I had a fantastic experience at the InterContinental Geneva. The breakfast was truly excellent, with a wide and delicious selection that catered to all tastes. The gym was impressive—spacious with a great range of equipment, making it easy to maintain my fitness routine during my stay. The location is perfect, offering breathtaking views of the lake that added to the overall charm of the hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful, professional, and attentive, making me feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout my visit. I highly recommend the InterContinental Geneva to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay with excellent amenities and a stunning setting. I will definitely return!

My family enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Intercontinental Geneva. The hotel has a lot of history being located so close to the Palais des Nations. The lobby is grand and the rooms are comfortable. We appreciated the air conditioning as it was hot during our visit. All of the staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Michelle at the front desk, Emma the concierge and Sarah at the Woods restaurant were all wonderful! The breakfast buffet was one of the best we have ever had in all of our travels in Europe. Our stay included city bus passes and it was easy to take the bus from the Intercontinental bus stop to get to other parts of Geneva. Highly recommend this hotel!

I had a truly wonderful stay at the InterContinental Geneva. From start to finish, everything was perfect. The hotel itself is elegant, impeccably maintained, and offers all the comfort you would expect from a world-class establishment. But what truly made the difference was the incredible staff and the attention to detail. A special mention goes to Sarah, who works at breakfast. She is incredibly kind, gentle, attentive, and warm. Every morning she greeted us with a smile and remembered exactly what we liked to have—an impressive touch that made us feel genuinely cared for. She's a true gem, a 10 out of 10 person. Equally exceptional is Victoria, whose friendly and welcoming manner also made us feel completely at home. Both Sarah and Victoria have a rare gift for hospitality that transforms a great stay into an unforgettable one. Highly recommended. We will definitely return.

Had a long day with flight delays. Finally got to Hotel Intercontinental Geneve. Lea at the poolside bar was incredibly pleasant, personable and helpful. Even though it was close to closing time, she happily took our order and we had a very nice conversation with her. Great way to start our visit to Geneva. Thanks Lea. I’d also like to highlight Sarah in the Woods restaurant. What a wonderful, professional and sweet young lady. Her service was spectacular and her smile and personality made our breakfast experience a real treat. Merci to all.

Pretty hotel but dated and many flaws. The employees are fantastic and very friendly. I expected more from this hotel. The shower floods the bathroom because the water flows out, there is nothing to stop it. The mirror fogs up quickly there is no fan to stop the moisture. As a woman the room is not accommodating at all to get ready, no dressing table, the plugs are behind the side table in which that is the only place a mirror is located. The other plug in the living room is next to the TV with no mirror. Ask for extra pillows because they are flat. We were on a business trip but also enjoyed pool time. The pool is a good size and staff are around to help seat you, the poolside restaurant is supposed to be the Italian Restaurant as well, not many things on the menu mostly picky bits so not really an Italian restaurant. We did not eat in the hotel much, we went out most nights. There is lovely restaurant behind the hotel in walking distance, highly recommend the fondue. Its called Cafe Du Soleil. The pool staff were great the first few days after that they were a bit busier and not attentive at all. There seems a lack of organization. They all walk around and try to attend to people but forget what you asked for because they have not written it down and don't have sections to each wait on. They also let people in off the street so the pool gets very busy with outside people which is completely unacceptable. They hotel was sold out I would think they would want to take care of their guests but the more the merrier. So many times they missed our orders and twice in one day forgot orders including food. it took 1 hour and 30 minutes to get 2 starters. They also stopped serving water in ice bags. We asked several times but did not get answers. Too many outside people allowed in a booked hotel and bad service is enough to send us to another hotel. The room service is quick and used it several times after leaving the pool disappointed. The concierge service for reservations is great . The manager from the pool did come to speak to us finally on the last day but for us it was way too late. We would not return. Not sure they get how much this hotel needs addressing. We spoke to many others in our group that felt the same, our group alone had 150 rooms at least.

What an amazing stay! Travelled to Geneva for a conference, and added on some extra days. A very easy walk to transit making accessing the city centre very simple. On a nice evening, even walking back from the lake was simple if you are up to it (it took about 50 min). The Poolside was amazing, attentive service. Breakfast in the morning was also very good, with the same attentive service. Will definitely be back.

We had a great stay with our children. We wanted to recognize Lisa who was working at the pool bar. She was kind, gracious and very helpful in crafting us the perfect drinks. We enjoyed chatting with her and will say that she made our pool experience a very positive one.

I had a wonderful stay, made truly memorable by the exceptional service, especially from Paola. She was incredibly attentive and kindly upgraded me to her favourite room, a stunning suite with amazing views over the lake. All the staff were warm and welcoming, and a special mention goes to the lovely lady greeting guests at breakfast. Despite how busy it was, she handled everything with such efficiency and a big smile. I’d definitely return—outstanding service like this makes all the difference. Thank you, Paola and team!
