Food: 9.5 out of 10 Service: 5 out of 5 Atmosphere: 4.5 out of 5 Price/Value: 4.5 out of 5 Overall: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.7 out of 5 Recommendations: Beef Brisket, Pork Belly, Beef Bulgogi I was sooo happy to find out that there’s a kbbq within walking distance of my Airbnb! Iron Age is a big chain, but every time I go there I have the best experience. Their meats are so juicy and smell so good. The waiter was very attentive and frequently asked us how we were doing and whether we needed more meat. What’s even better is it’s only $32 per person for dinner, which is not bad at all for kbbq. Needless to say I will be their frequent customer in my last few weeks in D.C.!

Google
Iron Age in Columbia Heights is the go-to spot for Korean BBQ lovers! The vibe is energetic, the music adds to the fun, and the all-you-can-eat menu is packed with flavorful options. The staff is quick to assist and keeps the grill running smoothly. I especially loved the marinated beef and spicy pork.

Google
A great all-you-can-eat Korean bbq restaurant. My favorites are the Hawaiian beef bulgolgi, spicy pork bulgolgi, and thin sliced brisket. Love the sides too - kimchi, japchae, steamed egg, etc. the restaurant has a clubby vibe that plays the latest k-pop music videos nonstop on a half dozen projects across the different walls. Would love to hear some old school Hyori , super junior, and girls generation too.. all in all great place, the staff are super attentive and were constantly asking what we wanted to order next, and were regularly swapping out the grill for a clean one

Google
We had a great time in Iron age during our first visit in Washington D.C. The food was nice (for all the raw/marinated meats & side dishes) and our server, Carlos, he was awesome because he helped us so rapidly that we could get anything right after asking to him =) The one thing that I'm suggesting to Iron Age is to add soup/noodle items on their menu. It'll be more fantastic experience if we could have them with the meats. Nice food, venue, and staff, I'll definitely find Iron Age again when I visit DC in the future.

Google
Iron Age is my go-to for Korean BBQ and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is always buzzing with great music and energy, making it a super fun dining experience. While they have a fantastic all-you-can-eat selection, the absolute star of the show is the Iron Age Steak. Seriously, out of all the KBBQ places I've tried, this is the best cut of meat you can get. It's incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. We always get multiple rounds of it. The other meats are great too, but the steak is on another level. The banchan (side dishes) are always fresh and delicious, especially the kimchi and spicy rice cakes. Paired with some soju, it's the perfect meal. If you're looking for a top-tier KBBQ experience, Iron Age is the spot. Just make sure you order the Iron Age Steak – you won't regret it!

Google
Definitely 10/10...highly recommend. We went here on a Sunday and had a super short wait, maybe 5 minutes. After being seated the waiter took our drink order and explained how things work at the restaurant. We were able to order 2 meats at a time and we cooked them ourselves. The waiter would periodically come to the table to adjust the fire or cut up the meat/vegetables for us. We tried the lemon chicken thighs, garlic pork steak, spicy squid, and the Hawaiian bulgogi...everything was delicious, but the lemon chicken was my absolute favorite! The vibe and ambiance was nice too...I loved the music they were playing. The staff was super friendly. I had a great experience and can't wait to come here again!

Google
I took my friend here because he wanted to go to Korean barbecue for the first time. However, it was also my first experience at this restaurant. The waiter who helped us was good, towards the end he turned down the heat because we ate too much and started serving us less. We chose option C and this way we had the chance to taste everything. THE SUSHI IS DISGRACE I RECOMMEND YOU NOT TO EAT IT. Other than that, the meats are OK but the chickens are good. There were not many people when we went, it was not crowded, sometimes the waiter forgot us and sometimes burned our meat

