"This casual Buford Highway spot with a sports bar aesthetic is better known for its wings. But the cheesesteak proves International Cafe isn’t just a one-hit wonder. We love the globs of melted provolone and tender steak, even if the soft bread gets a little soggy in parts. But the speedy service and laid back vibe of this counter-order joint cancels out our roll complaint. " - juli horsford

"When you need wings that make the night a success even when your team loses by double digits, hit this Buford Highway spot. International Cafe has all the markers of a sports bar: a smattering of unremarkable tables, large TVs tuned into ESPN, top-notch wings, and more fried food options than a state fair. The only thing missing is an actual bar, although cans of beer are available. But you're here to get the wings anyway—no matter if you dine in or carry out, the more popular choice. They only offer hot and lemon pepper sauce (the restaurant is laser focused), but their crispy exteriors, moist centers, and the optimum amount of sauce make up for the limited flavor options. Google
The x-hot wings were fire, as well as the chicken philly. The fries were okay, but with how great the other food was our minds were made up. Customer service was top tier. Sammy had taken our order and she made sure we had everything we needed and more, plus she was super friendly and even brought our food out to us. We will definitely be going back.

Google
It was mediocre, not bad but not great either. Wings were decent, the garlic parmesean wings were good though.

Itayshia Pollard

Google
Great wings and veggies fried rice. No complaints so far and I will return to try other items on the menu.

Google
I have been coming here with my family for 20 plus years. The owners are the best and the wings are the best in Atlanta hands down. Love this place!

Hunny B. Aaron.

Google
Food was very good. Prices are reasonable. It didn't take long for our family to receive our order ( 50+ wings, Large fries, larges onion rings, 3 side salads) it's a little cramped so staying long wasnt really an option for our family more of an eat and get out type of place but the food was still good. Next time may try getting to go instead of dining in.

Google
Wings were on point. The flavor, crispy on outside yet moist on the inside. Loved it!

Google
I am a foodie. I have been frequenting International Cafe for many years. This is the only place in Atlanta or anywhere for that matter that I get my hot wings. The prices are reasonable and the wings are uniquely seasoned for taste.

Google
This place rocks hard. The burger was amazing, and the lemon pepper wings were delicious. My partner got the mild wings and potato skins, and those were tasty as well. We got delivery, and the food was finished super fast. They also payed attention to me checking off that I wanted my burger rare. (Lots of places ignore that and cook it however they want.) I also wasn’t sure about the steak fries since they usually get soggier than regular ones, but these were CRISP and awesome. Super delicious food all around.

Yelp
My family and I have been going to this spot for 20 years. We drive over an hour just to get their wings. They are the absolute best. No other wing place touches them. We get good, fast friendly service. Our food is always hot cooked to order. We get the flavor-hot and it's just the perfect amount of spice. Not too hot and not too mild. We love them and will remain a customer for years to come. Plenty of parking. Decent, very very casual ambiance.

Jeff P.

Yelp
The wings are best around imho. The dining room looks nice & the service is fast . Consistently great for 3 decades .

Kevin W.

Yelp
I wanted a Philly Cheese Steak and some fried rice. I am glad that I came here. This place did not disappoint. This area does not have a lot of places open after 9PM and that is shocking to me. This place had my carry out order ready in 10 minutes. Good hot food. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak with onions, peppers, and mushrooms. I got the small Chicken Fried Rice. All the food tasted good and it was a reasonable price. I want to come back for a large fried rice.

Luckie D.

Yelp
Something has changed here and it's not great. Dined on Friday afternoon. This wind are still tasty but noticably drier. Missing is little extra sauce you could do fries into. Missing too are ketchup squeeze bottles on the table in favor of individual packs which are a pain in the butt. Overall it seems to be under different management and I'm not a fan

Steven D.

Yelp
I have been coming here for years. They have a pretty good menu, but I love their wings and have never eaten anything else. That's how good they taste!

Niaz P.

Yelp
Came here to pick up some food. They are very nice and quick. I'd say great service. The chicken tenders were ok, they didn't feel flavorful enough. The fries were not the style I liked but they were also ok. I enjoyed their onion rings and would say to get those over the fries.

Lisa M.

