I stayed one night at the InterContinental Seattle. The staff at check-in were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel looks modern and clean. However, the shower knob in my room was broken, which made it a bit inconvenient to use. The minibar system also mistakenly charged me for items I didn’t consume, which made check-out slower than expected. The gym was nice and the area felt safe, but there’s no pool, and the “scenic view” room turned out to face nearby rooftops. Overall, an average stay — not terrible, but not quite what I expected from an InterContinental.

My husband and I just spent a milestone anniversary at the InterContinental Hotel in Bellevue. The front desk agent, Badi, was friendly, efficient and informative. Our room was lovely, well appointed and had a nice city view. Within an hour of arriving the hotel delivered sparkling wine, chocolates and a note celebrating our occasion. We awoke refreshed and enjoyed the hotel’s brunch. All the staff were attentive and helpful. We look forward to a return stay!

I really enjoyed my stay at the InterContinental Bellevue. Since it’s a newer hotel, everything feels modern and fresh. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were super nice—they even gave me bottled water right away when I asked, which was a thoughtful touch. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had a very luxurious feel. Even though the hair dryer wasn’t Dyson, the one provided in the room was just as powerful and worked really well, which was a nice surprise. The location couldn’t be better if you’re staying in Bellevue; everything is central and convenient, and it’s an easy trip into Seattle too. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in the area. My only small complaint is that there isn’t a pool, which feels like it should be standard at a 5-star hotel, especially considering there’s also a nightly amenity fee. Overall though, a great experience and a place I’d happily recommend.

I recently hosted our board of directors meeting at Intercontinental Hotel - Bellevue, where they also stayed for the week, and I truly can’t say enough good things about the experience. From the moment they arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Every detail—from the meeting setup to the accommodations—was handled with exceptional professionalism and care. The food was outstanding throughout their stay. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or a creative watermelon breakfast cake, the quality, presentation, and variety exceeded our expectations. Many of our board members personally commented on how impressed they were. What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was the incredible service. A special thank you goes to Allison, who was instrumental in making this event a success. She was responsive, proactive, and always one step ahead. No matter how many questions I had (and there were a lot!), she answered each one with patience and a smile. I genuinely couldn’t have done it without her. If you’re planning a corporate event—or even just looking for a comfortable, luxury hotel—I highly recommend Intercontinental. They deliver excellence at every turn.

Stay was fine. Good hotel, clean, and new, which is all as expected. However more expensive and less amenities vs. nearby comparible hotels. However, do I want to stay here vs. the Hyatt Regency, Westin, or W? Likely Not due to spas, pools, and PARKING. Parking is the only thing i'm really complaining about because all the other hotels have FREE parking in the garages. That alone adds $65/night which is crazy since most in the area, including the mall, have free parking. Please make this free to match others just across the street! I like the hotel, but mostly because it's new. But again, nothing far superior to make me pay for parking plus the higher room rates.

One of the best stays I had. A very beautiful and well managed hotel. I usually find it very hard to sleep in hotels but slept like a baby here. The AC was silent. Appreciate all the details that hotels usually don’t have. A kettle was a nice surprise. The only thing that could be improved is bed, it was too soft.

I went somewhat out of my way to stay here as I like Intercontinental and was disappointed by Hilton's offerings on previous stays in Seattle. I used a points redemption and definitely was not disappointed. Everything was great, got an upgrade as platinum elite. Great new hotel. Digital room service ordering was appreciated.Just a warning to out-of-town visitors Bellevue has a lot of traffic on the weekends. Which Seattle does as well.

Google
The room was spotless when I arrived (sadly, not something you can always count on in big cities anymore, based on my past experiences), and the bathroom was huge—also very new! Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and the whole place just had a good, welcoming and clean vibe. The hotel’s about a 15-minute drive from the main downtown area, but the neighborhood itself is clean and pleasant. I’d happily come back.

