Irvine Regional Park is an amazing place to spend the day! The park is clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained, with plenty of shaded areas and scenic spots to relax. The staff are friendly and helpful throughout the park. The entrance fee is absolutely worth it for the facilities and activities available. There are great walking trails, picnic areas, playgrounds, and even fun attractions like the train ride and lake for paddle boats. A perfect place for families, friends, or anyone who wants to enjoy nature and unwind. Highly recommended!

The park is spacious, well-maintained, and perfect for families. There are plenty of shaded picnic areas, clean restrooms, and wide trails for walking or biking. The small zoo and train ride are great for kids, and the overall atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. It’s a wonderful place to spend a few hours outdoors, especially on weekends when you want nature without driving far. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for a calm escape.

What a great way to spend the day. The large park has several playgrounds scattered around. You can rent Surrey bikes, regular bikes, tag along trailers, all rentals include helmets. There are several small lakes to fish in. We rented paddle boats for 30 min which included a life jacket for my granddaughter. The park has miles of trails to explore on foot, bikes or horseback. There is a train ride through the park and ponies for the kids. They can walk or trot around a small track. The park entry fee is $5 and we'll worth the money. There are plenty of picnic areas and groups can reserve various picnic shelters. Jumpers are available to rent by reservation, as well. Big oak trees offer shade throughout the park. If you haven't visited, I highly recommend doing so. Near the train station and pony rides the park hosts different events. Their is an Easter egg hunt in the spring, a pumpkin patch in fall and a Christmas event in December. In January, the park hands out calendars with various coupons for rentals, ice cream, bike rentals and lists all the parks events.

Google
This park is awesome. I used to come here as a kid and it hasn't changed much. The grounds are spotless and they even have the train that takes you around the park. The lake is still stocked with fish and they have paddle boats that you could get on and float around at your leisure. Plenty of room to play baseball plenty of room to have picnics the trees are beautiful and large. The sycamores are over 400 years old. Plenty of grounds to get lost in in hiking trails. Cheers

We had the best time visiting this little $2 zoo with our 2-year-old! It’s the perfect size for young kids — it took us about an hour and a half to see everything without feeling rushed. The animals are easy to see, and there’s a nice variety for such a small zoo. The petting zoo was a huge hit — it’s free and so well kept! My toddler loved being able to get up close with the animals. The entire zoo is stroller-friendly and very accessible for anyone with mobility needs, which made it a stress-free visit. You really can’t beat the price or the experience. Clean, easy to navigate, and so much fun for little ones. We’ll definitely be back!

Google
We love Irvine park. $5.00 per car to enter.Weekends can be busy, so get there before 12!!! They might close the entrance if lots are full. If you want big big shade trees, go to the right after the entrance kiosk. We parked at lot K. The bathrooms are right there. There's a circular pony ride area for little kids, a pond where you can rent a paddle boat, You can rent bikes, surry's tandem bikes, etc. There's even a small zoo! Weather was great today, about 73⁰ 4 October 2025.

Google
We went to the pumpkin patch and had such a great time! There was plenty for the kids to do — rides, pumpkin painting, a haunted house, and lots of fun games. Most activities require tickets (about 2–3 per ride or game), so it can get a little pricey, but it’s worth it for all the fun. The line to get into the park was pretty long, so I recommend gett

Google
This park is nice and has a lot of things to like bike riding, paddle boats, train ride, pony rides and other things to do. There’s plenty of space to walk around with shaded areas abs snack bar areas. They have accessible bathrooms but the washing areas didn’t really work so washing hands was challenging. Overall it’s nice but we did feel the really short train ride was expensive and would’ve been nicer if longer for the price.

Yelp
If you just want to spend $40 and let your kids burn energy, this place over-delivers. If you're expecting Disneyland polish, it's not here. They've got a railroad, a mini-zoo, paddle boats, and pony rides. The duck pond is one of the better photo spots around sunset. Cost breakdown: Train -- $8 Zoo -- $2 Park entry -- $3 Pony ride -- $8 Paddle boats -- ~$22 for 30 minutes (half price early in the day) The staff behave like long-term employees rather than temps. They keep things moving even during busy times, and it's nice to have the kids recognize the same faces on repeat visits. Their Santa Village light display is surprisingly elaborate for a smaller operation. Parking is great but gets crowded at peak hours. The bathrooms are basic but functional--stainless steel toilets, concrete floors.

