Google
Wow this place was so good!!! Came here with a big group of friends to try Peruvian food, most of them for the first time. Everything was DELICIOUS and the portions were huge. We go out once a month to try out a new cuisine and this was by far the best restaurant we’ve been to.

Tony A.

Google
Great neighborhood spot, the service is friendly and attentive, the food is always good, and the place is clean and well lit. We actually tried the lunch specials (MENU) for the first time, and it was good at a good price. Like always we had the Ceviche, and although it tasted good, the fish they used could have been better.

Google
Good service some food ok some tasted really good.. the green pasta didn’t really have any taste, the huancaina and caldo de gallina very tasty.. as well as the chicha but the green pasta tasted bland

Google
Went with the fam for breakfast on Sunday and food was on spot , delish but service wasn’t that good , we kept asking waiter to take our order and asking them to bring us more coffee, kinda weird, I understand it was a busy Sunday but still…but food was fantastic, flavors were there, this is a place my cousin recommended and was my 1st time eating here, we enjoyed our food, kudos to the chef at this restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Google
The food was good. However the atmosphere was underwhelming to say the least and the service needed some polishing....I would only recommend take out.

Cecilia V.

Google
Food is authentic Peruvian flavor and delicious 😋. People was very nice. The restaurant have comfortable sits. 1) Arroz con pollo 2) Chaufanita Inka cola !!

Google
Really great tasting food. Everything was made fresh and you can till. The fish has no odor and is really well cooked. Truly authentic experience and highly recommend trying out this hidden gem. Don't forget to try their flan!

Google
Food was DELICIOUS, althought its small inside the food portions dont disapoint. I went with my family and we were all starving and we all came out full defenetly recommend going if ur hungry or if u just want to support a small business. I recommend the "lomo Saltado" wich is cut up steak tossed in a pan with tomatoes and onions in a semi sweet soy sauce served with rice and fries. I also recommend the "bistec a lot pobre" with is rice, fries, fried sweet plantains, and a huge pice of thin steak wich is more like a blanket of meat.

Shayan A.

Yelp
You can tell a place is good when you see the people of that country eating there. Very good food and portions were good sized. The ceviche was fresh and flavorful. I also would rec the lomo saltado

Mateo H.

Yelp
Prices are too high for the low quality food that they serve. Well the waiter severs were exelent

Yelp
If you want authentic Peruvian food. This is the place! I came here for a family lunch after church. We were a pretty large group and they were able to accommodate us with ease. The staff was so welcoming and so kind! We ordered the ceviche mixto to start and I have never had ceviche this well prepared and this fresh! It was perfectly prepared and had a nice kick to it. (We like spicy but you can ask for it to be prepared without) For our main dish we ordered the Jalea Familial. It had fried fish, shrimp, and calamari. We also ordered a chaufa with just veggies. Everything we had down to the green sauce they include was mouth wateringly delicious. Every bite was packed with flavor! You could almost taste the love it was made with. This is def. A new staple for me for sure. Can't wait to come back

Yelp
Looking at the place doesn't look like much, but it's clean and well lit, the food was very good, and the service was excellent, if anything could have been better was that the lomo saltado needed a little more vinegar and the beef was a little over, but definitely worth the trip
google avatar

Nap S.

Yelp
It's a scams. They charged 2 ppls $10 gratuity with the meal, plus 8.625% Tax on it. And list more tip at the bottom. They just lobbed me. I like Lomo Saltado. But I won't go their again.
google avatar

Yelp
I order leche del Tigre and they give me this small container and cost 16 dollars please everyone do not go to this restaurant. It is a scam.

Yelp

Yelp
Stopped in to order a couple of chickens told I can't order until 2 o'clock. Today I called and ordered one whole chicken to go. Unfortunately the chicken was dry and under seasoned. My Peruvian wife was not impressed with the flavor. Our search for good Peruvian Roast chicken continues.

Yelp
I went with my kids for lunch today. We werent offered a lunch menu. The service was great but food took a little longer than expected. It was delicious! Note that they automatically add tip as a custom charge on the check and then it gets taxed. I asked to take it off so I can tip in cash, which I normally do but was told no option.