Yelp
Wings are what you want here! My family has been coming here for YEARS & I went back for the first time in a very long time. The lemon pepper wings are perfection! The hot wings are also on point! Cheese steaks (chicken & beef) were good, but under seasoned. Fries need some salt. But service is nice & quick. My favorite place for a wing fix!

Andre B.

Yelp
This place was perfect before. The food is still good, but now you can't enjoy your food because there are so many gnats all over the place. The gnats are not there because the place is dirty. It's actually pretty clean. But the old owners did not have all of these plants all over the place. The new owners have all of these plants all over the restaurant. These plants have attracted a lot of gnats & these gnats make it impossible to enjoy your food.

A B.

Yelp
Some of the best wings in town! They are consistently always cooked well, prepared correctly, & ready on-time.

Susan G.

Yelp
They make the best hot wings in the metro Atlanta area. I will drive an hour just to get their wings. I get the dry lemon pepper hot wings. They are the best! They are fried perfect; not too hard, well done, not too much season, etc. I used to go there a little often than I do now when I use to work two minutes away. Their was a time when a lot of people from the Corporate Square CDC employees use to meet there for lunch. Even though I have retired from CDC I still meet some of the present & former co-workers there.

Yolanda W.

Yelp
Chicken cheesesteak w/onions,peppers, mushrooms. Staying up the road at the Doubletree .... smell consumed the lobby!

Josie A.

Yelp
The chicken tenders are actually good! & the lady got our order right. The atmosphere was pretty vibey

Jack R.

Yelp
Maybe it's just me... maybe. But I was truly not impressed with the wings. The lemon pepper had an inquiring taste to it, and the hot wings weren't really that hot at all and lacked sauce. The flavor itself was just average. Not sure why or how these wings receive so much praise, they're average at best. The customer service was great, which is why I'm giving 3 stars, but the wings alone were a 2 out of 5. Not bad but I've had better wings at wingstop.

Shay W.

Yelp
International is the best spot in Brookhaven Crispy chicken all the time staff is very nice customer service is amazing

Jamarcus T.

Yelp
The comment is always said that it's hard to mess up wings, but i've had enough to know that's not a true statement, so when I bit into the wings I ordered tonight, I smiled. I ordered 10 wings ($7.99), which comes with celery and your choice of blue cheese or ranch dressing. The wings come with a nice treat, because you can split your 10 wing order in two flavors (5 each). How could I say no to that?? I ordered 5 lemon pepper wings and 5 teriyaki flavored wings. The lemon pepper wings were not missing the lemon pepper seasoning. Woooo it was strong, and for me, actually almost too salty. The wings were pretty crispy though, exactly how I like them, while being juicy on the inside. The teriyaki wings were lightly sauced, and unlike other places i've been to, these sauced wings were still able to maintain that crispiness I liked with the lemon pepper. The blue cheese looked like it was made in house, with these nice chunks of cheese. Sadly the dressing didn't have that nice twang I like, and was kinda mild in flavor. The one drawback to International Cafe is their menu is pretty small. If you're into variety, even in terms of wing flavors, they may not be your go to place. If you want a great lemon pepper or teriyaki order of wings though, this cafe is worth a shot. Located at the intersection of Curtis Drive and Buford Hwy, parking was tight, but I found a space. The interior is large enough to seat a group of 20, while still having room for others, but it's not a huge store. Nice crispy wings, sometimes too salty, sometimes without excellent dipping sauces, but if I were invited again, I definitely would return. Check them out!

Daniel B.

