Cute cafe that was once a bank. They have ice cream, lunch options, pastries, coffee, and desserts. Everything was delicious. Plenty of open seating and even seating at patio. Would come here again.

RUN. DONT WALK Let me start off by saying everyone that works here is extremely friendly and gives excellent service. The place is always clean, even when it is busy. Their breakfast sandwiches are to die for, I got the herb and cheese biscut, and it is full of flavor. My only criticism is that the seating is mostly these long tables which can be awkward if you are there by yourself. Otherwise one of the best coffee places in town

Eve Harclerode

Google
Good quality coffee, lots of food options and indoor seating and kind helpful staff. I got the coconut chocolate latte with oat milk and it was very good. I also got a biscuit sandwich with egg and cheese and it was very good. The food menu has build your own breakfast sandwiches, salads, and lunch sandwiches too, along with a snack and pastry menu and ice cream. They have vegetarian options. The shop has a good amount of indoor seating and has exterior patio seating and parking.

Our first time here and waiting in line gave us the opportunity to check out the vast menu.. they ran out of bacon which was disappointing to me.. kinda pricey too.

Google
Adorable coffee shop with what looked to be amazing breakfast sandwiches right on the main drag. Really yummy turtle mocha in a nice historical building was enjoyed by myself. Others in the group enjoyed the iced tea. The place was popping on a Sunday at noon. And the bathroom is really big. Looks like the have plenty of space they rent out for private gatherings.

I LOVE this amazing little coffee house. I come here with my friends, husband and kids all the time! My kids especially love the chocolate chip cookies, and all the fun little rooms! Their menus are expansive, there is SO much to choose from. I highly recommend a sausage/egg/cheese sandwich on the herb and cheese or sweet potato biscuits. You'll want one every morning! The staff is always so sweet and friendly, even when they are slammed on a Sunday morning. They also have outdoor seating that is dog, (or loud kid) friendly. They have fun little rooms all over inside too in case you want a little privacy. Iron Bank Coffee Co. is a staple in Uptown Columbus. If you've never visited, you are missing out!

First off when you walk inside the shop, the food smells really good and holds a very classy look. Nice furniture and plenty of space for people. Spots for outside seating as well. Bakery items were on point! Really well and super fresh. Have been looking for a spot like this for a long time! Will be coming back for the bakery treats as they have about 15+ assortments & an awesome menu for custom sandwiches and other drink items. Good atmosphere and awesome workers with a great attitude! 😄

Google
Cozy coffee shop! I love the fact it was an old bank turned into coffee shop. The vaults were still there but has a table in them like a private room, just don’t shut the doors haha.

Yelp
Iron Bank Coffee is such a cool spot . it's literally an old bank turned into a coffee shop, and you can even sit inside the old vault! The vibe is unique, and their coffee and service are both quick and friendly. They've got plenty of options for drinks and food, including subs and salads, so it's easy to grab something more substantial if you're hungry. The only downside is that it can get a bit loud on weekends because of the nearby farmers market and just the weekend during summer , but it still manages to feel cozy and quaint overall. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Yelp
Iron Bank Coffee Co may very well be the coolest coffee shop I've ever been to. It's got an amazing ambiance, a something-for-everyone menu and diligent staff. I popped in on a Sunday when I was visiting. The line was almost out the door (a good sign)! It had limited seating-- though the upstairs is open on the weekend (available for rental during weekdays) and it also boasts some patio seating. The baked goods selection and lunch menu were top notch for a coffee shop. (Those soups and salads looked sublime. I almost wish we had come during lunch instead of breakfast.) And the coffee menu was everything you'd hope for-- with some fabulous specialty lattes featured. I had the Monkey Business latte which had banana, vanilla, and white chocolate. The taste was great! They roast their own coffee in-house. My kiddos each had a smoothie and they had zero complaints. Pricing seemed standard. This gem is open daily. And you can skip the line out the order and order online for pickup. Even if coffee isn't your thing-- pop over! The Historic Iron Bank Building boasts the largest cast iron building in the state of Georgia and was built in 1860. You get to enjoy history every time you step into Iron Bank Coffee Co!

