Franklin has a hidden secret: a clean and classy breakfast cafe to stroll to in town. Get their margarita pizza, or a toasted bagel with your coffer, or a fresh muffin. Plenty to eat for breakfast, comfy and quaint.

Worse smoothie I have ever had. Threw it right out! Yuckkkk! It was a berry smoothie and was black! It was Not expensive but still was a waste of money. Try organic buzz or nirvana for a good smoothie.

Intermission Café is THAT Spot! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Listen, if you haven’t been to Intermission Café, you are seriously missing out! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is warm, welcoming, and just right for a solo coffee moment or a cute little brunch date. The staff? Top-tier. Everyone is so friendly, attentive, and truly makes you feel like a VIP. Now let’s talk about the food. Whew! Fresh, flavorful, and made with love. Every bite tastes like it was cooked just for you. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a full meal, you can taste the quality in every dish. And the coffee? Baby, it’s giving hot, fresh, and keeps you going! No lukewarm, stale brews here—Intermission keeps it piping hot and delicious. Overall, this place is a whole experience, not just a café. Whether you need a peaceful work spot, a good meal, or just a great cup of coffee, Intermission delivers every time. 10/10, highly recommend!

This is a cute little restaurant that I doubt most people know about. It's located behind the Franklin school for the performing arts, in the same building. Great Vanilla shakes and bagels. Grilled cheese could've been better. I plan to come back and try their flatbreads. soon.

My favorite cafe in the area! The atmosphere is very cozy (perfect for reading or doing some work), the coffee is great, and the food is fantastic, everything is fresh and delicious. I try to come here as often as I can.

Yelp
I want this cafe to be better. Cute atmosphere. Table heights too low and table feet are uneven. Coffee has little taste. Ham & cheese croissants frozen inside despite being put in oven. Has potential but they aren't there yet.

Yelp
Just what downtown Franklin needed! Great for eating in or takeout. Staff is super nice and menu has lots to choose from. And shoutout to Sarah for helping me make my coffee when I just had my nails done :D Hahaha!

Yelp
Met a friend in the late afternoon - what a find. The theatre themed cafe is lovely and welcoming, with a nod to its surroundings. Great place for meeting friends or business for a light breakfast or lunch or afternoon pick-me-up. The menu is more extensive than expected - wraps, burgers, breakfast sandwiches, salads, chicken tenders, fries, flatbreads, mac 'n cheese, soups, muffins from the Muffin House and bagels from Elizabeths. The staff were a delight and helpful. We were meeting for business and even though it is counter ordering, the girls checked in on us, but never rushed us. Do drop in, you will be pleasantly surprised. Of the two entrances, the one on Central is through the glass door to the right of the Spotlight, wind your way to the back. Yes they need a sign on that side.

Yelp
I feel like many of the reviews are misrepresenting what this cafe really is. I don't want other people to be disappointed in the menu like we were upon arrival. This is basically a coffee shop that serves some sandwiches and salads. It is located in the back of the performing arts center where many young people are taking ballet lessons. It seems to me more of a place for parents to get a lunch or coffee while waiting and a place for kids to grab a quick snack like a protein bar or fruit or ice cream. The ambience is very nice. It looks like a coffee shop with reclaimed wood floors and small cafe tables. The menu is somewhat limited, there are wraps and traditional sandwiches, you can choose from turkey, ham or chicken salad with lettuce, tomato and bacon. There is a daily soup, which we did not partake in, but today was chicken noodle. There was one other table seated when we arrived. We ordered and had a seat. 20 minutes later our sandwiches, nothing special, arrived. The artisan bread my turkey sandwich was on was nice, but otherwise the sandwich wasn't anything someone could have just made at home. The server apologized for it taking so long because "they were swamped". There was no one else in the shop when we did get our order to our table so I'm not sure what she was talking about, and only one other customer came in after us to order coffee. As we were leaving another table had ordered and was receiving a very nice looking salad of mixed greens that was a good portion size. I feel like this place has much potential, but maybe we were there on an off day.

Yelp
What an amazing spot in lovely downtown Franklin. It's peaceful and serene with really great food. From soups that change often, fresh made sandwiches toasted with quality ingredients...flatbreads that are delicious and healthy. Love the bread choices too. Frozen hot chocolate, teas , coffee and bagels for breakfast. The decor is super cool with a must see "chandelier ". Don't miss the hidden gem. Plenty of parking too.

Yelp
Good food and friendly staff. I love the theme of the cafe and it's a great local option, easily walking distance downtown, but plenty of parking around back as well (which is where the main entrance is, though if the studio is open, you can get there from the front of the building).

Yelp
Solid work in opening this new place! Menu has good options and is a healthy alternative to other places in town. Its perfect for a light lunch or coffee and lounging. They even have ice cream! I look forward to them opening up their outside seating sometime soon. My only recommendation is that they put a sign out front in the main drag so it's easier to find this gem!

Yelp
Went for lunch with friends recently and was delighted to find this charming spot. We had sandwiches and salad. The food was good and service was friendly. Easy parking. Located downtown next to performance center.

Yelp
I LOVE this place! I attend Dean College and I prefer Intermission over the on campus coffee shop we have! (Its cheaper and better than starbucks on my opinion) The staff are so sweet and I'm always greeted with a friendly smile. The muffins and Coffee are delicious! Would defiantly recommend!