Google
Great experience. It was first time there with my daughter and her friends. One thing, make sure all the parties arrived because they seem to have issue seating you first. One we seated, the it was a great experience overall. The food was fantastic and the waiter was awesome. If you like meat, this is your place. It is $25 per person and tax 10%. Total for 4 is $110, not including tip. Here are the photos, hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Yelp
We arrived for dinner around 8 on a Sunday night. I was expecting for a wait only to be seated immediately. Service was friendly and our server was attentive. I ordered a beer and we started with beef bolgogi. SO GOOD! We also ended up ordering the spicy chicken, spicy pork bulgogi, shrimp, and seasoned steak. Our favorite was the spicy pork bolgogi because it was super tender and had delicious flavor. Idk what it was about this grill, but it made all the meat we had taste so flavorful and bbq-y. Ambience: K-pop was blasting in the background and people were having a good time laughing and eating. Dinner was about $35 after tip. This is probably one of my favorite locations compared to others bc they weren't rushing us to finish like other locations do. Will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
From the moment of arrival, I can describe my experience here as nothing but chaotic, disorganized, and unimpressive. For starters, they do not offer reservations- which for large parties provides me some concern for having the space to accommodate that many people. There are 2 hour time limits, so the reservation system if put in place would likely aid in smoother exchanges between establishment and customer. Despite lack of reservation opportunities, we decide to take our chances here. They keep everyone waiting for a table in the little door space between the front entry door and the restaurant. We are all crammed in this space like little sardines. There is no waitlist, no phone text opportunity so we are all forced to wait in this crammed space with our whole party otherwise we can't be seated. The host(?) is popping her head out just pointing to random groups and taking them in, and is rather unpleasant to communicate with. Finally we get called in, and our table isn't well cleaned. The service at our table was slow, the grill wasn't working, so we spent much of our two hour time window either unable to cook our food because she didn't bring it over or the grill wasn't working. For the price paid per head, I do not deem this place at all worthwhile. It will likely aggravate you and not leave you feeling satisfied with your experience. Food (when we got it and were able to cook it) was fine, which is the only reason I am adding two stars. I would highly not recommend this place, and it seems they are either understaffed/poorly managed or both.

Yelp
Went with a big group, got the bulgogi beef -- which was our favorite, spicy chicken, spicy pork, shrimp, and a bunch of sides. The food was all delicious and the service was great! $29 is pretty affordable for all you can eat. The restaurant itself is so fun. Drinks were a little too sweet but other than that everything was amazing.

Yelp
This was my first time enjoying Korean BBQ and it was wonderful. A friend and I walked over after being in the area for an event and I'm so glad we did. We ordered the Hawaiian bulgogi and the spicy pork bulgogi, along with salad, rice and japchae. Everything was so good, especially for the price. I also enjoyed the Peach Flower cocktail. The service was good and he even checked and assisted with our food on the grill. I will definitely be returning to try more items.

Yelp
Service: Quick. The hostess greeting me gave a off putting tone when greeting my group. They were explaining the rules of the location but the delivery of her tone made it feel like they were already blaming us for breaking the rules. Service at the table was very quick! We got each item that we requested without any hesitation. Food: (Speed dating version) Beef Brisket - Must get. Cooks fast and great with sauces Hawaiian Beef Bulgogi/ regular beef bulgogi- get one or the other. Only difference in taste is the slice of pineapple in the Hawaiian version. Just ask for pineapple if you want it on the side. Spicy Pork belly- Must have. Great with sauces Iron Age steak- A LOT OF FOOD. came with a group of 4 and came out with 2 steaks. Summary: ask for small portions of all the food you are ordering so you can try it all!! On to my next adventure...

Yelp
THIS REVIEW IS DEDICATED TO GRACE (waitress) AND COCO (manager) When this location first opened the service was phenomenal and it continued so for the following years. However, my last visit here was literally so shocking. I will start off with the table we initially sat in. We ordered Brisket to start off our night. Normally, it will need to be cooked quickly since it tends to stick to the pan. Our order took so long to cook that we thought maybe it was in our head. However, the table in front of us mentioned that they were having the exact same troubles with the grill and were moved from that table. Once it was known to us, we decided to reach out and ask to be moved and that it was not fair to sit a party there while knowing the grill was not working. ESPECIALLY SINCE IT A TIMED RESTAURANT. Coco got very defensive and said that it's fixed while we're sitting with uncooked brisket on the 'high heat grill'. Once they reluctantly said it was okay for us to move tables, they stood and watched while we had to move our things. Once we moved each individual item, they all met up in the corner while looking at us and visibly talking about us. Now, I don't necessarily complain but this was ridiculous. Like if you're gonna be mad, do it behind the curtain. All of them tagged team in not providing service, even our waitress Grace, by either turning off the grill, bringing our stuff out last, and putting our grill down to low when we moved it up. It was not until I said OUT LOUD that they'll be mad with this ZERO DOLLAR TIP. Grace started visiting our table often and trying to make up the faults that were already committed. At the end, the new grill gave out and we sat with uncooked bulgogi for 10 minutes. I had waved her down early on but Grace decided to keep it moving and act like she didn't see me. At the end, when we walked out, they kept talking about our group even when we left. Like I said, I understand not enjoying working in a restaurant but nobody forced you to select that job. Plus, if you're gonna be mad, at least don't do it in front of the table. Doing that messes up your bag, like be smarter next time. Anyways, stay mad with that $0 tip.

