Insomnia Cookies

My first time at Insomnia Cookies! The staff was super friendly and helpful. My phone was not working correctly to pay for my order and the staff was very patient and understanding. I’ll definitely return and recommend this store to others! What started out as a frustrating situation due to my payment being declined turned into a good experience because of the sale associate’s kindness.

First off, make sure you pay attention to the negative comments, especially about delivery. Update* Betwen going back and forth with customer service and staff about my order, i eventually contacted Doordash as they stated they had a confirmed driver. I wanted to be sure. Well, that wasn't entirely true. I HAD a driver. Apparently they couldn't find the place and so they left which is why my time kept getting pushed back. So they offered me 2 options another driver or cancel. It's already been over 2 hours, I told Doordash customer service to cancel it. I no longer wanted it. They said they'll contact the store and cancel everything. I trusted that they would. Well, 30 mins later, I get a text stating a Dasher was on their way. I immediately called Doordash customer service back, by time I explained everything with a different person on the phone and they're trying to get ahold of the store 2x, no answer. Maybe 15 mins? There was a knock. Driver delivered the order and left it on the porch. I was PISSED!!!! We came to the conclusion the person before her probably tried to call and was unsuccessful. Instead of communicating that with me, they left the order active. At that point, 3 hours later!!!!! Grabbed the box, sure it (the box) was was warm but the cookies were a rock. There was maybe 3 cookies out of a dozen (brownies included in the bunch) that were still soft in the middle -not the whole cookie just the middle. It went in the trash. Waste of money, down the drain. I'd never order here ever again. You've been warned. Maybe directly through Doordash but directly through Insomnia Cookies, TRASH! Still zero stars if I could. If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered a dozen but never received it so I can't even speak about the cookies. This is solely based on service. I wish I would've read the reviews before placing my order. Could've saved me the headache of waiting 2 hours!!!! I don't know what kind of business they're doing with Doordash but it's not working. I don't even know why they have the option to deliver. Save everyone the trouble and just make it pick up online oders only. Ordered about 4:45p said roughly 5:10-5:20 for delivery. I called the store after an hour but what should've been about 30mins. I started doing stuff in the house and got distracted. Looked at the time and it was actually a bit past an hour when I called. They said it was assigned to Doordash, just waiting for the driver to pick it up. As I'm watching the time continue to get pushed back. Waited 15mins and called again, this time a guy who already knew it was me stated, the driver has been confirmed and on the way. So I waited 15 more minutes and continue to watch the time move back. Decided to call Doordash and see the status. Was told it was assigned and they were gonna call the Dasher to see what's going on. The lady then tells me the driver got lost and decided not to go back. I could either wait for a new driver or refund. I said, it's already been over 2 hours, I want a refund. That was damn near at 7:30p. Never will I EVER EVER EVER order from this place again. Terrible.

The driver provided our order in a timely manner. However, the product was less than satisfactory. These cookies were for our office party, and I raved about Insomnia cookies and how they were going to win the cookie contest. Imagine my surprise when these hard, thick, dry cookies came to my office. I was very embarrassed, and those that had Insomnia agreed. Those who had not, were disappointed as they did not live up to the hype I provided. Please do better in the future.

The deluxe cookies $3.25 each are huge! the classic $1.75 is standard size like a store bought cookie pack. As advertised cookies come out of a warmer however cool down very quickly. At 11pm on monday night there was very little wait even with the store being short staffed. The staff very friendly and welcoming to new customers.

These are some pretty good cookies. So for the deluxe cookies.. I think their Confetti is by far the best confetti cookie I’ve ever had. The s’mores was really good as well the graham cracker inside was amazing. The classics were good I didn’t think they stood out as much as the deluxe cookies. But still really good cookies. I will definitely return!

Ordered my cookie cake at 11 am to be ready by 7 for pick up. Went to get it at 7 and was told it’s gonna be ten more minutes and then ended up waiting about 20 minutes from this point and still waiting on it to be done. I finally got it 30 mins after it was supposed to be done and was told the happy birthday box I paid extra for isn’t a thing anymore even tho they were on display in the store

Went here on a late night after a date at Ruth Chris. Cookies were given to us right after ordering, was very fresh. Oatmeal raisin, confetti, salted caramel, peanut butter cup. Oatmeal raisin is not a deluxe cookie so that’s why it’s so small.

Had a great experience with Na ‘ imah. She showed care and attention to detail in what she was doing. She gave me an awesome experience for my first time at Insomnia. Will definitely come back! Cookies were warm and delicious too.

I am not a cookie lover. More on cupcakes for me, however this place is soooo good! Their cookies are always freshly baked and they are super soft! This is our second time coming here and they don't seem to disappoint. We ordered the M&Ms, peanut butter chip, chocolate chunk and snickerdoodle. When we got home, we heated it up for 10 seconds and it still held that goodness. You can order online and noticed you can have them delivered (door dash). Love this place so much!

Needed dessert, but not everyone wanted ice cream. Cookies were mentioned, so....... Here we are!! Great choice. Folks behind the counter were friendly and helpful. Everyone got a fresh cookie, but I opted for a cookie'wich. Two scoops of peanut butter insomnia tracks between two fresh chocolate chip cookies. Whoa!! So good! My wife got a macadamia nut cookie. Loved it! My daughter got a chocolate chip cookie. She loved it! If you're looking for a dessert just a bit different, this is the place. (No pics, I ate too fast!! Ha!)

