food....poor Drinks...poor Cover...expensive Literally go ANYWHERE else and get better service and cheaper drinks.

The bar area is really squishy and there isn't much room for movement. The bartenders are attentive and helpful. There are plenty of seats everywhere but it doesn't feel very clean. I wouldn't want to touch anything else besides the chairs. It's a nice place to watch the game since there are TV screens in every direction you look. If you want a laid-back setting that's kind of loud and dirty, this is the place. If you want a scene that's more cozy and comfy, Loosa Brews is around the corner.

I love my service here! The girls are so cute and nice. The bar tenders are also so quick and on their feet even on busy weekends like LSU. Definitely come here if you're in Tuscaloosa... maybe you'll see morgan wallen! I love my server phoebe can't wait to see her again!

No local beer. Alabama game reruns on the TV. Slow-as-molassas bartenders. The shining star here was the Rueben but, full disclosure, it was the first thing I had eaten that day other than coffee 10 hours prior. Kudos to our sweet server who was absolutely overrun with happy hour frat dudes but kept a smile on her face and grabbed beers herself to hasten the train wreck of a bar tending situation. She single handedly upped this place from meh to mediocre.

We went to Innisfree on Monday evening while traveling through Alabama. We found it on accident, originally wanted to go somewhere else that ended up being closed. There were very few people in the bar at this time so we had very good service. She got our drinks immediately and recommended several menu items for us, mentioned it was half price appetizers and drink specials. We were impressed with the food, for bar food. They have traditional Irish dishes, but with a pub style feel to it. The sweet potato fries were delicious, as were the wings. The bar had cool decor, nothing fancy. It's a typical college town bar. This isn't a place I'd ever go for an evening out, but definitely cool for a sporting event. We didn't have any problems. Enjoyed the meal we had while passing through.

The food was horrible, I was expecting bar food but this was way worse. It actually made me physically ill and I had to notify the health department of food poisoning. As if that weren't enough, the service was terrible too. It was twenty minutes after we were seated before our server even came by to get our drink order. When our drinks finally did come, they were watered down as they had sat at the bar for at least another twenty minutes before our server picked them up and brought them to us, the ice had melted in them. I could have been understanding of slow service had the pub been busy or understaffed but it was neither of those things. I should also comment on the atmosphere, it is infested with many rude, loud Tuscaloosans whose bad behavior is tolerated by the management. I've been to many Irish pubs with a fun loving, pleasant atmosphere. This is not one of those. In summary, if you want slow service, bad drinks, a case of food poising, and rude company, this is the place for you.

Could be a nice place but the need a better menu. Ordered a salad and the lettuce was frozen. Hot dog was ok. Didn't get charge for my meal so that was good

Good Irish food. Great atmosphere and lots of tv to catch the game when it is on. The menu is pretty limited. But it does have Irish favorites!

Terrible service! Total ignored and when got to order on half of order. Bartender taking care of folks that walked up after us. She lost tip and they lost customer and plenty of bad pr! They don't need me and I don't need them! Dirty too!

I love this place and one of my favorite go to places in t-town. Unfortunately, I ordered fries and did not get them until an hour later. It is disappointing to know how bad the service can be, considering that I asked two employees and both said my order was not ready. S/O to the server who finally acknowledged that I have not gotten my fries yet and got them within 5 minutes. A great bar but not the best experience. A true 3/10 experience at best.

This is my favorite restaurant in Tuscaloosa but the service fucking sucks I've been waiting for my check for 45 minutes I'm about to freak out

The security staff is very unprofessional and rude. An overly intoxicated woman assaulted my buddy. She began to hit and shove him. After a quick ordeal, the security staff proceeded to remove my buddy from the bar without knowing the situation. My friend and I were both sober and had not consumed any alcoholic drink all night. After paying a five dollar cover, he was removed from the bar because he had a drunk girl assault him. I will never be going back, and I will encourage my friends to do the same.

Terrible service!!!! No one even acknowledged we were there even after we went inside to ask for service. Two servers saw us and never acknowledged us! Although, they were serving a group of kids.

I have heard good things about the food at Innisfree, but what I got at my first visit was fairly bad. I had the chicken tenders which were hot, crispy, and flavorful but that was about the only positive I have. The lunch plate had three small tenders and meager portion sizes all around. Everything else was tepid, except the slaw, which was warm. Nothing else had a lick of seasoning on it. It was bland, room temperature food.

Nothing beats going to Innisfree during a warm day in t-town! Their apps are the best and the $4 bud light pitchers can't be beat. They even let dogs on the patio so you might meet a furry friend. At night it's the place to go! Some days they have trivia, a live band or on Saturday a football game!
