"Take a seat at the counter and admire the chefs weaving their culinary magic as you peruse the knock-out wine list. Next, chef Burssens will demonstrate why French cuisine continues to enjoy such a stellar reputation – a truly invincible combination. Despite the relatively concise menu, it’s really difficult to make your choice from the range of generous dishes and subtle yet distinctive flavours." - Michelin Inspector

A masterclass in bold, no-nonsense cooking. Top-quality meats, rich sauces, and deep flavours, all prepared in the the open kitchen’s fire.

Absurdly overpriced. But also the best bread in town. We waited for over an hour for our main dish, and the waiter claimed the most absurd excuses. Steak was great although 50% of it was just fat. Wine was good - overpriced but well recommended as the pairing for our food. So much greatness around this snobby spot - if you come to Antwerp, you can do better.

Sat in the left bar room. Small menu, I wished there would have been a white meat or fish for 1 choice. Had artichoke and asparagus starters - average for the season specialty and the starter crab cake - excellent. Service was attentive and very good.

Best restaurant in Belgium. Staff is the most welcoming we ever experienced. Top quality products prepared with love. Tasty wines. Every detail is taken care of. Open kitchen. Highly recommended! 🏆❤️‍🔥🙌🏻

My recent lunch at Invincible in Antwerp was a delightful journey through classic cuisine with a contemporary twist. 🌟 The standout starter was undoubtedly the Toast Bouilliesalade, a dish that set a high bar for the meal. Other starters, we savored the Pasta Pancetta and the Salmon, each dish expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. 🐟🍝 The Boeuf Stroganoff, a surprising take on the traditional stew, retained all the classic flavors, offering a unique yet satisfying experience. 🥘 But the real star of the show was the Beef Wellington - an absolute perfection in every bite. 🥩 The wine list is impressively extensive, catering to all preferences, and adds to the sophisticated ambience of the restaurant. 🍷 The staff’s warm hospitality and the use of quality ingredients in every dish made our dining experience memorable. I highly recommend Invincible to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience in Antwerp. You won’t be disappointed! 👍”

English: I can only say WOW! Two of my friends and I saw this place here on Google Maps, and because of the quite good ratings and our wish of eating our first good steak in Belgium we went here. We had 50 minutes for eating, because we where part of a Austrian school trip. As soon as we entered the comftable building we where welcomed by a very friendly guy, who helped us choosing our meals. You do have the possibility to sit next to the kitchen-bar, so did we. Everything was good looking and beautiful. We ordered the lunch menu, and because we were not allowed to drink any alcohol, we got a discount at the end. They were even so nice to exchange my pork steak with a delicious dry aged beef from the southern France instead of my wine. At the end we payed only 20€ per the pork steak, and 25€ for the dry aged beef steak, which usually costs in its quality class more then 60€ in other places! Summary: Extremely delicious, fine and fresh food for reasonable prices, and an extraordinary friendly staff! Can only recommend it. P.S.: The wine is also very good there!

It all starts with a warm welcome. You will be seated at the counter of the kitchen or the bar - there is one table for those who prefer this. The food is excellent, service great and the wine list is really terrific with a lot of wines "a bit out of the ordinary" but excellent of quality.

Deserves every ⭐️! Fantastic experience in every way with absolutely delicious food and wine, service that was attentive without hovering, and atmosphere that was both casual yet upscale with a clear view of the chefs at work. It was fun watching the chef finish our pasta pancetta started in the parmesan cheese wheel, then seeing our ribeye for 2 resting on the counter added to the anticipation of a lovely dinner. Already thinking about going back one more time before leaving Antwerp… 😋