Yelp
Really solid kbbq in DC, the $29 all you can eat is a great deal and better than a lot of other places. Not quite as good as some of the spots out in VA, but definitely the best option if you want to stay in DC. The last few times I've gone on a weekend night and had no wait, which is awesome. The only annoying thing is they blast the music too loud.

Yelp
Second time at this location, I still prefer Rockville's. The staff has changed and from previous staff team only Jun is left--sorrows, sorrows ladies, iykyk In terms of spending, the meat variety makes it worth it. I visited 2 days ago at around 6:15, it wasn't that busy and we only waited for like 5m to be seated. Our waitress was Yahir, timid, applied to his role. My only discomfort was feeling rushed when ordering the next meat, like I just served my well done bulgogi, can I prepare my first lettuce wrap w/o hurry? Ty. My friend and I ordered, Spicy Chicken, Soy Pork Steak, Spicy Pork Bulgogi, Shrimp, Beef Brisket(the thin roles of meat) & the Seasoned Steak(seasoning was left at the kitchen :') Water and a Honeydew soju. My fav to eat are the spicy chicken(it's not spicy at all), the spicy pork bulgogi(also not spicy), and the brisket. Our sides were steam rice(3 servings total), lettuce wraps, kimchi + complimentary sauces, pickle radish and ginger. We didn't like our seating place but we didn't say anything. The music was fire! I listened and sang along some song from Jessie to RM to SB19 to Taeyeon, etc... If am in the area and craving KBBQ, I go here. For all that we ordered it was $80 and a few cents which already include the automatic added 10% tip. Would bring seasoning at your own risk.

Yelp
Fantastic food. A beautiful atmosphere. The blue lights really gave a classy feel and just having a large table with two separate grills for my group. Made cooking and enjoying a breeze. I would recommend every day of the week.

Yelp
The food at this place was fantastic, especially the Korean barbecue. They offer an excellent deal where you can enjoy all-you-can-eat for $30 over a span of 90 minutes. The only caveat--hardly a drawback--is that you must pay for any leftover food once your time is up. Our group dove in immediately and made the most of the cooking experience. The flavors were incredible, not just the meats but also the accompanying sides like kimchi, rice, eggs, rice cakes, and salad.

Yelp
History of Present Indulgence: Been a minute since having Korean bbq and we were really looking forward to trying this place out. We were also craving unlimited meats so it was here vs. Fogo De Chao. Physical Exam: Food - Everything was okay. You might be asking, well that must be cuz you screwed up the cooking right? Naw, I'm talking meat quality and taste of the marinated items. It was giving... USDA Select. And the marinades were under-seasoned. Soy wasn't soy enough. Garlic wasn't garlic enough. You know? I wouldn't say the taste was bad, just all very mid. Service - This was what brought me from a 3 star to a 2 star. The second we walked in, we were greeted with rules. 90 minutes, lunch menu doesn't include XYZ, only 2 meats at a time, you pay extra for wasted food. I mean I get it, but a simple hello would've been nice? And despite us being the third table there for lunch, we were getting our orders at a pretty slow pace. One positive is they change our grill a lot to cook things on a clean grill (but a part of me wonders if it's to slow down the ordering because each new grill needs to heat up and switching shaves some time too). Ambiance - A very typical Korean bbq restaurant. It was quiet for the weekday lunch with plenty of tables available. They had a big screen playing k-pop, there was a bar, and they have a lot of specialty cocktails. Might be a fun spot when it gets busy. Assessment/Plan: At the price point, I'd say the unlimited meal is worth the try. It'll satisfy a meat craving, but maybe not a Korean bbq craving. All the food, both the main meats and the banchan side dishes aren't bad exactly, but are just unimpressive. I also completely get not wanting to waste food, but the 2 meats per order and constant grill switching resulted in just watching the bbq for a ton of time. Felt like watching paint dry. Overall, I'd give it a try but there's no need to run there.

Yelp
It was ok but a bit on the trendy side. Maybe it's just me but I don't get the fascination with cooking your own meat. The food was fine and the service was good but I am not sure I would go again.

