"This bustling spot serves breakfast all day, but “waffle” burgers are also a hit. Walk off protein-packed omelets, crab Benedict, and creamy grits by wandering to the water to take in the natural beauty of the surrounding harbor. A morning weekday happy hour (8 a.m. to 10 a.m.) caters to Ernest Hemingway types with $6 bacon bloody marys." - Tierney Plumb, Claudia Rosenbaum

I chose this place for brunch for my daughters 11th birthday last week and she truly enjoyed the food. The service was great I forgot the waitress name but she was very great at recommending dishes and constantly checking up on us. We tried the breakfast I wanted a burrito and it was a nice size and tasted very good. My daughter got a kids meal with the berry pop tart and it was delicious. We also tried the chicken and pancakes with the grits which was also good. The prices were very reasonable and I just loved the atmosphere.

Our server Rachel was wonderful! She was so happy and attentive. We do not live in the area and this was our first visit. The food was great and unique. It is a cozy place to eat the day after Christmas. We would go back again when we are in the area.

We had lunch here sitting outside on Dec end while sun is bright and mild breeze. The setting made up for the experience. The service and food was nice. There were plenty of breakfast and entrees but we could try only so much. The buffalo chicken sandwich and glazed seaseme chicken was very good and tasty.

Google
Never a disappointing experience at Iron Rooster! From the service, the cocktails and the food, it's always a 12 out of 10. Highly recommend their brunch & the "RoosTarts" which are homemade pop-tarts but double in size & made with fresh ingredients. Every time I visit Iron Rooster, I truly feel like I've hit the jackpot!

Breakfast on the second floor, the drinks arrived fast and were tasting. The chicken and waffles came and the chicken had great flavor as well as the gravy, but the waffle was moist and soft and could not hold up to the chicken and gravy. The second meal all the meats were cooked perfectly, but the eggs had to be done more than once as the whites came raw, after asking specifically to make sure the whites were done, the server did a great job. We will be back to try other dishes.

We are on vacation and to the Iron Rooster in Annapolis during the boat show. The place was hopping and tons of help, but a very long wait for food. And we got the wrong order, and the new waitress did not want to listen to us that it was wrong so she just placed it on the table and left. They serve breakfast all day and a fun list of crush drinks. We had a mix of burgers and breakfast for our orders. Overall good place to sit and eat. There is a ton of outdoor seating as well.

Google
Here's my honest review: ✨Location✨ You can't beat this location. Right up the bottom of downtown Annapolis with tons of shops and walking areas nearby. Right across the street from the water and right next to the naval academy ✨Price✨ I think the prices are extremely fair for the level of customer service and quality of food you get ✨Ambiance✨ I love eating outdoors when I come here. I think being able to sit outside and truly get the Annapolis atmosphere. Music and people and hustle and bustle ✨Drinks✨ I love to get the champagne bottle with the orange juice bottle because that allows everybody at the table to make the properly proportioned mimosa they desire ✨Recommendation✨ I always recommend people go here. This is one of my favorite comfort spots growing up. I always recommend that you get their homemade Pop-Tarts. ✨Food✨ The food is always amazing. I always tell people to either get the big breakfast bowl or get the quesadillas. Obviously you have to get their Pop-Tarts and you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. ✨Customer Service✨ this please gives me homely vibes. They run like a Mom and Pop even though they are a chain around Maryland. I think that they treat everyone like family. They are very accommodating. Last time I went I came in last minute with a group of eight and they were able to see those all near each other instantly which is unheard of on a busy liberty weekend for the academy

Google
Lovely restaurant in a historic building (I think most of Annapolis seems historic), but regardless what a delicious and decadent breakfast. I can really only review the crab cake Benedict with homes fries which was fabulous. I would stick with the grilled tomato over the fried green tomatoes I subbed for, it was just slightly too much breading. You can also get views of the harbor on the second floor.