Yelp
This park is beautiful and provides a perfect day experience for youth, families, and adults! -Parking is only $3 to explore the entire grounds. -Grounds are tended to daily...and the beauty shows. -Well monitored Pony rides -Fun kid games -Riding the Tiny Train' is a must!! --purchase trains apparel for free-ride Wednesdays -A Zoo!!! -A playground!! -Facilities are clean, clean clean with tp replenishment hourly - Added bonus!! 4 person bicycle carts with a scavenger hunt + map included! Looking for a 'family-friendly' something to do? Irvine Regional Park is for you!

Yelp
Irvine Regional Park is one of Orange County's true hidden gems. Whether you're looking for a peaceful morning walk, a family day out, or just a breath of fresh air, this place has it all. The park is massive, clean, and well-maintained. The shaded walking trails are perfect for strollers and little kids, and the scenery is beautiful with rolling hills, tall trees, and even a little creek. There are tons of picnic areas (get there early on weekends!), and the wide-open spaces make it easy to find your own peaceful corner. Our favorite part is the Irvine Park Railroad which is such a fun, nostalgic ride for kids and adults. There's also pony rides, a small zoo, paddle boats, bike rentals, and even a little snack bar. It honestly feels like you've stepped into a classic California weekend. Parking is $3-5 depending on the day, but absolutely worth it for a full day of affordable fun. Highly recommend bringing bikes, snacks, and a blanket. It's the kind of park you can easily spend hours in without realizing where the time went. An OC must-visit!

Yelp
Irvine Regional Park is awesome. Not only is it huge with plenty to do during the regular season, but during the holidays it is extra special. My family went here for the second time this year to the pumpkin patch and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is expansive, accessible, well thought out, and has plenty of activities. From face painting and cookie making to mini-excavators and fishing, kids love it. Highly recommend both the park and pumpkin patch.

Yelp
Spectacular Park!! 10/10 The Irvine Regional Park is so big, that it's like its own city! lol I am not kidding. This park kind of reminded me of Central Park in New York. I wouldn't say it has the same things to offer as Central Park though. They are very different parks in terms of activities and what you can do there. Irvine Regional Park offers lots of open areas, grasslands, plenty of trees, picnic spots and trails for walking your furry friends. Dogs have to be on a leash at all times. Irvine Regional Park has a zoo and pony rides. I saw signs for paddles boats and camping too! Lots of outdoorsy activities that you can do here or just enjoy the beautiful greenery! All of the green, made me think of Ireland. It is just beautiful. This is so much more than just a park. It is a whole vibe and experience. It is worth the trip if you enjoy the outdoors or want to go to connect with nature.

Yelp
Totally disappointed. I booked a ticket online for a vacation with my family but they charge extra 5 dollars. We planned it for so long so we had no choice but to purchase. Once we got there it was totally crowded and everything was expensive.

Yelp
Always a good time here! So much to do and explore .. bike riding , it riding, Zoo, hiking , horseback riding .. so much

Yelp
Love this park! I like to being a pile of meat and use their grills to meal prep for the week. It's such a cool environment - and so big that you aren't running into people (unless on the weekends, and some summer nights...). Great place to walk and explore, and see some wildlife. Saw a few owls the other night, which was pretty cool. Such a great place to hang out, and get away from the hustle and bustle.

Yelp
Hit the zoo, train ride, nature center and walked around. 3 dollars to park, zoo only 2 dollars, train ride 8. Very inexpensive way to spend the day. I do not recommend the bread they are selling. Paid 6 dollars for old town bakery loaf of cinnamon pull apart. Very dry, think it was old. Otherwise perfect dqy.

Yelp
First off, stay away on holidays unless you kike waiting in lines, And i mean just the line to get into the park. There is a single entrance, and the holiday lines get out of control. Beyond that, there are several different experiences to the park, and you cna mix and match. There is hiking and biking, including some solid trails accessible just outside the park down to easy gravel roads you can take young kids on who are just learning how to ride. Most of the trails have minimal overhead coverage, so be aware it can get hot and dry. Then you have the huge grass areas with picnic facilities. Families use the grills or bring their own cater companies to make tacos, play games... On any given day you get lots of diverse celebrations, gatherings, and get togethers. Then you have the established activities. A train, a small zoo, bike rentals, paddle boat rentals... Pick your own adventure. Around the bid holidays, there are themed things to do. Finally, you get nature. There are plenty of bird watchers, but peacocks are all over the place, so in season, they put on displays all over the place. Raptors are easy to spot, and other birds are common,

Yelp
This is always an awesome place to go. I went here for a baby sprinkle and didn't even know they offer spots to have parties. But what a cool idea. The space is cute and private and they even got us tokens to ride the train. I am always wanting to go on any train for sure. It was super cute. This place has so much to see, so many parties going on. We even stopped by the zoo which was walking distance. I would definitely want to come back during the holidays, they always decorate it so nicely.

