A few months back you gave us an extensive tour of your distillery, including the barrel warehouse. We loved every moment. I left that day with a deep appreciation for what you're doing at Irons One and a bottle of the fruits of your labor. Once I was home in Virginia I cracked the bottle open and was blown away by the quality of your bourbon. It has such a depth of flavor. It's a very traditional set of flavors, but each layer stands on its own. These flavor layers together offer a very rare treat. I loved every drop. I wish you all the best in the future and look forward to seeing Irons One gain the recognition it deserves.

Jim’s got a real passion for whiskey and a love for the Huntsville community, so the distillery is in great hands. He’s keeping the classics alive — bourbon and bourbon mash whiskey — but also teasing some exciting new creations coming soon ( I have only heard rumors, but I heard they are working with another local company, and it will be out of this world). The vibe at the distillery is still super welcoming and laid-back. Whether you’re doing a tasting, grabbing a bottle, or just soaking in the atmosphere at Lowe Mill, it’s a great time. You’ll leave with a smile and probably a bottle (or two). Bottom line: Irons One is a must-go. Great whiskey, great people, and now a fresh chapter that’s already off to a strong start.

Strong, flavorful cocktails using barrel-aged whiskey. Our favs are the Old Fashioned and Whiskey Smash! Comfortable seating, relaxed space. If you so desire you can pay to get a private tour of the distilling process behind the scenes.

If you want a great bourbon brewed right here in HSV, this is the best I've tasted amongst the local options. Jeff is a great guy and pours the drinks himself at his storefront in Lowe Mill. Make sure to follow his Facebook page, his last batch sold out in less than 8!!! hours.

Absolutely, hands down, the best place to get distilled in house whiskey!!! Prices are extremely good, especially considering the quality of whiskey you get. I've been to several small distilleries all throughout Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, as well as on the west coast, and Irons One definitely stands out as a hidden gem! Quality aside (which is EXCELLENT), the in-house distiller (John) is SUPER NICE & Extremely helpful. He definitely goes the extra mile to answer any and all questions you might have about the distillery process & his recommendation if you want to get a mixed drink while you're there. I also took a tour (which they offer via reservation), and it was also a great & personal experience, unlike more crowded places in Tennesee. Overall, I can't recommend Irons One enough!

It starts with a wonderful, small batch product. It’s some of the best I’ve ever found. Staff was helpful and informative. A wonderful experience. I highly recommend the tour as well.

Brought my folks by on 11/8/2023 since I had visited 4 years ago when I met the owner and had a great experience. Whoever was there mixing up a batch in the back was NOT friendly and offered zero information on their product. Seems we were interrupting him, nonetheless we ask for a sample and after clumsily trying to pour a couple small cups of something? the man walked off. We left the sample fee on the counter and left, we didn't care to purchase any bottle even if you had it. If this is how you are going to treat customers in your own establishment, you are better off closing up shop.

The customer service is great and the location is very cool. I just wished I liked their whiskeys. Not a fan of it, at least they let you try it before you buy it. It is worth a stop.

Absolutely awesome spot! Very good selection of whiskey. love the atmosphere and tour. Will definitely bring more friends. The staff are so awesome they're very laid back and friendly. Thank you for the experience it was awesome.
