Absolutely, here’s a strong, honest, and detailed Google review written from your perspective as a tenant. It’s designed to warn potential renters while sharing the full scope of your experience: ⸻ ⭐ 1-Star Review for The Lofts (Managed by Asset Living) I would not recommend living here to anyone—please read this before signing a lease. I’m a current resident at The Lofts and this place has gone completely downhill due to poor management and ongoing negligence. The most recent (and scariest) example is that multiple cars—including mine—were broken into in our garage overnight. I had items stolen and had to file a police report. Why? Because the garage door has been broken for MONTHS and management refuses to fix it. No updates. No timeline. No communication. No security. This could’ve been way worse—what if someone had a weapon? What if a resident walked in during the break-in? It’s outrageous that rent is expected on time when our safety clearly isn’t a priority. But unfortunately, that’s just one of many ongoing issues: • ROACHES. They’re everywhere, and management doesn’t seem to care or have any consistent pest control plan. • NO A/C. I’ve been waiting for a functioning air conditioning unit to be installed in my unit and despite multiple requests in-person, over the phone, and through email, nothing has been done. • MAINTENANCE IGNORES REQUESTS. My closet has been falling apart, and even after multiple complaints, still no response or fix. • ZERO COMMUNICATION. You can call, email, or even walk in, and you’ll get the same thing: silence or false promises. What frustrates me the most is how this building is presented. They put just enough polish on the outside to make it look “lofty” and appealing, but underneath it’s falling apart. They’re more concerned with leasing units than maintaining livable conditions for actual tenants. It’s a setup. You move in and realize no one is truly listening or working to fix anything. If you value your peace, your safety, and your money—look elsewhere.

Urging everyone to be thorough before deciding to move here. On top of annoying and unprofessional management, the units are dirty EVEN after renovating. Several cars are broken into on a weekly basis, as recent as last week, the elevators do not work most of the time, so you are forced to take several flights of stairs down if you want to leave the building. The pool that is advertised on the website hasn’t been operational in years. It’s actually a filthy uncovered hole at this point harboring insects and bacteria. Tenants are loud and aggressive, and Goodluck getting anything fixed if you have a maintenance request. Find a better use for your money and don’t walk, RUN from the lofts at Intown. Every other tenant I’ve spoken to is very unhappy here but trapped in a lease

Hidden Gem – So Glad I Gave It a Chance! I feel so lucky to have found this place. Honestly, if I had gone solely by the reviews, I might have walked away — but I’m really glad I gave it a chance. From the beginning, the experience has been great. The staff is very professional, especially Mr. Param (I hope I’m spelling that right). He seems to be the main person there every time I visit, and he’s been consistent, helpful, and professional throughout the whole process. I have an amazing view of the city from my place, and the property grounds are always clean and well-maintained. Everyone I’ve come across so far has been nice and respectful. If you’re on the fence like I was — give it a shot. It really is a hidden gem.

BEWARE!!!!The worst place to live!!!!! I lived here for a year and was forced to move due to bug infestation takeover, homeless people sleeping in the hallways and treating the stairwell like a bathroom:( I put in five tickets to get some repairs done in my apartment which never happened!!! Only one elevator works 5 percent of the time, out of the two in the building. Oh and the maintenance man does not do maintenance lol!!! Please do not invest your time planning to call this place home for any amount of time!!!! Your welcome.

I've been staying here since October 2021. I HATE IT. When I moved in all I did was sign the first page of the lease that was it because Cantrell never printed out the rest, They were painting when I moved in. The carpet was dirty af and looked like it was never replaced. Cantrell Mattox promised me a new carpet before all my furniture came. Never got it. When new management (Columbia Residential) took over, nobody ever noticed my lease wasn't completely signed but they noticed I had credits on my account that I couldn't see because I didn't have access to the portal and some of my payments were "missing". I resigned because of prices and when I did it was "free" for October. When I had money in my resident account. Didnt receive access to the resident portal until November 2022. The elevator always broke, the staircase always dirty, and the pool never opened because it was leaking in the garage. Can't make online payments anymore. Staff flirty (if you are attractive you will be asked to go out for tacos and tequila.) I downsized to the other building In October 2023 because I thought it would be better. I bombed my apartment 4 times and I sprayed every week because of bugs. My A/C went out last week of May. The part came for them to fix it on July 1 but it's still not fixed. 1 star for location because Uber/Lyft is cheap and it's close to my job and places I enjoy. Oh yeah corporate don't answer phone calls or emails either. But if you looking for something for now, you get what you pay for. update: They let me out of my lease (yay me) BBBBUUUTTT I had to move out within 3 days. Even though I did have til the 31st, they told me if i did not pay they would file eviction on me. (how are you going to file on somebody that's leaving anyway) Anywho They say I owe 559, I have a $500 security deposit that they are refusing to use =). And i have an open report with code enforcement that yall can find using Accela.

I’ve been here since June, it was great when I first moved in however….this apartment has what appears to be mold, maintenance does not address work orders, I’ve seen 3 roaches this week in my kitchen area / bathroom and I’ve seen rats outside at night. Tailgate parties are extremely loud on game day Sundays, the brewery downstairs also has loud parties occasionally. I don’t come from this type of living…and I’m moving out very soon. Update: I’ve been spraying this apartment every 1-2 weeks and I still see roaches 😩 I’m so sad about this. 1 star because I can’t give zero and the office staff is nice.