Yelp
great korean bbq in dc! it's hue inside so there's usually always a table and a good location to go with a larger group. our waitress was so lovely and very helpful! it's all you can eat for $29, which is a fantastic deal (there's a 90min time limit). the side options are great; the rice cakes and noodles were our favorites! the meats that stood out to us were the garlic soy beef (recommended by our waitress), the spicy chicken, and literally any kind of the bulgogi! all the meats were seasoned great and they were really good about changing out our grill and helping us when needed! great spot and will for sure be going back often!
google avatar

Yelp
Really solid AYCE kbbq! The seasoned steak and spicy pork bulgogi was the best I think. They have a large selection and the service was amazing. It's strict on timing so don't expect to stay longer than 90 minutes! (But it's a good thing so that there isn't a long wait) UPDATING: I went to other locations after coming here and they are not as good as the dc location!
google avatar

Allen T.

Yelp
Wow! This place does not disappoint. It is located next to a grocery store, and you can get free parking in the garage for 2 hours when you eat here. This is especially useful given how hard it is to find parking in the DC area. I was craving some korean bbq for the longest time (since Charlottesville does not have one; they just recently opened one up and will have another one open up next year). So in DC I decided I must satisfy my craving. The selection of meats is not as great as other ones of the same price, but you get all the staples! They have a 90 minute time limit, but I think that is more than enough to stuff your face. We ordered about 6-7 rounds between two people and while we could have eaten more didn't want to have to roll out the door.

Yelp
Our favorite restaurant with my fiancé we love the food and the staff. Is tempting this restaurant

Yelp
This was not my first time trying Korean BBQ however this was my first time trying it at Iron Age. Let me start with the atmosphere of the restaurant. It was very nice and quiet. Our waitress was very attentive and checked on us periodically. The food was very good. We tried every steak and chicken (only because my friend is allergic to seafood). They also give you 4 sauces to try (Yum Yum, Peanut Sauce, Spicy Sauce, Salt & Pepper Oil) which were all so good I mixed mine together. We also wanted to try the Sake and was unsure of what flavor to drink so we let our waitress choose for us. If you're not a drinker go slow on the Sake lol. The overall experience was delightful and relaxing. Don't forget to get the glass noodles and white rice.

Yelp
Food choices especially veggies are very very limited. Meat quality is not high either. Mocktails were too sweet. During my two visits, both services were slow though one was on a not very busy weekday night. Could use better ventilation because you would smell like bbq after you dine there. It can be loud for conversations but not too bad.
google avatar

Yelp
It was my first time trying Korean bbq, the concept is great. You can cook you meat to your desired temperature. The waiters are very helpful as well. This location is walk-in only and gets really packed. The reason why I am giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because the host staff were a bit lost. I gave them my number and was told it was going to be a 10-15 minute wait. The host who took my number kept repeating my number back ti me wrong and I kept correcting her. After I waited outside for over 15minutes, I called and asked about my table and was told it was given away because of did not answer the text. I asked the host on the phone to repeat my number and again it was incorrect. Thankfully they were able to sit me shortly after but on a busy Saturday night the host staff should be better. They set the tone for a persons experience.

Yelp
The food was delicious but I'm so sad because I've been to the location right outside of Baltimore and they allow celebrations and the staff sing and give a little dessert for birthday but they wouldn't even do that for my bday. Ultimately, I don't think I'll be back to this location. I brought a group of 13 and while they were very accommodating when it came to seating us, that's about where the good service ended. Really saddened I spent my birthday celebration somewhere that wouldn't allow me to celebrate properly.

Yelp
Iron Age is a great place for Korean BBQ in DC. My wife and I came here on a Sunday for lunch when it was somewhat busy but there was seating left. Our food was all amazing as was our Soju. Our server was great as well and he explained it was a newer location of a popular spot in Rockville we have not tried. We look forward to returning to both here and Rockville at some point.
google avatar

Spencer H.

Yelp
Great place with a fun atmosphere. If you're not a fan of loud music, don't go. But they have music videos playing continuously in the background. The food was very good. Our favorite was the soy steak. But it seems hit or miss because the second portion that we got was not as good as the first. We also got chicken, vegetables, and some other sides. The staff was very helpful and made sure to let us know if certain things needed more time to cook. I wouldn't recommend this place for a vegetarian or vegan, but otherwise you're good to go. I would definitely go back!

