Google
This must be the cheapest farmer's market in the Bay Area. I see the same vendors at other markets and they charge more for the same thing at the other markets. Unfortunately no meat vendors though there is one fishmonger. Good selection of Asian veg. A few prepared food vendors.

Google
I have been visiting farmers market held on Sunday. Great selection of fresh veggies with lots of organic options and seasonal fruits sold by farmers around the bay. Love the variety of greens sold ... Mushrooms, avocado, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, tomatoes, spinach, colored green , green beans, broccoli, Brussels Local honey , flowers , plants , food trucks, bread .... Parking does get full but their is plenty of parking across street. Opens around 8.00 am - 2.00 pm

Google
Amazing experience with large varieties of produce as well as fruit. Mouth watering bakery items also found handicrafted natural body and bath products ❤️

Google
Great selection of all kinds of local produce at good price. You'll love it! For first timers walk around and check all stalls before you make purchase.

Google
It's just great. The place opens at 9. You can find amazing fruits and vegetables, as well as beef and fresh fish. And the Beckmann's bakery, of course, which is a huge draw. There is plenty of parking in adjacent lots, especially early. Many vendors take card, but cash seems the most effective payment method.

Google
Love visiting this farmer market . Get lots of fresh farmed vegetables and fruits. Love the live music every time we visit . Big parking lot next to Indian grocery store. It’s always busy.

Lovely place for a stroll after coffee. I grabbed some peppers and cucumbers. 😌

Yelp
Fresh fruit season already started, but we finally got a chance to get back to this Farmer's Market. Fresh Peaches and nectarines (white & yellow). We picked up some cherry plums as well.

Yelp
Small and nice farmers market. I come here to get my sugarcane juice fix from Sweetcanes. I also get the nut butter and hummus guy. There's also some good cheesecake vendor and other food vendors. Plenty of fruits and vegetables vendors to choose from. They sell balut (fertilized duck egg) here as well. Today seem less vendors than usual. There is a vendor that sells beef bacon and it's so good but he wasn't here today.

Yelp
Asian veggies are so good. The market feels and smells amazing with all the produce. There's definitely a lot of non-produce businesses that want to talk to you about expensive stuff. I get sucked into pricy and carb heavy bakery goods. There are food trucks that will cook stuff for you. I am usually in too much of a hurry. They don't always have music at the market. I really loved the Chinese flute player. The cheesecake, olive, fish, bread and bao booths are tasty, but those are all expensive and quite tasty things. The produce is where I need to be. I love the variety!

Yelp
I go between a couple of Sunday farmers markets. I like coming to the Irvington market for a couple of specific things...plants, baked goods and organic strawberries. It would be great if there were more organically produce and a specialty coffee booth. But, I am grateful for what they offer.

Yelp
DATE: 08/28/2022 Back in my hometown, it is super hard to find really fresh Moringa leaves and vegetable and Jute leaves and other fresh vegetables. I was really craving these vegetables since I miss my grandma's cooking so I searched up on Yelp and Google for the nearest farmer's market and it lead me to this location. Since my hometown farmer's market always disappointed me as well as other farmer's markets, I was quite surprised by my experience here. I did not expected to find the freshest vegetables ever! Especially rare vegetables like Jute Leaves and Moringa. They are only open from 9AM-2PM and I arrived around 11AM and by then, I expected them to be running low on produce, but they weren't! Everything was also really cheap and way better than vegetables in the supermarket. The Jute Leaves came in a large bundle and was only $3! Moringa vegetable was $7/pound, which I think is pretty average. I only saw one stall selling Moringa leaves and I may have bought the last one only for $8 for a large bundle! I was really satisfied with my purchases and since I bought a lot, I now have no idea how to finish all of them, but it's okay, I now know a place where I can buy these rare produce to bring to my grandma.

Yelp
It's a small farmers market with limited parking. Plus there's an unpleasant sewer smell on Bay St. Other than the smell, some unique vendors sold Balut (chicken fetus egg), cheesecake, dumplings, Asian produce, and a French bakery. You also have a chance to sample a few seasonal fruits from the fruit vendors. Be warned, there may be flies flying across all vendors, including the baked goods, so it's best to heat it before consuming. Also, there's that one Mexican vendor that kept asking me to pay a certain bill because they don't want to give lots of change. If you don't live near Irvington, I'm sorry you must park farther on the street or near Apna Bazaar. If you live around the neighborhood it's a good walk to complete your 10K steps. The best part is it's close to a coffee shop where I can relax and chill after shopping for produce.

