First off, make sure you pay attention to the negative comments, especially about delivery.
Update* Betwen going back and forth with customer service and staff about my order, i eventually contacted Doordash as they stated they had a confirmed driver. I wanted to be sure. Well, that wasn't entirely true. I HAD a driver. Apparently they couldn't find the place and so they left which is why my time kept getting pushed back. So they offered me 2 options another driver or cancel. It's already been over 2 hours, I told Doordash customer service to cancel it. I no longer wanted it. They said they'll contact the store and cancel everything. I trusted that they would. Well, 30 mins later, I get a text stating a Dasher was on their way. I immediately called Doordash customer service back, by time I explained everything with a different person on the phone and they're trying to get ahold of the store 2x, no answer. Maybe 15 mins? There was a knock. Driver delivered the order and left it on the porch. I was PISSED!!!! We came to the conclusion the person before her probably tried to call and was unsuccessful. Instead of communicating that with me, they left the order active. At that point, 3 hours later!!!!! Grabbed the box, sure it (the box) was was warm but the cookies were a rock. There was maybe 3 cookies out of a dozen (brownies included in the bunch) that were still soft in the middle -not the whole cookie just the middle. It went in the trash. Waste of money, down the drain. I'd never order here ever again. You've been warned. Maybe directly through Doordash but directly through Insomnia Cookies, TRASH! Still zero stars if I could.
If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered a dozen but never received it so I can't even speak about the cookies. This is solely based on service. I wish I would've read the reviews before placing my order. Could've saved me the headache of waiting 2 hours!!!! I don't know what kind of business they're doing with Doordash but it's not working. I don't even know why they have the option to deliver. Save everyone the trouble and just make it pick up online oders only.
Ordered about 4:45p said roughly 5:10-5:20 for delivery. I called the store after an hour but what should've been about 30mins. I started doing stuff in the house and got distracted. Looked at the time and it was actually a bit past an hour when I called. They said it was assigned to Doordash, just waiting for the driver to pick it up. As I'm watching the time continue to get pushed back. Waited 15mins and called again, this time a guy who already knew it was me stated, the driver has been confirmed and on the way. So I waited 15 more minutes and continue to watch the time move back. Decided to call Doordash and see the status. Was told it was assigned and they were gonna call the Dasher to see what's going on. The lady then tells me the driver got lost and decided not to go back. I could either wait for a new driver or refund. I said, it's already been over 2 hours, I want a refund. That was damn near at 7:30p. Never will I EVER EVER EVER order from this place again. Terrible.