Yelp
Since I will be in the area for some time, I found this cafe to get some studying in. There are lots of drinks to pick from as well as pastry items. I opted for their Caramel chocolate chip cookies which was too crunchy for my likings but tasty enough. Staff were nice and there are plenty of seats and tables to pass the time at. They are open for longer than usual cafe hours which is ideal for me. Bathrooms were clean and parking is free. Will be coming again in hopes of finding a softer and chewy pastry!

Yelp
We were visiting the Columbus area and decided to stop into the Iron Bank Coffee Shop. Love the theme here at this shop! It still looks like a bank on the inside. Still has the safes and you can go inside them and sit down at a table. So cool. I got a Cinnamon Roll Latte and it was VERY good! So glad I got that one! In my opinion it was just right!!! My wife ordered the coffee drip with lavender. We also ordered an oatmeal cookie and it was delicious! The service was friendly. They were super busy and did take about 10 minutes to get our order but that understandable. I think the only negative was in my opinion; they need to do a deep clean on the inside and out. Other than that I would definitely recommend Iron Bank Coffee!

Yelp
Not yet tasted... just highly recommended as best coffee in town Plan to go this evening ... stay tuned!!!

Yelp
This spot offers a unique experience that blends history with modern comfort. Housed in a former bank, the concept is as intriguing as it is inviting. The highlight? There's some seating areas nestled within the actual vault. But it's not just the concept that shines here; the customer service is exemplary. The staff are not only friendly but also incredibly patient...they have a pretty extensive menu. I'm not a serious coffee drinker but my party was and they enjoyed each of their drinks.

Yelp
Went Saturday mid morning. Place was packed but was able to find seating. Wheelchair accessible. Had the cinnamon roll and caramel macchiato. Both were excellent. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely recommend and will visit again.

Yelp
Iron Bank is a phenomenal coffee shop! It has a very "hipster" aesthetic and ambiance, something I very much love in coffee shops / restaurants. Iron Bank serves amazing coffee (of all types), sandwiches, bagels, and desserts. Absolutely a phenomenal coffee shop with great service. I wish I would have known about this place years ago, but glad I got to experience them in the tail end of my trip here. Definitely recommend for coffee enthusiasts!
google avatar

Yelp
We have been here many times now. Always friendly service great choices whether you want sweet or savory and the coffee is always great. Relaxing atmosphere. Reasonably priced if you haven't tried it you should.

Yelp
Talk about a cool concept while maintaining some of the history!! I'm visiting for Creative South and the hotel Coffee was terrible! So ofcourse me and some work friends decided to venture out and check this place out. It definitely did not disappoint. Not only are the vaults super fun to sit in but the doors are a total art piece! The service was fantastic and the coffee and desserts were so good. If I lived here, this would be my spot. My monkey business latte was delicous and fun, I just wish I could uber eats their coffee and dessert all the time.

Yelp
- Ambiance/Vibe: Iron Bank stands tall and proud with a huge indoor and outdoor seating. Walking in I could tell that this was the place to be. It was a very bubbly atmosphere. My personal favorite thing about the space was the nook seating in the corners by the stairs. They looked like such cozy spots to sit and read or just hang out with friends. - Coffee: I grabbed an iced vanilla coffee, and it was so good. It reminded of one of my favorite shops back where I am from. It was so good that I ended up put purchasing some of IBCC's "The Vault" beans to bring home. - Food: The shop has an absolute plethora of food options from pastries to cream, sandwiches, and so much more. - Prices: prices were slightly higher than I expected, but not too far off. - Staff: The staff were extremely kind and welcoming. I was also super touched at the cashiers excitement when I asked for a coffee sleeve as I love collecting them from the shops I visit. She even gave me extras to make sure nothing. - Merch: There didn't seem to be much merch on our visit. However, on their socials it looks like they do offer some items. Overall I give this one a 4/5 's. It is a definite stop for a coffee, meal, or just to hang out with good friends and good vibes. I will be back.

