Insomnia Cookies

Hi all!! After having dinner we had a craving for ice cream. So visited Insomnia cookies. The place was crowded and even around 1 am. We ordered 3 scoop ice cream with Caramillinare, cotton candy, dream weaver with white chocolate macadamia cookie. I felt cookies are sweeter than ice cream. The ice cream was really tasty with the cookie. It seemed to be pricy for the quantity they are offering.

Was that cookie really almost $4? Yes… but honestly, it was worth every cent—despite me being allergic to chocolate. I was having one of those days where only a chocolate cookie felt like it could fix everything. And outside of the price, I was genuinely happy with my choice. The cookie was fresh, soft, and warm—melting all over my fingers, lips, and mouth in the most satisfying way. The experience was quick and easy: I walked in, picked my cookie, paid with Apple Pay, and was out with fresh-baked goodness in under five minutes. Did I wake up with a giant chocolate bump on my face a few days later? Yes. Do I regret it? Not at all. That cookie was worth it.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to Insomnia - Midtown, but my Bestfriend is addicted to their cookies so we had to go. The parking is still trash as always. Lol. This is an ideal location to walk to if you’re close. However, I double parked (forgive me) and ran inside. Walking into Insomnia - Midtown is like walking into a cookie dream. All you smell is sugar, cream, vanilla, and a burst of almonds. It smells sooooooooo good. As I was trying to be good, the menu forced me to break all my calorie rules and order 3 cookies. lol!!!! Anddddd, the menu made me download the app because it was looking at me and saying “you know you want to sign up for rewards!” Also, it’s purple which is my favorite color. lol! The store had a line, but the staff was working quickly so it moved fast. Getting up to the counter, the cashier was very pleasant and took my order. I ordered the Snickerdoodle, White Chocolate Macadamia, and an Oatmeal Raisin. Once my order was placed, my cookies were in the box and presented to me before I was even done paying. That’s what you call service!!!! I got in the car, opened my Cookes and OMGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!! I have no idea what happened. I was minding my business tasting my Snickerdoodle and when I looked up… ALL THREE COOKIES WERE GONEEEEEEEE. Mind you… my Bestfriend was still eating his first cookie and my three were gone. I think the box ate them!!!!! Ha. These cookies are amazing. You can’t ask me which one is the best as that is not a fair question. With such cookie perfection my admiration for each flavor profile is unwavering. Ha. However… my favorite cookie overall is ALLTHREE in one Box. HeHeHe Dear Insomnia - Midtown… #CookieMePlease

Absolutely seriously, like these cookies. The name truly fits. Very nice cashier manager and crew. Cookies were on point. Tasty crispy edges, oh my gosh, yes. Enough said, ate two white chocolate macadamia cookies. Night nite.

I love Insomnia Cookies! I tried the new hot chocolate cookie, and it was absolutely delicious. The walk to the store is nice, and while parking is on the street, I’ve been lucky finding a spot. One of the best perks is their late-night hours. If the service were just a bit friendlier, this would easily be a 5-star experience—but maybe I’m expecting Chick-fil-A hospitality at a late-night cookie shop!

Insomnia Cookies Midtown ATL never misses! The cookies are always warm, fresh, and melt-in-your-mouth good. I stopped in late one night and was immediately greeted with great vibes and even better customer service. Everyone was upbeat, friendly, and clearly knew their stuff. You can tell they really care about keeping the store clean, organized, and running smoothly—even when it’s busy.

This insomnia has the worst staff and is incredibly lazy. The ice cream flavors are limited compared to other locations I’ve visited, which always have everything stocked. Half of the cookies were gone, and it would have been more appropriate to inform guests about the unavailable cookies and the estimated time for baking fresh ones, especially considering the long line without a clear reason. Unfortunately, management seems unwilling to address this issue at this location.

Stopped by for a late night treat. The service was quick and the cookies tasted good but why are they so expensive. I ordered the brookie and the triple chocolate deluxe. The cookies cost about $4-$5 each. Both tastes extremely well and are worth a try. I would not make this place a regular treat.

Ordered a dozen cookies for pickup because I love to order Insomnia Cookies when I'm in a big city. Great service, excellent quality cookies, fresh, flavorful, exactly as ordered, neatly packaged, and visually stimulating. This is essentially a counter order and pickup. College students abound. Busy street outside. Fun, bustling midtown location. I would definitely order cookies again from here. Ten out of ten!

Great service from this location! Definitely recommend coming here for your late night treats or dessert. Everyone found something to hit their sweet spot. I loved that my cookie was warm and melted chocolate chunks with marshmallows. Absolutely delicious!!!