My 1 star review before was probably unfair. I liked my actual apartment fine, but maintenance was relatively poor compared to most apartments I've been in, front office staff was rude while I lived there (2016-2017), and stuff was constantly broken. Husband's car windows busted into while he was visiting because there is no protected guest parking and it's a high crime area. Management took 100+ days to return my security deposit even though the apartment was spotless, and GA law requires it to be <30 days.

Update: Miss Sonja called me and setup a viewing, her and Kenneth were very nice and accommodating. The lofts are a good size for the price and area. Hope to be renting with them soon. The company should really re-set up the answering service or voicemail, it would really would help with future renters. Especially with the staff have to show units. I have no choice but to believe the reviews. I've tried calling this company for days to lease a loft, no one answers the phone and the answering service is no longer available. I guess I have look elsewhere.

Yelp
This is the most unprofessional residency in Atlanta. I will tell you why 1) the garage door in the 2nd parking lot is ALWAYS broken. Leaving anyone to waltz right in and do whatever they want. 2) Online it says they are open until 5 Monday - Saturday BUT they ARE NEVER there! 3) For "emergencies" they only have 1 Maintenance guy on call which could take hours to be attended too. 4) The security cameras, HALF OF THEM dont work. 5) The elevator hasnt been inspected since last year and it has constant problems all the time. 6) IVE BEEN HARASSED INFRONT OF ONE OF THESE BROKEN CAMERAS AND MANAGEMENT STILL HAS BOT RETURNED MY PHONE CALL TO EVEN ADDRESS THE ISSUE. 7) There is no way for Mail carriers to get in the building after hours leaving unnessasary inconvenience for whoever is expecting something in the mail. There is so much more but honestly I'm hoping that the owners see this review and actually put people in management positions who care about the tenants. Why take the job if you arent going to do it.

Yelp
I would never recommend this place to anyone interested in moving here. If you are seeking car break ins, maintenance request that goes unanswered, broken old none safe gym equipment, and rude disrespectful property managers like Ms. Charnette then this would be the place for you. This apartment has been nothing but an expense since moving here. I had to pay $150 to get my car repaired for break-in that leasing made no efforts to help cover. Their response to break ins is that crime happens everywhere but I think as a human being you would like to feel safe coming in and out of your home regardless of what time of the day it is. Not only that but it is just not safe and extremely dangerous to come home in the middle of the night and encounter a robber or theft who is armed with a weapon and catches you off guard. This place is extremely unsafe and dangerous and if you are a parent looking to move your child here for college I would avoid this place at all cost. Recently since I have escalated my concerns to upper management I have been getting retaliated against by Ms. Charnette who purposely called a booting company to have my car booted. Its weird because when my car was broken into and damaged someone from the office not only called me but was also at my door so it is a bit strange to me herself nor her staff came knocking this time around. Also randomly on the morning of 10/03/2017 my hot water was off and my bill was current. Due to the lack of response from maintenance my water heater broke after I put several request to get fixed and when I contacted Ms. Charnette she had a bad attitude about it and would not take or receive my calls. It was a extremely delayed process to just get hot water. So if you want to deal with these issues and poor management then this is the place for you.

Yelp
I would never recommend this place to anyone. The leasing staff is one of the worst I have have ever worked with. They are extremely unprofessional, unorganized, and unreliable. Promises will be made to get you to move in and they will not be followed through with once you get into your unit. The amenities that you will be paying for will never be to the standard they should be: Pool - opened many weeks late, Gym - machines constantly broken, Garage - the automatic door is broken on a regular basis (meaning your car/valuables will be exposed), Exterior doors - as well as the garage, these are not working constantly, meaning anyone will have access to the building. Not to mention that they offer units that are not "move-in ready" and will expect you pay while you are not receiving what you should. I lived in my unit for 52 days, in the summer, without functioning air-conditioning and this was a unit that was "move-in ready." The air-conditioning did not work the day I moved in. The price you will be paying will not amount to the service/amenities/space you receive.

Yelp
I have been living here at Intown Loft for 2 years now. Management doesn't seem to care when you have an issue, and they sure do take their time addressing basic things like maintenance needs. They seem to have no structure. The fallen ventilation system in the garage is a safety hazard and has not been dealt with for over 6 months now, like come on! The rooftop terrace that was supposed to be opening a few months after I moved in 2 years ago and have yet to see it open. The pool area is a joke, kiddy pool four feet deep maybe 15' by 15' in size. Vents fell down in garage and were not fixed for months, just laid in parking spaces. The vents were taking away many spaces for parking. The garage door always breaks, causing non-tenants to park inside and people to come in a brake into cars as well. I just had my car broken into two weekends ago. I came home to a car in the garage with broken windows costing 200+ to repair with unhelpful people in the Front office stating they are not responsible at the "gate" is a courtesy they provide and not their responsibility. My roommate's car and 8 others cars have also been broken into like a few months ago prier to mines being broken into with no action from the complex. Front desk is extremely unprofessional and unhelpful with solving any issues Tennant's bring to them. Tenants are never updated on the status of repairs, etc. Rent is more expensive than the apartment it's worth (considering people have been shot and killed in the area, and a car was stolen and rammed into a light pole.) They just spent a lot of money to repaint this building but can pay to fix the gate or keep its residents safe.