We had cookies delivered last night and they were delicious! We all had a sweet tooth that was cured plus some. The cookies were gooey and buttery. I loved the snickerdoodle and chocolate chip. The peanut butter wasn't great though (and I normally love peanut butter cookies).

Saw an advertisement for the new vegan sweet potato pie cookie. Overall, it was pretty good. I don't think it will be around for a long time as I believe it's a seasonal option only. It has some marshmallow type flavor which added a nice touch to the cookie.

Very good peanut butter cookie. So good that I wish I had another. I don't think it was the revel wine talking, this cookie was good.

I'm giving this a 4 star review simply because the Vegan, Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie is actually pretty good, and it's hard to find GF cookies that are not stiff and crumbly. The deluxe cookies should also get 4 stars, but the classic cookies only 3 stars. They're okay, but nothing to rave about. I was the only person in the store, so I was served quickly and had my cookies ready to go within a few minutes. The workers were hanging out front chatting when I got there, but they came in once I arrived. I went in the mid afternoon during work, so that might be why it wasn't busy. I'll be back for the GF cookie! And maybe grab a deluxe if I feel like spending $3+.

So we were out last night in Cincinnati & wanted to grab cookies on the way back home. We stop at the OTR location and Immediately notice there is only one worker. Tons of people in the store. We got to the front to place our order & got to meet Dominique. She was AWESOME. We asked if she was the only one which she was. She took great care of us, was super nice and accommodating. went above & beyond for us. Please get this woman raise & make her day corporate. Seriously. Wont ask again lol. She was unfazed and handled the situation like a boss. Made sure we got the cookies we wanted and again, Was there handling a late night rush by herself. That woman is a boss & a gem. Dont lose her.

Big mixup (wrong product and gift message) in my expensive delivered item from this store. What was delivered looked & sounded absolutely ridiculous. (why would I say " I was told to bring dessert" to a woman who was hit by a car?! ). Customer service was awful in response, and lack of company follow-up shows they do not care about customer concerns. I recommend taking your business somewhere that cares about you as a customer.

The best cookie sandwiches. But cashier got some cookie dough stuck up his ass.. got a attitude for no reason at this location... and got no customer service skils... Other than that my sandwich was BOMB Been to other locations great taste and service. Except here...

My go to when I need my chocolate fix at any hour of the day! Will always find an insomnia location because when the chocolate fever hits, you don't have much time!

Speedy service and deliciously warm cookies. We stopped here after visiting the arcade next door. Although this is a small store the cookies are still good. They were falling apart as we held them and ate them, I wish they would have stayed together more.

Cookies were cold & old. Disappointed. Had insomnia from CLE & BUF and they were hot and delicious.

Excellent rich and very flavorful cookies that are great warmed or just as is. My favorite is white chocolate macadamia. These cookies are individually wrapped and it's easy to freeze them without losing their freshness. Highly recommend and many flavors to chose from!

THIS LOCATION IS THE WORSE THEY DONT TAKE CASH ! The cookies were not soft but burned on the bottom ... the ice cream sandwich for 6.00 was worth 2 dollars at best ! Please please don't waste your money here !!!! This is to expensive for just cookies that up in Clifton use to be really great !

Vegan and gluten free options are actually really good! And most cookies are served to you WARM! Highly recommend.

Kayla (who was covering from Lexington) was fabulous! She was kind, gracious and a FANTASTIC WORKER! Insomnia needs more Kayla's!

We tried their vegan cookies (bday cake, double chocolate chip and reg choc chip) and they were delicious!

Love this place and the staff is always very nice to me and my friends, but be warned of the homeless man. When you go into the store-- nothing is wrong. U get ur cookies, eat them, have a nice time. U walk out and BAM-- there he is. He will tell u he is hungry, but when u offer him cookies and milk, he will refuse and say he wants a pizza, so therefore u have to give him money. I don't carry cash on me so I don't have anything to give him, but he almost attacked my friend once when he went to take some cash out of the atm. The people at the bar saved us and distracted him, but he followed us halfway back to where we were parked. Yummy cookies, scary guy.

I thought the concept was late night cookies - not here. If you want late night cookies you might as well make them yourself at home. This is try number two here. The last two visits we have waited at least 20 minutes because "they don't have the flavor you want" ready. Tonight was the last chance we ordered two peanut butter and two white chocolate macadamia and we had to wait 10 minutes which turned into 20 then when we left and checked the bag we didn't get our full order. While waiting we watched tons of people leave because they would have to wait. I think this location needs a visit from corporate.

Stopped by for a single cookie on 1:30 on a Friday to find the shop apparently abandoned? Wth?

This is a great place for cookies. This store is understaffed and orders are delayed. But the young woman running the store all by herself worked her ass off to complete in person and online orders. Recommend the management decentralize ordering capacity(turn online ordering on or off) at the site level. This young woman did her very best and was very polite with some frustrated customers.

Waited for over an hour and finally cancelled delivery order. Called Grub Hub (their delivery service. They refunded the money but very disappointing

Ordered cookies from the insomnia website. Delivery driver drove circles around our block, stopped in front of a house down our block, never got out of the car, marked the order delivered and drove off. Still sitting on hold for support.
