First time to this location and it’s extremely disappointing! Mediocre food with high price and terrible service!! We came in on the slow mid-day, got seated right away. I was super excited about the good options for vegetarian bowls despite the higher price. I had the Nirvana Classic ramen, the broth was delicious, ramen was cooked to perfect texture, but for a $23 bowl, the topping is very skimpy. The biggest turn off was the server!! She basically ignored customers (not just us!) big time! I had a hard time catching her to order some add-ons, and same thing happens when we’re ready for the check. Again, the place was NOT busy at all. At this point, I rather this place be an ‘express’ version— order and pay digitally!! I’ve been coming to Ippudo for years every time I visit NYC, maybe this will be the last time, I much rather go to some non-chained ramen shops in the city. Now I started to understand why Ippudo has not been a place mentioned on social medias anymore. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Went here for dinner based on recommendation from sibling. We went late. We called in for reservations and the lady said they don’t take reservations since we large party and she even said we would be sat separately. Well we took our chance and went there and there was literally no one!! So lucky for us we got to sit together. Ordered sodas and my hubby was really thirsty and finished his soda only to find out that there are no free refills!! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I mean it’s a machine soda! Really?! I told everyone else to sip the sodas. 😅 The ramen was good though and the katsu chicken was good as well. Wouldn’t visit here again

Google
Some of the best ramen I’ve had!! The servers were great and very kind. The dining area is a bit small but it did not feel cramped. The food was absolutely delicious and I will definitely be making a return trip!

Google
Very friendly staff and service. Didn’t hover but they were observant and our waters were never below halfway. Food was AMAZING. The ramen was perfect and the noodles were firm. I’ll definitely be back.

I've learned of this place many years ago when it was impossible to dine here without spending several hours in line. Now, you just walk right in on a Friday night with many empty seats. Having finally tasted their famous ramen, I understand why the line had dwindled. The ramen texture is pretty good but everything is just okay, which is not good considering you are paying $30 for a bowl of noodle (inc taxes and tips). Theres barely much in the soup except two thin slices of chasuu ( I think they qualify more as ham, not chasuu???). There's no vegetable, no egg, everything will cost you extra. It really leaves much to be desired.

Google
Wonderful staff, delicious food, and a great atmosphere. I had the Yuzu Shoyu Ramen and Vegetable Bun. Both of the these items were so good. I was very excited for this experience and Ippudo did not disappoint!

Google
Not many chicken options, but the ones they had were pretty good. I also tried all the vegan ramen, and it was tasty. The only downside is that there's always a wait for a table.

Google
This restaurant has such nice ambiance and the food was delicious. I also really liked the orange drink that i ordered, it was absolutely delicious. There was a bit of a wait but we were a party of 10 so it makes sense.

Yelp
This was a really good ramen spot! I'm mainly rating the vegan ramen, but I'm also told that the other ramen was good! The shishito peppers were very good as well! The inside is super cute. It was pretty packed when we went, but they served us quickly and efficiently. I will definitely return when I want ramen in New York!

Yelp
Service: Service was fine/as expected, staff were friendly. They yell in Japanese welcoming you into the restaurant. Food comes out pretty quick. Food: Perhaps the bowl used is deceiving, but when it arrives it seems like there isnt much food given as there is a large gap from the rim of the bowl to where the broth is. The broths were flavorful but oily. For Akamaru, they give you 2 slices of meat which is sliced like the width of deli meat. The meat itself was nothing special, it wasn't chewy but also not melt in your mouth. But from what I detected it seems like they season their meat separately. For Yuzu Shoyu, the broth was interesting as I've never had Yuzu Shoyu before. The chicken was white meat but- not dry, not super tender. You also have to pay extra for extra toppings. If they gave a bigger portion or a couple more toppings in each bowl I think that would be good. Ambiance: The places was small but had a nice wooden interior. The front of the restaurant seemed like a waiting area but could be used for dining. You are able to sit at the 'bar. Their menu is on a wooden block which might be hard to scan if the phone can't register it. Overall, for the price of the meal and the amount you get, it's not worth in my opinion. However, I will say that if you're looking for a quicker sit down meal where you can get your food quick, eat, and leave then ippudo would be a good choice.