Stopped by a few times since my boyfriend has a major sweet tooth. It was very very nice how they come out hot. Love that feature. The staff is very nice and every time I come they are all super cool and helpful. Usually always a line. For me personally, I don't know if it's my favorite cookie place but I certainly love the hours and the size of the cookies are very generous

It's a nice late-night snack, especially if you are up studying. Try the double chocolate

The cookies are pretty decent. This is probably my second favorite cookie spot in San Diego so far but holy cow, the staff is some of the WORST I've ever experienced and, honestly so poor that I'm considering not going back. We went in and the place was completely empty and the worker acted like I was inconveniencing her by being there. She was gruff/rough even with the POS machine. I was in a great mood and excited to have cookies so whatever set her off happened before we arrived. She was downright rude for no reason. My entire group took up less than 5 minutes of time getting our cookies. It was so bizarre how horrible she was for no reason. Maya's cookies are better AND their wait staff is super sweet. Recommend them over Insomnia if you have the option. I really want to take more stars off because of her but I'm going there for the product not a sit-down-meal so I don't think it's warranted.

Needed a sweet treat after a concert, so I stopped at Insomnia. I expected to be hit with the sweet smell of baked goods when I opened the door (like other cookie spots), but didn't get that. Also, there was no clear direction as to who was in line and who had already ordered, but we figured it out. The cookie selection could've been better, but 2 out of 3 of my cookies were yummy. I ordered a snickerdoodle, a chocolate chip, and an oatmeal/choc chip/walnut cookie. I would've loved a regular choc chip with pecans or walnuts, but they didn't have one on the menu. Nonetheless, both the chocolate chip and the Oatmeal/choc chip were yummy. The snickerdoodle left lots to be desired.

This is the best location in town! I tried to go to the one on Edgewood and I was extremely disappointed. They didn't even have Gluten-Free chocolate chip cookies. So I waited and I received an email about how 12 cookies were usually like $26 + delivery fees was going for $20 u til January 1st! I ordered today and they were ready in 30 minutes! And they were warm and smelled so, so good! I love this store! I have food allergies and I can satisfy my cravings without any problems!

Perfect place to fulfill your cookie needs! Service is fast and friendly. Nice and clean location where you can see the cookies being made. Parking is not the best but you can get in and out.

My God sister and I came here after the jazz festival one night. Luckily the line was not very long when we arrived. The ambiance was amazing because you could smell the warm cookies right when you walked in! I ordered a cookie wich which is basically an ice cream sandwich. Unfortunately I wanted vanilla ice cream but they were out... I'm still confused how you can be out of vanilla ice cream, but the butter pecan was a great backup. The worker who made my meal handed me the place with only one cookie on it. I had to ask him to put the other cookie on top. There needs to be a better system and the workers need to be educated on the items in the menu. Besides the service and lack of options the food was amazing! The warm cookie on top of the ice ream was everything I needed and more!

Insomnia cookies are my favorite cookies. I don't think there's a better cookie place. They are pretty expensive (you can get a dozen for $22), but it's worth it every now and then. I would give insomnia 5 stars, but sometimes this location is slow or out of certain cookies. However it is still definitely worth a visit for warm and delicious cookies.

The worker on the phone was RUDE and condescending. Not asking for a 5-star service track record from a cookie store, but the tone and lack of manner from customer service left a bad taste. I just wanted to make sure my order would be delivered properly. Would not recommend. And to the worker, please quit your job if you're that unhappy no need to spread such negativity.

Insomnia! Next time you guys run out of what the customer ordered on Uber Eats, cancel the order. Don't keep my money and give me Shit I didn't want. Okay? And, y'all put a little too much chocolate in them damn chunk cookies. It's too rich! Do better. Oh and serve vegan milk options if you got vegan cookies!Duuuh!!!

I've ordered cookies for delivery from here several times. They always come quickly and fresh. I recently came to pick up cookies. Parking can be hard probably during peak hours (I got lucky). I don't have any complaints. The cookies are warm, fresh, and delicious. The customer service I had recently was great, and my problem (my fault) was fixed immediately. Some of the best cookies I've had ITP.

I will say the star rating is strictly based on the service experience at this location off of multiple experiences. The cookies are always high quality and delicious,but the service is always pretty lackluster. Often times they aren't the friendliest and can be slow at taking orders. Sometimes they may even forget cookies or add to many (hope you get lucky), but overall they just tend to not care too much or be timely about preparing things.