Yelp
Located near Bellevue Square is the newly opened InterContinental Seattle Bellevue. With impeccable service that is top tier, from the beginning at valet to opening the door for you. Checking in was easy and my room was ready as I arrived late morning. Babi at the front was a rockstar, she gave recommendations, asked about my stay and flight, just comfortable and kind. She was great. Leanne at the concierge desk was helpful and sweet as well with local recommendations. The room I received was a corner view which was nice and the room was modern, great view and lighting. Bathroom was large and just overall so comfortable. Great 24/7 gym and a bar downstairs and a breakfast at Fresco on the 2nd floor.

Yelp
The staff and prompt service was amazing. I appreciated everything the staff did to make our stay on point. Our room was nice. The AC was not working properly. They sent maintenance to check it immediately. We were moved to another room, which was a suite. The only downside was we needed to queens and we were out in a king. The room amenities are up to par with the quality of the hotel. The tub came with a wash kit, soap, and a jar of lavender bath salts. The shower has a rain feature in it. While it is nice there is little water pressure. The hotel itself is beautiful. However, there is nothing to do within the hotel. The spa, fitness center and meeting rooms are located across. There is not a pool or a lounge nightlife. It is very very quiet.

Yelp
Yes, we are local, but we stayed at this hotel because there's no power for few days due to wind storm that hit our area. No power, no heat, so yeah, I can't stand it anymore. So we called the hotel just making sure they have power, I dont trust the online reservation because It didn't tell you they have power or not. We booked for 2nights, but we ended up only stayed for 1 night because our power came back on the next day at noon. Yay. Parking: Valet only. Yes, you have to pay. In and out privileged. We checked in the lobby. The lobby is quiet small for intercontinental we stayed at other states or country. It was kinda slow. We got a $20 dining credit that can be used for coffee but we didn't know till when we checked out. They didn't tell us. The room is very spacious, so does the bathroom. I can live here forever. Perfect view to street to see westin, nordstrom. Plenty of closets and some more closet in the bathroom too. Plenty of amenity to use. There's bar area for extra charge. I love love love the room.

Yelp
I travel for work. I'm a lifetime platinum with Marriott. I decided to go with this hotel as the conference I'm attending was here. Honestly, the boogiest hotel I've ever stayed in. I loved it. From the comfort of the room to the best part, their coffee bar, I've been won over!!! Time are also very quiet. I especially appreciate how the floor of the bed lights up when you get up in the middle of the night. I'll definitely be back!!!

Yelp
I had corporate training and conferences in Seattle and the company arranged our stay at this Kimpton Hotel. I have always had wonderful experiences with Kimpton. This is a lovely hotel with all the amenities I needed. The staff was friendly, the room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was quiet at night, and the maid service was excellent. I did enjoy a few meals at the restaurant during my stay and was very pleased. They have a good menu that includes healthy options. The hotel gym was very nice. The equipment was clean, and when I needed assistance with towels, someone was close by. I would stay at the InterContinental again. I loved Seattle so I may book a vacation sometime.

Yelp
We stayed at the Intercontinental Bellevue in August and had an amazing experience. The hotel is beautiful and the staff was friendly and very helpful with any questions we had. Even when we asked what kind of trees were outside the hotel! Leanne Larkin, Lead Concierge, was great with helping us print our cruise tags and hooking us up with a trip to the nearby JoMalone for a quick arm massage. We highly recommend choosing this hotel if you find yourself in Seattle!

Yelp
The check in desk and the valet staff were friendly, went above and beyond. The service was flawless, from unloading luggage, making sure that we had everything that we needed from our car. By the time we got checked in and went to the elevator to go to our room, we had an employee who let us in our room and had hung up the clothes and put out luggage in our room and held the room door open for us to enter. Very impressed with everything and I highly recommend!

Yelp
The InterContinental Bellevue is one of the newest offerings in the InterContinental hotel lineup- and my wife and I enjoyed a short points stay here last weekend. Located in a brand new building, the decor and furnishings are new new- we liked the king size bed, well appropriated bathroom (hello Byredo products!) and the room was situated in such a way where it was super quiet with little road noise. Service was also top notch and we appreciated the welcome as Platinum Elite members. The only minuses were the $65 valet fee (no self park option) and a rather small, albeit nicely updated front entrance area. As this place busies- I could see a jam of people form pretty quickly. Otherwise, not much else to say other than we enjoyed our stay here and would consider returning again!