Yelp
Digital menu - https://ippudony-menu-qr.netlify.app/ Simple and straightforward restaurant layout, clean and wood/bamboo focused. Iced green tea is small, but solid matcha flavor. Service was quick, in and out for lunch in 30min. Definitely gets busier after 12p. The basic ramen (SHIROMARU MOTOAJ) is solid but the meat I would've preferred belly instead of loin meat. The description has: Pork tonkotsu broth, Hakata thin noodles, scallions, seasoned bamboo shoots, naruto, and slow cooked pork loin chashu. The treasures plate gives you a choice of meat (or tofu) plus some seaweed, the soft-boiled egg, and bamboo (menma). Tofu is cold, though, so add to soup if you want to get more flavor and warmth.

Yelp
Ippudo ramen and soup is still one of the best but the ambience in this location feels more casual than when I go to the main location. Service is still good and fast. Very responsive to your request

Yelp
Came in today around 4pm and there would be 2 of us but I got here first and the guy in the front doesn't want to sit me cause we're not complete but I wanna sit and order first because i'm starving. WHY WOULD YOU NOT SIT PEOPLE WHEN RESTAURANT IS COMPLETELY EMPTY?????

Yelp
Stopped by before going to a Broadway play. Seating and service is fast. Happy hour was still going on until 6pm. Tried the pork buns at happy hour price of 2 for $10, takoyaki appetizer and the akamaru ramen. There was a steady flow of people in and out, as food is quick. Ambiance is more casual. I was seated at a bar like area, but there is also regular table seating. The pork bun was flavorful and moist, and the mayo was not overpowering. Takoyaki was very tasty and had generous amount of squid inside without being overly doughy. The Akamura ramen was pork, bamboo shoots, scallions and umami paste. It was good and filling. It is pricey but you are in the theatre district so most places will cost a bit more, but I did enjoy my meal.

Yelp
Good ramen with chewy noodles and smooth, flavorful broth. The protein was a little sparse in both my Dragon Tantan and my friend's Karaka Spicy, but both dishes were tasty and filling nonetheless. These are midtown Manhattan ramen prices ($23/$24 with no egg), so more than you'd pay uptown or in an outerborough, but pretty standard for the neighborhood. As a note, if you walk-in, you have approx. 60 minutes before you'll need to clear the table. The ramen comes out very quickly though, so you should have plenty of meal time.

Yelp
Love the consistency of the food across all Ippudo locations, but have to knock a star off here because this location is so beat up and lackluster compared to the others. It's giving school cafeteria. Still, it was absolutely freezing and this was the closest location to where I was, so here we went. We went on a weekday at around 9 pm and were able to promptly grab a seat. I got my go to order - the Akamaru ramen with wavy noodles, plus an egg. My partner got the spicy miso vegetarian ramen (this is literally the only vegetarian ramen he enjoys out of everywhere I've tried taking him) plus some hot sake because it was freezing out. Everything came out swiftly and correctly. We decided to kae dama since we both had broth left, which was a strong choice. We were absolutely stuffed leaving this place, but fully satisfied.

Yelp
I loved the ramen! It was delicious! We were. Able to get seated pretty quickly because we got here early on a Saturday night! I do recommend getting here early because there was a huge line by (6:30pm)! I was impressed by the vegan options at the restaurant as well (they had a whole section on vegan items). The ambience was nice, spacious! Great service

Yelp
I've always been a fan of Ippudo, so I feel like this is pretty standard. This location is much more cozier than say their West 52 and Astor place spot. A few up-front seating for solo, and towards the back low bar seating for solo slurpers. The decor & ambiance is minimalistic. Probably caters to the midtown biz peeps. Service is standard, menu via QR code but server will take your order. Food comes out fast. Had my usual Akamaru (the red bowl). Broth is just as good as I remember it but the char siu looks different... it looks more like a slice ham vs. the sliced pork belly. I don't love it. Added my egg - perfecto. I tried their spicy gyoza... this steamed dumpling... has numbing chili oil... so now you know. Pretty good but still prefer the crispy kind. The one thing that threw me off... the restroom is in the middle of the elongated space... so anyone seated in the middle will get a whiff of the unpleasant odor... I was not a fan. Solid lunch spot if you're in this area.