Yelp
I went here for the first time yesterday , waiting time was between 20-35 minutes without reservation , pretty standard waiting time , we got seated and were greeted by our server . Food is great , we had the spicy chicken, shrimp, steak and beef , ambiance is great, service is kind of ok , I asked for drink recommendations I didn't really get any , had to search for the drink menu on the table instead and tried out the 7$ drinks they have . I started with the peach flower which was ok . All the drinks have low alcohol but I should've known because of the price , ,our server jimmy was ok . Nothing really out of the ordinary keep in mind when you come in the place the servers are tired and showing not much effort there's always room for improvement.

Yelp
Our second time trying this place and we highly recommend to enjoy this delicious menu. We had such a great experience. Coco, the girl who served our food she is AMAZING! Thumbs up

Yelp
It's not actually worth 3 stars but if you're living in DC proper, this is literally the only place that has actual, real, authentic kimchi. And even though the bbq meat itself is kind of shitty, it's not actual shit like Gogi Yogi aka worst fucking korean restaurant in the universe. Woe, is you if you live in DC proper and you just want some authentic Korean food. You're reduced to eating at Iron Age just to get some kimchi that doesn't taste like absolute bullshit. 6/10 +6 for being better than Gogi Yogi
google avatar

Yelp
It is a interesting place for me (Korean)~ All you can eat buffet - good choice for young people

Yelp
Service: 10/10 I feel bad for the servers because when it gets busy (and it gets busy quick) they have to stay on top of their tables. Our server was named Jay I think? He was great. A lot of times you get the feeling they don't come around because they don't want you to order more or something but Jay was on the ball and never gave us that impression. He was quick and polite. Food 10/10 This isn't gonna be some Gordon Ramsay burger but it's great Korean barbecue with the fam or friends. Marinades are good and selection is decent. I loved the spicy chicken best and my parents really like the hawaian ones because they liked pineapple. But the spicy chicken is a general winner. In terms of sides, I'd recommend the glass noodles/japchae. Atmosphere: 8/10 Dark, usually k-pop music videos playing. Kind of a young people vibe but still good for families. Overall they did nothing wrong so I'm giving a 5/5. Second time I came here. Both times were the same level of service so I felt I should write a review for once.

Yelp
There's lot of food and meat perfect place for meat lovers and grill. You have 90min, it's $29/person plus drink and tax. I don't eat much, it is kind of burn fast. The staff was nice always come check with you if you need something else. You have to order one menu of meat each and get one side if you don't finish it, he will not serve the next plate and he help you grill and cut it too which is nice. The Ambien was nice just like a bar and play Korean pop music.
google avatar

John L.

Yelp
I'd never been to a Korean BBQ Restaurant but I can assure you that after visiting the Iron Age BBQ in DC, I make a point of returning with family and friends. We worked our way thru roughly 25-30 perfect of the available meat choices. All the more reason to go back!

Yelp
Stopped here as a new option for KBB. Having been to Gogi Yogi it's hard to knock the king off the hill - but we grabbed and Uber and headed that way. It's an AYCE - with the usual table sides and two meat per order option. The main concern usually coming here is whether the waitstaff will be helicopter parents and try and cook for us rather than our guy Vog. So I made it a point to tell nearly everyone in the place upon entry and seating that he was capable of taking over and we didn't need babysat. First this place is cool - large tv screen blaring K-pop and whatever else - a variety of table types for groups or small gatherings. We started with the beef bulgogi and the marinated beef. The first meat's cook top on the grill looked like a rim and Vog got to work. The waiter at first did come by and play with the temp and turn over the meat - I would say due to muscle memory but Vog was unphased and pressed forward. On the next meat dispenses to the cook area - a grille screen was put on. Which for whatever reason got really dirty with the meat and then caused things to ignite under them. Acc to Vog this is not standard and really makes it harder on staff too. We ordered kimchi and rice and took it down. Also on our lemon pepper chicken order - they came out as breasts, they were frozen, and again a new screen was put down which was no applicable to the cooking of it. I'm addition the waiter was inconsistent with the temps he was putting the cooler at so Vog had to shut it down bc it was getting way too hot and burning the meat. Again - Vog needed to be given full control, and since he wasn't, the waiter put him in a tough spot. Overall I stall had a great time - the meats were great and I ate good. Would come back if Gogi Yogi is too crowded

Yelp
I love buffets, and came here with some friends since I was really craving some Korean BBQ. The servers were very polite and attentive to our table, constantly bringing food and refilling our glasses. They had the standard meats you would expect: brisket, bulgogi, steak. They also had some nice sides and sauces. My favorite was the shoyu steak which I cooked at a medium rare - it tasted excellent. The food overall was good, and the price was reasonable, though I do feel like their options were a bit limiting. I'm used to going to KBBQs with a lot more meat options. Regardless, would definitely come back here again.