Yelp
Nice new hotel. Good location. Was booked as a single into a double room, hotel was unable to fix. A word to the hotel - don't do that. It makes things way less comfortable. I was told our corporate booking agency did this - in the future - don't let them. I am less likely to visit this hotel because they asked what they could do to improve my stay and my only response was "put me in a single" which they said no to both times.

Yelp
Twice a year I'll stay in downtown Bellevue and visit a couple of my favorite restaurants. I stayed here in January 2025. Having stayed at other InterContinentals across the world, here are my thoughts: Pros: The hotel is new and is located in downtown Bellevue. There are many excellent restaurants within walking distance, as well as numerous places to shop. The room was very nicely decorated in a modern design. I immediately noticed a pleasant, clean smell in the room. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and had excellent water pressure. The heating/AC worked well. I like the room cool at night, but warm in the morning. No issues with it at all. The staff were all very kind, helpful and friendly. The person checking us in, Adriana, did so quickly and pointed out places to explore. The concierge, Leanne, was amazing! She had plenty of great restaurant tips, with a few discounts to offer. The manager Ali, who I spoke to on the phone, was very helpful and professional. The buffet breakfast overall was good. It did offer some options and was quite delicious. Now, the cons....I booked my stay in the InterContinental website. On the day of checking in, I noticed a special on their website. The special, which was about $120 MORE than I originally had booked, offered parking and breakfast for two. I called the hotel (the number listed on Google for the Bellevue location), but was routed to a call service in Asia. When I asked to make the change to take advantage of the offer on their website, I was told it was impossible. I was told the ONLY way to take advantage of the offer was to pay a cancellation fee on my initial booking and then rebook using the offer. Keep in mind, I was trying to give the hotel MORE money than I initially had booked. I ended the phone call quite frustrated. I called a second time, hoping to directly contact the hotel. I again reached a call center in Asia. Why they outsource their calls to Asia is beyond me. Other 4 star hotels in Bellevue, including the Hyatt and Westin, can easily be directly contacted. Same thing when I called the second time...they said making a change (ie spending more money) was not possible. I asked to speak to a manager. They put me in touch with someone in Bellevue, but the phone connection was terrible. There was a delay on the phone with an echo. I asked to speak to someone else. I was connected to a manager named Ali. She was very understanding and apologetic and told me the change could be made, without penalty. I asked her if she could book it for me, but she said it needed to be booked online. By this point, I was frustrated and ready to book at the Westin, which I'd stayed at a few times before. After getting off the phone with Ali, I decided to try and book the special offer online. I did without any complications. Ali did call me back a few minutes later saying she also could book it for me. Altogether, it took me 74 minutes to change this reservation. Had I simply been able to call the Bellevue location directly, it probably could have been done in 5 minutes. Outsourcing calls to Asia? Why? The hotel has no pool and no spa. The other comparable hotels in downtown offer those. This is the first InterContinental I've stayed at that did not have ANY high-end hotel amenities. The restaurant upstairs was only open for breakfast. Again, for a hotel of this caliber, the restaurant should have been open. They did have a small bar in the lobby (lobby area is very small), but seating is just a few feet away from the check in area, making it awkward to sit there and relax. When I booked the room, I upgraded to a King Premium View Room. Though the room was very nice, it had no view, except into the QFC parking lot across the street. At the nearby Hyatt and Westin, our rooms had great views of downtown. While the breakfast was good, for $45/person I expected more. Intercontinental locations I've been at in Dubai, Singapore and Beijing have baristas and an egg chef providing fresh omelets, etc, along with a much wider range of options.

Yelp
My husband and I just spent our 55th Anniversary at the Intercontinental in Bellevue. Our greeting by Badi at the front desk was warm, friendly and informative. The room was lovely, well appointed and had a nice view of the city. Within an hour of our arrival, sparkling wine, chocolates and a kind note were delivered celebrating our anniversary. We woke up refreshed and enjoyed the delicious buffet brunch. The checkout was friendly and seamless. We will repeat this retreat!