Yelp
4 stars for tasty wings. Not sure I'd consider them great, but they are good. I think most longtime Atlantans like this place because of the nostalgia factor. International Cafe has existed on Buford Highway since 1983! (It's almost as old as me.) This restaurant is located in a small nondescript strip just north of N Druid Hills Rd and the Pink Pony. The inside is dimly lit with casual, open floor, table seating. I guesstimate the interior can seat about 40-50 people tops. It's an old, no frills kind of joint with a few big TVs tuned to sports. This place suffices as a simple sports bar. They serve beer. International Cafe is known for its wings. They come in 5 flavors: mild, medium, hot, lemon pepper, and teriyaki. 10 wings costs $7.99, 20 $15.79, and 50 $37.99. What's not mentioned on the menu is you can get 15 wings for $12.78. You can get up to 2 different flavors in the 10, 20, and 15-piece meals and at least 3 different flavors in the 50-piece. Other food served includes sandwiches and burgers (e.g. fried chicken sandwich, pastrami, Reuben, meatball sandwich, steak and chicken Phillies, cheeseburger), fried fish, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken fingers, and sides like fries and onion rings. Everything is affordably priced with no single item (aside from 15 or more wings) costing more than $8.99. I've tried 4 wing flavors: medium, hot, lemon pepper, and teriyaki. The medium, hot, and teriyaki wings are wet (with sauce) while the lemon pepper are dry. The hot wings are significantly spicier than the medium wings. I love spicy food and I would not consider the hot wings here very spicy. They definitely have a kick to them, but I can keep eating them with no noticeable buildup of heat. In other words, they aren't overly spicy. I think the lemon pepper and teriyaki flavors are terrific. The lemon pepper wings have a mouthwatering combination of salty, peppery, and zesty (mostly salty, but in a good way). The teriyaki wings are sweet and savory. These wings fare better cold/cooler than the hot/spicy wings which are best eaten hot/warm. Overall quality of the wings and meat is A-OK. All wing orders come with a small amount of celery sticks and either blue cheese or ranch dipping sauce. Sides I've tried include the fries and onion rings. They're both par for the course. The fries are steak fries (thick cut fries). The onion rings are big with lots of crispy, crunchy, crumbly batter. Service is speedy and the staff is friendly. Like a lot of other wings places, International Cafe is built for takeout orders. They have boxes stacked high ready to go be filled.

Brittni T.

Yelp
Food is always great here. I love the wings and they are quick with service. You have to try this place!

James P.

Yelp
I have been a customer at the International Cafe for 4 years and their customer service is excellent and they are very friendly. The only thing I think they need to improve is their variety of foods and add foods to there menu. They need to have Italian subs/ Pulled pork subs/Tacos/Chicken Mcnuggets/popcorn shrimp/Waffle fries.

Yelp
You can find the International Cafe at 3066 Buford Highway NE, Atlanta, GA 30329 in the same strip mall as one of my previous reviews for China Feng. Parking is out front and there's plenty so no worries, it was also not very busy during at 8:00 PM when our group paid a visit. I had heard from friends that the International Cafe was a great place for wings so was eager to try it when John F announced it as the next stop for our Buford Highway Restaurant Crawl group. I arrived a bit early and grabbed a couple of tables and was joined shortly by others. International Cafe is a mom-and-pop place with a very limited menu and lots of beer options. The girl behind the counter took our orders and we waited about 10 minutes for the food to arrive - since I got there early I ordered a Philly cheese steak because I wanted to try something different and figured I'd share it out. I also ordered a Sweetwater IPA. Others arrived shortly 8:00 and we took a look at the menu to decide what to order for appetizers and meals. For apps we got the Potato Skins (bacon - Bacos? - and melted cheese) and Onion Rings. The skins were pretty marginal and I wouldn't recommend them. The onion rings were good but probably the pre-breaded frozen type you order from restaurant supply companies, filling but nothing special. The Philly was tasty but not a real Philly but that may just be me being a food-snob. For entrees we ordered a grilled cheese sandwich (for the vegetarian), a burger with steak fries (wasn't very good) and an assortment of wings spitting up one order between the teriyaki and lemon pepper and some extra spicy hot wings. The standout here are the wings - these are all deep fried well and remind me a bit of the wings you can get at American Cafe. The extra hot were hot but not terribly so and the texture was good if you like the extra-fried style - which I do. They are on the smallish side, typical of places like Cafe Hot Wing 2 on Chamblee-Tucker. Our server, who also manned the counter, was very sweet and very accommodating keeping us full of beer and drinks. The owners are very lucky to have her. In general I can see why people like to come here - the beer and food is very cheap, the atmosphere very neutral and the dining room clean. The food is nothing special but I would stick with the wings and forego the appetizers and burgers. (also posted to my food blog)

Muthana A.

Yelp
Great service. The wings are 10/10 in flavor but not the biggest kind of wings (either baby chickens or natural ones) the sauce is amazing too

Broome M.

