The Best Matcha Lattes in Los Angeles - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"With its mostly black decor, Interstellar near Third Street Promenade looks more like a moody wine bar than a cafe. Out front there’s a patio where you can catch a sliver of the ocean while sipping a very nice matcha latte that’s vibrant green and clearly hand-whisked (you’ll see tiny frothy little bubbles at the top). It’s not sweetened by default, but you can add vanilla if you want, though it’s well-balanced and easy-drinking without it." - cathy park

Dining Dilemma: Where Can Selena Gomez Get A Cozy Breakfast? - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Knees touch and hearts flutter at Interstellar. An all-day cafe down the block from Third Street Promenade, this is probably our favorite place in Santa Monica to share body warmth and breakfast linguine. The lighting is low, the tiny tables are perfect for low-key dates, and the plant-filled space is no larger than a studio apartment. Share a pork katsu sando or go all out with a breakfast burrito bigger than a baby dolphin." - nikko duren

This was an amazing experience. You can buy your tickets online. But you can also buy your tickets when you get inside, there are kiosks. The show is often so if you arrive in between the wait is maybe 15 minutes. We went when it wasn't that crowded so I can't speak on when it is busy. There is a limitation on how big of a group can go on the arc experience at a time. The staff does a great job of trying to have you stay immersed in the experience. However they do have to give instructions at the beginning for safety because it is completely immersive. For those who have used VR or have a meta 3s or any type of VR headset that has mixed reality you should feel right at home with no dizziness or nausea. Bring glasses if you dont wear contacts. But wear contacts if u have them. You cannot adjust the vision to see if you cannot without correction. If it is your first time they also do a great job of orienting you with providing handles( rails) throughout the experience that does fit the immersion. It makes you feel like you're holding on to parts of the ship as youre walking. It's amazing. I don't want to spoil it. But the design allows the opportunity for repeat times if you want to get all of the achievements. Such as claiming all the golden or silver orbs. In the future when they change the story or progress the story you will continue because there is a record through the "passport" of your experience. Also, you can take pictures through the VR which is similar to the meta with hand control. So make sure you use a real email (with your boarding passes at launch) so you can get your photos. I would recommend this to anybody of any age who is stable on their feet has good or fair balance and can walk for a certain amount of time. May not be good for those with inner ear (vestibular problems). They do give you time to experience each area but there are certain limitations to stay with your group in order not miss significant moments. However, you are not rushed. I lost myself when I was in there but I would say the total time that you are in there is 1 hour give or take 10mins extra for prep. I'm excited to see where this goes next. I would not suggest drinking or getting high before this experience especially if your sensitive to motion sickness.

Very cool and fun experience! 😊 Glad I went to check it out during my conference trip to Vegas! Definitely much more impressive than the Sphere and not as pricey too! This one is worth every dollar! Also, never experienced anything like this interstellar voyage in VR before. It was absolutely mind-blowing! 🤯 I was in awe the whole time. Definitely a must-try for anyone who loves tech, immersive art, and astronomy. 🚀 🪐✨💫🌎 As someone who’s usually sensitive to VR, I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the whole experience was. The setup even had rails to hold on to, so I could walk around safely without worrying about tripping. 🙌💫 It’s definitely a fun activity for families, friends, teams, or even dates! 🥰 Highly recommend it for anyone looking for something unique and unforgettable. ✨🚀💫

Google
Did group of four for 240. Event is designed so that you will not be able to complete - 50% so that you will come back. Story line is ok. Visor resolution is LOW, hence does not look real. In few years will be fantastic. Recommend 7/10

Google
An absolutely breathtaking experience! I visited this place the other day with my son, Francisco, and we had an incredible time. From start to finish, the quality of the attraction was top-notch. The audio and visual effects were truly mind-blowing—completely immersive and crystal clear. What impressed us the most was the sensation of vertigo; it felt so realistic that it literally took our breath away! It is rare to find a place that manages to create such a spectacular and thrilling atmosphere. If you are looking for a high-quality, exciting experience to share with family, this is definitely the spot. We enjoyed every second of it!

Google
My 10 year daughter and I went to check this out with a friend for my birthday. As someone who is not into science fiction or fantasy - this experience is awesome. You truly feel transported to another world and some of the stuff you can interact with when you’re in that world is pretty breathtaking. I can’t think of another experience like it. One of the coolest things you can do with an hour in Vegas! We’ll be taking friends to check it out when they visit.

Wow! What an amazing experience! It took us “Out of this World!” And blew our minds. We had so much fun and enjoyed the entire experience. We also got to meet Felix the designer after our experience. Try it out. It was worth every penny!

