"‘Seasgair’ means ‘warm and cosy’ in Gaelic, and diners certainly feel cosseted in the impressive Inverlochy Castle. Begin with an aperitif in the Grand Hall, accompanied by a harpist. Once seated in one of the elegant dining rooms, the 5-course set menu is served to everyone at the same time. Dishes are refined and full of flavour, and Michel Roux Jr’s influence sees a few French touches added into the Scottish mix." - Michelin Inspector

Yelp
This is absolutely a gem of a boutique hotel. It is absolutely sumptuous and grand. Lord Mc Delouney paid an honorable visit but no rooms were free and the restaurant was full. It is with great displeasure that I could only admire the splendor of the site without the pleasure of a stay. William was kind and helpful with us.

Yelp
Stuffy, mediocre, beautiful location but the staff and patrons are the worst of the worst

Yelp
4/8/23- checked in with a quick taxi drive and took about 5 minutes. Very nice staff and very professional. Greeters took out bags from the taxi and brought up to the room. Class act here. Staying here for 2 nights. Inside is fantastic and is so is the outside. Will post more later. Here are some photos.

Yelp
Stayed here for four nights . This is a five star experience from the perspective of service and dining. The atmosphere is like Dowton Abbey ! This is not a place to stay if you are on a budget but it delivers a refined and personal experience that you will find in few places. Eleanor and her staff provided us with a memorable stay

Yelp
We stayed at the Inverlochy Castle whilst on our honeymoon in Scotland and highly recommend it. The staff were incredibly welcoming and quick to answer all of our questions and even helped us coordinate the send-off of an at-home CoVID test that we were required to take during our international travel. The scenery around the castle is absolutely breathtaking (especially if you are from North Texas) and watching the deer walk across the glen during the early morning mist with the mountains in the background was sublime. The autumn colors definitely helped, so we highly recommend going during the fall. We loved both the dinner (though we felt overdressed compared to the other guests since I wore a full suit rather than a suit jacket), but the breakfast was the best part.

Yelp
Inverlochy Castle is an amazing place to stay for a few nights outside of Edinburgh if you are looking to explore the Scottish countryside. The property itself is located just outside of Fort William but is in a nicely secluded loch-side location. The hotel grounds are beautiful and there is a working farm next door that gives one the chance to see some beautiful lambs up close. The castle proper has ~18 rooms along with two sitting areas for guests to mingle and enjoy drinks, coffee or casual meals. The formal dining room is where both breakfast and formal dinner are served. The formal dinner is either a 3 course or 6 course meal. I had the 3 course (75GBP...not incl. wine) and it was simply amazing. Of note, the formal dinners are for adults only Breakfast was also a wonderful affair, with plenty of options including eggs Benedict, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, etc...all made to order. You also have your choice of breakfast served in your own room. For evening entertainment, there is also a billiards room. During the day, there is also plenty of fresh fruit placed throughout the hotel. The service was also close to perfect throughout my staff. I will most certainly be back...and already look forward to my next stay.

Yelp
Wow! Where to begin... Recent visit with my wife on our honeymoon from the States... The train journey from Glasgow into Fort William was surreal and the eventual drive onto the property felt like something straight out of a Hollywood movie. The staff are top notch - with a welcoming experience in line with the most pristine big-city 5-star hotels. The overall ambience is hard to describe - with part old world opulence and modern luxury. The captured photographs will tell tales for a lifetime. The dinner was stunning with a level of service fit for Kings and Queens. The only critique to be found is the lack of central air which made the unusually warm night especially hot for sleeping. Regardless, between the parked Rolls Royce and picturesque scenery, it would be hard to envision a more 'ornate' destination.

Yelp
We had to cancel our stay due to Covid travel restrictions still not being lifted in Scotland. Inverlochy Castle Hotel, unlike all other hotels we had booked, does not offer neither refund of prepaid nights nor postponement of stay!

Yelp
What a beautiful and charming place. If we are ever given the opportunity to return to Scotland we will visit Inverlochy Castle again. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable, the entire staff was lovely and the dining and entertainment is the perfect environment to enjoy the Scottish highlands in. We stayed a few days and loved our accommodations. We enjoyed tea in the sitting room one afternoon and were quite impressed by the beautiful and delicious breakfast selections. The perfect experience. Would return in a heartbeat.

Yelp
Inverlochy castle is a step back in time with the elegantly furnished rooms. The beautiful drawing room captivated my heart. Full of romance, and sophisticated elegance. We marvelled at the antiques all around from the clock on the mantle to the rugs under our feet. The plush soft furnishings and decor were stunning with a very clever mix of pattern and colour. The daylight shimmering through the large windows embraces this place with a passion this beautiful halo of light creates such a bright airy feel to this amazing room. The view is stunning with such beautiful gardens. Looking further you can cast your eye over the green fields where the sheep and highland cows graze by a stunning lake that looks like a glass mirror reflecting the sky. The staff were a pure delight so friendly genuine and helpful. They absolutely pulled all stops out to make sure we enjoyed our visit. Our afternoon tea was delivered so elegantly, gorgeous sandwiches served on silver platters followed by an array of decedent cakes, to many to mention. Inverlochy castle was a fantastic choice of venue to celebrate my mums birthday for afternoon tea. We were all made to feel so special while soaking in the gorgeous surroundings enjoying one magical experience in the most romantic stunning setting of inverlochy castle. They are open for lunch, dinner or high tea or maybe an overnight reservation in their elegant beautiful rooms. Highly recommended and if a picture paints words just view my photographs. Of this wonderful castle. Thank you Jane (manageress) you made our visit sensational, very welcoming and a day we won't ever forget.

Yelp
Staying and dining at the Inverlochy was a very special experience. Over the top luxury in every way, in an amazingly beautiful setting.

Yelp
Perfect for a Wedding or a weekend getaway. Inverlochy Castle Hotel has a distinct Scottish Ambiance that is comforting with it's old world grace and charm.Flew into Inverness and drove along Loch Ness(No Sighting!) to a timeless place called Fort William,It is impossible not to think and imagine the time of William Wallace and Robert The Bruce,a heroic bloody past that defined this proud, independent land. The staff has that "No Problems" Wry Scottish twinkle with a touch of local humor.Ask about the best local pubs for fresh seafood straight out of and on the Loch a short drive away. Also, ask about "The Factors Cottage" on the Estate for a more casual stay at an economical price.

Yelp
Truly a magical place. The food, service, and ambience are unmatched. We had a wonderful few days here while we explored the Jacobite Steam Train and a drive up to Glencoe.

Yelp
We enjoyed a nice meal in a lovely location, but it wasn't special enough to warrant the price, and the service was good but not spectacular- we had to ask for water refills numerous times. If you want to have a meal in special ambience, perhaps go here for high tea and save your money

Yelp
Awesome experience! Fantastic castle setting and the food was off the charts! Stacy, from Australia, provided the best dinner service ever. Don't go to the Scottish Highlands without visiting the castle!