I don't get what the hype is all about. I waited over 30 minutes for some generic cookies that were warmed up/baked. There is nothing special about them that justifies their price, I didn't even eat mine. Honestly, they sat on my counter for a few days and then went to the trash. You're better off just buying cookie dough form the store and making your own. Even better, look up a recipe and make them from scratch. It's easier than you think.

After reading the name of the store I thought it may contain melatonin to help me sleep.. lol. It's actually called insomnia cookies because they're open late when you want a late night snack or have the munchies. The staff is so pleasant and nice and the cookies are delicioso.!

Amazing late night snack. Sooo scrumptious! Don't tell my nutritionist though. Whenever they bring these into my office my eyes get this BIG! Good to the last bite.

Just died! Warm cookies with so many options. We had the vegan birthday cookie sandwich and it was fantastic. The server was so kind and accommodating to me and my little ones.

This place was recommended to me but I was very underwhelmed. It was a typical chocolate chip cookie, nothing special.

The cookies are great. My wife and I got it on our student orientation trip with our son. However, when she ordered them to be delivered to his dorm at 2 pm one Saturday last fall they got delivered at 2 am. He couldn't find them the next day. She called, a young lady apologized and said they would re-deliver at the correct time. Again, they delivered in the middle of the night. Good for stoners I guess but my son is not one. The second time, they ghosted us. Would not call back. Never got our cookies or our $40-something dollars. One thing: this business is aptly named.

After listening to some Jazz down the street my tummy softly demanded a little pick me up. As I gazed down the street I saw a light calling my name. Insomnia cookies it whispered I've never heard of this place so I'd like to ask that this establishment quickly come to Arizona so I may indulge until my heart and tummy are both full. Masks are required and they don't allow more than 5 people at a time Now while the service was less than desirable the cookies compensated for all of that and more Because I've never heard of this place I wanted to ensure I took a bite of almost every cookie they had on the menu $50 later I am so glad I made that choice. Every single cookie was divine. Every single cookie made me do a happy dance in the streets of Atlanta. I skipped to my car carrying boxes of deliciousness. I didn't care who saw me... I was happy and joyful at midnight

updating my review: my friends and i were craving insomnia at 2am on a friday night (halloweekend). it was cold outside so we ordered online. we ordered around 2:05am and it said the earliest pick up time was 2:45am. it seemed like pretty long of a wait time but we were glad at least we didn't have to wait in line in the cold. we ordered a dozen of a variety of cookies. i ordered the double chocolate chunk and snickerdoodle. when we opened the box, we saw that they got our order wrong :( we ordered 4 double chocolate chunk but instead for regular chocolate chip. it still tasted fine but we were really looking forward to the chocolate chunk lol. the receipt was also on the front of the box so i am not sure how they got 4+ cookies wrong.

Good fresh baked cookies, the staff was quick when I went to pick up my pre order. Will be returning

My son and I were wondering this area looking for things to do while my husband and other son were touring the Georgia Tech campus. We stumbled upon Insomnia Cookies. It was mid afternoon and the perfect time for a little snack. We ordered a variety of cookies, pumpkin spice, salted caramel and mini chocolate chips. My son for some reason wanted ice cream. It was standard ice cream, like Blue Bell or similar, I don't remember. All I know is when I saw the receipt I was actually shocked how pricey the ice cream was. The cookies were amazing! I'd definitely go back there for the cookies but not the ice cream.

These cookies are super tasty. I had the bigwich sandwhich which had two cookies with icing in the middle. You can choose which cookies they use and even select a different cookie for each side. I chose chocolate chunk and m&m cookies for mine. Both were tasty and soft. I'd definitely order this again...or if I'm really feeling fat I'd order the mini cookie cake so I can get more icing...& yes it'd be for myself lol. The staff is also nice and it's great that this place is still open during this time. You can place your order there or online for pickup or delivery.

Great tasting cookies and brownies. They last over a week in the fridge. The service at the shop was great too!

I love insomnia cookies! But I was so disappointed with them today! I ordered online, picked them up within 15 minutes. I was so excited because street parking out front was free (since it was Sunday). The young man behind the counter even gave me a free Snickerdoodle cookie! I was so excited because despite always recommending Insomnia, I hadn't had it in over a year. I opened the box only to discover that not only was my order incorrect but it was alsoooo MISSING a cookie. I paid $20 for a box of disappointment.