Yelp
I recently came here for a work event and had such a great time that I brought my sister who was visiting the same weekend. We reserved the group area with many tables and covering. It was a nice space and not too far from the main entrance, which made it really easy for our attendees to find the group area. On Father's Day morning, I took my sister here and we enjoyed a walk around the picnic area and main attractions area. The grounds are well maintained, and the staff and Park Rangers are super friendly. The bathrooms were decent and clean as can be for a park. We enjoyed our meandering stroll around the main picnic areas. We were pretty excited to have a close encounter with a peacock. It was a beautiful day and we will return soon.

Yelp
An absolutely beautiful Oasis of a park in Orange County, with plenty of parking, activities, and seating areas for a picnic or birthday party. It's clean, well maintained, and has plenty of shady spots. It was perfect for us to get out of the urban area and just take in the peace, fresh air, and enjoy the sights. There's a concession stand with a wide variety of food items, the Irvine Railroad for kids, and the OC Zoo. This will definitely become a staple park in our rotation.
google avatar

Yelp
I like taking my kids here. Lots of areas for family and friends to gather around. BBQ areas Bike trails Bike rentals Botanial area for small kids located at the front of the park Picnic area for BBQ or parties. You have to come early as there's no reservations Small fishing area (but you need a CA fishing license) Horse trails and horse back riding If you want to be adventuroud, you can try and rent their paddleboat. Let me tell you it is a fun experience but you definitely get tired really quick. My favorit is their train rides, especially during the holidays. They have a grea Halloween event as well as nice decor for Thanksgiving. Best is their Christmas holiday train. So festive and decorated. Love riding the train with the kiddos. There even is a small OC zoo located here. Note: parking is $3 per vehicle during weekdays and $5 now during weekends.

Ceci W.

Yelp
What a beautiful park! So many rides and things to do with the kids. There were lines for the train but not bad. Definitely not to go on the weekend I bet it's super crowded. We will be returning on a weekday, we missed the zoo. Don't forget to bring cash!
google avatar

Travis P.

Yelp
This is a HUGE park with quite a bit of things to do. Entrance fee per car is $5 which isn't too bad especially since this park seems to pretty well maintained. A few things that I enjoyed doing here are these. The Railway - You can ride a train for $7 per person and it's pretty fun. Very relaxing ride. Rent a Pedal Water Bike - This is way cooler than a normal pedal boat. It's a whole bike and you have much more control/can go much faster if you pedal fast. We had a $5 discount coupon that was given when we paid for parking. $22 per 30 minutes. You only need to ride for 30 minutes to feel satisfied. OC Zoo - Definitely check this out. It's $2 for a small zoo but you get to see so many cool animals as well as feed/pet them. Worth it. I would be back to check out the trails next time as well as renting some of the other wheel'd vehicles. Plenty of parking everywhere and tons of spots to host parties/bbq's.
google avatar

Marshawn H.

Yelp
I used to go here as a lil kid, and I visited again recently. They have a zoo here that's really cool with some neat lookin' animals. Though, the mountain lion was giving me the freaky eye. If you have kids, take them to the zoo, but avoid the mountain lion

Yelp
I love this park! It's safe, clean, and beautiful -- with so much to do: BBQs, hiking, playgrounds, bird watching, the zoo, bike rentals, a nature center, and even pony rides! This morning, Park Ranger Kvaska was an absolute hero! He rescued a baby bat that had gotten tangled in fishing wire at the lake -- even waded into the water with a pole to save it. Truly above and beyond. Grateful for rangers who care so much about the park and its wildlife!

Yelp
I went there for the first time driving from LA COUNTY for a day of fun and it was great experience. Parking was easy and the staff was friendly and helpful. The train conductor took us for the tour around the park. Snack bar has some nice selection but limited healthy, no drink refills and 16oz bottle water is $4.00. We went to see the statue of the man the city is named after near the cool Natire building It has a bike, and boat rentals. 1/2 price if before 12noon which is a good deal. Pony rides. Near there is OC Zoo which is separate review which I'll give soon. There are nice and plenty of picnic tables, playgrounds and ducks to see. Hope to go there again.

