A Soju-Real Good Time
If you're looking for K-pop idols, glittery stage lights, or the next BTS sighting, keep walking. But if you're into sizzling seafood pancakes, crispy wings, and discovering that soju and beer are secretly soulmates? Welcome to Inssa Korean Gastropub.
First off, the seafood pancake. Absolute legend. Golden, crispy, chewy in all the right places, and packed with enough oceanic goodness to make a mermaid cry. I'd come back just for that--and I probably will.
Now, the chicken wings. They came out looking like supermodels--perfectly fried, glistening with promise. But one bite and... plot twist: they were kind of bland. Like that friend who looks great in photos but can't tell a story to save their life. Still, decent for soaking up alcohol and broken dreams.
Speaking of which: soju and beer. Who knew this combo was the Bonnie and Clyde of Korean drinking culture? Sweet, fizzy, and dangerously easy to keep drinking until you start singing karaoke to strangers who did not ask for that.
Inssa is loud, lively, and gloriously unfancy. The kind of place where you leave full, slightly tipsy, and wondering how many seafood pancakes you can reasonably eat in one sitting. (Answer: more than you think.)
Go for the food, stay for the vibes, and skip the wings unless your taste buds are into minimalist storytelling.
