I had a good experience here and got exactly what I asked for but I have not had this kind of salon experience before. I asked for a root touch up and a a nice blow out for a wedding. Never have I had a root touch up (and there have been many) where the color was not pulled through at the end to ensure a smooth transition. I told her she could go a little darker and she went slightly lighter, after one shampoo I can see a line of demarcation. It is not terrible, I can live with it another 5 weeks, I don't see any gray but I will not return for this service. I was charged separately for a shampoo and blow out, from a different stylist. I wondered, had I not got this service would they not have shampooed the color out? The blow out and styling was beautiful. couldn't be better. I saw pictures of myself at the wedding hours later, and my hair looked great, at an outside wedding, no less. I got many compliments from people who know me well and it looked pretty darn. good the second day. This is very close to home for me and I will return to Katie if I ever need just a blow out. She did a wonderful job and got me out of the salon at the promised time.

Saw Abel for a blowout and style on New Years Eve and was so relaxed that I actually fell asleep during my wash and again while in his chair. He was wonderful from start to finish and I felt fantastic at the end of my visit. I highly recommend Sky Salon and Abel especially!

They have a wide variety of services, workers, and clients. You'll see a variation from cute little elderly woman to trendy Dad to someone with a mohawk to California blonde babe. There is someone here that can do whatever it is that you need. The stylist that we see is Ky. She is amazing. She has connected with my teenage daughter and brought her hair vision to life. She never judges what she wants to do. She encourages her to stay true to herself, and not just do something typically cute, or trendy or mainstream. Right now my daughter has a curly red mullet and is loving her best life. Great staff. Great products. See Ky!

Jenna, you should refer to her as your ex client don't forget you told her NOT TO RETURN, you trying to justify your horrible behavior is even more disturbing. On your reply, you indicated that you wanted to provide some clarity. It would've been extremely helpful if it was clarity without lies. Correct I did not assist your (ex client) to the restroom. There was no need she's very capable of walking herself to the restroom. It's very difficult to ask a deaf person if they're OK in a locked restroom. Yes you asked if we should open the door and I said no because I can hear her moving around and I knew she was OK as for there being a key to the restroom am not sure if that's truly correct because your husband was trying to open the other restroom with a comb, and as far as you offering me, gloves and bleach, that's a LIE, you should have touch base with your husband before your reply, because I in fact did offer to clean up after my client your ex client, and he told me not to worry about it it's been taken care of. She took a little long in the restroom do to her cleaning up and changing her pants which again she's perfectly capable of doing herself I've entered A restroom after she's had an accident and there's always minimal cleanup. So let me get it right, by me refusing to barge in on my client, (your ex client) using the restroom and possibly embarrassing her even more, justifies you raising your voice, practically yelling humiliating, traumatizing her making her cry in front of your whole salon and telling her not to return. Yes Jenna I get it your a HORRIBLE PERSON.

Chris one of the stylist is the best colorist also! Front desk girls are helpful and friendly. Katie manages the day to day goings on to perfection. A comfortable place to be.

Love the location and salon, it is always very clean and carries a ton of Aveda products! Everyone that works there are professional, helpful and friendly. My stylist, Harmony is great, best haircuts and styling ever! Always on time, listens to what I want and doesn't overbook. I also have facials there and my Esthetician, Christine is the best. She offers many different services and I love the products she uses. Knowledgeable and attentive to my skin type and efficient with what is needed. This is a great place and offers many types of services, I love that I can get everything I need at one place!

Everything about this salon is perfect! The front desk service, the girls answering the phone & booking appointments are awesome. Cute things in the boutique. And the Aveda products they sell, being an Aveda salon, are wholesome without harmful additives. The stylist you choose has been well trained as a colorist with these products. You will be happy with the any of the services you receive here!

It's always a fun day to catch up with friends, get some pampering in and relax for a couple hours. This salon is the place to do it.

I came in for a consultation with Araceli on June 4th hoping to get my hair cut and colored. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with her mannerisms and demeanor. I understand I may have been unclear about my hair preferences, but that's why we had a consultation--to explore options and clarify my vision. Instead, I left feeling disrespected and shaky. As a mom of three, finding time for myself is rare, so this experience was particularly disheartening. I had high expectations based on recommendations, but unfortunately, I had the worst experience there. I left the salon without any service done due to poor customer service from the stylist. She made me feel unwelcome and simply disrespected. She spoke very loudly and kept repeating, "Do you know what I am saying? You know you won't get the color right?" She spoke to me as if I were a child. I wish I had a different experience.

Harmony is an experienced stylist and colorist. I'm picky on who cuts a bob. She exceeded my expectations.

Due to a recent surgery I'm unable to shower so I went to Sky Salon for a wash & blow dry. As always the place is inviting, beautiful & relaxing. The shampoo came with a fabulous head massage. My hair looks great & pampering myself took my mind off the discomfort I feel from my procedure.

Went to Sky Salon today for the first time. I had medium long hair, and wanted to get a short haircut. I had Melissa as a stylist and she was beyond amazing. She was so sweet and left my hair feeling and looking great. She also gave me a head massage while we waited for the conditioner to work it's magic. Almost fell asleep, the scent of the shampoo was also so good! Definitely going back whenever I have hair needs.