Yelp
Went here for breakfast. The food was excellent, as was the coffee. We sat outside, but we weren't cold because the heaters. It was gorgeous. We will definitely be back. We also got the roostart, which is what they are known for, and it was awesome. We got it to go because we were so full and then toasted it in the oven for 7 minutes later that day. Yum!

Yelp
Came here during a beautiful fall day so we were able to enjoy dining outside. I will say if you are afraid of BEES like me, I would sit inside, they have so many bees who are attracted to all the yummy sweets. I got the breakfast combo with scrambled eggs, pancakes, and bacon. (so nothing special really) $16.75 My husband got the Steak & eggs and he said it was really delicious for the price point + the quality of meat was great! $24.95 Kids Meal - got the breakfast combo for littles (lol) but this actually comes with a mini home poptart (mixed berry roostart)! So that was super cute The food was just OK. The home made poptart was not good, we did not touch it after a bite. The service was awful. It started off strong but I think our server went on her 15 minute break and didn't come back until way after.

Stephanie T.

Yelp
Excellent service and the food was delicious. I wasn't very hungry but I got everything crab related (native Marylander lol). I ordered the crab fries and the crab soup. It was excellent. One of my boys got a kids chicken nuggets meal and it was heavily portioned which was good because he was hungry. Every kids meal comes with a homemade pop tart. Yum! Definitely will come back here!

Yelp
On a cold evening, the thought of a Roostart - their homemade pop tart - warmed my soul. But when seated, the proverbial tables were turned and we tried their crab dip. Served with pita bread and tortilla chips, this was a legit and warm dish. The Angry Pig Omelette with sausage, bacon, jalapeños, provolone, and chipotle hollandaise was filling and just the right spice. Home fries were a nice pile of goodness. Alas, there was no room for a Roostart but you really can't go wrong with all the delish options at Iron Rooster.

Genessis H.

Yelp
The food was delicious! The service from the staff was excellent and very kind. The sound was moderate, the atmosphere of the place was all good vibes. The food did take a bit longer than anticipated but it was also very busy at noontime. Definitely keep in mind to be patient. The waitlist was only 15-25mins long but felt like 10 mins for my group(4 people) Thank goodness this place restrooms were super tidy and nice!

Garid G.

Yelp
An excellent brunch spot for any number of people. We went on a Tuesday morning/early afternoon so it was mostly empty. The service was excellent. Our waitress had the biggest brightest smile while serving us. She was never too far to answer any questions or to make sure everything was going well. A+ Food was excellent. The pancakes were so fluffy. Definitely recommend getting a topping though as the pancakes soak up the syrup so fast because it is pretty lite. Bacon was cooked perfectly crispy and egg whites were also well done. We also got a half waffle and scrapple which were also nicely cooked. Parking can be troublesome due to location but that's to be expected in downtown Annapolis. Prices are only slightly above average from what we have experienced. All in all we would go back to try the chicken and other options!

Yelp
An absolute must visit when making the trek up to Annapolis. Iron Rooster is an institution that has me fully indoctrinated. Homemade poptart is a must order but don't try to take it down yourself it's a big beast.

Jose P.

Yelp
Had lunch at the Iron Rooster and had a pleasurable time. The restaurant has two floors and has a nautical/beachy/patriotic theme. Our server, Amber, was very pleasant. She gave great recommendations and kept us comfortable throughout the entire meal. Our selections... the Burger Burger (8 oz. burger, provolone cheese, tomato, onions, pickle, brioche bun, with a side of broccoli) and the Honey Salmon (8 oz. salmon filet, hoison honey glaze, cilantro rice, toasted sesame seeds, and potato salad) were both well seasoned and cooked to perfection. I recommend the Iron Rooster and enjoy your maritime meal.