Yelp
We came to Iron Bank a half dozen or so times on a recent visit to Columbus. I'm a twice a day coffee spot patron. I tried several iced and hot bevvies (iced oat lattes, cappuccino, iced dirty chai with oat milk) here. Everything was great! I'm guessing this is the best coffee spot in the are. Great menu, plenty of offerings ranging from coffee, tea, ice-cream, pie, sandwiches and more. Large option space. Go to coffee spot if you're in the area with after dinner hours as well. Service was always friendly and drinks came out in a very reasonable amount of time. We discovered the vaults which are cute and more private than the open dining area. All in all, wonderful coffee spot.
google avatar

Michael D.

Yelp
Very cool coffee shop in what used to be a bank in downtown Columbus. Two vaults have been converted into two sitting areas that are a little more private. Otherwise there's plenty of tables and chairs for people to sit. I spent the day here getting some work done and observed lots of other folks doing the same. Otherwise it seemed like a pretty popular meeting spot for smaller groups. Bring your headphones for the busier periods. It can get a little noisy with the chit chatting. I had the chicken salad sandwich which was delicious. The apple added a nice crunch. I had the cinnamon roll late (less sweet, oat milk) also very nice. They offer tea and other non-coffee drinks to include draft beer. I'd highly recommend this to anyone wanting a nice little spot in downtown Columbus.

Yelp
Iron Bank Coffee is a great little coffee shop in an old bank building. Coffee is good and there are a variety of other snacks and drinks as well as sandwiches. The service is always friendly and fast. I recommend the sweet potato biscuits. You can even eat in t
google avatar

Yelp
You MUST try the build your own biscuit sandwich! It is absolutely delicious with quality meat. My bf and I split one of those along with a freshly made blueberry lemon muffin. It's nice that they offer to heat up the muffin too. It was so tasty that we went back to get another one for the road. The coffee is good. The farmers market is their most popular item but also tastes like something you can get anywhere (Starbucks). The spring break was a unique white chocolate coconut flavor that was tasty. The shop used to be a bank and we got to eat breakfast in a vault. The staff is friendly and you can tell it's a popular place for locals. They were busy for a Fri mid morning but they worked efficiently through the line.

Yelp
Laid back environment, good coffee and treats, wonderful service. As a GA transplant from California, it's nice to find a place that reminds me of home.

Yelp
This has got to be one of the coolest coffee shops I've ever been to. Parking is a nightmare of course because it's in a fun part of town but on an early Sunday morning - it was the perfect way to start our day! The interior is very cool giving off a kind of old-timey, Hogwarts vibe. There were back rooms, family style seating, and old tile. The line is practically set up though it did get quite long! I had the drink recommended for libras - a tuxedo type coffee with white chocolate, milk chocolate, and an almond flavoring. It was DIVINE! I could've probably had 5 more things off their menu that day and was wildly torn. This is the must stop, must see place in Columbus
google avatar

Yelp
This coffee is great tasting and it is located in an old bank which makes it all the more unique. It has some decent seating areas inside and outside, and the employees were very helpful on our first visit. If it wasn't full the day I want, I would have gladly stayed for a while. I will definitely go back and I highly recommend giving their coffee a try.
google avatar

Yelp
Coffee and sandwiches were every food. Service was fast and it was so busy. Yummy pasties and bread. Ambiance was wonderful.
google avatar

Yelp
Be aware of after work running groups coming in at dusk for beers. All coffee drinks were nicely crafted with excellent espresso!