Yelp
I love this market, delicious fruits and veggies. I had an Indian wrap that was pretty good and the mini cheesecakes were the bomb, especially the Ube flavor.

Yelp
Fresh ingredients and fresh food. It's small but nice. They even have local bee pollen! Perfect way to spend a weekend morning.

Yelp
This is a quaint little farmers market that is almost always packed to the brim. It shares a parking lot with several other businesses in the plaza, so parking can be very tough to find. The prices are reasonable and there are several vendors that sell fruits and veggies. There is also live music playing each Sunday. I enjoy coming here and would consider coming here more often if parking wasn't so hectic each time.

Yelp
We didn't realize farmers markets were still open and came back to Irvington for a the first time in a long time. We love this one because there are a lot of Asian vegetables to choose from like Bok Choy, Yu Choy, Ginger, etc... We went looking for Gai Lan today but don't think it was in season. Since Covid almost all stalls are roped off and you are not allowed to touch anything. Just tell them what you want and they help pick it for you and bag it. You park at the parking lot next to it and walk right in, its so close. Just google "mi pueblo" if you've never been here and when you get to that plaza with this restaurant just park here. We used to go to the Campbell and Sunnyvale ones when we lived in San Jose and parking was always crazy so it's much appreciated here. Today the stuff that stood out was: -Corn Stall, the stall that sells only corn. White, yellow, and yellow/white hybrid. It was 75 cents each and cheaper the more you get. The corn is so good and will make normal supermarket corn taste like crap. Try it out! -Honey Stall, We started going for raw-honey a couple years ago because the store bought ones always seemed to freeze solid. The owner was very informative and helped us choose from the different batches she had on the table. -Flowers Stall, a little off the main walkway, very informative information on the flowers we bought and how to take care of them by using a little bleach and sugar w/ the water and how to properly trim dahlia stems.

Yelp
I love this market and the fact that it's open Sunday. Often we miss our Hayward Saturday Farmers Market so is good to have this option. The bakers and proximity to home at the Hayward market is the draw but this Fremont option is bigger and they have a fish and Somoma meat market so it's kind of a toss up anyway.

Yelp
Great farmers market at corner or Bay Street in Irvington. Sunday Regular hours 10-2pm during shelter in Place. Actually my 1st time here. Took a nice walk with my daughter, left my dog at home though. Masks are required and they will assist you with your selections. No tasting or touching at the moment. Seemed to be less stands during these times. Wanted pastries but only saw one bakery stand at end and not as much selection. Got here about 1230 pm. Saw a honey stand, meat stand selling ribs, 1 fish stand at the end, 1 kettle corn stand, quite a few fruit and vegetable stands depending on what your looking for. Overall, employees welcoming your purchases. Bags given for your purchases. Pls bring your own cart or clean reusable bag for carrying home. Will visit again if I'm close by.

Yelp
A lot of local vendors with delicious fruits, vegetables, and other goods like meat, bread, and flowers. The sugarcane juice stand was the highlight of our farmers market experience. My wife enjoyed her drink! We're definitely coming back again.

Yelp
Great local farmers market that has a good selection of great vegetables and fruit. Parking is always easy and most booths are open earlier than the listed times. Catering to the area there are a lot of Indian and Asia specific like bitter hoard, okra, yu choy, bok choy, etc...the corn and strawberry when in season taste much better than anything you can get at the grocery store. Right now peaches are in season and the white ones I got were really good! Parking is easy, never had a problem finding it. Every Sunday 9-2pm. You can come at 8:30 and most places will be open .

Yelp
Decided to check this farmers market out a couple weeks ago. This farmers market is open on Sunday's 9am to 2pm. There are many vegetable and fruit vendors. I noticed that this farmers market had lots of Asian vegetables. The boyfriend and I decided to just browse around to see what this farmer's market has to offer. I was on the hunt for some okra and green beans. I didn't spot them though. I did see bok choy, ginger and squash.
google avatar

Shamim R.

Yelp
Hands down best market for fresh veggies and fruit. I've been going to this market for years. They have all the Asian vegetables and more. The vendors are all really nice and helpful. They are practicing social distancing. There are some vendors that pick the vegetables for you and hand it to you to pay. They have a honey lady. The momo food truck. Pop corn guy. Mexican corn vendor. Bread vendor. Hummus vendor. Fish vendor. Meat vendor. There's a few more too. It is a big market, so come with a little time and bring cash. Hopefully this helps.