Yelp
Nice ramen joint. The service team was nice; welcoming everyone into the restaurant. It's a local chain and some locations are better than others. They specialize in the tonkatsu ramen but other dishes are good. Expect to wait as they get busy. Had to wait 20 minutes during lunch time. You can order a drink or a snack while waiting for dine in service. No luck for take out patrons. Ordered the miso ramen has a flavorful broth with a creamy texture. The chasui was okay. A little chewy, cold and under whelming this time around. Not what I was expecting from Ippudo. The shoyu ramen has a light broth but I like the miso more. The ramen is thinner compared to the miso ramen. I would recommend the other locations over this one but still a good spot for ramen.

Yelp
As you enter, Ippudo has a small vestibule for waiting. I got there as a party of 2 at 5pm on a Thursday, checked in for a 10 min wait and was seated before that. Tables are shared with other diners and there's a cozy vibe with upbeat music. I got a yuzu martini ($17) and it was tart and lemony. Servers are friendly and on the ball with water refills. Our appetizer came out very quickly. The veggie bao buns ($6 each) had lightly breaded mushroom with a mix of sauces. The nirvana classic ramen ($23) was amazing with a coconut milk and mushroom broth, shredded carrots, and fried onions. I've never had anything like it. I really wish I had a chance to get another bowl before my trip was over! $3 is a bit wild for the Tamago (soft boiled egg added to ramen), but it's so delicious I didn't care.

Yelp
I have been coming to Ippudo for years but not have been privy to this location. The ladies at Ippudo 5th gave me a different grade of chashu for my Akamaru and insisted it was the right meat. I ordered the AKAMARU SHINAJI which includes Pork tonkotsu broth, Hakata thin noodles, PORK BELLY CHASHU, Ippudo's original "Umami " paste, etc. this location gave me slow cooked pork loin chashu instead. I had to discuss with them twice that it was indeed the wrong quality of meat and showed numerous pictures of the same meal ordered in the past. I knew exactly that it was the slow cooked pork loin chashu when I first looked at it. The women still insisted but tried to brush it off complaining that they changed their menu and don't include the chasu anymore. This indeed was not reflected in the menu, nor mentioned beforehand and I do not like how they LIED about that! If it wasn't for me eating at Ippudo ALL the time, I wouldn't give them the benefit of the doubt. Upon receiving my ramen...it was lukewarm and no where close to hot! Very disappointing! I will not be back to this location! I'd suggest to stay away from 5th Ave unless you don't care about being potentially scammed from what is otherwise stated on the menu.

Yelp
THE TIME HAD COME. Ichiran vs Ippudo smackdown showdown! My friend swore up and down this was the best ramen spot he ever had and he had me come with him on his birthday. Now, I am a hardcore stan for Ichiran so it is hard to convince me ramen anywhere else is better in the US (in Japan I had the best ramen of my life but that's a different story). ANYWAYYY, Ippudo. He got me to come through and finally try the ramen here. I ordered the Chicken Shio because he said it's the best Shio ramen he's ever had. And I've got to say...he was right. Holy ****. That was the tenderest chicken in ramen I've ever had, and I've had many loser chicken Shios in the past. My favorite type of ramen is Tonkotsu so I guess a true apple-to-apples test is having Ippudo's tonkotsu to compare to Ichiran's tonkotsu, but damn, I've gotta say, Ippudo all 5 stars are deserved. The only thing I'd say is I wish there was more chicken in that ramen cause I could have def gone for more of it. I will also say--it was the "fishiest-tasting" shio I've ever had so beware if you're not a fan. But overall, I need and will go back to Ippudo. Restaurant ambiance is great, service was good, but man, the ramen is definitely worth many a return visits. That said, between Ippudo and Ichiran, until I have tonkotsu ramen at Ippudo, the showdown continues!