Yelp
This is located in downtown Annapolis. There is no parking. They got outdoor seating and indoor seating. It's great to sit outside and watch the water. It's American food. I've been to this place twice I always love the watermelon & goat cheese salad. It's to the point that I create it at home. I just love juicy and sweet watermelon on hot summer day. It pairs well with goat cheese and balsamic glaze. We also got French toast and chicken. The French toast you really need to put the syrup on it. The chicken is southern chicken. I will say the sweet tea my preference needs to be sweeter. But my bf thinks it's too sweet. So you decide if you want it or not. Our waiter is super nice. He gave us recommendation. He even let me sample the sweet tea. Definitely come here!

Joe J.

Yelp
Easily the best breakfast food in Anne Arundel County. I came here last week with my wife and was blown away. The crab hash and chicken and waffles were delicious and don't get me started on the breakfast eggs rolls. Our server provided excellent service, and we're already making plans to come back for happy hour. We had been planning to come here for some time, but now I wish we hadn't waited so long. Better late than never I guess.

Yelp
Patio--amazing. Service--great. Food--also great. Very expansive menu with lots of cocktail, breakfast, lunch, etc options. Definitely try their version of a homemade PopTart. We tried the brown sugar one and it was so good but we had to save some room for our entrees! Pancakes delicious. You can just tell that this is the breakfast hotspot of Annapolis--great location, lots of seating, and just the kind of breakfast food you need. Felt kind of expensive compared to your usual/traditional breakfast, but I'm sure they factor in the proximity to the water, outdoor seating, etc.

Yelp
Customer service - 5 out of 5 Wait time - 5 out of 5 Atmosphere - 5 out of 5 Cleanliness - 5 out of 5 Food quality - 5 out of 5 My son and I stumbled upon the Ironbird Rooster during a recent visit to the area for a swim meet at the Naval Academy. The staff's commitment to excellence was evident right from the start. The front-of-house team greeted us with genuine warmth, and our waiter was not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. As a parent of a child with allergies, I was relieved to learn that the restaurant prides itself on being peanut and tree nut-free--a thoughtful touch that put us at ease. Despite being told about a 20-25 minute wait for outdoor seating, we were pleasantly surprised when they seated us immediately. We opted for a table outside, shaded by a welcoming umbrella. The weather was perfect, and we appreciated having the option to close the umbrella to bask in the sun. If you have a furry friend, bring them! This restaurant is super pet-friendly. Even during peak hours, the Ironbird Rooster maintained impeccable cleanliness. Tables were promptly cleared, and the overall ambiance felt inviting and well-maintained. I got the Southwest Salad and it was a revelation: crisp, refreshing, and bursting with flavor. I added grilled chicken, and it elevated the dish to perfection. In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend the Ironbird Rooster to families and friends seeking an enjoyable dining spot. Whether you're in the mood for a leisurely meal or a quick bite, this restaurant delivers on all fronts.

Yelp
The atmosphere of this place is on point! Very homey with twists and turns around every corner! The place is much bigger than it appears from the outside. We were pleasantly surprised! The staff was great, helpful with suggestions on food, and joked around with the different tables. Such a hidden gem. The food melted in our mouths so flavorful.

Yelp
This is a super cute breakfast spot in Annapolis. We went on a Saturday morning and it was busy, but we were able to get a table within 10 minutes. They have indoor and outdoor seating, so we sat outside. For food, I had the Mick's griddle. The sandwich was really good on the French toast. I got home fries on the side and I wish they had been crispier, they were more mushy. We also shared the candied bacon. We didn't realize the bacon was going to be spicy, so we weren't as into that but we clearly just didn't read the menu. My friend got the pina colada crush and I tried a sip and it was so good. When I visit again, I'm definitely getting that drink. The service was a bit slow but they were quite busy. Definitely a cute spot to try if you are in Annapolis.

Kendra B.

Yelp
My family and I went to Iron rooster for brunch. Upon arrival we were greeted and seated. On the inside, they have a homey ambiance and outdoor seating. Our server Meg was a delight and offered many suggestions. We tried the Salmon which has a nice honey flavor. The blackened chicken ravioli which my mom enjoyed. I had chicken and waffles. The chicken was okay - the breading was falling off and crumbly. The honey mustard vinaigrette was yummy! My boyfriend got the burger which he enjoyed. To me, I am grading this as being okay 7/10.

