The cold carry out is fantastic. Make sure the pierogi are Irene' hand made ones from the back.

Google
Best pierogi around! I stop here often to get fresh pierogi to go by the dozen. I do wish the potato and cheese were in stock all the time. Would be nice if they kept frozen. I always call ahead to make sure before I stop

Great little Polish Deli. Awesome pork chop sandwich. Kielbasa was terrific. Nice, friendly staff and a clean dining room.

My husband and I both ordered the Polish plate. The stuffed cabbage was amazing! The pierogi, Kielbasa and sauerkraut were all SO GOOD! Such friendly service- we even struck up a conversation with one of the women who runs it and makes the stuffed cabbage using a family recipe. Wish we had room for some of the desserts! They looked divine! 10/10

Google
The best bakery in town. A wide variety of sweets are always freshly made and delicious. I guarantee you will find something great tasting for yourself and others. You will not be disappointed as Irena's Pastry & Bistro is the best. Local owned and operated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Bon Appetit!

Great food. We had Irena cater a surprise birthday party. The food was absolutely wonderful, everyone loved it. The price was very reasonable. Her cheesecakes are great too. The city chicken is a must try as are the pierogi.

Google
First time visit here and I must say it has to be the greatest polish restaurant I've ever been to. I'm from GR and finding one is somewhat scarce of food and the people were great. I plan on visiting again soon

Yelp
I had gone to a piano concert where they served authentic Polish pastries. The kind I remember at my grandmother's house. Irena's was where they had purchased all of them. So, first opportunity I had I drove over and loaded up. It was an hour one way. Once I started talking to the gentleman at the register and decided to buy a few cookies for the road he gave me a lovely cup of coffee for the road. this place.

Yelp
Today's visit was a mixed bag and generally a letdown. BPT sandwich was still excellent. Another couple ordered the Polish Platter and said that it was excellent. The only beverages available: - Coke Zero - Coffee -Tea The restroom was quite dirty. There is a small display for bread loaves and rolls. Two of the loaves had multiple mold spots

Yelp
This is a posh little cafe coming from Polish roots evidenced by the numerous meats and baked goods they have for sale. My experiences have been nothing short of amazing as the staff is very friendly and willing to help you with what we question/need you may have. The coffee is from illy and the baristas know how to make a good one! However there was one occasion where the employee was newer and had a little bit of trouble. But it still was pretty good. I believe this may have been the owner's son who was there to help out, as this was still the infancy of the business. All in all, nice little place to pick up your favorite coffee and polish pastry!

Yelp
The food is amazing. Her pastries are delicious! The entire staff is so very kind and helpful.

Yelp
Nice little place with great baked goods and coffees. Get there early, things sell out quickly.

Yelp
All I can say is WOW! Some of the best polish food I've ever had, I've been to many places in the area and no other places compare! A friend of mine picked me up a carry out from this place and I was impressed on how the food tasted. I got the homemade beet soup which is the BEST I've ever had I also got a sausage sandwich which was very filling! This place will definitely get a 5 star once I go there my self and check it out! I recommend this place to anyone who loves polish food!!!!

Yelp
I'll never return. Was a pretty regular customer until the other day. Ordered a carry out on the phone of a couple of different food items to include an order of a 1/2 doz stuffed cabbage (at a cost of $3.25 ea according to their menu but carry out and posted in the store). When I went to pick up my order I was being charged a per pound price that made the stuffed cabbage more expensive. The owner?, an older man accused me of trying to cheat him when I asked about the price difference. Being rude to customers is NOT good PR. How he felt I was the one cheating is beyond me. I'll take my business to Wavels or Polish Market

Yelp
Irena's has a lot of cakes prominently on display with details for each as well. The staff was patient and willing to answer any questions. I was able to get an individual slice for myself to go. You are also able to see the various smoked meats they have on the side. I was able to get a piece of cake and some hunter sausage to go at a very reasonable price. I'm definitely stopping by again to get my fix!

Terry J.

Yelp
Went on a friday and there are no bake goods expect for some walnut cookies. Worst cookies I have every tasted. Taste like they been sitting around for months. Seven dollars that could have been spend at a real bakery. Don't wait your time and money. Rude people.

Yelp
My Mom and I ate at Irena's today for the first time. We both had "Dill Pickle Soup" and it tasted similar to my Mom's recipe, it was delicious! We also ordered potato cheddar pierogi and sauerkraut pierogi, we enjoyed both. I also recommend the potato pancakes. Next time we go, I want to try their golabki.

Yelp
Best food I ever tasted! The cheesecake tastes great, the coffee is the best and the staff is very kind. This is overall the best polish food that money can buy.