Yelp
The food is excellent but front end help are not very friendly to black customers I eat there a lot and watch how different it is with the customer service overall food great though service 5 out of ten

Yelp
The international cafe is located on the Buford highway, close to north Druid hills road, next to China feng. I went in for a quick lunch since I have been craving wings. The restaurant is not well lighted with 15 tables inside. A wall size fridge is full of cold drinks( including beers) to choose from. I ordered at the counter, ten pieces lemon pepper with hot sauce on the side, and it costs around 8.50 with taxes. There are five wing flavors available here, mild, medium, hot, lemon pepper and teriyaki. The size of wings was decent, they were cooked well and crunchy. The flavors I ordered were pretty generic and kind of plain. This is why I took off one star. If you are seeking for some exotic fusion flavors, this is definitely not your spot. I enjoyed my meal because of the crunchiness of their wings. I will probably go back, but I need more flavorful sauces to make here my wing spot.

Jeffrey D.

Yelp
I have been eating at the International Cafe since 1992. Ownership has passed from parents to children but the atmosphere and great wings have remained the same. It might not be much to look at outside, but inside is welcoming, friendly and full of good food. Love this place.

Emily G.

Yelp
I was really craving wings and searched for "best wings near me". International Cafe popped up with great reviews, and I stopped by. Wonderful customer service, perfectly crispy lemon pepper wings, and amazing blue cheese. I'll be a regular!

Tiff H.

Yelp
It was a wings kind of night and my friends got me in charge of picking some up. I was in the Buckhead/Brookhaven area so I decided to try a new place within reasonable driving distance of where I was. I'd bookmarked this restaurant because I'd heard good things about their chicken wings, so I decided to go a little out of my way to give them a try. International Cafe is in a slightly sketchy little plaza. Parking was plentiful, though, and I rushed inside after parking to avoid the sketchy homeless man who had just walked past. The interior is dim, reminding me more of a bar than a cafe. There were TV's all around, not necessarily airing sports. There was only one or two other tables of people seated in the dining area. I ordered at the register, where a single person manned it patiently. I ordered 50 wings, which can be split into three flavors, so I ordered teriyaki, lemon pepper and hot - the guy at the register said if you like spicy, this is not that bad. So going on his word, I ordered hot. It came with a side of celery and blue cheese. Not being a blue cheese kind of girl, I asked for ranch, too, and two orders of fries. The ten minute wait was as promised. By the time I got the food to my friend's place, we were all pretty ready for wings and fried goodness. One of my friends was very impressed with the teriyaki wings: not soaked in sauce but still super flavorful. Overall, the wings were a little dry and overfried, but the flavors were pretty spot on. The hot was a little spicier than I expected but still tasty. The fries were NOT good. Get a different side if you're wanting sides. The steak fries were dry and bland. At least a little salt would have been nice... I was just not that impressed. I wonder if to go orders aren't as good as eating in. But regardless, I probably won't go out of my way to get wings here again.

Lisa H.

Yelp
Originally I planned to dole out three stars to International Cafe after a UYE there, but I gave it another shot. I'm glad I did since I'm happy to upgrade to four. International Cafe has been slinging wings since 1983, so that says a lot. It's a pretty low-key spot on the southern end of Buford Highway. Wing flavors include mild, medium, hot, teriyaki, and lemon pepper. It's not listed, but extra hot is available, just ask. As for me, they do lemon pepper well, with abundant rub (though a few wings were a tad salty) on crunchy skin, with moist meat underneath. Ten wings were be $7.99. They were a little small one time but then seemed bigger the next. You can choose blue cheese or ranch dressing. The blue cheese appeared homemade, with generous large chunks of cheese. Celery was the the default vegetable. The side house salad ($3.45) was fine, nothing out of the ordinary, consisting of iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and shredded cheddar. The accompanying crackers were stale though. I was able to nab a few bites of a steak Philly ($7.99, peppers and mushrooms extra) and would consider ordering that during a future visit. Large groups seem to overwhelm the restaurant, so I'd stick to small parties. The servers have been really nice. One unisex bathroom. Parking available right out front.

Rochelle J.

Yelp
Used to love this place for wings and I haven't been here in a while. I just got a 10pc and fries. Chicken tasted like a bad selection of meat. Would recommend a new meat supplier as I've saw a few other reviews with the same comment.