Yelp
Been coming to this Farmer's Market for years in years.. and the one thing that has always stayed consistence was the small town feel. Although Fremont has grown to such a huge city with a ton of new residents every year, this market never became that over sized farmers market that needed to relocate to accommodate new venders. They have always kept it the same size in the same location. For that, we keep coming back because we've also made friends with a lot of the vendors, vendors' extended family and etc. Just to name a few farm FRESH items available every Sunday, here ya go: *Farm Fresh Organic/Pasteurized Eggs, from the egg lady - Arme, she's super cool. Tell her I sent you, and ask for the Yelp Elite discount! She'll first laugh, then hook you up! *Fresh Organic Honey- stop by Jamie's stall. She has cute honey sticks that make great snacks for kids. *Citrus Fruits: oranges, lemons, etc! *Bread *Veggies, galore! -They have all Asian leafy greens and all different kinds of salad mixes! Bring the family, brings the friends- this is such a cute kick it spot on Sundays, rain or shine. 9am-2pm!!

Yelp
Irvington Farmers Market is located in the Irvington district of Fremont. I had not been to this Farmers Market, but I have heard many positive remarks about it. With a pause in the rain, I had my chance to check it out. It was bigger than I expected -- a stretch of Bay Street was closed off, and there were many stands/tables of Fresh / Organic Produce, Meat, and Food. With the sun out, it was nice to walk around and see what was for sale. I'll definitely be back, and I'll have to try the Prepared Food stands.

Loretta S.

Yelp
We highly recommend getting out and going to the Irvington Farmers Market. Enjoy! Thx for reading

Yelp
I have been coming here since I have been a little one. Not a lot has changed in the past 15 or so years, but I do love that there are a lot of different vendors that come out. I love that you can get fresh fruit and vegetables, with flowers and they also have a lot of food vendors that you can snack on for lunch. I'm a little sad that the kettle popcorn place isn't here all the time anymore. That popcorn was absolutely the best I have ever had. Parking is a little hard to find, but I always recommend finding parking near the Apna Bazaar.

Yelp
Good farmers market, lots of fruits and veggies but not a whole lot of organic produce
google avatar

Victor G.

Yelp
Irvington Farmers' Market was a mixed adventure. didn't find many food vendors, just Berman's? bread. Hummus Guy, Charlie Corn & a Popcorn vendor. no momo or bbq pit. parking was unbelievable. a spot just in front of the market, on Trimboli way. dozens of veggie vendors, mostly asians?, shoppers asians too, with kids. Irvington is looking like Newark Farmers Market. not judging, just saying. good eating spots nearby: taco truck around corner at car wash on Irvington? cool coffee space on bay. various ethnic eateries nearby. gourmet Donutz too.
google avatar

Vicky C.

Yelp
Lots of great vendors selling fresh fruits and vegetables. There is also a bread vendor, seafood vendor, and kettle corn vendor. Bun bao also has a stand here. Some vendors do accept credit card.
google avatar

Michael W.

Yelp
Short Story: A great farmer's market to go on Sunday's! Long Story: This is an excellent farmer's market for fruits and vegetables. I've gotten bok choy, winter melon, spinach, broccoli, green beans, carrots, lemon grass, and much more. The prices are way cheaper than regular grocery stores. There are also several organic vendors and these prices are very cheap compared to Whole Foods. Lots of these places are cash only so be prepared! Verdict: I'm going baxk next Sunday.

Yelp
This has to be one of my favorite my favorites in the East Bay. They have a great selection and it's nicely spread out. Tons of parking which is great.

Yelp
Was great , fruit was really good not expensive at all, took 40 bucks to b on safe side only spent like 15 on a good amount of fruit for a couple days also got some trail mix, corn from stand , everything was great , ima go there more

Yelp
I went to the Irvington Farmer's Market on the third Sunday in August. I was worried about how it would look due to COVID and the wildfires. I was pleasantly surprised. There was an large and eclectic group of vendors selling all sorts of fruits, vegetables and other assorted food products. There was also a momo food truck there. The prices and quality seem to be hit or miss, but it was an overall good experience. I will likely return.
google avatar

Surge C.

Yelp
This is my go-to farmers' market in the area. The vendors are incredibly friendly and offer generous samples. Compared to the Newark market, you definitely get more bang for your buck here. Most fruits are about $1.5/lb. It is definitely a great place to spend your Sunday morning. *Parking is easier to find around 11AM
google avatar

Michelle A.

Yelp
I appreciate the produce but a lot of the venders are hit and miss here. The kettle pop station is up but then does not always have their caramel supplies. The corn guy is never there for elotes. The venders park on the sidewalk so people with ADA have a hard time to get to the street area. I have started to go to the Newark Farmers Market and have not been disappointed.
google avatar

Manny G.

