having been to italy numerous times, i can honestly say the handmade pasta here holds its own- no surprise for a spot that’s held a michelin guide rec for 8 consecutive yrs!! the 🐚seafood cavatelli was a revelation – perfectly al dente pasta in a spicy sauce loaded with tiger prawn, scallop & sea bass. the🍝handmade tagliatelle with beef bolognese was also surprisingly good. for appetisers, we shared a 🦀snow crab, crab roe and avocado, which was decent, tho not as outstanding as pastas. ended with 🍰tiramisu and a freshly baked 🍎apple tart, both being”not too sweet“. we didn’t know it comes with gelato so we accidentally ordered 2 extra scoops of 🍨vanilla and passionfruit ooops

I was honestly a bit disappointed. The beef tartare was completely overpowered by peppercorns and a sauce that tasted slightly like mustard, so I could barely taste the meat. The caviar was good, though. The pasta was okay, but nothing special, especially for almost 400 HKD. And I know this is Hong Kong, but having guests sitting through dinner with their jackets on because it was so cold really took away from the experience. For a place at this level, I expected better overall.

i don’t think the risotto is cooked like true risotto, all dishes are overpriced. The rib eye is good, but the lobster bisque is so oily and watery. if you use this price, u can eat in a better restaurant.Do not recommend for special occasions, the waiters will not place the dishes in a good way and expect customers to help or reorganize the plates.

Have always been my go-to restaurant for special days like birthdays and Xmas. This time I ordered something new on the menu for myself; instead of the lobster pasta, the salted egg yolk hairy crab squid ink pasta. It was such a delicacy! The waitress was very humble and asked for opinions/ feedback for the dish too!

great foods and services, resturant located at the central of the city (causeway bay), and got a good view if you get the chance to see it through the window. their siganture spaghetti is really nice, but that doesn't surprise me since i have had and this is why i am here, but their other dishes such as dessert and breads/soups are our wonders. a great place to chill and enjoy something really fine.

The food was good but the standard wasn’t quite up to what you’d expect for the accolades or the price. The pasta was well made and the dishes were well prepared. The flavour was quite bland and was missing a lot of the freshness that you’d expect. Service was attentive and pleasant. No complaints at all, we had a good meal.

I am writing this review as I am about to finish my meal. Ordered a beef tartare, a pasta dish and matching a wine. Beef tartare was relatively poorly executed. Caviar did not have enough saltiness and flavour of the beef itself was well out of balance. Felt like chewing on dried meat without the intensity of flavour. Pasta was well cooked to al dante, with interesting twist of oriental. I still don't understand why they chill such a beautiful red wine. The wine was cold and asleep when it was served, could only feel the nose by the end of my meal. Overall, good ingredients, great idea with underwhelming execution.

If you want to enjoy a new spin on an Italian themed restaurant, Involtini may be for you. Beef Tartare with Caviar, a sumptuous Sea Bass Filet with Sea Salt & Egg White, a beautiful Caprese with authentic bufalo de Mozzarella showcase the skillset of a brilliant master chef. Pasta is freshly made, and there is a truly great dish, smoked rainbow trout, bathed in citrus and balsamic flavors. The setting is a small, homey dining area with an open kitchen, aromas abounding.
