Seppe and his team of instroom-trainees combine his cuisine genius with far-away culinary inputs to bring an extraordinary experience in a very basic setting. Good? No, very good overall experience. Thanks Seppe! Next time we'll bring you a load of garden-grown Mediterranean herbs! We visited Samenloop today, it was very good, relax, enjoyable and culturally enriching. Very nice initiative!

What an incredible experience we had! We thought we must be in the wrong place when the taxi dropped us off outside a rambling old art college. We wandered through a courtyard into the school, and finally found a check- in area where we were greeted with smiles, a lovely aperitif of sparkling wine and rose water, and a few divine canapés. Eventually we were led down another hall and seated in what looks like a dolled up school cafeteria, which it probably is. Here we were served a cold soup, then a fish dish with a glorious baked potato topped with unusual flavours and textures. We finished with a lovely dessert. Everything here is served with heart, from a team of immigrant trainees who try very hard, and succeed at winning your heart. A note- very little English was spoken, but we didn’t care- smiles and an appetite are all that’s needed for a beautiful, unique and heart-warming evening you’ll remember forever. Bravo team Instroom!

Very good food and great value for money.

The food was perfectly curated and the atmosphere marvellous. The concept is unique in its enabling of migrants to integrate in society and local culture.

Did lunch at Mutsaardstraat Academy of Fine Arts. As a welcome a ginger ccktail and some amuses , then 3 very well balanced, subtle dishes. Starter a lentil soep with a coquille st Jacques, home made chorizo and sour onions, well balanced. Main pheasant with pasta smoothies, crunchies and foams - delicious. Dessert lavendel-ice and something toffy-like - interesting. As this is a trainingschool for fugees too, charming waiters with language skills in development. They serve a great meal. Acoustics of dining room could be better, but cool ambiance.