Yelp
It's that time of year again--pumpkin patch season! We've been visiting this patch for the past three years since our baby was born. The patch is a wonderful place to stroll and capture some cute festive photos during September and October. While the setup is similar each year, our experience feels fresh and new as our toddler grows. This has become a cherished family tradition, and we look forward to coming here for many years to come. Tip: If you can, try to visit on a weekday! Weekends during the holiday season get crowded, and you might end up in overflow parking.
google avatar

Yelp
How can you not like a park that sits on top of a hill where you can spend an entire day or weekend (if you camp) exploring the wilderness and trails. It's great for kids, family, self care and just incase you want to take a few hours of your day enjoying the open air. There's a lot of parking here, and the entry for the park is $3 a vehicle on weekdays and $5 on weekends. Things you can do here: Railroad tour Lake paddling rides Bicycle trials Horse stable Hiking/walk trails OC Zoo (entry $2 per person) Picnic Fields for soccer, baseball etc Bbq grills And many more... I have no problem paying for the entry and zoo as a beautiful place like this would need money and funds to keep it maintained. Just make sure you pick up or throw your trash away. I'm amazed how some people still don't have the common audacity for that. They also do events for Xmas, Easter and other holidays so I would check that out on their website. Either way a great place to enjoy nature in the OC.
google avatar

Javi M.

Yelp
This a awesome place to come with friends for bbq, party, hiking, horse rides, bike rides and more
google avatar

Yelp
I love this park. Come here all the time. But I was most surprised at how much fall foliage there is all over the park. Definitely a great spot to visit during Autumn.

Yelp
Irvine Regional Park - A Disappointing Christmas Event Experience I've been visiting Irvine Regional Park for decades, and while the park itself remains a solid spot for locals, my recent experience with their Christmas event was underwhelming. The Parking Situation First, let's talk about the entrance and parking staff. Recently, their approach has been frustratingly unprofessional. My family member worked at the Christmas Train event and was issued flimsy parking passes--one per worker. These passes were prone to getting damaged or lost, and when issues arose, staff seemed more interested in hassling workers than problem-solving. Many of the employees working the event were teenagers or young adults likely carpooling, making the lack of flexibility even more frustrating. This isn't an isolated issue--poor systems like this happen in many places--but it's time for management to step up and implement a more functional, professional process. The Park Itself Irvine Regional Park remains a nice space overall. It's well-maintained for the most part, though debris can occasionally pile up in certain areas. The park features vintage water fountains, some nice trees, and decent views if you venture toward the canyon edges. However, within the park itself, there's nothing particularly awe-inspiring. The little town where they host events, like the Christmas Train, feels geared toward affluent patrons who can afford private rentals--a stark reminder of Orange County's capitalist and exclusionary vibe. The Christmas Event Now onto the event itself. The Christmas Train experience was, in a word, disappointing. The employees working the event seemed bored, which reflected poorly on the overall atmosphere. There were rumors of a holiday bonus for staff, which was nice to hear, but something about the management felt off. It lacked energy, direction, and fun. The activities were mediocre at best. While the lights were fine, they didn't compare to other Southern California displays. The event seemed like a "turn-and-burn" operation--big on marketing but underwhelming in execution. For example, they offered basic wooden crafts for tickets that cost upwards of $100. The value simply wasn't there. Many families I spoke to felt they had been misled by the event's promotion and pricing. For the cost of this event, you could nearly visit Disneyland, which offers a far superior experience. It's disappointing to see such a high price tag for an event that felt so poorly organized and lackluster. Final Thoughts Irvine Regional Park has potential, but the Christmas event highlighted some major shortcomings in planning, execution, and customer experience. The park itself is worth a visit for general outdoor activities, but I would not recommend attending this particular event in its current state. To the organizers: There's so much room for improvement here. This could be a standout family destination with better management, thoughtful employee engagement, and a focus on creating real value for guests. Stop relying on the façade of "Orange County prestige" and start delivering an experience that matches the price and expectations. Rating for the Christmas Event: 3/10

Yelp
Nice place to take the kids for a day plan, They have activities for all type of budgets; they have a particular horse riding for little kids, they also have a little zoo, green lots of green areas, a little lake to walk around. They are all ages welcome and depending in the time of the year they have seasonal activities.
google avatar

Kelbet O.