Yelp
EH. I've been to the main ippudo and I was impressed so I thought why not try this location and I was not impressed. The goal is to turn over as many tables as possible. So you are in and out in less than 40 minutes. I felt the vegetarian broth was milky and lacked the complex flavor that you usually see in vegetarian ramen spots. It's pricey which would be okay if it was worth it but this was not it. I won't be back.

Freddyc M.

Yelp
I found the ramen underwhelming. This is such a famous place I was surprised by how uninteresting I found the ramen and broth. It was not any different from other local ramen places, but I noticed there was significantly less meat and noodles. I did not wish to pay even extra for egg or seaweed. It is overpriced.

Yelp
I was in NYC today to visit the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building. We decided to stop here for lunch, and we ordered Tokoyaki and some ramen. We had spicy and miso ramen. They were both great, and the Tokoyaki was good. I can see why there are so many good reviews and many pictures. I would consider coming back again if I am in the area. I recommend it if someone is looking for a good ramen place near the Grand Central area. Also, we picked up some triangle rice at the front. They are tasty; I would pick them up if I were there again. Overall, it was a satisfying lunch. The price was a little pricy compared to other ramen places. The service was excellent. The ambiance was nice and casual, and there was nothing that stood out.
google avatar

Yelp
I got the Spicy Karaka ramen and the broth was heavenly rich with a great amount of spice. The noodles were perfectly cooked snapping just right when you bite into it. The chashu was delicious and meaty and the egg (extra fee booo) completes the bowl perfectly. With the egg, the bowl came out to $27 and I have definitely had better ramen for almost half of that price. The service was great although it did take a while for them to come get our orders in. However, they were attentive and refilled waters and removed dirty plates and utensils when needed. The ambiance is very cozy and is much better than the westside location. I love the light wood finishes on the furniture and walls. *BONUS: the takoyaki is a MUST get, I mean it was so good I was okay burning the roof of my mouth because I could not wait to take a bite out of those soft, gooey, and savory round things

Yelp
Got here just before the lunch rush hour. My friend arrived first and they wouldn't sit her down until I was there. Thankfully I was only minutes away. I ordered the rice karaage chicken bowl because I've not tried it on their menu before and I also wanted to avoid soup broth on my work shirt. The rice chicken bowl did not disappoint at all. Plenty of rice and chicken on top, I could not finish it and took half home. Definitely worthwhile trying, especially if you are eating in as it is made nice and fresh.
google avatar

Josh G.

Yelp
I ordered the Karaka Spicy Ramen, which I enjoyed. I also added menma (bamboo shoots) to my bowl. The spice level was perfect for me, and I was pleased with the portion size for the price. I went in for an early lunch, so I was one of maybe 4 people there, so the service was very quick and the staff was friendly and attentive. Overall I liked the more quiet and simple vibe of this place and I would definitely come back.
google avatar

Sally V.

Yelp
Delicious and rich ramen. A little on the salty side but I enjoyed the spiciness of the karaka. It had a slight kick but nothing crazy. We got seated right away (6pm on a Sunday) and the food came out just minutes after we placed the order. Casual ramen ambience. I did wish there was more meat and variety in toppings for the price.
google avatar

Yuqing L.

Yelp
Great location. Good quality of ramen. Nice service. Decent size of the dining space in midtown. Perfect for a quick meal near Grand Centram Terminal.
google avatar

Alysha J.

Yelp
The service was exceptional making me order more than I should have with consistent recommendations that all sounded delectable! When the food arrived it did not disappoint! The ambiance is quaint. It gives the vibe of come and enjoy but do not stay too long. The seating is limited and I would not bring a lot of bags. I also ordered a Ramen that was so delicious I dug right in and there was nothing left for the picture. I ordered the spicy miso ramen bowl with a friend egg and pork.
google avatar

Janet L.

Yelp
This was my second time at this Ippudo and was disappointed again. We had the Akamaru Ramen and fried chicken. The soup was salty, oily and didn't have rich complex flavor. Garlic oil also lacked flavor. Chashu was so so. The fried chicken was good hence the two stars.
google avatar

Veronica L.