Yelp
Iron Bank has been a name I've known for years. My friends always talked about how they loved it but I'm not a fan of coffee so I was iffy to go. Just a few day ago, my sister took me for the first time and since I've been back 3 times. I absolutely love their danishes. Only tried the cheese, lemon cheese, and strawberry cheese so far and those three are all amazing. The pastry is very flaky and soft, a good ratio of filling to pastry. It's light and flaky. Delicious. I also got a blueberry pomegranate smoothie that was amazing. A little sour so if you don't like sour, not your thing. My drinks arrived in a timely manner too, the staff are all polite and super sweet. It's perfect if you want to go inside and study. Plenty of seating, usually quiet. There is even sitting outdoor too. I recommend iron bank

Lexie R.

Yelp
Came here for a quick morning, coffee and sandwich break. I do have to say this why the lobby is exquisite. The menu is clear has nice descriptions. The staff does not seem always happy to be there. They weren't very outgoing gonna offer us any guidance because you can clearly tell we were first timers, we did up ordering a nitro, cold coffee and then a iced coffee. Both the coffee's were good. I can appreciate the balance of flavor, the robustness and the creaminess of ice coffee the nitro coffee had a great balance bowl flavor and smooth taste the downfall is the sandwiches the sandwiches we got had hardly any filling in them as you can see in the pictures like literally half of what you would expect while the flavor was there there's just no meat or LA. I would not go back in order a sandwich, but I would go back and have a coffee after payday because it is kind of expensive.
google avatar

Ian P.

Yelp
They have really great coffee and really delicious breakfast sandwiches. The staff is always really friendly. This is my go to place when I'm in Columbus.
google avatar

Debi W.

Yelp
We stopped here on our way to Birmingham. What a nice stop. The history of the building (and town) is worth seeing. The coffee and baked goods were exceptional too. I had the cold brew with almond milk and a chocolate croissant--just wow! Perfect pairing imho. My husband had a black coffee and peanut butter cookie. Both were great--cookie thick and chewy. Coffee was how he likes it, hot and black. House Blend. We sat in the old brick bank vault, something I've never done. If these walls could speak!

Yelp
EXCELLENT COFFEE IN A COOL SPACE =============================== They use Stumptown coffee and serve all sorts of pastries, sandwiches and even beer on tap. We've been there twice in the last two days and it's very close to my son's apartment. Iron Bank is located in a historic building that used to be used as a bank. Inside the shop are a couple vaults. We hung out inside one of the vaults to enjoy our coffee and pastries. Definitely check it out if you're in Uptown Columbus.

Yelp
This is a really awesome coffee shop! The converted bank space is cool, but what makes it is the great food and friendly staff. I ate here a few times during my week in Columbus and always left happy. The menu is very large and has something for everyone. A few words on everything I had over my visits: Spicy Sweet Potato Sandwich & Wasabi Ginger Hummus Sandwich: Tasty and creative vegetarian options (and can be made vegan if you remove the cheese)! The sweet potato sandwich in particular was really memorable - I loved how the cheese melted into the sweet potato mash. Both the sourdough and wheat breads were fresh and wholesome. Blue Cheese Slaw (side): I really enjoyed this different take on coleslaw! Tasty dressing and fresh, crunchy vegetables. Butternut Squash Parfait: Possibly the most I've ever enjoyed a yogurt parfait. Loved the mashed squash with cinnamon, and the nut topping went very well with it. Workout Scone: This contained dried fruits and nuts. I like baked goods with lots of "stuff" in them and this was very enjoyable. Topped with coarse sugar but the scone itself was not too sweet. Sweet Potato Biscuit: Fresh and fluffy, and very nice heated on the grill. Almond Toffee Pie & Coconut Pie: Both had a rich filling (especially the almond toffee) and a perfectly baked buttery crust. The toffee pie melted in my mouth and the coconut pie had large tender shreds of coconut which gave it a nice texture. The toffee pie was quite sweet, as you'd expect, but the coconut was a little lighter. Latte, Steamer, & Iced Americano : I had the latte with almond milk and amaretto syrup, the steamer with macadamia milk and butter pecan syrup, and the americano black. Their decaf espresso is great! I usually take my drinks without sweetener but couldn't resist trying the different flavours they had, and was relieved that I could clearly taste the flavour without the drink being overly sweetened. Kombucha: They have kombucha on tap! I took the non-alcoholic but they also have an alcoholic kombucha. I didn't ask what the flavour was, but it tasted like cranberry. On the sweeter side as far as kombucha goes, but not so much that it covered up the funky fermented taste (which is a good thing if you like kombucha). Everything was really great, and I always felt so welcomed by the staff. The service was very efficient - they kept things moving along even at the times when it got really busy, and they use a speaker to call when orders are ready so it's easy to hear even if you're not near the counter. If this shop were located where I live I'd be going all the time.

