We made our reservations online. By reading other reviews we found out that we can pick our waiter. We asked for Helios based on a number of outstanding reviews and he did not disappoint. We were seated promptly. Food was served without delay and it was delicious. This restaurant is beautiful and our experience here was superb.

The restaurant is located inside Motor City Casino on the 16th floor. The atmosphere and ambiance is carefully orchestrated, exuding luxury and class. If you are lucky enough to get a window seat you will enjoy one of the nicest views that Metro Detroit has to offer. The waiting staff is phenomenal, they frequently check on the table topping off water, and their recommendations are catered to the customers restrictions and preferences. I personally requested meals with no alcohol or pork and our waitress was wonderful in suggesting entrees. With that being said the one big downside is the food. It looks wonderful when brought out but the flavor was absent. I ordered the Half Ribs entree which was 70% fat and was lacking seasoning of any sort. My wife ordered the halibut which itself tasted flaky and moist, however the broth tasted like just tomato and water. The reason for the 3 star review is because the meal costed $155 and I expected a meal that tasted like the price. I was utterly disappointed by what I tasted. The price did not justify what we received.

Amazing!!!!! I can not express how impressed we all were. I had very low expectations however I was completely impressed. I can not wait until the next time I return for dinner. This is my new favorite restaurant. The chef is amazing!! His selections for dinner are prepared to perfection. I look forward to our return. You won't be disappointed!!!🥂🥂🍷🍷🥩🥩🥗🥗🥧🍸🍾

Service is absolutely amazing! We tried the wine and dine option with extra appetizers. The appetizers were good, better than my main chicken course. If you are attending anything at the Soundboard this is the perfect stop beforehand.

I have been here a handful of times and each and every time they have outdone themselves. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Detroit. Service, food, and ambience is 10/10. One of the guest in my party has a gluten intolerance and they brought her gluten free bread and her own oil so she doesn't have to share oil with all the gluten eaters. Then for dessert, they made her a dessert that was not on the menu because she couldn't have anything due to her allergies. Our table ordered the Frito Miso, cheese plater, lamb belly ragu, Ribeye, and a couple of desserts. The ribeye is one of the best steaks I have had in Detroit. I would highly recommend Iridescence.

Love coming here and having the Kaiseki w/ wine pairing. If you have the time and the open mind about food you must give it a try... once you have it you will only want to order it again on the next visit. The chef is very accommodating to likes and dislikes so make sure to tell them ahead of time! Great atmosphere and service.

The views were amazing, the ambiance was great, the bread they give you to start tasted so dang good! Why the 1 star, you ask? Because I found a HAIR in my food. The server tried to blame my sister and I for it. The hair was blonde.....we have very dark hair. No blonde in sight. But our server was blonde....yup. Anyways, she didn't seem to care that we had hair in our food. She remade the order, which was nice. Their bathrooms are nice. That's all.

First time here- incredibly romantic and elegant. I came here, as a gift to my twin, to celebrate our 19th birthday. Booking the reservation was fast and easy, which I wasn't expecting. We ordered and split a cheese plate appetizer, which was incredibly delicious. Next, we both had the Ora King Salmon, which was lightly smoked and came with sweet potato brûlèe, and marinated kale as sides. The dishes were portioned well, and it was absolutely splendid. The manager(?) approached us and asked how we were and told us that dish was new, having only been there for 2 months. Kudos to the chef for a job well done! For desert, the resturant gave us complimentary desert, and I cannot recall the name of it. In the image, it was melting, but it came as a sphere of dark chocolate with hot caramel poured over it. A small chocolate cake, with raspberries, was inside. Again, this dish tasted amazing. Our water glasses were never empty, and the water was poured straight from Fiji water bottles (which I have never seen before). Our waitress was incredible, and I cannot recall her name for the life of me, but she was a slightly older woman, natural hair braids, glasses, and was an absolute sweet heart. She cleaned our table, even after I insisted that I should, was patient, soft spoken, and lovely. Very professional, honestly. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a romantic spot, or even for a classy place to take a loved one out to. Will totally come back again, thank you for showing us a good time, on our first time!