Yelp
Overall it was a good experience. The meat was fresh and drinks were good. Especially, the pear sake. Our server kept coming back multiple times to ask us what we ordered but it wasn't a big deal because it takes a while to cook the food. The ambiance is what really makes this place unique. Nice lighting, Korean music videos on the wall and just the idea that you are making your own food. Don't order the shrimp if you want to have extra work lol. I recommend for a different style compared to your regular pick and server.
google avatar

Michael N.

Yelp
Didn't get to try the food at this location, but felt disrespected when I came with my puppy for dinner, denied her because I didn't have my proof she's a service dog. It's against the law to ask for proof.

Yelp
My partner and I went here on a Wednesday night close to 6 pm with no wait. We were sat immediately then eventually a waiter set up our table and another one explained how it works. We were only able to order 2 meat dishes at a time then whatever sides we wanted. We ordered all of the beef options except for the unseasoned steak and also got the shrimp and squid. I would say our favorite meat option was the Hawaiian bulgogi. It was so flavorful and juicy, but the soy-seasoned steak was also amazing. I enjoy cooking it ourselves and our waiter was helpful in cutting our meat at times. The atmosphere was loud, with K-Pop often playing loudly with TVs on. I disliked that part cause it made it hard to have a conversation, but you're also cooking and eating so fast that it's hard to talk anyways. Now my complaints are that the waiters seemed to rush us. We were cooking the beef brisket a few at a time and a random waiter came and dumped all of it at once on the grill without even speaking to us. A few got overcooked/cooked unevenly because we couldn't fix it quick enough with the fat sticking to the metal. Another complaint is that we are limited to a 90 min dinner and with at least twenty minutes left, we were rushed. Our waiter seemed reluctant to get us more meat, bringing us the check at the 70 minute mark and only willing to get us one more meat option. I didn't enjoy that cause we still could have eaten more. Overall, my partner and I ate 8 meat dishes along with kimchi and rice for $60. Not bad at all!

Yelp
I'm a pescatarian so I'm probably not the best person to review this place since the menu was mostly meat but I liked the vibe and the side options! I was just joining along with my boyfriend and friends and we opted for here since they had shrimp which I could eat. The shrimp was good. I wish they had more sauces but it was still nice! I really liked the sides though. I know he did some research before and some other nearby kbbq places were more expensive and didn't offer many sides so I'm glad to at Iron Age had a lot more going on with their menu.

Yelp
Food is incredible. Brisket, pork belly, bulgogi, definitely try the kimchi and the rice cakes. Those rice cakes are heaven. Big shout out to Kyle for 10/10 service everytime. The K pop on the walls and dim lighting set a great vibe. I've been here 8 times since it opened, and I'll go 800 more. I've never seen anyone sitting at the bar, which makes sense. The action is at the table top barbecue. Again, every single visit the service is top notch. Kyle and the rest of the crew are attentive and helpful, seating is usually a short wait. Tip well, Order fast (I always write down my list of meats on a napkin after looking at the menu) and you WILL be taken care of at Iron Age.

Yelp
We had such a good experience at this location. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They were very attentive helping us cook, and taking additional orders of food. The food was all incredible as well. The meats were marinated so well and tasted so good with the sauces. It all was very reasonably priced too. The space is fun and gives a "night life" vibe so fun to go with friends or fun with your partner. We will definitely be going back and highly recommend you try it out.

Yelp
I am so glad I visited recently with a friend. This was my first experience at a Korean BBQ place and I am hooked. I'm already ready to revisit. I went during lunch hours on a Saturday. It wasn't overly crowded, the ambiance was really nice, and I enjoyed the music/videos being played. Parking in the area can be pretty scarce, but they validate parking in the Giant parking lot for up to 2 hours. We were seated immediately and greeted with sticky rice, marinated ginger, and sauces. The menu had a lot of options so my friend suggested the bulgogi. I'm so glad she did because it was the star of the day. It was so good that we ordered a few rounds. I also tried the pork belly, which was elevated by the sauces. I will definitely return. The food was really good and the price point was great. All you can eat for less than $30. Sign me up. I had a great experience and I can't wait to go again.