Daniela O.

Yelp
I don't know what has been happening to these wings but I've been going here since 1990.I've seen the change this restaurant has made over the years physically by it's decorations, even when they had waitresses but now I'm seeing change in the food. The wings aren't as crispy as before and the quality of the food when it is served isn't the same. I'm assuming they've change the owners and personally I wish them only the best but to continue this legacy of an amazing place that had grown for many families in Atlanta area.

Rachel K.

Yelp
Definitely a place I'd get pick up from for my wings nights! Since I'm a huge Lemon Pepper Wings fan in general. Parking - Is ok. They do have an entire strip, but.... If it's during a mass rush, it may be tough to find a spot. Space - There are lots of tables. But they are awkwardly around each other. Again, I'd definitely just do pick up here when I have my wings nights. I think a lot of people tend to do pick up. Food wise - other flavors are OK, IMO. My absolute fav was the Lemon Pepper. Unsure how they got the zing, but it was delicious. That alone is why I'd come back here. Meat was fine too. Not too bad. Ranch/Blue Cheese with celery are a part of the meal when ordering. Top maybe 7 for my wings list.

Lindy F.

Yelp
"I had you pinned with that chicken wing, don't deny it."-- Gossip Girl: Season 2 | Episode 6 They get points for delicious lemon pepper wings, for sure. Hands down - if you mess that up, I won't ever be back. But over all, this is an odd establishment in a weird location. I'd never have stopped in here had it not been for Daniel B. It's very dark inside and has a big menu with photos on it - immediately not something I would look to be a quality place to eat. It's no-nonsense. Wings and a few other items, but really, you are going to come here for the wings. Again, not much to choose from (lemon pepper, mild, medium and hot, and teriyaki). You can get them in a variety of sizes, and they will let you split your order if you get at least 10-wings. I opted for the 20-wing and got 10 lemon pepper and 10 medium. For $16, it isn't a bad deal. The lemon pepper were not overly dusty unfortunately, and the medium were not swimming in sauce, also unfortunately. But the flavor was good and the wings weren't overcooked. The wings came with celery and ranch (you can get blue cheese if you prefer). I do like that the fries are steak fries (my preferred variety). Because we had a lot of people, the service to get iced tea refills was a little slow, but I guess that was to be expected. Overall, it was good and I would consider a return trip for wings. Not my first choice, but definitely in the top 10.

Randy T.

Yelp
Hole in the wall restaurant with tasty wings. International Cafe is located on Buford Highway, just past the Druid Hills intersection next to China Feng. The restaurant isn't very large and the menu is limited. Choose from five flavors of wings - lemon pepper, mild, medium, hot, or teriyaki. There's a very small set of sandwiches - a cheeseburger, a beef Philly cheesesteak, a chicken Philly cheesesteak, a Reuben, a fried chicken sandwich, and a pastrami sandwich. In addition, there's a fish and chips platter, a spaghetti and meatballs platter, fries, onion rings, potato wedges, and.... rice and gravy?? I pretty much covered the menu in this paragraph. Sides are around $2-3 and wings/sandwiches are between $5-10. Highlights: I got an order of ten wings. One awesome thing about this place is that they'll actually let you split your order of ten wings into two flavors. There are plates of 10, 20, and 50 wings. If you order 50, you can split your order into three flavors. The lemon pepper wings were my favorite of the night - they had great flavor. I also ordered the medium wings, which have a small kick to them. Critiques: I also ordered the rice and gravy, solely because I couldn't find a photo on Yelp, on the menu, or anywhere in the restaurant. It never hurts to be adventurous, right? My small portion of rice and gravy came out - and all I can say is that it was very interesting. The gravy was way too thick. It was almost the consistency of a paste. I also thought that the gravy had a really odd sweet flavor. It wasn't a bad taste, but not what I was anticipating when I ordered the dish. The wings were the highlight of the meal, but I definitely think that the medium wings should be served with more sauce. Spice level also could be brought up just a notch. Overall: Good wings and cheap sandwiches. Food overall is just okay, but I'd definitely consider International Cafe if I want wings for a Super Bowl party.

Nitza P.

Yelp
Xxtra crispy wings still aren't crispy ‍ they cap ... but their fried thooooooooooooo.