This location is in Midtown, so of course parking is terrible at night. No parking lot, there is street parking in front of the building if you're lucky. There was a line when we arrived but it moved fairly quickly. There's not really any seating. The bakery has a short counter to the right with about 3 or 4 bar stools, so just plan on taking your order to go. The cookies were warm, but nothing really impressive about them. Definitely not worth the $10.00 for a 6-count variety box. It's a good option though if you're looking for a late night snack to curb your sweet tooth. Or you could just go to Publix and get a roll of Toll House cookies and fair just as well. You'd save a few coins too!!

This is the only place that sells warm baked cookies and is open till midnight in Atl. However, dine in is still not allowed but you can still enjoy these warm cookies by ordering them online or in person. They only let in 2 customers at a time so it's safe to go in there. I got my absolute favorite- chocolate chip cookie and triple chocolate ice cream! Cookies- $1.75 Small scoop- $4.50

If I could give less than one star I would. The store that shipped my order is 3 hrs away. It took 6 days. It went through three states. And when I finally got the birthday cookie "cake" it looked like someone played soccer with it. The cream cheese icing has been warm for days and is now inedible. This is the worst experience I've ever had order any type of food from anywhere. Do NOT order anything from this hack shop.

I love these damn cookies. The people with bad experiences are the ones who don't know when to come. I only come late at night when I know who's baking the cookies. I've always had a great experience. The damn cookie brought someone in my life I will be forever grateful for. The service is always fast because I order online and pick up Vs waiting in line with hella people. Their online ordering is top tier. Crumble cookies could NEVER !! 10/10 highly recommend.

From start to finish the experience was great! The sales person behind the counter was friendly and helpful! The salesperson assisted me with making selections and patiently waited for me to make choices and additions. As an added bonus, the cookies are AWESOME!!!

How can a place that delivers fresh baked cookies not get five stars??? Had a hankering for some sweets and pulled up the app, ordered the cookies a convenient 6 pack (2 double chocolate, 2 chocolate chunk and 2 oatmeal raisin)... Then I noticed they have ice cream too, hey why not?? Moose tracks sounded like it was right up my flavor alley... and it did not disappoint... So when I ordered I accidentally ordered the cookies first and didn't order the ice cream (hey I was really excited). Well i ended up with two orders which were delivered separately, apparently they have several delivery people and within minutes of each other I was diving into cookies and ice cream!!! Except for my error the whole process was smooth!!! The cost is a little high, but the convenience is priceless in my opinion!!! Cookies were about $13.00 including delivery and tip and ice cream was about the same... I will be do this again, but not every night!!! Way to go Insomnia Cookies, #geniusconcept

This is one of the best places to grab a warm gooey cookie. I mean where else can you get a warm cookie at 3am‼ on top of that these cookies just taste so freaking good. I love that chocolate peanut butter deluxe cookie, because it's warm with big chunks of Reese's peanut butter cups. You can't go wrong with a visit to this amazing spot‼

I just had the best ice cream sandwich ever here. The cookies were so warm as if they were fresh out the oven and the cookies and cream ice cream was a great mix then the traditional vanilla ice cream. I got the sugar cookie and the chocolate chip cookie as the 2 cookies for my sandwich. I ended up getting the BOGO special and didn't realize it til afterwards which was a nice treat to see once we got to the car. They have a great variety of cookies and ice cream to choose from and also a few beverages as well. You can also get since cookies and large cookie cakes. The staff were friendly but expect long lines and potentially a long wait due to limited ppl allowed at a time inside. Open late as well for great late night snacks and delivery.

Was craving a late night sweet treat after seeing lights in the city. Decided to stop in since it was only a few miles away. Order half a dozen cookies which came warmed in a pizza box. They were pretty good, but did not taste like they were freshly baked. There was a decent variety of cookies to choose from, it was nice to have options. You have to park on the street, but the perk is that if you show up after 10..parking is free. They are also open until 3 am and do deliver these sweet treats for those of us who don't want to get up off the couch late at night, but still need to satisfy their sweet tooth.