My hair has been coming in funky since it started growing back after cancer treatment in 2020. As fresh as the growth was, it also grew back a bit more brittle, and breaks easily at the ends. Anyways, yeah, totally haven't been happy with my hair and haven't really been giving it much care. I went in to Sky Salon on a whim, took a Saturday appointment that opened up. I went in with no ideas for cuts or style for my hair. I just knew I wanted all my dead, frayed ends to to get chopped off.... Hmm, maybe even some color, oh, I didn't know. I met with Lynn who was truly amazing. She sat me down and gauged my hair personality by my jewelry - big organic earrings, my profession - creative field, and maybe a few other things she learned about me through conversation. The more we talked the more she had ideas for this cut I didn't even think of. She started with a deep condition. When back at the chair, she talked me through my cut, first identifying the dead areas and working from there. Then she talked me through style. When she got a good groove going, she styled it and gave me a few more options to go even more funky, shorter on one side, a-symmetrical, different lengths. At this point, her work had already amazed, and I was trusting of her creativity, so I gave her the green light to continue with her masterpiece. Oh... and I don't know when was the last time I had bangs but felt I could rock it, so to meet me half way, Lynn gave me subtle bangs... and again schooled me on ways to style with or hide them. Epic turnout. I love, love my hair, and left with a happy shag, texture, volume, and a good shine on my hair. This truly was a great REFRESH for my hair. Sky Salon is amazing, and watched the other stylist at the various stations create. All seemed so talented and passionate about what they created. The atmosphere was bright, airy, and had a great view of the harbor out back. Thank you Lynn - the coolest dog lovin', hair artista! I highly recommend this salon, and definitely will be going back!

All of the stylists here are really nice, and I feel like my hair is healthier and softer after every visit. It's an Aveda salon, so you get what you pay for! Areli does a great job covering my stubborn roots and listening to my latest impulsive hair ideas!

I booked an appointment for my cousin's quinceañera within a week of arriving into town. The prices were reasonable and reviews on here were great. I am so glad I chose this place. The inside was beautiful and they had other cute accessories on sale. In terms of hair, my cousin got exactly what she wanted for her special day. She had a gorgeous updo with curls. I really enjoy coming here overall. It's bright and airy and all of the employees, be they hairstylists or assistants, are very nice. For the overall vibe of the store and the level of knowledge the stylists have, it's reasonably priced. I go to Lynn and she's truly an expert stylist. My hair always looks good and she cares about getting things right.

Alemeka my stylist was a creative perfectionist. So appreciate her ability to enhance my self image. Sky Salon truly chooses great talent and Aveda products to achieve clients expectations.

This Salon is awesome. Melanie was my stylist. She did a really good job on my hair. I needed it cut. I needed a conditioner and color. She is a very good colorist & knowledgeable about how to blend gray hair with blond so It doesn't show roots when growing out. That's a good. I wish I could afford to have her do my hair more often, I just can't afford it.

I had a good experience but definitely pricey. Just a cut for $85 definitely seems steep.

When I walked in the hairstyle said "Hi" then she ask me what did I want I show her a picture. She did a great job. When she washed my hair she gave me a head massage wow it felt great. I walked out with a smile. Hairstyle name is Melissa she was nice and friendly.

Their website has "Walk-ins welcome " and pricing says "hair cut $20-$60" Don't waste your time because when we walked in, they said $55 starting and use "Master stylist" as a job title. I guess they put a fancy title to up their price but advertise a low starting price to get you in the door. And they said only one person knows how to cut layers?! That's why they advertise they take walk-ins because few people actually sit down in the chair. This isn't Hollywood and you don't even get a view of the harbor. Instead you're just paying their high rental fees to have a spot in the harbor. No thank you. End result was my daughter went 2 blocks down where the stylist was also a "Master Stylist" and she paid $35 and had a nice experience.

Went back for a haircut and everyone was just as nice as last time. Harmony remembered me and the cut she did for me even though I've only seen her once before. That made me feel so happy and comfortable. She once again did a great job even though we changed up the cut a bit. She's amazing and I'll be seeing her again when I'm due for another cut.

I was a walk-in and decided to get a trim because they use Aveda hair products. My hair is thick and wavy so it takes a great stylist to do a good job. So many want to layer my hair and don't take shrinkage into account. Kai did a fantastic job, evaluating what it would look like dry in the real world. I'll be back. Great service and very reasonably priced.

Christopher is talented, knowledgeable, friendly, and has mad skills with hair and color. I met him to do my hair, roots and cover grey, plus color correction and cut. It was a lot! And he delivered. So I quickly scheduled my daughter for a special summer slash of color treat for her good grades. AMAZING Thank you Christopher!!!! And the spa for going above and beyond keeping everything healthy and clean Bravo

I had the absolute BEST COLOR AND STYLE BLOWDRY by Abel! He was such a breath of fresh air. Being new to the area I have been searching for a hair stylist that takes pride in their work and Abel certainly does. It showed in every way that he cared for my hair. He is meticulous and very great at his craft. His style of washing hair was more like a massage and was so soothing I almost fell asleep. His style of blowdrying hair was also amazing leaving my hair perfectly shiny and smooth. I would recommend him to everyone!!!

Awesome haircut and blowout from Abel. It is a little pricey for the area, mine was $80. But it's the same as similar high-end salons in San Luis Obispo where I live. And the stylists are more talented. Will definitely come back

Today I went to Sky Salon and Nikkie did a really good job doing my manicure and pedicure. She was very professional and just a nice friendly person. My experience was a good one.