Google
Brand new immersive experience at Area15 in Las Vegas and this will quickly become the #1 show to see in Vegas, up there with The Sphere. The whole premise of intergalactic space travel 250 years in the future is mind-blowing. Everything from the exterior facade to the interior lobby that gives you the history and future of space exploration to the onboarding experience sets the stage for a truly epic virtual reality voyage. The graphics, narration from a character called The Diplmat, and an AI companion (The Fox) all guide you through the exploration of a huge spaceship (Interstellar Arc) where you learn about past space travel and mankind’s future in the stars, colonizing a planet called Cosmopolis. You get a virtual communication device on one wrist and a virtual camera on another. I took 16 photos “in world” (the max is 30) and collected a bunch of points for discovering various things in the spaceship. Again, totally mind blowing.

I went with my husband and 13 year old daughter and wasn’t totally sure what to expect walking into Interstellar Arc, but WOW it was such a blast. The space feels huge and super immersive, and there’s this cool mix of story, visuals, and interactive moments that make you feel like you’re actually part of the mission. It’s not one of those “stand and look at stuff” attractions — you actually get to do things, explore, and find little surprises everywhere. The staff was really friendly, the pacing was great, and it honestly felt like stepping into a sci-fi movie for an hour. Definitely something different to do in Vegas, and I’d 100% go again with friends just to find everything I missed the first time. If you’re looking for something fun, unique, and not just another bar or show, Interstellar Arc is absolutely worth it

Yelp
Great experience to share with colleagues! I hope to bring my family and friends another tkme. A very interactive VR experience! I definitely favored staying with the Diplomat. Appreciate having photos from our time there.

Yelp
Interstellar Arc was my very first Virtual Reality experience, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect--but I absolutely loved it! The immersive aspect completely blew me away. You're not just watching a story unfold; you're part of it. At times it even felt a bit like stepping into a video game, where you earn points for the things you do throughout the journey--like bonding with the fox, who turns out to be the diplomat and storyteller capable of transforming herself. You collect points by interacting with the world around you--approaching and petting the fox, exploring your new Cosmopolis environment, and engaging with others. There's even a camera on your hand that lets you capture photos and selfies, both solo and with your group. Communication is seamless too--you can talk into your wrist to chat with teammates, and everyone is color-coded, making it easy to stay connected. The technology is truly impressive and transports you completely into this vibrant, otherworldly universe. If you're looking to lose yourself in a fun, imaginative, and cutting-edge adventure, I can't recommend Interstellar Arc enough. You don't need to be a gamer or a VR enthusiast to be amazed by this experience--it's pure, immersive joy!

Yelp
This was my first VR experience and everyone in my group had a ton of fun with it. Even if you have a VR set at home, it's unlikely you will have the space to match the scale of what they're doing here. Tickets are very reasonably priced especially if you take advantage of the bundle-and-save option with at least 4 people. Only downside is the messy entry which may be growing pains for how new the experience is. We purchased tickets online from their website but never got an email confirmation. We showed up for our 3:30PM tickets which they were able to locate in their system, but said they were running behind by about 15 minutes. After checking back in with them several times, we ultimately did not start our experience until 4PM. They did not notify us that bags had to be stored which wasted some more time after that. The experience itself lasted about an hour long although that includes about 10-15 minutes of the staff explaining how everything will work.

Yelp
If you've never tried VR before, this is a genuinely cool experience - it'll blow you away. If you're like me and already own a Meta Quest 3 (or any recent headset), it feels a lot like just switching on immersive mode and wandering around with an extra layer of storytelling. The setup uses what appear to be custom-configured Quest 3S headsets in a safe, bounded space with handrails so you don't walk into anything. The storyline is very similar to "Postcards from Earth" at the Sphere - same kind of space travel to a new world and narration - except here you're in full VR and can freely look and move around a bit. Gentle audio and visual cues keep you on track without feeling restrictive. So, is it worth it? * If you've never done VR: absolutely, yes. * If you're already deep into VR at home: probably not - it's nice, but you've essentially experienced most of this already.

Yelp
If I could give this review more than 5 stars I would! This place is THE VR Experience. It's sooooo dope from start to finish. You're immediately immersed into the reality of Agora led by the diplomat. This is like a mashup of Ready Player One, Wall-E, and Passengers. Probably more sci-fi movies too! The microphone and photo taking capabilities could be tweaked as it got buggy at times but that didn't really phase me too much since I was just too excited to be in Agora! I thoroughly enjoyed my journey and can't wait to go back and experience this all again and try to get a higher score!

Yelp
I wasn't sure if I wanted to try this, but glad I did! I've done some VR experiences like the void by Disneyland, but this is probably the longest one I've ever done. Interstellar arc allows for a lot of exploration. The premise is that you're traveling to a new planet, and there are lots of things that you can interact with walking through the space. The team does a good job explaining how to use the headset and it was pretty easy to grasp. I recommend those who are prone to motion sickness to take motion sickness medication before you start. Even though it wasn't too bad those were afraid of heights might want to be mindful that there are scenes where it looks like you're floating in the air. Thankfully, there are lots of handrails for you to hold onto if you need to. Lots of guys around to help as well, but you should be proactive and speak up if you encounter any issues. While I didn't have any issues with my headset, one person in my group noted that she had some problems with the headset, but didn't seem to get it resolved to her satisfaction, which was unfortunate. It was also a scene near the end where our connection suddenly broke from the experience, but it seems to recover quickly. I would definitely give this a try if you're into VR and immersive experiences, especially during the soft opening. I also had an issue where none of my pictures ended up being uploaded onto my online account - and emailing them for help resulted in nothing. I will most likely be back to try to get more of the achievements. UPDATE: Gave them two weeks to try and get my photos loaded on my account, but they never got back to me. What a shame as I wanted to use them to share about the experience. So, no longer 5 stars, but still pretty good.