Yelp
Eh - not what it used to be. I got the Shiromaru Motoaji and found the broth to be bland, despite the toppings. The slices of pork chashu were nice and tender though, and the bamboo shoots gave a good crunch. Perhaps going with a spicy ramen would've provided a more abundant flavor, but otherwise, Ippudo isn't want it used to be. The prices are also not the greatest here. I've had better ramen elsewhere for a better value. Went on a Saturday afternoon and waited about 20 min for a table of 3. While the service was attentive, I'd probably stick to a different place for my ramen.

Ariana M.

Yelp
good food, bad service. when you misunderstand someone, its a misunderstanding. So when I as a regular customer who regularly orders chicken buns, gets shrimp instead.. its understandable if you misheard. however, for the waitress to come up to me with her pad showing me "shrimp" (i dont eat seafood), and telling me with a massive attitude "Chicken has two syllables, shrimp has one, you ordered shrimp" like if I was a child... so rude. i offered to pay for the additional chicken buns anyways and she kept doubling down. screw this location, treating regulars like garbage. Go to the union square one instead.
google avatar

Nina T.

Yelp
Wait time was extremely long that we took turns dozing off. Ramen was really good but wouldn't wait that long again.
google avatar

Vivienne C.

Yelp
I love Ippudo but it's so damn expensive. Came here for dinner, and was happy to immediately be seated as the people who came 30 minutes after us weren't so lucky. I ordered the Akamaru Modern, and for a ramen that is $20+, they really need to give you a free egg - not an egg that you can add on for $3 which is ridiculous. The Ippudo noodles are unmatched as they are thin and al dente, almost like a pasta feel and goes well with the broth that isn't overly salty. I also appreciate the pickled bamboo shoots which went well with the fatty chasu. I do think the spicy miso paste made a difference and elevated the dish. Honestly, I'm still a big fan of Ippudo but it's food is really too damn expensive. I would say it's still one of my favorite ramen places in the city even though it is a chain.
google avatar

Yelp
Wanting something hot and within walking distance of our hotel, we stumbled upon Ippudo about a block away. Walking in around dinner time on a Monday evening, the wait actually wasn't too bad. And we wound up getting seated after about a 15min wait. Although rather small and unassuming from the outside, this restaurant actually goes pretty deep, and can seemingly seat quite a few tables. Once we were led to the dining area, we got to see just how busy and packed this place is. A stark contrast to the quiet and rather empty wait area out front. My wife opted for the Akamaru Shinaji ($20), while I chose the Potara Miso ($22). The Akamaru Shinaji consisted of pork tonkatsu broth, Hakata thin noodles, scallions, bamboo shoots, topped with our choice of protein (we chose pork). While the Potara Miso consisted of Ippudo pork tonkatsu broth mixed with spinach, corn, bamboo shoots, marinated pork chashu, and Tokyo thick wavy noodles. We both really enjoyed our respective bowls of ramen, however did agree that it was priced on the higher end given what was served. Service was pretty friendly, however we had quite the wait trying to close out our check.
google avatar

Amanda M.

Yelp
Make sure to pop in here for a meal! The ramen was fabulous and so was the chicken boa bun! Great quick service and neat aesthetic inside!
google avatar

Danny P.

Yelp
If you want great ramen then check out Ippudo. We shared some Ramen and buns at Ippudo. We got Pork buns and a Shrimp bun. I got the Yozu Shoyo Ramen which had Tokyo wavy noodles, pork, egg, and bamboo shoot My girlfriend got the Potara Miso - Pork Tonkotsu broth Miso with pork chasu, spinach, bamboo shoots, onion chips, and corn Great Ramen/buns! One of my favorite Ramen places in the city. Top notch!

Jayden N.

Yelp
Came to Ippudo after watching a show. Just wanted a quick bite and had been craving ramen. Service is always good and the vibe of Ippudo is very cozy. Places me on a side table where people eating alone usually eats. Ramen was delicious. Would come back again.
google avatar

Denis N.