Yelp
Iron bank cafe is a colga staple. From morning breakfast runs to afternoon study sessions, Iron Bank has everything you need to to support your day. My friends I used to frequent this place after school for a quick fix and hangout, but now i love it for getting some work done. The space and large and features communal tables for working. They even have an upstairs space that you can reserve for meetings or study sessions. Just the perfect place tbh. My go to order is a buffalo chicken sandwich with a calloway blue water, but i can advocate for any soup of the day, the build your own salad or any of the pastries in the window. My favorite is the cream cheese danish! The staff is always super friendly and helpful Parking here can be tricky, but its free and downtown colga isn't a bad place to walk if the day allows for it.

Yelp
I have been to Iron Bank on several occasions, while visiting friends and family in Columbus. It is my favorite spot to grab coffee downtown. It is cute, and has large windows that let in great lighting. They have plenty of seating, and they even have this cute little vault room in the back. They have a wide menu of food and drinks, and they make a really solid coffee. On my most recent visit, I ordered the farmers tan latte, which had caramel and white chocolate. It was so good!

Kloey H.

Yelp
Food is amazing! i got the toasted Hot ham & cheese sandwich i recommend it , flavor is bombbbb

Yelp
Must try coffee, beer, breakfast and lunch place with a great vibe and plethora of excellent coffee options! May I say excellent coffee for the coffee lover! I have been here twice in two days.
google avatar

Cheyenne M.

Yelp
A very cool and unique spot. It's definitely busy so unless you get there at a good time don't expect to grab a table and stay awhile but if you get to, enjoy all the vibes! I had the Monkey Business latte and honestly.... I never expected to want banana on my coffee but that was a game changer

David Y.

Yelp
Great coffee. Much better than Starbucks. Yelp won't let me post just that it's great coffee, even though that's all you need to know. So, as filler, I submit to you the following: Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud exercitation ullamco laboris nisi ut aliquip ex ea commodo consequat. Yelp
As an African American male, I did not feel very welcomed. The ambiance was southern historic, staff was amenable but not my kind of place.
google avatar

Alyra C.

Yelp
Ordered a monkey business latte and a roast beef provolone on sourdough bread. Everything was good. Have a vast selection of hot and iced coffees. Cute atmosphere with rooms that look like vaults
google avatar

Ashley L.

Yelp
Such a cool place being it is an old bank. They've kept a lot of that charm by exposing vault doors. They have so many options for drinks, food and even ice cream. I would recommend this stop in Downtown Columbus.

Food C.

Yelp
Super nice servers! My iced coffee cup broke and the young lady quickly said don't worry ill clean that up. I felt so bad. She gave me another coffee and again reassured me that it was no big deal. Super super nice! Also great coffee. Love the ambiance of using an old bank. You can sit in the vault drinking your coffee. Fun!

Alison H.

Yelp
Coffee- good! Atmosphere- excellent! Avocado toast- yuck! It was basically guac with bland precooked and reheated rubbery egg on top. Food wasn't fresh at all.
google avatar

Sierra B.

Yelp
A bit more on the expensive side of things for coffee, pretty expansive menu, and they had salads - beer - and pastries. We didn't try the food, so can't account for that. No masks required for entry if you're concerned about that, no real social distancing, so just know that if you're at an at risk population those are things to consider. The coffee was good, but lukewarm and that's where I'm taking a star off. My husband's was good though!
google avatar

Daphne G.