Yelp
Okay, this one is a little tough one. The food here is great, it's one of those experiences that is like a little "toxic" relationship. You never know what you're going to get as far as employee and customer experience, There's been times you walk in and you can wait forever without anyone acknowledging you or hosting you to take a seat or take your order or guide you or welcome you, actually there isn't a host, I think that's where it gets confusing because the place is big enough and is operated as a restaurant. Even when you walk to the counter where usually you see the staff, they all seem to just be in a world of their own and they can see you're there but it's more of a "you approach us situation". I can deal with that yet for other people it could be a little interesting, I think this place has so much potential if they had somebody running this place that could guide other waiters and employees. There isn't a warm feeling. Now the food on the other hand, it's one of my favorites. I love tallarines verdes (which is like a fettuccine with green sauce) with carne. Plates are huge and so are servings. You will definitely have a hard time finishing your plate. Prices are considerate and they run more on the almost border of a pricier side. Bathroom is okay, big enough. Place is pretty big. Desserts are great. And the house gives you some sort of peanuts and a side of a some sort of home made sauce that has a little spicy kick to it. I wish they had some other type of welcoming appetizer that's on the house but I understand it might be what is something coming from the Peruvian culture, which I'm learning more about ! Thank you and I hope this helps improve and keep certain things!

Yelp
I've enjoyed Peruvian food for some time now, having had an opportunity to visit Peru a few years ago I'm pretty well-versed in the cuisine. Inti does it justice serving delicious Pollo A la brassa and Lomo Saltado. Wash it all down with some ice cold Chicha Morada. It's like I'm back in Lima. They have a varied menu and I can't wait to try some of the other menu items including Anticucho, Ceviche and arroz Chaufa. Everything was delicious and affordable. Great service. This is one place not to be overlooked.

Yelp
If I could give zero stars I would ! Did I takeout today and order the Peruvian Fried rice ! Ask for the green Sauce and refuse to have me extra I told the woman this is an insult! They cater for there own type of people of your not from there country or speak Spanish it's such a shame ! I have order and fine there many time and this is my last time ever ! The fried rice the rice is stale also and hard food had to be thrown out I'm sorry for even paid cash cause now I won't get my money back !! Terrible food and service! Racist if your not there people especially in f you don't speak Spanish. It's ashamed what this country has and is becoming!!!

Maria B.

Yelp

Yelp
This cute little Peruvian spot in Hicksville was just what I needed at the end of a long day. I ordered the papa a la huancaina and lomo saltado. The papa was spot on with just the right amount of creamy huancaina sauce. And the lomo saltado was so flavorful; I couldn't get enough! I only wish the steak would have been better cut/cooked; some pieces were a bit tough to chew. Also, the cancha (toasted corn) was very stale. Overall, the food here was yummy and I will certainly be back.
google avatar

Jackie T.

Yelp
My family is from Peru and they absolutely love the food here. I have tried Ceviche pescado all over several states and theirs is, by far, the most tender, delicious and consistently good we have found. It's a neighborhood kind of place, nothing fancy and the interior could use some updating. But we always feel comfortable eating there and the place is usually packed with Spanish speaking families. Love it!
google avatar

Grace P.

Yelp
The food is always good, always get a round of ceviche if you decide to visit! Just be mindful that the place is very Latino, which means that they may not be English-friendly. But we are also not Spanish speakers and get by haha.
google avatar

Nelly S.

Yelp
Loved the food , not so much the service ! Wish they offered desert menu at the end of the meal, server just gave us bill with out even asking if we needed something else , they were not full , there was room for more sales ! ;)

Yelp
Great food great attention. The menu has a good lengthy list of plates and all are well served. It's not expensive tho, just make sure you leave a generous tip, that people deserves it.

Nancy A.

Yelp
Yummy food. $14. Green sauce was delicious. Will definitely order again. Friendly staff.

Yelp
Food is outstanding!!!! Mom and pops restaurant. Love it price is right, portions are good..taste juicy

Janet L.

Yelp
Hours need to be updated on Yelp. They open at 12 on Monday and not 11. The resturant is extremely spacious, so no one is on top of one another. We ordered the Causa Rellena for an appetizer. The waitress informed us that she had to double check if it was available as it's usually a weekend dish. If it's a special dish for the weekend why is it on the main menu? Luckily they did have it and it was great. My main I order the Lomo a lo inti. Dish was okay. Beef was a little rough.

Rosario G.

Yelp
mi gente, tenga cuidado con este lugar... mucho ojo y attencion con la factura... cobran 40% de propina.

Paul K.

Yelp
Very good food. Service is slooooooow. I told a waitress that everything was slow. She said, It's OK. I said no, it's not OK.
google avatar

Jeff L.

Yelp
The chicken special is fabulous. Whole chicken, two sides and a litre of soda, $20. Great food, great service. A real local favorite! You won't be disappointed!
google avatar

Jeanette L.