Yelp
Enjoyed a nice meal with friends here after a long walk. Their chicken karaage is crispy and juicy. Ramen was rich with well prepared toppings like bamboo shoots.
google avatar

Khiet E.

Yelp
This place was literally right next door to our hotel. We were able to be seated right away. We ordered the Karaka Spicy Kasane with an egg and corn on the side and karaage. The ramen was ok, I wish the broth was more creamy and it was not spicy at all. The karaage had no flavor and the dipping sauce was weird. The ramen was not worth $30, definitely overpriced.
google avatar

Gina V.

Yelp
Perfect place on a cold night for a big, steaming, delicious bowl of ramen! We enjoyed the cucumber salad to start and both ramens were delicious- but the Karaka Spicy ramen was AMAZING!
google avatar

Lee S.

Yelp
Got the "akamaru shinaji", which is like a pork tonkotsu, with pork belly and egg. Overall experience was very good. But if I had to nitpick, I wish they filled the bowl with more broth, especially considering it was $21 (and $3 more for 1 egg). Personally would've liked price closer to $17-18 for what I got. But having said that, still recommend for the experience. People used to wait hours for this in the East Village, yet here the wait is reasonable. But having tried this and also the one in Japan, my verdict is it is very good, but not worth waiting more than 10 minutes for.
google avatar

Pinay M.

Yelp
Omg!!! It's so worth the walk!! I really wanted some ramen taht day so I didn't mind walking 20mins from my hotel and I'm glad I did. The place is really small so it's really hard to spot it unless you saw a mandarin writing. It's not very big but spacious enough. My son ordered the miso soup ramen while I ordered the Karaka ramen and we also ordered the karaage chicken. I'm really adventurous when it comes to foods and I always want to try new things but tell you what! If you come here, never forget to order the miso soup! Oh my! It's so delicious it's the best! The karaka was fine but was not the best and it was not my favorite. I would highly recommend the miso soup.... The best miso soup ramen I've ever had! So good!
google avatar

Shianti B.

Yelp
Came here to order some ramen to go. The restaurant is nice on the outside. On the inside, it was dark, I didn't go past the waiting area. I ordered the shiromaru motoaji ramen. I also got a spice ball. Unfortunately, I really didn't like the ramen taste, and thank goodness I got the spice ball, or I would have really been upset. It didn't have too much flavor to it, and the toppings were lacking. I have had better ramen for cheaper, so this was disappointing. The service was quick, and the wait staff gave great customer service. I will gladly give them another try, and have something new.
google avatar

Christina Y.

Yelp
I've been to the other Ippudo restaurants in NYC and this one ranks the lowest for me. It's the hipster version of it and misses some of the uniqueness the other have, which is why it gets a 4 not a 5. The flavor just wasn't as good as the others with the broth just lacking a little flavor, but still a really good bowl of ramen!
google avatar

Rana R.

Yelp
The best ramen outside of Tokyo. I like the 8th ave location and the one by union square. I always order the Akamaru Modern ramen. Pork based. So rich and delicious. One of my favorite dishes ever. I'm going to Tokyo over the summer. Can't wait to compare to Japanese ramen in Japan.
google avatar

Brad H.

Yelp
Tied for my favorite Ramen in NYC with Kushi Kushi Yaki. I prefer the food at this location over Cooper Square although the latter has a more fun downtown vibe. This location seems more traditional. But the Ramen is incredible. I think the real differentiator is the complex broth which is thick and varied and amazing. The noodles are good but think they could be improved. However, this doesn't hurt the five star rating for me since I think it's up there with the best I've had.
google avatar

Jennie A.

Yelp
TLDR: ippudo is worth trying once so you can experience this style of ramen. But it's not something we'd seek again We came to Ippudo wanting something warm after a brisk November day of exploring. Bear in mind there was a 20 min wait by 4pm. For apps we got the karaage chicken and shishito peppers. I will say the shishito peppers were much spicier than I've ever had before which was a surprise! They were also small and a tad oily. Karaage chicken with mentaiko mayo was standard but delicious nonetheless. Our whole table ordered the Akamura ramen. The broth was savory and rich. You have to pay for an egg which is a little annoying. The red sauce a signature ippudo sauce which is sweet, taste like honey and pepper paste? Some were not a fan at all of incorporating sweetness into the ramen. Buyer beware!
google avatar

Janice H.