Yelp
A wonderful park where you can ride a train and a pony. Kids can also visit the zoo. There's also a petting zoo where you can touch and see animals. The park has picnic areas, and there are plenty of interesting activities to enjoy on weekends and beyond. It's a great place to spend time with family.

Yelp
Love this park! Plus there's the scout camp here! :) Great facilities, clean restrooms, a zoo, and treeeeees! What else can you ask for? :)

Yelp
The employee in bike and boat rental are dumb. There is a 50% off program for rental, but they refuse to give it to us because we didnt get the paper/code at the entrance of parking. The parking employee didnt give it to us. It just a code that bike employee have at their desk, they could just scan it, but they refuse to. The boss who hiring these people need to step up, hire someone with common sense. Its a program to increase revenue through discount, so why being so anal about it.

Yelp
Easter weekend could have been better!! Got in line around 5 am Sunday morning and got into the park but they closed down the line around 8 am. Even when cars would leave they kept it closed until around 7pm. So many sheriffs, cops on horses, was a bit excessive. There was a line all day for the women's restroom and soon enough they ran out of toilet paper that they didn't refill until closing time. If you parked in the street you got a $65 ticket and they offered extra parking at the college for $15!! If you purchased the $15 ticket they let you in to come pick up your stuff from the park but if you had the $7 one and wanted to re-enter after helping your family get to their cars at the college they charged you another entrance fee. For a very overpopulated park they were very money hungry. $15 to park at the college they should have had a shuttle ride with it!!

Yelp
Been here many times during the year. We've been here on a random day, during October for the pumpkin patch and during XMas time for their Santa's Village. This place has everything for kids to have fun from train rides, zoo, bike rentals, etc. Admission is per car and its cheap but the activities are separate but also very affordable. I wish it was closer to us.
google avatar

Tiffany B.

Yelp
It's pumpkin patch season! Visit here if you want to get your Fall fix in. This place has all of the holiday festivities you need all year round. They transform it into. wonderland for the holidays as well. It's such a special place for my family. There's so much to do---you can spend the whole day here and enjoy being outside. There's the zoo, nature center, kids area with train ride, horse and pony rides, rentals for all types of bikes and water stuff, many playgrounds, paths for walks-- I mean the options are endless! Lots of trees for shade. Pack some food and have a picnic!
google avatar

Yelp
One of my favorite trails at Irvine park is the Puma Ridge Trail. A single track trail that parallels with Loop Equestrian. A 4 mile long trail easy enough but challenging enough for a fun hiking adventure. This trail provides beautiful views for those wanting to take nature photographs. Please stay alert for rattlesnakes as the vegetation can be dense.

Yelp
Good, solid massage EVERY time! Don't hope, expect a quality massage at ONE BY ONE FOOT MASSAGE.

Yelp
First time here. Lovely large park that includes the OC Zoo, the Irvine Railroad, Pony Rides, Tricycle Paddle Boats, an Amphitheater and various places you can rent/reserve for special events. Open 6AM to 6PM. Parking $5 regular vehicles. It was a fun day. Ok, bye.

Yelp
This review is for the farmers market experience only!!! Ten years I have been coming to this farmers market and because of changes made by the rangers I never want to come back again. They have now set up only one entrance and one exit. There was a HUGE line to enter the farmers market parking lot. took 15 minutes just to park. Cones everywhere completely screwing up the flow of traffic. Why did they have to change things?!?!? If you don't want people parking there than freaking change the lot where the farmers market is!!!!! Also the rangers are the ones who decided to change things not the vendors!! Every vendor I talked to hates the change, the vendors are saying the customers hate the change, so why did the Rangers of the park decide to do this after who knows how many years?!? The only thing I can think of is that maybe the Rangers are federally funded and because of Trump gutting the national parks budget, Irvine Park Rangers are trying to save jobs and show how much they are needed on a daily basis.?? This is how my brain is working because I cannot fathom another reason of why the Rangers would decide to do this when NONE of the vendors or customers asked them to. It was the most stressful and annoying experience I have had a farmers market which is really saying something. Who gets stressed going to a farmers market?!? The Rangers need to get their heads out of their asses and go back to the way it was!

Yelp
The hiking trails at Irvine Regional park are a nice workout. I loved seeing fall in nature! There's so much to do at this park. Check out their website for more information!