Yelp
Great ambiance and great hot latte. We had the muffins that were great and the breakfast meals are also amazing.
google avatar

Carol W.

Yelp
What a unique building with great coffee. We stopped here on our way through Columbus heading back to Wisconsin. I don't know if we'll come this way again but if we do you can bet we'll stop here again!! We had the Monkey Business and the Be Mine lattes and both were some of the best we've had!! Very flavorful and the perfect temperature to drink immediately!!

Brooke D.

Yelp
The girl at the front asked me how i was then waited for the answer. she was helpful with recommendations for my first cup, recommending the S'mores latte. holy smokes! delicious. the environment was laid back and clean. service was fast and genuine. I'll be back next time i'm in town.
google avatar

Arelys Q.

Yelp
If you are in Columbus Georgia for anything you need to stop by this coffee shop. It's a great place to have coffee and hang out with your friends. I went on a Saturday afternoon and ordered a chocolate chip pecan cookie with a Heath bar frozen coffee. The cookie and coffee was really good. I thought it was cool that they transformed the bank vaults into sitting rooms. This coffee shop used to be a bank now a coffee shop.

Richard R.

Yelp
Fantastic food and coffee but oh my is this place in need of a clean. Just look up at the chandeliers, ventilation louvres, walls above the food. Sure hope those dust bunnies aren't landing on the food.
google avatar

Jasmine M.

Yelp
Two stars for their cinnamon buns but their drinks are terrible. Their drip coffee and matcha are terrible
google avatar

Larry S.

Yelp
Best drip coffee in town and if deluxe coffee concoctions are your thing, there is no end to the special lattes, teas, ice coffees and non-coffee drinks too. They have a huge variety of baked goods, build your own breakfast sandwiches and quiches. If you're not an early riser, come later in the day for specialty sandwiches and even a large selection of draft beer on tap! The old bank building is beautifully modeled for comfort and enjoyment. You can even have a table in one of the old vaults with your friends! Stop by and give it a try. You'll be back, I promise you!!!

Yelp
I heard about this coffee co. by my BIL who had come here years previous. The area in general if very beautiful and historic. As soon as we opened the door we were in awe. The decor is simplistic & you can definitely tell that they kept some of the banks' original structure. They turned two of their vaults into cozy sitting areas for you to enjoy your coffee & breakfast. We went on a Monday around 9am & it was not busy at all. Many people were working on their own projects and the noise was almost nonexistent, it was very peaceful. I ordered a Caramel machiatto w/ oat milk & I'm not sure why because I usually just drink espresso. Needless to say, I did not enjoy it BUT it's possibly because I like my coffee strong & I should've ordered an extra shot. I'm giving it a 4 because I didn't try any of their pastries or food & the coffee that I ordered was not to my preference. I will definitely come back here though to try out more things. Overall, I loved the location, atmosphere, nostalgia & the customer service was great as well. The barista was very helpful at guiding me around the menu. If you're looking for a trendy, hip, low-key yet high quality nostalgic place to enjoy coffee & breakfast alone or with family & friends I definitely recommend.

Haley J.

Yelp
The chicken salad sandwich had barely any chicken and it had apples and cranberries and it was more like a fruit salad than chicken but the rest of the food was good. The service was really good. The restaurant had a really nice atmosphere and nice design.
google avatar

Thomas R.

Yelp
We stopped here for a mid-day pick me up. I ordered a black iced coffee and added a few things at the self serve area. Wife ordered a springbreak iced latte ver delicious. We also ordered an apple cinnamon muffin and Roast beef and provolone sandwich. Everything was delicious. Service was quick and the coffee and old bank vibe go together great. The small rooms inside the individual bank vault made it even better for one on one time.

Yelp
Cute place the baristas were adorable! The place is definitely brick and beauty. The baristas were super helpful! I landed on the basic coffee macchiato with macadamia milk. They also had a cinnamon roll that I completely devoured! If I am in this area I defiantly be back again!