Dale D.

Yelp
Delicious brunch location with ample outdoor seating. Warning: the outdoor seating has limited umbrellas. You will likely be sitting under direct sun. Service was kind but on a Sunday at noon I think they were overwhelmed and weren't able to be as attentive as could be. We weren't able to receive water refills and service was slow. Completely understand they are busy though. Food was delicious. Crab hash was delicious. The chipotle hollandaise was the cherry on top. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito and said it was dry.

Christine Y.

Yelp
Very mediocre spot in the dead center of the main Annapolis water front area. I would give it another try if there wasn't anything else I was craving. My husband and I tried the chicken and waffle from here. It was mediocre- slight dry fried chicken and pretty good waffle. However, we both have low tolerance for dry fried chicken...especially in the DMV area that is known to have great friend chicken and waffle places. The service was pretty good, not TOO slow. Ambiance is casual. We ordered for take out and ate by the water. The restaurant is located in the dead center of the touristy area of Annapolis, so Iron Rooster might be one of the better options in the area

Terra D.

Yelp
Server was impeccable in his delivery and menu presentation. Finally milk and non dairy milk for the u fortunate ones of us with dairy allergies. The place is wonderful and clear . Waiting for the food now. Will will be back.

Joanna M.

Yelp
This location has metered street parking but it is free before 10am. It is a big restaurant with an upstairs with more seating and a full bar. We were seated quickly. Our server was in training and did a great job checking in and taking our orders. Our food came out quickly. This restaurant doesn't have gluten free toast. The food was good. One of the better hollandaise sauces I have had, not too much mayo and good flavor. The Hashbrown were perfectly crunchy. I would definitely be back for the eggs Benedict.

Patrick B.

Yelp
Had a really nice lunch at Iron Rooster while vacationing in Annapolis. Nice, varied menu of brunch and lunch specialties. Not a large wine or beer selection, but adequate. Props to Alex for a pleasant, well served meal.

Mark E.

Yelp
On our third or 4th visit to Iron Rooster on a sunny Friday in mid summer, the extremely competent wait staff again did not disappoint. They handled the crowded dining room and outdoor seating areas with expert aplomb, and moved people in and out with keen efficiency, which we appreciated given our afternoon boatride tickets. Breakfast seems the call here, no matter the hour. For many lunchtime restaurants do not open til 1130 or later, the earlier seating really makes IR a find.

Hallie S.

Yelp
We stopped here for breakfast while staying in Annapolis and the food was amazing! My breakfast sandwich was huge and the garlic aioli on it is to die for. My mom's French toast was also delicious and came with a fruit bowl. The restaurant here is decorated so cute and feels so homey while overlooking the bay. Our server was great. Highly recommend this place if you're in town. I want to try one of the rooster tarts next!

Kayla R.

Yelp
Had the Vegie omelette and coffee Great spot for breakfast the seating outside is plentiful. Service was attractive and food came quickly. Definitely recommend.

Greta J.

Yelp
Can't complain. We decided to go there cause I had heard so much about it, and it lives up to it's reputation. So glad we did. The menu is vast really does give you a variety of options for breakfast. I started with a bloody Mary, which was very good. Then I got the California club omelette, it was big and filled with to brim with goodies and topped with guacamole. My partner got Chicken and french toast. This item can with homemade hot sauce and syrup. My partner could not stop raving about this dish. My server was very nice and responsive. Seating is ok, especially for Annapolis. Parking is mostly a miss. This restaurant should be saved to your must go list, I promise you won't be disappointed.

Faizah C.