Yelp
Out of all of the places I have tried in the DMV area for Korean BBQ, Iron Age has been my favorite. They have a nice ambiance and are in an easy to get to location. As someone who takes the metro, I really appreciate their close proximity to the metro stop! The staff was nice and I thought that the food itself was very high quality. They have great sides and their pricing is reasonable for the location. They had a great variety of soju! If you're looking for a fun place to eat with friends, I would highly recommend Iron Age.

Yelp
Had better experiences at every other Korean bbq I've ever been to. One was in Raleigh nc.... Why were there so many rules and restrictions. Also very very very limited options and only a few things were good from that. It's fine

Yelp
After a long week of meetings with colleagues on a DC trip, we were looking for something fun to do for dinner and we decided to try Iron Age. Low lighting, K-Pop videos playing on the walls above the booths and loud upbeat music made for a fun party atmosphere. A few of my coworkers hadn't tried Korean BBQ before, so a colleague and I walked folks through what to do. Young Jimmy was our server and he was really friendly and provided good service. We tried the Bulgogi, Brisket, Spicy Chicken, Side Vegetables and Shrimp. Most of my coworkers were full after the first two plates - but a couple of us kept going! Kimchi was great.

Yelp
I had an amazing afternoon with family stuffing our bellies till we couldn't eat anymore. The restaurant is very modern with K-POP playing in the background and on TV's around the restaurant. We had the best server I forgot his name but remember his crew number #26. Very nice person who tended us and even helped us cook some of our meat. He was very friendly and professional. The only downside is the side dishes that are served, they don't have a variety of spread compared to other Korean bbqs. I had an amazing time and had delicious food. Thank you !

Yelp
Just like your typical iron age like any other iron age. This place was good and spacious, we got sat for a party of 8 very quickly and the food was good. Meat came out fast and the server was responsive. Iron age is Iron age for quick KBBQ. It's hit or miss but this time around was good!

Yelp
Cool vibes, good price point, good service. Food is great for the price and you cant go wrong with AYCE. It was about $38 per person and we ate so much! There are some banchan, sauces and dishes you can choose other than the meat. Great vibes and def will go back!!

Yelp
Iron Age never disappoints! I decided to try this location out, since I love the one down in Catsonsville. The food and service was on point! Props to our waiter he was amazing. Everything was perfect. The Iron Age steak turned out to be amazing; the fire was strong which is really good if you are trying to get a nice char on your meat. They definitely don't skimp on their sauces which pairs really good with their steaks. Everything was beyond my expectations and the wait wasn't long either, ~5 minutes? The wait time is amazing considering this is in D.C. On a side note, the scissors here are by far the best I have ever seen out of all the ones I have used at any KBBQ. Definitely makes cutting a breeze! If you are ever in D.C. and want something affordable & delicious this spot does not disappoint! 10/10

Yelp
We came here out of desperation and we're not disappointed. We walked in with only an hour and half left. We also found out last call is at 1125 pm. So we only had 25 minutes to order. Our waitress noni hooked it up as we got everything we ordered quick. She even helped cook for us. When we sat down, the table had salad already waiting, bean curds, pickled turnip and something else. Either way we ordered almost everything on the menu lol including rice more salad etc... Everything was delicious. As long as we didn't waste. Let's just say we destroyed it and we walked home 2.2 miles.

Yelp
Me and my friends are kbbq fanatics and wanted to check out this location after going around and checking out a couple. The ambience is great. The scenery and setting is a nice vibe with K-pop playing on the tvs and speakers. Everything we got was delicious I just felt like I've had more options other places. There was a lot of different "pork steaks" but maybe add some seasoned pork belly. It was a great experience and I would go back.

Yelp
Come hungry because you should start with an empty stomach at Iron Age to take advantage of the all you can eat food. Our mistake was having eaten a late lunch beforehand but also ordering all of our protein at once, which resulted in it all coming out at once, not staggered (we did ask our waiter what was the best way to order and he did say all at once). The food itself was delicious, I honestly just wish we could've eaten more/ species it out a bit more (we were in and out in under 45 minutes). We got pork, steak, and squid to cook at the table and enjoyed them all. My main criticism was the restaurant itself was incredibly loud (to the point where we couldn't hear each other across the table) and the lights were reminiscent of a club even though it was 7 pm. The vibes very much did not match the food.