Yelp
Wow! I wish all hotel experiences were as wonderful as the Intercontinental Seattle Bellevue. Our check-in was flawless (and they gave us an early check-in!). The staff was so professional and gracious. We ordered in-room dining for breakfast the next day and it arrived precisely on time, and the poached eggs were perfect. My husbands omelette was delicious. Loved the room, very clean, smells wonderful, and all the spa like amenities. I was very impressed by the finishes and appointments -- everything in the room felt first-class. It's in a terrific location and you can walk to an array of restaurants and the shopping! Wow, right across the street from an amazing mall. The concierge, Leanne, was so helpful and kind. She took time to help us with our transportation and lunch recommendations. She also personally introduced us to the staff at Jo Malone who proceeded to enchant us with a hand and arm massage replete with Jo Malone products that we had chosen. It just felt really special. As someone who travels a lot for business, this was an unexpected treat. It felt like a vacation rather than a work trip!

Yelp
We had a very disappointing experience at the hotel. We booked a room at the last minute due to the power outage that we experienced with the bomb cyclone. We booked using our points rather then directly with the hotel. A day before checking, our power was turned on few days before we were expecting. I called the hotel and the travel company called the hotel and they would not budge about at least helping us rebook for a different day. We also brought a dog and there was no mention of the dog fee and there was an amenity fee although there is really no amenity at the hotel then a gym. We were eagerly anticipating the opening of the hotel but we were disappointed with our whole experience. In addition, the hotel does not have a big lobby or good food options. We ended up going across the street to another hotel for breakfast. All in all, it's a hotel with nice but small rooms. The accommodations and service can be better. We will not be returning.

Kitty K.

Yelp
First of all apologize my messy room etc . It's a brand new hotel ( w/ residential buildings next door) so it's a smaller sized property compared to other IC Hotels& Resorts I have stayed. Perhaps I have been spoiled even the regular classic rooms DTLA are much spacious imho . Not to mention Tokyo, Osaka , Beppu & Okinawa are all much larger based on same category rooms . I enjoyed the stay best about all the employees friendly attentive service and you can sense the warm hospitality or maybe they are all beautiful people working there ;) They surprised me with Champagne & Chocolate covered strawberries too The only 1 star I took away due to house keeping checking on my late check out which was promised at check in . Over all as a solo traveler the location is great Everything is just walkable in Bellevue Square area since I didn't rent a car . It's windy kind of rainy day in October so maybe warmer dry days definitely better.

Yelp
Just want to make people aware, this hotel is not ready for prime time. I was not a guest but a visitor for lunch. They don't have their own parking lot and signage is non-existent if you're driving. Their restaurant won't open until next year. And at the one bar, in the lobby, the bartender was AWOL. That said, the neighborhood is wonderful and I have no doubt this hotel will become a top destination when it's finished.

B B.

Yelp
The hotel is fresh, clean and beautiful. However, there is still the issue of the HVAC clicking noise that kept me up ever night the other reviews mentioned. It will drive you crazy! The small hotel bar can't accommodate travelers and it's way over priced. There are plenty of other options within in walking distance to get a cocktail. Room service is also over priced even for room service.

Navdeep S.

Yelp
Make sure you check in Owen at front desk and go straight to the bar to see Gregg the guy that looks like he should be in Hollywood videos these guys made our stay 100/10

Jeff S.

Yelp
It's a pretty new hotel, so I think they're still working some things out. The room itself was very nice. There doesn't appear to be any self parking (at least there's no signage), so ended up valet parking, which we later found out was $65 a night, which is pretty steep for the area (Hyatt and Westin across the street have free self parking on weekends)l. The $25 "amenity fee" wasn't disclosed before booking as well, and there were no prices on anything in the mini bar so it was difficult to know what was under the $15 credit that's included in the amenity fee. Seems like the hotel is making up for a low room rate by adding a lot of fees. We enjoyed our stay, but the value was questionable given plenty of other options in the area that are more transparent about their fees.
