I always order here through Too Good To Go, and the problem with that is that leftover sushi is always stale. I cannot provide a fair assessment of the taste, but it's good enough that I keep ordering it, however, and the cheap price cannot be beaten. Bonus for making use of old food and not throwing it away.

Tasty fully cooked sushi! The crunchy rolls were my favorite. The blend of sauces and crunchy breadcrumbs made for a beautiful and delightful roll. The spicy California rolls are indeed spicy, but scraping some sauce off made them good for my wimpy Minnesotan palette. The included wasabi and pickled radish were also too hot for me, but that means they're perfect for more adventurous sushi eaters. Service is fast.

So happy I discovered this place!! I ordered from Too Good To Go, and got tons of sushi. It’s delicious and I will definitely be going back!!

Google
We ordered with the Too Good To Go app, so this is yesterday's sushi, lol. We got a LOT of sushi, over two pounds for about $7. The fish was fresh but the rice was hard and the avocado was a little discolored. Otherwise it was ok, and a very good value.

Absolutely love getting sushi from here - Recently I discovered the app “Too Good To Go” where for only $15, I was able to get nearly $100 worth of day old sushi. This has been an excellent place to visit, staff are always incredibly kind and grateful. I will return.

I was excited to try this new restaurant inside Midtown Global Market, and it didn’t disappoint! Decent variety of sushi (maki) (cooked and raw), sashimi, and other Japanese foods. I had the Salmon Poke Bowl, which was fabulous!! Fresh salmon (good portion), lots of avocado and fresh veggies. Made in front of my eyes and so tasty. I will be back.

I was walking around the market when I saw this place and realised I haven’t had Sushi in a long time. I had the chance to try a wide selection of products and everything was AMAZING. I am now back in my hotel room with a happy face and a full tummy. Every single time I come to Minneapolis for work I’ll 100% stop by this shop again.

Google
Sushi Cali rolls was decent enough for the price. Poke bowl was yummy. Had a good deal.

Yelp
Great location inside Midtown Global Market. The service was quick and friendly; perfect for a quick lunch. The food was ok, but only on par with grocery store deli sushi.

Yelp
They participate in the Too Good to go program. I came on Saturday July 6, 2024 around 1:00 PM. One of my pictures shows them preparing the food fresh.

Yelp
Very friendly staff, they make everything fresh. I ordered in person to go. I waited about ten minutes for my food and planned to come back to pick up but an employee found me inside the market and they brought it right to me. I love midtown global markets vibe. It's like a good hall that plays music sometimes and has lots of open seating. You can get anything from boba to sushi! They have a pay lot for parking it was about $2.50 for 60 minutes I believe.

Yelp
I've gotten 2 too good to go orders from Intown sushi and both have been pretty good! It's a great value for the food, and I love that everything is made fresh. Service is always speedy as well.

Yelp
Good roll! I tried the Hawaii roll and enjoyed it - Especially for being a pre-made roll I thought that the quality was great, and it was super convenient. They had a very nice variety of options - Next time I visit, I think I'll order a fresh roll so I can compare!

Yelp
Picked up some food off of Too Good to go which is generally day old or end of day items. The amount and quality of things we got were great. The food looked and tasted delicious. While it would obviously be better ordered fresh, I would definitely recommend this place. There was only one person working so be prepared to wait just a bit, but it's not a long wait overall.

Yelp
Intown Sushi was a wonderful experience! The service is amazing. Both the workers there were so kind. They gave me extra sauce and told me if I needed anything else that I shouldn't hesitate to ask. I also later bought a water bottle from the store and the other worker thanked me profusely for coming to their store. The poke bowl was not build-your-own but had everything that I normally get which was perfect. The bowl was fresh and the avocado was a great addition. I might skip on the wasabi for next time though:)

Yelp
He's just not that Intown you. Whenever I am Intown, I have to get some Intown Sushi okay that's not really true. The sushi is not bad but I also think it's a little bit average as far as Sushi goes. They put quite a lot of avocado in a lot of their roles. I mean rolls. But a lot of Hipster actors put a lot of Avocado in their roles, too. It's definitely not aimed at authentic Sushi lovers but at Americanized Sushi eaters which is most of what you get in here cuz it's a tourist place. It's not a destination for Asian people, it's a destination for all sorts of tourists, so they definitely aim at the wider market and the tourist market and the hipster market - and that's what it tastes like to me. Pretty basic hipster sushi with fairly average prices but maybe just over average for a little stand in a market.

