InterContinental Onethousand Island Lake Resort

Nice kid-friendly room with lake and lighthouse view! I was quite impressed by the spacious common area designed with good taste. The kids enjoyed feeding the ducks and fish, and also were very happy with the kid train and indoor playground. We enjoyed taking the 2-hour trip from the hotel pier to the scenic Huang Shan Jian as the first tourists in the morning to the island, avoiding the queue for cable cars and the crowds for the site-viewing. Shuttle bus is available between the railway station and the hotel and departs always on time. Thanks Ada for the good service during our stay!

This was our second stay at the hotel and it was just as nice as we remembered.  The staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel and rooms are very clean and there are lots of lovely views and relaxing activities to do.  The food at breakfast and at the evening buffet was delicious and we enjoyed National Day fireworks in the evening.  The outdoor pool was very clean and relaxing to use and the jacuzzi was very warm.  My daughter loves the play area and we had fun in the arcade.  We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautifully located hotel, with great views and access to Qiandaohu. Amazing service by Intercontinental Experience Ambassador Klein, who was able to help with any requests needed. Children loved the services available including electric cars, train, indoor play area.The only area I would say needs some improvement is food choices for children. Very limited choices for what they could eat.

SEXUAL HARASSMENT CASE (SHAME ON IHG)We have been sexually harassed and followed by a crossdresser who is a Golden IHG member in the hotel since the moment we checked in. He has been following us throughout the pool, our floor, and breakfast. We eventually brought this to the attention of the hotel's management, but they were unable to handle the situation professionally and referred to it as "Our Bad Luck."In order to verify that this was an occurrence that the hotel failed to adequately handle, the police had to look into the matter. The hotel's top management attempted to investigate the matter further and bribe us with presents in order to keep the problem from being brought to attention. One thing that came into our realisation is that if you’re not a member of IHG in this hotel you have no saying and the matter will be dealt not with IHG standard but the hotels own unprofessional standard.It’s unfortunate that a brand like InterContinental are managed by these irresponsible and unprofessional people. The resort barely has anything open so expect a half operated pool and no hot spring and special dining activities. Save your time and money and go for more family friendly resorts.

The chefs here truly know how to create culinary masterpieces that cater to a wide range of tastes. However, what truly made my stay unforgettable was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Everyone I encountered, from the front desk personnel to the housekeeping team, was friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure my comfort. But I must give a special shout-out to Jennie (夏欣蕾), the bartender at the hotel lounge. Jennie's service was nothing short of amazing. She greeted me with a warm smile every time I visited the lounge and made me feel right at home. Her knowledge of cocktails and mixology was impressive, and she was always able to recommend the perfect drink based on my preferences. Whether I was in the mood for a classic cocktail or something more adventurous, Jennie never failed to deliver. She not only prepared the drinks with precision and care but also took the time to engage in friendly conversations, sharing interesting stories and local insights. Her attention to detail and genuine concern for my satisfaction truly made a difference. In addition to her excellent bartending skills, Jennie's kindness and approachability were truly remarkable. She made me feel like a valued guest, and I always looked forward to seeing her at the lounge. Her positive attitude and dedication to her work are a true reflection of the high standards of service at the InterContinental Qiandao Lake Resort. Overall, my stay at the InterContinental Qiandao Lake Resort was an absolute delight. It's a place where luxury meets nature, and where guests are treated like royalty. While the remote location adds to the charm and tranquility, it’s worth noting that the hotel is a 40-minute drive from the nearest town. I recommend driving or stocking up on essentials beforehand. Overall, the value for money is incredible, especially for the stunning views and peaceful ambiance. I highly recommend this resort to travelers seeking a quiet and rejuvenating getaway.

One of the standout services offered by the resort was their in-house photography service. Knowing the area's natural beauty, I decided to book a session to capture memories of my stay. The photographer was incredibly talented and patient.The result was a collection of stunning photos that perfectly encapsulated the essence of my visit to the Thousand Islands.

The best luxury hotel in Qiandaohu lake , the staff are very kind and helpful, the room and whole hotel is very clean and the playground for children is very suitably . 100% recommend 🌹🌹
