Exceptional. Such a gem! We just traveled the Amalfi coast followed by Palermo and Taormina here in Sicily. We decided to rest for a few days in our honeymoon and stayed at the Relais San Giuliano in Catania. The Food at Il Palici was magical! Very inventive and passionate without being pretentious. The chefs sent out breads, vegan (sustainable) salumeria and then our courses which were thoughtful and delicious. We had Candele Pasta, Tortelini with Eggplant and Ricotta, Zucchini Flowers, Pork and Lamb, Soufflé and everything was so good. The staff is kind and the wine list is great. Overall, such a great value for the quality and care. We have also eaten at the Bistro (sister restaurant on the property) and it is casual and also very delicious and driven by the local agriculture.

Wonderful experience at iPalici, tucked inside the beautiful Relais San Giuliano hotel. The decor was amazing (housed in an old traditional wine making structure) and the food was very representative of local Sicilian produce and tradition, yet modern. Would highly recommend the restaurant as the service was sublime and the food creative and delicious. You can choose from several tasting menus and also a la carte.

A wonderful and memorable experience from start to finish! We did the delicious seafood tasting menu: a curated experience of appetizers on the relaxing patio, plant-based charcuterie (wow!) and mains in the atmospheric dining room, and a return to the patio for desserts. Kudos, chef, and thank you, Luigi, for the great hospitality.

Une cena elegante e raffinata, ma allo stesso tempo non lontana dalla tradizione culinaria siciliana. Lo Chef Procopio tratta la materia prima con grande attenzione, valorizzandola ed esaltandone i sapori. Ogni piatto viene descritto, raccontato con cura dal Restaurant Manager Gaetano, che vi guida attraverso questo viaggio tra i sapori, consigliandovi anche i migliori abbinamenti con i vini, che potrete scegliere fra un’ampia varietà di cantine. Molto curato anche l’impiattamento di ogni portata che con elegante semplicità, soddisfa gli occhi prima ancora che il palato. Un menù stagionale e sostenibile, che non mancherà di sorprendervi fino all’ultima portata: lasciate un po’ di spazio per il dessert, vedrete che ne varrà la pena!