Yelp
Decent considering you are not at a sit down restaurant. The fish was not too bad. Price was slightly higher than average compares to other same style sushi places. It took way longer than expected between the moment I put in an order till I get the food.

Yelp
My favorite sushi place ever. I'm so lucky that i can walk here when ever i want and order sushi from here. Customer service is great. The lady who always services me is my favorite person ever, she's the sweetest. The quality of sushi and the price is the perfect amount. 10/10

Yelp
I finally stopped here after walking by it for a long time. They have a ton of fresh grab and go sushi that is very reasonably priced and they also have a decent menu of other options. I ordered the (3 for $7.99) teriyaki chicken steam buns that had fresh veggies, avocado, chicken and lettuce as well as a couple of sauces on top- absolutely delicious! I can't wait to try the other options as well as the sushi.

Yelp
Excellent sushi. We were looking for a place with a great quality:price ratio and we found it! We ordered the Color roll, dragon roll, and Chef's special. The color roll and dragon roll did feel a bit like inexpensive filler but they were nonetheless satisfying. The Chef's special was nice as well though I didn't like the eel nigiri, it was much bonier than the previous times I've had eel. Other than that, the tuna and salmon nigiri couldn't have had higher quality for the price and the crunchy/rainbow/color rolls were enjoyable. 10 pieces for 10 bucks for the dragon rolls is more than fair. We aren't sure how the deal is for the chef's special. I would say its worth getting the nigiri but my husband would rather buy two sets of the Maki rolls. It doesn't seem to change you much money at the end of the day to do a combo because the cost of the nigiri alone is ~2.50 per piece whereas the nigiri is sold as part of the combo is still ~2.50/piece. I personally would still go for it since it isn't any more expensive and it's nice to try different types of nigiri you normally wouldn't order for yourself. Including a 20% tip, we paid 50 bucks but we were more than stuffed at the end. Getting a comparable meal at Kyoto sushi ran ~71 bucks for two at dinner hour. Well worth the price, certainly just as good, if not better fish quality.

Yelp
I LOVE this little spot! I've never actually eaten there in person but I always order through Uber Eats. This is my go-to spot when I have a craving for sushi but don't want to spend $20 per roll. The quality of the sushi isn't that bad at all and for the price, you can't beat it! Each roll is 10 pieces!

Yelp
Just had Intown for the first time and loved it! Great prices but just as great quality as more expensive Twin Cities sushi restaurants I have tried. 4 stars ONLY because pick up was not ready when scheduled and had to wait a bit.

Yelp
This place is such a gem for Midtown Global Market! My first time I had a tuna poke bowl and it was so good, super fresh. My second time there I ordered steamed pork buns without looking at the menu and not realizing pork wasn't even an option! The lady working didn't even say anything to me and they made them anyways and they were fantastic. I will no doubt be back again just for those. The same lady has been working the register and line both times I have been there and she has been so nice and accommodating. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Yelp
The dragon roll and spicy shrimp tempura was to die for, would definitely recommend this restaurant to family and friends

Yelp
the first time I went there the customer service was excellent, and the sushi was prepared properly. The second time I went there, the customer service was very subpar and my order wasn't exactly what I asked for. The third time I went there, I ordered something already made and the person at the counter was not attentive. I had to ask for a bag.

Yelp
I like the food very much. I try to come here during business hours and it's often closed??? WTF especially on Sundays.

Okay C.

Yelp
used to love this place because of how fresh their salmon was. i would order rolls and salmon sashimi until they started giving me chunks of salmon as sashimi. the salmon that is cut into a rectangular shape to be used in rolls. it was extremely unappetizing and honestly an attack on sashimi