Yelp
Iron Rooster is set in the perfect location for parking, people watching, and in distance from other businesses for walking along the promenade. As I walked up to the establishment there were servers dashing back and forth with these fantastic plates. Everything looked good. And the smell was extraordinary. I wanted to make sure it was the spot I was supposed to meet. We sat on the patio with plenty of umbrellas and cover. Our server, Dillon(sp) was awesome and kept every need fulfilled. We ordered ONE pannycake with the the maple bourbon butter and hot syrup, bacon, eggs Benedict, and biscuits with sausage gravy. The drinks and food were up to par. There was no wait. Food came out lightening fast. It is Fall and the middle of the week so perhaps we got the best of it all in Annapolis on this day. The boat show is also happening around this time... I definitely would return to this spot.

Mary Catherine D.

Yelp
My husband and I went here for a late breakfast today. Despite the fact that it was very busy, my husband and I were seated immediately. Our waiter came promptly to take our drink orders. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles. He prefers when chicken and waffles is served with chicken on the bone, but despite the fact that these were chicken tenders, he said they were seasoned very well, and he really liked the gravy that came with his order. I ordered the Belgian waffle with chocolate chips, Nutella, and bananas. The waffle was huge. The only thing I can say is that they were very heavy-handed with the Nutella. For some that is definitely not an issue, but I found it very overpowering. I did appreciate that the banana slices helped to cut through the richness of the Nutella. Had I realized how much Nutella I would have, I definitely would not have asked for the chocolate chips. They got lost in everything! Atmosphere was very welcoming, and the restaurant was clean. If you are in the city dock portion of Annapolis, you should definitely check this restaurant out. However, be warned... Can be a little tricky.

Monique C.

Yelp
Great service and delicious food. Been a couple times and both were consistent in serving flavorful food in a friendly atmosphere

K.P. S.

Yelp
Everything about this place is excellent. Great outdoor atmosphere and fantastic food! For as busy as they were the servers were quick and attentive. Can't wait to go here again!

April H.

Yelp
Nice breakfast/brunch place right next to City Dock. We came on a Saturday around 11am, put our name down, and waited about 15 minutes. We were seated inside. I think I read another review about it being really cold inside - they def had the AC blasting, so by the end of the meal I was pretty cold. Our waitress was even wearing a sweatshirt (in August) lol. Service was attentive, checking on us periodically. My husband and I shared the mixed berry roostart, which was yummy but very sweet. I got the chicken and waffles, which was really good. The portion is bigger than it looks in the photo. The chicken and gravy were really good! I like my waffles to be a little crispy, but these were more fluffy. The home fries were great too. My husband got the basic breakfast and enjoyed it. The orange juice seemed freshly squeezed but was not that sweet. We spent $70 for two people, which is a bit high for brunch. Still, I'm glad we tried Iron Rooster and would recommend it if you are in Annapolis.

Brian O.

Yelp
I was in Annapolis a couple weeks ago and stopped by for a quick meal. It was awesome! I really enjoyed the food, but what stood out was the cocktails; omg soooo good!

Chris R.

Yelp
Iron Rooster is a solid spot for a tasty meal, and their chicken and waffles dish is definitely worth a try. The fried chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the waffles are fluffy and delicious. It's a classic combo done well, with just the right amount of sweetness from the maple syrup. Overall, Iron Rooster serves up some slightly above-average comfort food that hits the spot if your in the area.

Donald C.

Yelp
The food is delicious I used a delivery service with good service. I ordered a hamburger, fries, and slaw. The medium well burger was medium well, the fries were crisp, not soggy and not laden with grease. The slaw was great. It wasn't too sweet and it wasn't drowning in slaw sauce.

Jane P.

Yelp
This is a perfect spot to come to for brunch. I love the outdoor sitting area. We went in the summer so the weather was so nice and there was live music as we ate! Everything was simple but made really well. I got the chicken and french toast which was so good. The chicken was fried perfectly and the French toast were fluffy and soft. It paired really well with their spicy dipping sauce! Also got a side of fries and you can never go wrong with that!

Jaqueline S.

