The Football Fans' Food Guide to Jacksonville, Florida

"If you’re in town without tickets, this family-friendly brewpub a few blocks from the stadium is a go-to: they have 21 taps pouring local beer and a game-day menu of burgers, cheese curds, pulled pork sandwiches, and McLaren’s favorite—the King Street Brat, a pork bratwurst cooked in King Street Stout topped with slow caramelized onions and Jon Boat Ale mustard—and there are plenty of TVs plus a rooftop bar with great stadium and jumbotron views." - Carrie Honaker

The Best Breweries in Jacksonville, Florida | Eater Miami

"Near TIAA Bank Field, home of the Jacksonville Jaguars, is longstanding brewery Ale Works. It offers more than a dozen different beers at a time in its taproom from amber ales and sours to IPAs and stouts, but its real stars are its seasonal IPAs and sours. One sour that’s not to be missed is the cherry-lime sour, which takes most people back to their childhood drinking cherry limeade."

Really great place. Really great beer served by great people. Big credit as they had 2 non-alcoholic beers available. Thank you for that! The food here is also on point. Its bar food but its rrally good and all beer themed and seasoned.

Disappointed after a Jags game, our party of 8 dispersed and my wife and I were the last two at the table finishing our drinks and we were approached by a very condescending employee that told us we needed to leave. Most of the group that left had full beers that they left at the table but my wife and I stayed to finish our drinks. The bartenders were happy to sell the beers to our group at 6:25 PM. We mentioned that the bar said last call was 6:30 and they closed at 7:30. Keep in mind that this was at 6:40 PM when this conversation took place. He was entirely condescending and said “you would think that the chairs on the table would be a clue that we were closed”. I said that the bar told us the closing time was 7:30 and the employee said “well you’re not very observant are you?” We honestly thought he was joking but he was not. He said “ I know it says we close at xxxxx time online but we opened early so we are closing early”. As a jags season ticket holder and someone that really wants down town to be a viable place for people to congregate, I’m absolutely appalled at how we were treated tonight. I understand that businesses close early but his arrogance absolutely ruins a good thing that this business has going for them. I did not get this guys name but I wish I did. I do not believe he was a manager and was more of a bouncer. The disconnect between the bar staff and the manager/bouncer staff made this experience one of the worst. I do believe this was a rouge incident that wanted to “hang out with their friends”. As we were told to leave, there were 10 people at the bar still drinking and after we left the business the door was locked behind us. Bars can do what they want but this was a really bad look. Do not expect the posted business hours to be correct and don’t expect any respect from the management at this establishment. It’s sad because we brought friends that we told about this place. We will not be recommending this place moving forward because we would never want our friends to be treated that way. Jacksonville needs to do better to revitalize their down town. Customers of the Four Seasons will bury this place immediately if they received this customer service.

I tried the Der Kaiser and the Enterprise ESB. Both were excellent. I also had a great burger with fries. My daughter had a hot dog which she said was good. They have a bar area with a rooftop which was really nice. They also have beer hall

I went in after the jags game and bought 10 beers for my family. They said they closed at 7:30 but while drinking out beers at about 6:30 was last call and we all had full beers. They told us to get out while trying to drink the remainder of her beers. We are locals and loved this place. I can’t even believe this happen especially for paying customers

Beer here is on point for sure. Bartender knew his stuff and made great recommendations. Even went out of his way to let us try stuff not on the menu. Cool place and great beer!

I love Ben’s Butt! No really he’s a pulled pork sandwich. Lol. The drafts are fantastic. Try the piano 🎹 tie draft. The party wave. And all the IPAs are very full of flavor and rich smooth finishes. The burger is amazing. And the staff are very kind and helpful. Don’t forget to take in the view from upstairs on the roof top. Don’t worry they have an elevator too. Enjoy 😉

Great place to enjoy a cold one. They have a wonderful selection of craft beer. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. They also operate as a venue for all your business and social needs. The attached pictures are from such an event. The lighting and the florals were provided and designed by Gardners Florist, in Ortega.