Yelp
Nice farmers market. Great variety of fruits and veggies with a few food stalls. All vendors are super friendly and willing to help pick out that perfect product.
google avatar

Anthony M.

Yelp
Great place for a pass-time and to destress. More than enough posts to buy from in a secure and safe location. Recently bought fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as milk. This farmer's market is ideal to buy organic and naturally grow produce. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
google avatar

Diane A.

Yelp
As someone who gets excited about vegetables this place is a haven for seasonal veggies and fruit. This farmers markets trumps many of the ones where I currently am (Long Beach) and offer competitive prices to Asian or Hispanic markets. Fresh herbs are a must when visiting the Fremont market because they're always fresh. Plus, they have live music and things for kids too. I just wish they still had the fresh tofu or sausage vendors.

William M.

Yelp
Good vendors. Location has issues. End of Bay Street nauseating smell from market at south end. Ruins the while experience. bad smell noticed by vendors and customers alike Farmers Market to prevent Nausea
google avatar

Ashley N.

Yelp
Reasonable prices, tons of options, clean and organized. The salt and pepper pistachios from the guy on the corner are 12/10, so mush fresh fruit and veggies everywhere & A+++ customer service from all the stands.

M G.

Yelp
Lots of options for fresh produce. Good selection of fruits and veggies. They also have some options for buying honey, nuts, plants, hummus, eggs and fish.
google avatar

Sudha D.

Yelp
I've been going to the farmers market for over 12 years now. The produce is freshly picked and tastes delicious. My relatives often ask me to bring the fruits to them because of how great they taste. All the vendors are extremely kind and offer great prices.
google avatar

Yelp
I am a fan. This has become one of the destinations I drag people visiting me from India and everyone loved this place to date. The best thing about this farmers market is that it is not pretentious. The groceries are decently priced the selection of vegetables is more diverse. Take a couple of bags and take a stroll on a Sunday morning... you will have great week.
google avatar

Philip C.

Yelp
Boring. Lots of veggies and fruits and that's pretty much it. Very little hot food, bread or anything else. People come here with roller baskets so it appears this place is good for your weekly groceries. I went to the Sunnyvale farmers market and it was far more lively. Here everyone is heads down picking the best leafies.
google avatar

Jay T.

Yelp
The best farmers market around. You will find all types of seasonal fruits and fresh produce. Rate might be higher than many shops around, but you will get fresh and quality fruits and veggies. There's always a stall for selling eggs, fish, honey etc. You may often find the bakery and fast food counters as well. Some of the farmers sell many Indian vegetables as well. Some of the farmers are driving all the way from Fresno to sell here. They come with some of the best fruits and veggies. A visit to this place is part of my Sunday routine for, may be 4-5 years. This place never disappoint you, even during winter season. Parking is extremely tricky, wait time to find one close by is very very high. If you are ready to park in Trimboli or Irvington Ave and walk, that might be your best option. Try to go there around closing time so that you may find some good deals. Just a tip.
google avatar

Bob K.

Yelp
This is our second visit to a local farmer's market, and we're pretty pleased. They certainly give lie to the "Amish" farmer's markets near our old home in Delaware. These markets have actual farmers. 95% of the stands are for produce, and you won't find any silly bandz or junky stuff. The other 5% are food vendors with fresh baked stuff, dumplings, or flowers and plants. The variety was impressive, with some items I've never seen before, lots of peppers and fruits, and quite a bit labeled as organic. Go hungry, and you'll be well fed with samples of fruit and goodies like tandoor chicken. I'm not much of a produce shopper, so I can't speak to the prices. A couple of items conspicuous for their absence were avocados and lemons, so we'll have to pick those up elsewhere for our weekly allotment.
google avatar

Irene L.

Yelp
No worry about parking here. There is a free public parking lot here. Street parking is also free. Mostly cash only. The vegetables are cheap. The organic food and some cookies are pricey. We bought a bag of oatmeal cookies. No sign of the price. I thought it would be around $3, but it is $7. It was too awkward to put it back, so we paid for it. The strawberries are sweet and juicy. Must buy.
google avatar

Usha K.

Yelp
The parking is challenging when Sunday farmers market is held. Though now this is on waking distance from my place and now I have started to go there frequently. Those sweet cara cara has lured me. A wide selections of green leafy Vegetables are found as well as other veggies. They will also have seasonal fruits, stall for flowers, dry fruits, stalls for shaved ice, foods. (Don't forget to try Nepali Momo and check in yelp to get one free momo ). The prices have gone up little bit but can't bLame when everything else's prices getting sky high and still it's okay when compared to driving across the town to get these Asian green leafy veggies. It's a win win situation where we get fresh organic/ non organic items while supporting our local farmers.
google avatar

Nancy L.