Yelp
Always enjoy Irvine Regional Park BUT this visit there was NO parking except on the far outskirts of the park... so we were told by the very RUDE park ranger! We asked for a possible refund because we drove around trying to find a spot so we could visit the zoo. The RUDE Park Ranger told us that there were spaces just not near our event, "and NO You are not getting a refund!" as they had a long line of cars waiting to pay and enter the park. No signs or mention that there is limited or no parking! Do better Irvine Park...don't just take our money and tell us to bad if you can't find a space!

Yelp
Haiku: Irvine Regional Park Zoo and train inside A fun place for families Parking costs money. --- Quite an attraction! Irvine Regional Park, a 160-acre park nestled at the rolling foothills of Irvine, is home to the OC Zoo, Irvine Park Railroad, hiking trails, pony rides, paddle boat rentals, bike rentals, playgrounds, and more. My family and I've come multiple times to see the animals at the zoo, ride the surrey bikes, and play at the playgrounds. You for sure have to ride the train when you come! It's always a crowd pleaser among the kids. There are special event attractions during special holidays. Easter (April) has Easter egg hunts, hay rides, carnival games, face painting. Pumpkin Patch (September/October) has hay rides, moon bounce, face painting, carnival games, panning for gold, carnival games, pumpkin decorating. Money-saving tip: https://www.irvineparkrailroad.com/coupons/ Sign-up for their free e-newsletter and receive a set of coupons within minutes. Coupons are offers for BOGO train rides, BOGO OC Zoo, bike and paddle boat rental discounts, and more.

Yelp
A lovely hidden gem. So many trails for horses and hiking and sports and relaxing I have a scout and have been repeated, for as crazy and crowded Orange County is, this park is a breath of fresh air.

Yelp
Fall is my favorite time of year and what way to commemorate this season than to pay a visit to Irvine Regional Park for their annual pumpkin patch. I absolutely love how many pumpkins they flood this park with, there is an abundance of them everywhere you look. This is a great place to take lovely fall pics with loved ones as there are so many wonderful photo ops available. Also, there are plenty of fun activities for kids to enjoy. The entrance into the pumpkin patch event is free however, there is a $5 parking fee to enter the park. Parking can be difficult during peak times but there are a good amount of parking lots throughout the park. The park is huge covering 160 acres. I appreciate that despite being a large size, it is well maintained and clean.

Yelp
Best park ever. Many playgrounds and Picnic areas. Tons of big, tall, old shady trees. There are snack stands and a zoo, along with the Irvine Park Railway.

Yelp
On a quiet and empty day, Irvine Regional Park is one of my favorite parks in Orange County. There are plenty of spots to walk and/or sit. On a busy day, it's an absolute nightmare. You can't park anywhere or find a seat without being close to numerous people. For my last visit, I went on a weekday. It was peaceful with little to no crowds. Since I haven't been to the zoo at this park for over 8 years, I decided to stop in. The zoo has come a long way. I appreciate that they take in animals with special needs as opposed to confining wild animals in cages. The price to enter is $2 and you can be in and out within 25-30 minutes. It's nothing spectacular, but it's nice to see. As for the bikes, they are a fun activity. However, I felt like the rental prices were pretty steep. To go on a 40 minute double seater bike ride, it was $40. It's fun, but not worth $40. We got lucky with having no cars on the streets while we were biking, but if you go on a busy day, it will be difficult to steer and enjoy the ride.

Yelp
I can't believe we lived here for FIVE years and never drove down Jamboree to this hidden gem. I showed up and go figure there was a fall festival going on. I couldn't be more happy! I went on a hay ride through the park, you can walk around the area where they have plenty activities for the families like decorating pumpkins, a train ride, snacks, food and games and soooo much more. I took a nice walk around the park the back way and went to the OC Zoo that's actually in the park. So easily accessible. There's walking trails everywhere and even horseback riding! Peacocks walking around! When leaving I just so happened to actually catch a farmers market that happens on Tuesdays! I was so excited for everything. I can't wait to come back with my husband!

Yelp
Great place all year round but my favorite time is during the pumpkin patch. They transform this place into the most beautiful pumpkin patch. Lots of pumpkins all around you when you walk, lots of activities for kids, train ride and more. There is also a small lake , paddle boats , zoo ... So much to do in one place ... weekends are crazy busy during the pumpkin patch season. Long lines to get into the parking lot. Could take hours. I highly recommend weekday visits. You will enjoy more , less crowds and no lines. The park is very big with areas for family picnics, walking trails, horse stables ...etc Overall a great park to visit

Yelp
Amazing park with so many amenities and very fair prices. The zoo, train and pony rides are excellent. The concession stand offered fresh food at fair prices!