Yelp
The staff was super friendly, but honestly, the food was just okay for what you pay and the portion sizes. It felt a lot like IHOP or Denny's, but you're shelling out twice the cash. I think they can get away with it because of their location and all the foot traffic. Overall, not impressed, and I won't be returning or recommending it.

Rebecca N.

Yelp
We were looking for dinner in Annapolis and chose Iron Rooster because of its high ratings. I was a little disappointed. I will preface this by saying our server was really nice - I forgot her name but she was very kind and helpful. We found a hair in one of our entrees and she apologized sincerely although it wasn't her fault. She let her manager know without us asking and removed it from our bill, which was very considerate. Iron Rooster also has a ton of great options, including breakfast all day. There was definitely a lot to choose from, and it seems like a good brunch place. However, I was excited to try the honey glazed pork chops, but the texture was off and it didn't taste very fresh. My family didn't seemed super impressed with any of our entrees, although they sounded good on the menu. I'm not sure if it was just an off day. I think Iron Rooster has potential, but it just missed the mark for me. Maybe I'll try something new next time I'm in Annapolis.

Katherine D.

Yelp
Really good food. I gave 4 stars because instead of having pint size water glasses or refilling our water, we did have to ask for more after we ran out mid meal. It was 96 degrees out so a cocktail glass is insufficient. I was expecting a long wait because there was a line to get seated. They were able to seat us right away though so, if you see a line, don't just go somewhere else. I had an eggs Benedict with a fried green tomato and it did not disappoint.

Jasmine G.

Yelp
One of our go-to brunch spots in Annapolis. Most recently went on Friday for lunch, and there was no wait; however, this time we were seated on the less spacious side of the restaurant - the right side next to the bar. We ordered the Brussels sprouts as an app - a little bland and each bite needed some bacon to add some flavor. For entrees, the classic Benny and fried chicken & pancakes are both solid choices. The home fries were a little mushy. Fried chicken was nice and flavorful.

John L.

Yelp
We had an early morning breakfast here outside on a bright sunny day. It was a decent walk from our hotel and we enjoyed the outdoor seating. Not all of the tables had good shade so arrive early because the tables fill up fast! Our server was a nice guy, but the wait at times was a bit long. I suppose they were understaffed in the kitchen or busy on the inside. The menu has a lot of breakfast options with early morning cocktails if that's your thing. Most of the tables around us looked like they were occupied by co-workers meeting up talking business over a meal or friends meeting up for breakfast and a drink. We were one of several families. I had to try one of their Roos Tarts. My advice would be to split this with someone because they are a meal on their own! The brown sugar I ordered was very sweet, but neat to try. I don't think I would order one again. One of the kids combos came with a mini tart so you may want to snag some off your kids plate! A regular sized was $5.37 and had whipped cream on the side. I had two eggs sunny side up with rye toast and turkey bacon. The potatoes on the side were so so, but the eggs and bacon were delicious. That came in at $14.95 which is a bit steep for a 2 egg breakfast in my opinion. The kids enjoyed some eggs and French Toast with my wife. The portion of French Toast was very big and enough to feed more than one, unless your extremely hungry. The French Toast came in at $14.50 and the kids combo at $11.95. All in all we had a good breakfast, but I guess your paying for the ambiance of being by the water and/or their high rent?

Moriah C.

Yelp
We came on a Sunday morning. It wasn't overly crowded yet, but definitely a lot of people. The service was great from beginning to end. Tamir was our waitress and she was very pleasant, and patient while we decided on what to eat. She came back frequently to check on us and we appreciated that. The food came out fairly quick and was delicious. We started out with the homemade apple poptart. Soooooo good!!! I even recommend as a dessert. But, it is def shareable, especially if you plan on ordering an entree. I can't wait to come back and try the other poptart flavors...like strawberry cheesecake!!??? Next on my list. For entrees we both got the breakfast quesadilla!!! Cooked perfectly and the chipotle aioli was one of the best parts. The menu is extensive, and i cant wait to return.