Yelp
I am so disappointed to find myself writing this review. As a local resident, I want to support our local vendors/events, but I am losing faith at the quality this farmer's market offers. A few months ago, I bought some salted eggs from the this stall. Out of the 4 eggs, 2 were just regular but very old eggs. Why do I say old? Because the white of the eggs were grey, not white. I thought, they probably made a mistake. So, it's forgiven. Last weekend, I stopped by and buy baluts. The lady said they were 17 days old. Out of 6, we can only ate 2, because the other 4 were rotten. And for the 2 that were good, the birds could not be bigger than the tip of my pinky finger. 17 days old? Really? I didn't buy eggs in the super market because I hope to get fresh ones in the farmer's market. What a mistake! I am still bitter because I feel cheated! Why why why did I let them cheat me the 2nd time? On top of that, my husband bought some grapes on the same day. The stems were all dry up and withered. You call this FRESH produce? No. No. No. So far, I still like the honey and the bread stalls. The 2 stars are for them. But no, I will not go back to this farmer's market any more.
google avatar

Yelp
Sunday mornings are reserved for times like this, a nice warm sunny stroll in the suburbs in Northern California off a street full of vendors selling fresh fruit, vegetables and also the occasional pre-made snacks. This place is a very nice, casual and slow environment, great for people like because I simply don't care to impress. The deals are OK. It's really not the cheapest place you can find produce in around the area since the prices are comparable to those of Safeway (and we all know Safeway isn't cheap). But the quality is definitely pretty good. The fruits are very sweet. Some of the best tasting grapes, persimmons, plouts I've had. Not to mention "exotic" vegetables that you would never be able to find at Safeway, 99 Ranch, or other markets. Oh, they also have sugarcane! Delightful! This Farmer's Market isn't big by any means but it's not mumbled-jumbled up with a Flea Market that takes the attention away from good quality organic produce. It's also not too big where it's exhausting traversing through different corners of the Farmer's Market just to make sure you didn't miss anything. So I guess it's really just the "right size." Oh and lots of samples too, not sure how clean these samples are since I don't think they really wash them.... and cash ONLY. Enjoy.
google avatar

Diana L.

Yelp
I've been able to get to this farmers market a couple times this year and always find a good array of produce. Unfortunately I did have one bad experience here with one of the farmers who refused to take my $20 dollar bill because it had the slightest tear in it. I mean really? I was so shocked I just left and didn't get anything. It wasn't like she didn't have change because it was the end of the market and she had plenty of change to be able to break my $20.

Janice M.

Yelp
The Irvington Farmer's Market is a nice community market that has approximately 25-30 vendors. They feature a lot of Asian vegetables. You can buy most seasonal fruits for $2 a lb. - less expensive than the Newpark Mall Farmer's Market which charges $.50 more unless that's changed since the pandemic. You can purchase these things at the grocery store for cheaper sometimes but it's not as fresh. There's a vendor that sells fresh fish and another one that sells fresh cut flowers and potted plants. There's a nice variety of items sold there. I usually go early in the morning 8-9 am before the crowds. As far as I know, it's cash only.
google avatar

Eric J.

Yelp
Can't wait until summer vegetables and fruit are available. Don't forget a shopping bag! Not a big variety in selection, not much competition with the pricing ...... It's a nice, local, outing.
google avatar

Winnie W.

Yelp
I like this farmer's market. It's not huge that you'll get overwhelmed or get lost in it. About a block long with produce/food stands on both sides of the street. It runs every Sunday from 7am to 1pm and there isn't a massive crowd there so it was enjoyable. They've got great fresh produce for less of the price you pay at supermarkets. Organic too! Parking isn't bad. It's street parking only, I was able to find a parking spot a block away around 11am. I brought fresh strawberries. They were sooooo pretty. A great deal too. $4 for 3 baskets of them. I got a bag of kettle corn for $3, super delish! I brought broccoli, napa, spinach, and Chinese broccoli as well for a week's worth of veggies...it all came out to be less than $7! I'll definitely revisit! :)
google avatar

Breanna D.

Yelp
I love buying produce here, and that's what this farmers' market is about. There isn't that much ready-eat food besides kettle corn and breads, but finding locally grown produce is a breeze here. Usually I come to buy berries, and they have some pretty good deals the more you buy.