I know you hate to see a one star review on such a highly rated place, but allow me to help you before you waste your time and money. Yesterday I came here because I wanted to try a new dessert for my birthday. This was my first time coming here and I had heard about the place a few times. So for starters when I was ordering I noticed the topping price said $1 on the menu but she rung it up as $2. When I asked her about it she said that the toppings were $1 until I told her that I can see it on the screen, and it'd actually $2. I'm not sure why the $1 toppings are advertised on the menu. So boom I order my deluxe 'wich, ice cream Sandwhich. One thing I noticed was the cookies were hard to the point I couldn't use my plastic ware on it. By the time I got back to my parking spot, the blue monster ice cream was leaking all over our clothes and just made a huge mess. Yes I know it is ice cream, but as someone who knows how ice cream works, I would probably have served the ice cream in something that wasn't a folded cardboard box with cracks In it. If I had to serve my ice cream in cardboard, I'd probably try to serve a little harder ice cream.. I don't know. My ice cream was super soft and melted within five minutes. Before I pulled off I had to throw away two ice cream sandwiched that I paid $20 for, with a completely ruined experience. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt because I didn't want it to ruin my night, but the cookies and ice cream were mid at best. I wouldn't spend my money on this place unless you just want to pay $10 for a picture for you to post really quick. Even then, my video wasn't jaw dropping.

The cookies are kind of pricey but are gooood. I took advantage of their promo 12 traditional cookies for $12. It was a great deal and worth it IMO. However, my favorites here are the deluxe cookies ($3.50?). They were so soft and warm and the flavor I got was delicious! I will be trying more soon.

First time at this location. They did move pretty fast to get orders out(they gave me the wrong order but when I went back to it get corrected they told me to keep the incorrect order and gave me my correct order with no issue) which I thought was very nice. It was about 12-1ish in the morning, and they were busy!! They do have an on site police officer there, soo we felt more at ease going to this location.

I didn't even know we had an Insomnia here in Atlanta! I was so happy to stumble upon the location in midtown. I ordered a simple sugar cookie and a chocolate chip cookie! The cookies were super fresh, soft and warm! Perfect consistency and the right amount of chocolate chip gooeyness! I will definitely revisit Insomnia, sooner than later!

This insomnia has lost its mind. Upon entering I was told that I needed to wear a mask to order. I noticed that neither the employee who asked me to put on a mask or the employees behind the counter were wearing one and pointed this out. The employees tried to tell me that they did not have to wear a mask but that I did. As the people who are touching and making my food that is absolutely ridiculous. Either remove your mask mandate or wear a mask yourself.

I am a cookie fanatic! I've loved cookies as far back as I can remember. So the idea of having cookies you can get and even get delivered until 3am is just a brilliant idea! Let's talk about location. The first location I've had one was in Birmingham about a year or so ago. It made such an impression I wished they had it in Atlanta. Fast forward I discovered they did! Living down town I'm starting to venture out and find so many things I enjoy - great cookies is one. For this location - peachtree it was perfect. They have on street parking but I can see it being difficult to get into or find because of it being such a busy street. Atmosphere. Looked very similar to the location in Birmingham. It had the ice cream options and the great cookies you come to love. Service: the cashier/ rep was nice. He wasn't over the top but service was good. Cookies: cookies were soft and almost perfect in bite. The only down fall was the flavor which is why I gave it the 4 stars. I remember them tasting better. I was in a totally different state but still I remember they were really good. And the ice cream just tasted like the general store brand ice cream. Nothing spectacular. I Wasn't the most impressed this time unfortunately with the chocolate chip cookies. Overall I'm still going to go back because the sugar cookies were awesome.

When I was a student at James Madison University, there was a business called Campus Cookies. Essentially, it was a food delivery service that delivered freshly baked cookies on-campus to students through the late night hours, whether it was for a student that was pulling an all-nighter, and needed a sugar fix to get through it, or a drunk student that was well, you know, hungry for something. Insomnia Cookies brings the exact same service, but with a different name. This brand however, has expanded all over the country, not just to one location. The deals are the same, and the cookies are still delicious. They have that fresh out of the oven texture and taste, and you can get a glass of milk to wash them down with. My friend and I got ourselves 5 cookies and milk. It worked well. There are other deals where you can order more cookies and really pig out, but for what we did it worked just fine. I noticed that they have additional locations in Washington, DC, but the fact I finally got to try it out here in Atlanta, I was happy to have accomplished. What is even better is that the cookies still stayed hot from our twenty minute walk from the cookie bakery to our hotel in Midtown! Yes, it is a little expensive, but there is no price on a decadent indulgence, except for maybe a slight gut later - but even that can be worked off if you do it right. In other words, go ahead and enjoy some warm cookies with milk here!

i really dont know why I keep trying with this location. this review is for the service, not the cookies. the service is awful. extremely slow. each and every time I order from here, the delivery time is nearly double what they promise. $40 for 6 cookies and icecream. they can at least be on time. never again.

Worse place ever!! I ordered DoorDash cookies and didn't even get a refund and never got my ordered!! Place sucks for customers service and never answer any calls !! I recommend you getting cookies at crumbl cookies!