Yelp
My family decided to give this place a try after they weren't entirelly impressed by La Candela (another peruvian restaurant in Hicksville) and I must say we had an excellant experience. We went on a Wednesday night and the restaurant only had a few patrons. We had the Jalea to start and it was fresh and very good. From there we all ordered varying foods and it was all very good. The prices are reasonable and the wait for the food was not that bad and it was worth it. I look foward to returning here

Justin K.

Yelp
Simply amazing! We will be back. Authentic Peruvian food, delicious, fast, family-oriented atmosphere, and not even expensive! Love it.
google avatar

Raven M.

Yelp
Good Peruvian food here. Prices are reasonable and Aji is different then most places but very tasty. They also have Peruvian breakfast on the weekends. There is a parking lot in the back as well.
google avatar

Phoenix D.

Yelp
We wanted Peruvian food in the area, and we didn't care if it was from a place we've never heard of. We went in with no expectations, and came out very happy!! The food here is exactly what we look for in Peruvian cuisine, and I would happily come back here again and recommend this place to others.
google avatar

Maria I.

Yelp
Only based on the food. Great food original Peruvian flavor. Not overseasoned just right. I come here very often at least once or twice per week. Staff very friendly. The only downside is that food sometimes may take a very long time.
google avatar

Sophia D.

Yelp
I really like their food. I give them 4 stars because the food was amazing, i ordered a ceviche mixto and it was really delicious, and a lomo saltado was ok, the service was efficient and the server was kind. I consider this place as the best peruvian restaurant in long island.
google avatar

Jorge L.

Yelp
I'm very demanding when it comes to Peruvian food. Being born and raised in this wonderful country tought me what good, traditional Peruvian food is supposed to taste like. I must say that I was more than pleased with their "family Peruvian breakfast". We were six so we order the two different types of family breakfast they offered. Authentic flavor, great taste, warm/cozy environment, and outstanding service made me feel like I was back home. The salsa criolla was a tad salty, but that was the only downside. Although I only had their breakfast I recomend this place. If you guys knew me you will know that I dont recomended Peruvian places often since I always end up disappointed. Looking forward on going back, maybe this time for lunch or dinner. I hope it won't disappoint.

Lillian M.

Yelp
The food is great and the portions are quite large. My favorites are the ceviche and the roast chicken with salad, french fries and hot dog slices on top. They also have great Sangria
google avatar

Stephanie S.

Yelp
I absolutely love this restaurant!! I came here for my birthday and ordered 2 pitchers of sangrias, it so freaking good! And for the app we ordered calamari which was also delicious it was seasoned perfectly wasn't plain at all. Then we ordered cevichi de marisco which was AMAZING!! even my boyfriend who doesn't really eat seafood liked it. Then we ordered jalea that thing is freaking huge!!! Not an app I think 4 people can eat it and be good. It comes with french fries, calamari, fried fish, fried crabs, and fried mussels mmm so freaking good. Then my entree was lomo salado which was amazing of course I couldn't finish it and the prices??? The prices are amazing! I will definitely be coming back here more often lol it's a small restaurant nothing fancy but very clean
google avatar

Jose C.

Yelp
Great food and not expensive. I recommend to everyone who love Spanish (peruvian) food like myself. I have been going back with my family and staffs are really friendly.
google avatar

Liz G.

Yelp
Terrible service. Obnoxiously long wait times for service in an EMPTY restaurant. I ordered Papa Huancaina and asked for extra sauce (I love that stuff). The waiter said they only give sauce per order and if I wanted a little extra sauce it would be 3$ (whatever its 3$..) but any other Peruvian restaurant would never charge me extra or give me an issue. The Lomo also was not close to being in the top 5 lomos I ever had. Only come here if you are DYING for Peruvian food (as I was). Whoever thinks this is the 'Best' Peruvian food they ever had needs to get their taste-buds and standards in check.
google avatar

Marcella D.

Yelp
The food was so good! I had to order some to take home! And the sangria is on point. I could not put my fork down. I went there for dinner with my mom and I agree with everyone about the staff being friendly, but slow. We could not figure out who our waitress was. We heard about this place from a friend who loves Peruvian food. It def tasted authentic and inexpensive which was awesome.
google avatar

Gina D.