Yelp
Despite the not-so-stellar rating for this location, I had a good experience here for a small group dinner. Got the spicy ramen with an additional egg and it was delicious - full bodied broth, molten flavorful egg yolk, noodles with a bit of bite to them (not in the undercooked way), and melt-in-your-mouth charsiu. Parfait was surprisingly good with a froyo scoop and matcha biscuits/cereal. And mocktails were a lot of fun.

Yelp
3.5 Was excited to try this place after hearing it came from Japan! However, it was so expensive ! My brother got the miso ramen and it was pretty good but the miso was not coming through teetering on the side of salty. The chasu was undercharred and was a little on the thin side. My yuzu shoyu was good but the yuzu included slices of yuzu skin which was not a good surprise in the soup. The shoyu was just ok nothing to rave about. Another thing that shocked me was that they put chopped raw onion in the ramen which was not a good addition. As for the appetizers, the fries were good but overpriced. The chicken karage was actually really good! The service was quick and there was a slight bit of wait;however, we were able to get seated quickly. The interior was very nice! Overall, it was a good experience but it was so overpriced for a not impressive ramen.

Yelp
Great first visit to Ippudo, just east of Times Square. Plenty of seating on a Tuesday evening and didn't have to wait at all for a spot. Service was speedy and friendly. Our group was a big fan of the spicy pork ramen (~$18), which was very tasty and had a solid combination of flavor and kick. Would definitely come back for another trip next time I'm in the area to try several other options on the menu!

Yelp
we stumbled upon this ramen restaurant and were super happy with our experience. we ordered the kaamaru shinaji ($20) and the vegetarian ramen ($15). they were delicious and filling! we went around 3pm, so there weren't many people, and we were seated immediately. on the other hand, during lunch and dinner times, it can get super busy. it's a pretty small restaurant, modern, with lots of tables. overall rating: 10/10

Yelp
2nd time at Ippudo's 5th Avenue location, and it definitely doesn't disappoint! Service: Staff was friendly and approachable! Catered to all our needs and were extremely transparent about wait times. The food definitely made the wait very worth it. Food: For starters, we had a sampler of pork/chicken buns, Takoyaki, and French Fries. The pork/chicken were flavorful, but I would've appreciated the buns being a bit warmer. The french fries were definitely made to order, which was great, but a bit on the salty side. Takoyaki was hot (this was good) and creamy on the inside. For ramen, I was recommended the Bonnie Bonito, a seasonal addition to the menu. This fish flavored broth had the perfect umami notes, while the noodles/assorted veggies really added some body. The pork loin chashu was also very tender and served as a perfect complimentary protein. Overall, the wait at Ippudo is a testament to their great service and food. Would come here again!

Yelp
This is the best ramen I have ever had!!! I ordered the Nirvana Karaka Ramen (VG) with a poached egg and it was served very quickly. I'm glad I got the spicy noodle option, it was sooo flavorful and good!!! There's enough noodles for all the broth. The toppings are all amazing. Tofu for no extra!! The egg was an add-on. I was slurping the broth down it was soooo good!! I can't wait to bring friends/family here when they visit. The atmosphere is very chill and family-friendly. Very clean.

Yelp
So another Ippudo ramen place we had to gone to. They are a big chain ramen restaurant. This one was right next door to our hotel at Hilton Garden Time Square North and didn't want to go far since it was raining in the city. Easy to find. Not super crowded when we came for dinner at 6p. Plenty of space and for bigger groups. Good service and very attentive. We had gyoza and pork bun for appetizers. Always very good. We both chose the pork ''Potara Miso Ramen'. It was pretty good but too much of something smoky taste in it. I couldn't put my finger in what it was. It has lots of ingredients and was good for cold night in the city. [56th R]