Yelp
Area15 just keeps growing... This was a fun experience. Even with some set backs My headset wasn't working properly at first, and it took them a little encouraging to help. They didn't explain on how to use everything. With your experience you have a set limit of 30 photos. Knowing how to access and the limit would've been good to know. We did have fun and will recommend.

Yelp
This was awesome! After being @transported to the space station we had plenty of time to leisurely explore with our "guide". It took me a minute to get my legs. Lol. You could see and talk to your group as well as take pictures. The world was beautiful and fun. I will go back.

Yelp
Interstellar Arc at AREA15 -- Mind officially blown I went in with zero expectations and left absolutely speechless. Interstellar Arc at AREA15 is a next-level, virtual-reality journey through outer space that nails every detail. The world-building, the interactivity, and the way the story pulls you in make you feel like part of the mission from start to finish. It's immersive, beautifully executed, and unlike anything I've experienced in Las Vegas. This isn't your typical Vegas entertainment and it's a fresh, cinematic adventure that exceeded every possible expectation. I can't wait to go again and I'm recommending it to everyone visiting the city. If you want something new, creative, and unforgettable, Interstellar Arc is a must.

Yelp
WHOAAAA! This new attraction is super cool. The most high tech virtual reality experience I've ever tried. Took a group of us to the galaxy tonight, space suites and all! Interstellar ARC did such a great job with the storyline, effects, and engagement! Felt out of this world traveling to a different place in time light years ahead. The little fox that guides you through the experience is so cute and would literally turn his head when you pet him. Perfect place for family, groups or even date night!

Yelp
This experience was worth the $$ the best virtual reality I've ever been in! Have fun blasting off and experiencing a new world! You only can take 30 pictures so choose wisely!

Yelp
This was truly such an amazing out of this world experience literally and figuratively. My 14yo and I absolutely loved this experience and it's worth the money. I truly felt like I was transported to another galaxy. Kids and adults will love this and it's such a unique experience for Las Vegas. It takes about 2 hours to get through the whole thing and also has a game component for those that are competitive. This is the wave of the future of entertainment and I'm so glad it's here in Vegas.

Yelp
This was amazing. This was an experience that we are going to want to do again. The complete immersion was beyond what we were expecting. It's something that you have to experience for yourself because description would not suffice.

Yelp
This was an amazing experience from beginning to end! My first VR experience and it did not disappoint.

Yelp
Attended the premiere of Interstellar Arc during a week in Vegas where I saw a Golden Knights Game at T Mobile Arena, took in the Michael Jackson Cirque du Soleil show at Mandalay Bay, and experienced the Meow World "Omega Mart" experience at Area15. All the experiences were amazing and Interstellar Arc was the best. It is cutting edge but easy to take in the experience using the VR headset technology. Mind blowing way to experience the future of space exploration aboard a starship that is bound for a new exoplanet many light years away from Earth. Different AI guides help you navigate the Interstellar Arc spaceship including "The Diplomat", "The Fox", "The Librarian" and even a holographic version of Carl Sagan, the godfather of planetary exploration. You get a virtual "communication device" on your left wrist so you can talk to anyone in your group and a virtual "camera" on your right wrist so you can take photos (in world) of what you are experiencing. I used 16 of the 30 photos allowed and after the experience I was able to access the photos, download them, and post them to my socials. Highly recommend this show to anyone visiting Las Vegas and I even took an autonomous Zoox vehicle to get to Area15 (and back) from New York New York - for free!

J L.

Yelp
Great experience but needs a MUCH better tutorial on how to use the headset. Very little info given on how the camera functioned and "press the button on your wrist to take a photo" was not accurate; when you pressed the button a menu opened and THEN you could take the photo. They didn't explain you were limited to 30 photos or that you got achievements during the experience by taking photos; I took too many photos trying to figure out the camera then couldn't take anymore, so I missed out on achievement points to take a selfie with the fox; taking photos of the view areas; etc. Maybe part of the orientation should be a tutorial on how to use the camera and to take practice photos before you start. Also, no explanation that you would get an email a few hours later with a link to the photos you took....would have tried to take better photos! This was a nice, unexpected perk. Tip - don't tighten the headset too much; you will have a headache by the end of the experience. Also, there was zero transition at the end of the experience; you just exited through the gift shop. It was an amazing & fun experience but needed something at the end. Oh - and whoever decided to use white furniture in your preshow area...maybe rethink that; there were scuff marks, shoe prints and hand prints on the not-so-pristine white leather couches.