Cornelius C.

Yelp
This will be a short review. This place definitely the best wings in Atlanta. Get you a 20 piece lemon pepper and you're set.

Joe B.

Yelp
I would give it 5 stars, bc the food is really good. But trying to order over the phone is nearly impossible bc the girl answering cannot understand English. I know it's not her native language, but I had two very difficult conversations with her and ordered over $100 worth of wings and food, all of which was really good, but she screwed up the order and my guests were not happy. There is no way to order online if you want something other than exactly what they show on the list. I was trying to order 100 wings in various flavors and styles. You simply cannot do it on their online ordering, and you have to call. Then you get someone, who has to ask someone else what I mean after every request. If you go in I'm sure it's better. If you want delivery it getting worse, bc they make you order through Door Dash, and you have the same issues with getting your order correctly. If you are ordering just as the menu is published, then I guess you are OK, but if you want variations or changes, then you are going to have a tough time. She just didn't know much about the menu and what portions looked like. I ordered the Family Tray of wings in 4 different flavors, and she got that correct, but I wanted the hot ones Flats only and the rest mixed. I got flats only for the whole order and my guests wanted the drums. NAd, look at the picture on their menu and the celery and carrots. I got maybe 6 pieces. Again the food is great but online and phone ordering is very difficult. I probably won't go to them again unless I'm in the area and can go it.

Tess W.

Yelp
This place has ruined hot wings for me in the best way. I was not a fan of them until I tried this place, they make them perfectly (well done, crispy outside, saucy if you like it that way.) So now when I try wings from anywhere else I always say these are no International Cafe. The owners are really nice as well, they are always friendly and recognize me when I do come in. They also have the best Philly Cheese steak that I've had since I've lived in Atlanta. I've also tried their fish dinner which was the best, but I would still order it again if I were feeling fish and we were going there. They have a small menu, reasonable prices and it's a nice small quiet restaurant.

Claudia A.

Yelp
I was shocked to learn that this place has been around since 1983. Providing decent wings for a long time. They have great lemon pepper wings! I'm picky with my lemon pepper and they did them just right. The hot wings where just ok. I also got some fries and they as good as fries go. I ordered 10 wings total and paid around $8. My friend got the onion rings and loved them. Nice and large and crunchy. Service is fast and the staff is friendly. Like a lot of other wings places, International Cafe is built for takeout orders.

John R.

Yelp
Delivery (via grubHub) was a little late--not a big deal. The order wasn't exactly right. I had requested special sauces (not the usual ranch)--they never came. The wings were okay. I suspect the problem was that no one paid attention. For example, I said no napkins--they came anyway. I don't much care about the napkins; I do care about the lack of attention.

Amy L.

Yelp
Fast service, well-priced and pretty good. The lemon pepper is a must-have for flavor and so are the potato skins! Def will be back

Haus Of H.

Yelp
Love their food ! They know me by name, i usually order the wings and grilled cheese, very clean and the food taste so fresh

Kartik P.

Yelp
Man I have never been deceived with yelp reviews before. I was looking for good wings around here and having had wings from wingstop, wings101, taco mac, hooters, BWW etc I was looking for more of a local option. I am always in favor of going local whenever possible and having read good reviews about this place I decided to give it a try. Getting to this place is not a concern at all. Right on Buford Highway across from Pink Pony and there is plenty of parking around the strip joint. There are a few other restaurants that share the parking spots so finding a spot might be a concern sometimes. I I placed my orders on phone for 10 wings and philly steak. Philly steak was good and on the point. The bread could have been better. By the time I got to the sandwich which was about 15 mins after it was soggy and mushy. It could have held up the a little longer..lol. Now onto the wings. They were definitely on the smaller side, not even medium. Of all the places that I have had these were the smallest that I have had. Lemon pepper seasoning was different than most places and had the zing and the Hot sauce could have been hotter IMO. But overall, small wings, big disappointment!

I had wings to go from here. This place serves the purpose for what they are. A wing place. The wings were cooked well & the fries were good. I am only giving them 4 stars because I think even for a wing place it could be more comfortable to eat inside (being picky). Also, I think it matter what flavor you order. I had the hot they were good. Another time I had a different flavor and it wasn't quite as good to me. I'll be back again. Clean, professional, good wings.