Yelp
Came by for dinner the other night with high hopes being a Michelin Bib Gourmand and came out as a slight disappointment. Made a reservation online and my seat at the counter facing the hot kitchen was ready upon arrival. Service throughout the evening was cordial. I loved the open kitchen concept along with the "window" that the staff would open when speaking with diners. Back of the house staff wore a uniform t-shirt and some wore a glove? Opted for the Bib Gourmand menu and started off with the duck pate. Wasn't a big fan of the pate as it had a different texture along with some chicken liver...perhaps it's an acquired taste? The table presentation had sourdough along with some soft butter. The bread was also lackluster... Opted for the pork as the main course and loved how it was still pink on the inside! The pork was put on the grill so I'm pretty sure it was cooked as it was warm in the middle. The pork itself was flavorful and seasoned with merely a bit of pepper. The mashed potatoes on the bottom were decent too. The veal tongue bits and the sauce was pretty salty and the sauce was a touch too over-powering...bummer. Meal ended off with the ice cream which I didn't quite understand as it felt like it came from a soft serve machine along with a cookie from a pre-packaged box... did I just walk into Denny's?!? Water was 4 Euro 50. 46 Euro 50 for dinner.

Yelp
Started great - our table was ready and they had GF bread waiting on the table. The service was very personable and attentive; we liked the server a lot. They suggested an appertif, and we went for the the Belgium bubbly, which turned out to be a great choice, 100% chardonnay. Dry, but not too dry, had flavor, not sweet; if it had a bit more yeast flavor, it would have been more perfect. Great way to start the evening. One appetizer was the garden snails, which were super chewy, to the point where we couldn't eat them - very disappointing. The beef tartar was OK, but we wouldn't have known what it was; it was neutral - wasn't offensive in any way, but it was indistinct and lacked depth of flavor - had potential but was boring. That was the theme for the night. There's potential, but food is actually rather boring in execution. The wines were suggested by the sommelier and for the most part were good and nice complements to the food. Entrees were trout, which was head-to-tail, but deb-oned, with samphire; it was crispy and served over a puree. The second entrée was so unmemorable, we don't recall what it was at all! Dessert came with the fixed priced menu, and we requested Belgium bubbly each instead for an $7 each to the cost of the prix fixe menu. A little steep, but the bubbly was good. It sent us off for a nice evening stroll through the city on a fine summer night.

Yelp
Some hits, some misses on or visit here last night. Hits: wines by the glass chosen by the sommelier were very good and reasonably priced. Red snapper entree cooked perfectly. Duck confit with lentil stew was a hit. Misses: claustrophobic sweat shop atmosphere in the kitchen dining area. 3 course prix fixe requirement. Pigs feet appetizer had no flavor. Calamari preparation with red wine vinegar was odd, tough. At least half the patrons were here for a monster hunk of beef. Best moment of the night was when we escaped into fresh air outside after the meal was done.

Yelp
The food looked amazing, but the service was so bad that we had to leave before ordering. Manager was so rude and impolite. We arrived at 1pm on a relaxed afternoon, were directed to the bar and waited to be served. There were 4 of us. Menu took a while to arrive so we started chatting. Waitress finally arrived, brought us the menu and asked if we needed help with the translation. Two of us listened while the other two chatted away. The other two then asked for her to translate, which she did gladly. However, the manager interrupted her and turned to us "That's very rude." She continued explaining, but he interrupted again "She already translated, you didn't pay attention." We asked "are you upset? perhaps we should leave?" And manager says "yes, that was rude." So we got up and left.

Yelp
Made reservations here for a late lunch while in between trains from Brugge to Amsterdam, saw a review in the New York Times and expected the best. The menu was all in Dutch (no big deal, to be expected) but the pricing was unclear. There was a set menu on the right, then a series of additional costs depending on your entree (many of which required that two people order). When I asked the server to clarify the cost, he was embarrassed to discuss it and made us feel bad for asking at all. We really just wanted to differentiate between a $150 lunch and an $80 lunch, but when we ordered the less extravagant option, the server decided to ignore us for the rest of the meal and didn't ask if we wanted more water, or give us an update to why our food was taking nearly 45 minutes to prepare. I found the whole experience disappointing.
