'04 Tastemaker Awards

"Jason Denton, at 34, started the wine-bar trend in NYC with his small restaurant 'ino in 1998, offering a selection of wine by the glass and panini. He later collaborated with Mario Batali to open Lupa and Otto, and with his brother Joe to open 'inoteca." - Food & Wine Editors

Great wine selection and cute atmosphere and location. My problem was that on a hot summer night, the A/C was effectively off and the wine (red) was served at "room" temperature - far too hot! A wine bar should be more attentive to the temperature of its wine.

Truffled Egg Toast! Okay now I got that out of my system. This is good place to escape for some wine or coffee and something to nosh on with someone you fancy... not too much for group of friends due to size.

Been coming here for +9 years now. One of the few constants in my NYC life. Antipasti platter and asparagus-truffle-parmesan bruschetta.

the most inventive for breakfast or lunch. you may see patti smith drinking her coffee or drew barrymore smooching her latest flame but you will love the food.

THIS PLACE IS A BIT COSTLY FOR WHAT THEY SERVE, BUT AS AN ITALIAN, I LOVE THIS COZY LITTLE HOLE WHERE YOU CAN HAVE SOME AMAZING GRILLED PANINI, AND THE WIDEST SELECTION OF BRUSCHETTA IN TOWN!