Yelp
i ordered spaghetti and meatballs ... i sliced on in half before i ate it and it was RAW inside. i opened the other one it looked cooked.i went back to show them and their excuse was it's soaked for a long time in the sauce so it's red on the inside... i've never seen cooked meat look raw on the inside due to sauce... why want the other meatball red on the inside ? if it was cooked in the same sauce as they claimed ... instead of argue with your customers (who are always right) you should've apologized and admitted to your wrong doing. IT WAS RAW. i'm a cook and i know the difference between something raw and something that's been sitting in sauce all day. and if both meatballs came from the same sauce why was one red and the other was brown on the inside?? i also went back to purchase them to prove a point and what do you know ? nothing on the inside, no red anything. just brown meat in spaghetti sauce.

Yelp
Sooooo...The reason for me giving IC 2 stars is cause Ive been coming here for over 25 YEARS.. no I'm not lying, so it's more of a love thing I have or guess had for this place. Lived literally across the street, apartment complex used to be called Druid Walk, and the Mexican shop that's there now was actually a bank, got my haircut at the hair salon located in the same little shopping center where IC is located in, went to Woodward elementary, and did my sophomore year in Cross Keys that are located right down the street. Anyways, back to my reason for giving IC 2 stars is cause last few times I been back the chicken tastes like low quality chicken, has almost like a taste before chicken goes bad..? Not sure if that makes sense. Their chicken NEVER used to taste so low quality. But yes, been very disappointing experiences lately. Again, is more of the love I have for this place, and the people there have always been so nice. Please look into picking out better chicken for the wings.. PLEASE. Obviously they're still favored by a lot, based on the comments. It's just that they used to be better, they used to be sooo freaking good... what's going on guys? Has anyone else experienced this?

Yelp
Seriously THE BEST chicken wings in the country!!!! The way they cook their wings is SO SPECIAL. The texture of these wings are absolutely UNCOMPARABLE. The hot and the lemon pepper are the most delicious flavors and I like to order 1/2 and 1/2 to balance each other out (The hot can get pretty spicy). I order from here at least twice a month... and the leftover wings reheat really well in the toaster oven.

Yelp
I've never eaten anything else other than lemon pepper wings here so I can't really comment on anything else. DAMN they are crispy and they come out fast and hot. I can see how some people would say their wings are too salty, but I didn't have any issue with them (I'm a salt fiend, though). With their lemon-saltiness, I can see them being especially good with an ice cold beer. Their blue cheese dressing gets a notable mention. Most people give you those little plastic pre-made cups of blue cheese. Not here! They make the blue cheese dressing in-house and you can tell by the gratuitous cheese chunks. If I were to critique them on anything it'd be the amount of meatiness on the wings. These aren't the meatiest wings, but they compensate by being the crispiest of all the wings I've had so far. The wings here are definitely better than your neighborhood American Deli, so definitely check it out!

Yelp
It's been a minute since we last came but the food and service is still fantastic. The menu is straight-forward and everything fits on one side of a laminated page. While the menu options aren't overly large, everything on it is done well, super tasty, and served fast! If you're dining in, grab an open table and a server will come take orders. Our favorite menu items are their wings (of course!), philly cheese steaks (beef or chicken), onion rings, and sautéed mushrooms. Drinks are bottles or cans, no fountain options. Service is efficient, friendly, and fast! This is a no frills wing shop with large tvs showing various sports games/commentaries. It's a family owned restaurant that has been here since the mid 1990s! There's a good reason it's still here!

Yelp
I love chicken wings. Love them. Honestly, I was not that impressed my first visit. I think it was because I was expecting more of a saucy, wingstop, kind of wing. However, these have quickly made their way to the top of my list! I find myself craving the crunchy and flavorful wings! If they offered a few more flavors and better sides (like wingstop) I would totally give them 5 stars. My usual order has become the 10 piece wings -5 lemon pepper; 5 medium; with a basket of fries and an order of Texas toast. I don't love the fries but they do the job. I prefer crispy fries but these are thick, steak fries. They're okay but don't tend to be crispy. The Texas toast is the best! Perfectly buttery and toasted. International cafe is definitely one of our regular spots and I would recommend it to anyone looking for good wings.