Yelp
The Only Review You Need To Read In our usual quest to try new places whenever my best friend and I get together, we went down to the waterfront in Annapolis, noticed this restaurant and decided this was the place worthy of our quest for nourishment. We were seated quickly and our order was taken pretty quickly. I was craving Eggs Benedict, but I noticed they had a Crab Cake Benedict on their menu. It looked intriguing so I ordered it - hoping that wasn't too out-of-line to order crab while in Maryland. I have to admit, I was slightly disappointed. What was missing was the salty taste of Canadian bacon to bring out the flavor of the egg, hollandaise sauce and crab cake meat. In the place of ham was a tomato slice which didn't really bring anything special to the meal. You would think with everything contained within, it would be an explosion of flavor, but honestly it all was a little bland. I had to keep adding salt all over it to get any distinct taste. The home fries were fine. My friend was impressed with the marinara sauce that came with his grilled cheese sandwich, with a chocolate milk on the side. And no, my best friend is not seven years old; he's a grown man (don't hate because I still eat peanut butter & jelly sandwiches when I take my lunch to work). We agreed that we would definitely be up to coming here again for another meal because there were several other items on the menu that sounded pretty good. And a shout out to our server Taylor who was super friendly, had an awesome smile and was very attentive with anything we needed.

Elizabeth B.

Yelp
Wanted to love it but it wasn't anything remarkable or unique. My pot pie was not done- the crust on the bottom was gooey. my kiddos meals came out incorrect. I don't know why it's so popular.

Bruce B.

Yelp
We have been coming here since they opened. We stop when we are in town a couple of times a year and they deserve credit for a great job! He food is great and they have a great staff. Try the Rooster Bites with the honey/Old Bay seasoning and you will be happy!

Brittney S.

Yelp
This was my first time at Iron Rooster in years! The food was good, but for some reason, there was a huge disconnect with getting our omelet order right. We ordered the California omelet with turkey bacon and the chicken sandwich. The food took FOREVER to come, and when it finally did, there was crab meat all over the omelet. We don't eat crab and none of the omelets come with crab, so no idea how that happened. A while later, a server brought the plate back, but this time it was a wrap, not an omelet. The 3rd time was the charm! I also got a mimosa, which seemed like mostly orange juice. I'd skip that next time. Despite the mix up, customer service was good. We went able to make a reservation and it was pretty busy, but we were seated right away at a small table for 2.

Edgar S.

Yelp
Service was great, food was awesome as always and the Pop Tarts never gets old, been coming here for the last 8 years and been meeting out of town friends to introduce Iron Rooster!!

Kevin B.

Yelp
What a great place! We came here a few years back when visiting the Naval Academy and it made for a very delicious place to grab lunch. It's a cozy restaurant and our service was very good throughout the meal. We had a burger and coleslaw and a chicken sandwich with a side of fresh fruit and both dishes were flavorful and satisfying. We would definitely come back here and would recommend it for lunch.

Yelp
My wife and I had a quick brunch here recently and it was great. I had the breakfast burrito and it was one of the best I've ever had. My wife had the classic Benedict which she enjoyed. The slices of ham on the Benedict are thick! The coffee was outstanding and service was prompt and courteous.

Yelp
A couple of friends and I went here for lunch and sat outside next to the heaters which kept us nice and toasty. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our waitress went out of her way to move us to a different table with an umbrella when it started to rain. I got the patty melt which was delicious, but I had a couple bites of my friends Honey Salmon and that was a 10/10. Would definitely like to come back to this place again to try out their large breakfast menu!

Yelp
The food here is good but service is hit or miss. First food, the crab dip is amazing! Also got the big brunch bowl and it was really good. However, a few of the servers were very rude & we had a bad experience with the hostess which made the experience off putting. The food is carrying the stars on this review.

Yelp
Went again to one of our older Annapolis brunch locations and unhappy to report service & quality of food has not stayed as past ... we waited over 20 min after seated to get drinks & food that was average - our waiter was lost on service ~ very sad to report and don't think I would return :(