Yelp
Gross. We just relocated to the area and wanted to give the place a try since it's a short walk away. We walked into an empty restaurant with the servers sitting in a booth talking. Ignored for a minute but they eventually got up and had us pick a spot to sit. The reviews looked pretty good so we decided to still give it a try. The server recommended a few dishes so we ordered. My husband decided to use the restroom before the food arrived. When he went to the bathroom, he witnessed the Asian cook use the restroom and not wash his hands. We let the server know that we weren't going to eat in a facility where the staff doesn't wash their hands when they handle food for a living. She understood and walked to the back as we left.
google avatar

Ronnie H.

Yelp
This is the best Peruvian restaurant in the Hicksville area! La Candela is good but sometimes can be too pricy. The food at Inti restaurant is amazing! Never had a bad order. The best thing is the combo. One of combo consist of a whole chicken, rice, beans, salchipapas, sweet plantains, and a salad, to share with the whole family up to 5 or 6 even, if split up nicely. But the one star missing is because of bad service and waiting time for food. There's two waiters for the whole restaurant. There's too many tables for just two waiters to take care of. Also they aren't that experience. One thing that keeps happening is you have to make sure you tell them you want ceviche and the Jalea first before the meal instead of the end. It's common to have those plates as a starter. But the one waiter gave us the combo first and then the ceviche and Jalea. Which we were too full to eat so we had to cancel. But other than that. This is the place to go for good Peruvian food!
google avatar

Dan D.

Yelp
This is probably my favorite Peruvian resto in long island. The food was amazing. The choros a la chalaca were so delicious i thought i was back in lima. The jalea was fresh and plentiful. The lomo saltado well season and tender. The people are very friendly and accommodating. Took my mom for mothers day and she was very impressed with the food and the service. Only think i could recommend is the dessert menu.
google avatar

Sheena V.

Yelp
I love Peruvian food. The decor is nice, rest room is clean, food is yummy. The tallarines verdes, to the lomo saltado taste way better than La Candela Restaurant, located also in Hicksville, NY (my opinion). That's why this place stays packed. However, the service is slow, but they are friendly & they need more tables because once its packed; they loose out on customers. Once these two things are fixed, then this place will be A-Ok. They have live bands sometimes on weekends too. Best time to go really is during the week if you wanna try their food.
google avatar

Victoria C.

Yelp
Excellent peruvian food, i always get their lunch specials. The staff are friendly and the prices are just right. Definitely we'll be back again!!
google avatar

Cathy L.

Yelp
This place recently got a really nice face-lift. And the food remains really good. True authentic Peruvian food. We always get the ceviche and seafood dishes which are all really nice. I also enjoy their chicha morada. The service at times can get a little slow but the food makes up for it.

Lina R.

Yelp
Very good food in the area was required by a good Peruvian restaurant, I recommend it delay a little to serve but it is worth waiting for all the fresh food
google avatar

Marie S.

Yelp
Had breakfast/lunch. Food was authentic tasting and inexpensive. I strongly recommend this place if you are looking for the real deal Peruvian food. Will go back for the food, without a doubt! Cons: Wait time was unnecessarily long for a slow Sunday morning.
google avatar

J E.

Yelp
Food was good. Service is slow. I like the ceviche at La Candela better. You can bring your own wine which is nice.
google avatar

Luis R.

Yelp
Slow and rude service. Their signature dish, the Lomo Saltado, was mediocre at best. Descent sized portion but, and their are lots of buts. Steak was over cooked and chewy. The potatoes were under cooked. I asked for the check and was rudely told by the waitress Marilu that the minimum was $20. I didn't have cash and would not expect a restaurant to have a charge minimum. She escalated the issue and another woman said, fine just run it. A few seconds later she throws the bill jacket on the table, walks away, without a thank you. 10% tip was well deserved.
google avatar

Rossana V.

Yelp
This is our favorite Peruvian restaurant in Long Island. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Most importantly the food is delicious if ever unsure of what to order you can't go wrong with their Lomo. My favorite is the Papa a la huancaina (sliced boiled potatoes with a creamy cheese sauce) by far the best sauce I've ever had!
google avatar

Tanhya A.

Yelp
We have been going here for over a year it is 100% better then La Candela in Hicksville. I must say the ceviche the Jalea and the Lomo Saltado and The Green Pasta is to die for. They also have an amazing chocolate coconut cake. The prices are great and the portion sizes are huge. If I had something negative to say it would be that the service is a bit slow other than that all the employees are so friendly and super accommodating. We always come for lunch, celebrations, social events and dinner.
google avatar

Alfredo D.

Yelp
Came here once with 3 friends and the food was amazing! Unfortunately i have not been back, shame on me, but i will definately try to go again.
