The house is beautifully preserved. The Guest Room comfortably accommodates three people. The house is so well insulated we never knew there were other guests. The owner is amazing, she shared the history of the home as she showed us around. Isabella also provided an excellent recommendation for dinner, sending us to Luxe VIP Lounge and SandBar. I would absolutely stay here again.

On my solo bike ride/tour along Natchez Trace from Natchez to Nashville, I had an overnight stay here. Everything mentioned on their website was very accurate.| |Beautfiul quaint historic home, wonderfully refurbished and decorated. My room with its own private bath was spacious with very comfortable bed.||Freshly home cooked breakfast was delicious and set me all up for my ride toward Nashville.||Host and staff are extremely helpful and friendly, genuinely interested in making sure your stay to be a pleasant and memorable one.||Highly Recommended.

I stayed here one night as I was cycling the Natchez Trace Parkway. OK, I was the only guest that night but no other way to describe it other than "I hung out with Isabel and Kelly the whole time."! They drove me to the 'Information Center' and to the restaurant to pick up dinner, which the 3 of us ate back in their dining room. Kelly especially regaled me with history and interesting anecdotes about Port Gibson and the Civil War, as well as a host of other topics. It was way more than 'just' Southern hospitality! Definitely recommend!

I recently spent one night at the Isabella B&B while bicycling the Natchez Trace. The owner/host, Isabel, gave me a quick tour around town. My room was very comfortable and quite large especially the bathroom. I would like to return one day.

We visited this wonderful BnB just before Christmas. This Queen Anne home was beautifully decorated for the season. The bedroom was quite comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. Our hosts, Isabel and Kelly Sullivan, were so welcoming and shared lots of fascinating information about their historic home and the historic town in which it sits. The home is located on Port Gibson’s main boulevard, so that we could easily walk down few blocks the other notable sites – the churches, synagogue, commercial district and the impressive courthouse. We highly recommend Isabellas!

Isabella was an absolutely wonderful experience. I traveled to Mississippi with a large group and we booked out the whole B&B. I appreciated our host's flexibility, engagement with our group and overall hospitality. I would absolutely stay again. The porch was a great spot for evening debriefs of our days work. Breakfast was amazing. We had a great time and will be back. One young person on our trip mentioned he had only ever stayed at AirB*B before, and they had not ever realized how much, "the Air took out of the experience!" A wonderful way to meet local people and engage with community. Five stars. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

This was our last stay on the trail as we bicycled along the Natchez Trace Parkway from north to south. The home was easily accessed, being about 1-1/2 miles from the Trace. It is a beautiful old place, with multiple verandas to relax on. The rooms are large and well appointed, with comfortable beds and private baths.||We walked a few blocks to the Royalty Lounge and Bistro for dinner. The Salmon and their Loaded Baked Potato were excellent and after biking, the short walk to and from the restaurant was very enjoyable.||Breakfast, prepared by Miss Sadie, was a special treat! It was delicious and fortified us well for our last day of riding to Natchez.||We had nice conversations with Isabel, who told us about the house and Port Gibson. We would highly recommend a stay here, and will do so again when we’re back in the area!!

My wife and I stayed at Isabella B&B for three nights and really enjoyed our stay. The owner is very accommodating and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. On-site parking easily accommodated our SUV and trailer. We used the stay to explore the Natchez Trace. Port Gibson is well located between Jackson and Natchez, allowing us to ride quiet roads.

Yelp
We wanted to come through the area for some family history reasons and had seen the Isabella for some other things going on. What a rich history of the house and also the most recent owners. Wish we could have stayed longer and our short visit was highlighted by the most genuine southern charm and topped off with an outstanding breakfast. Not sure what Bobbye is secretly seasoning those grits with but they were absolutely some of the best we've had. If you are anywhere near Port Gibson, you should plan your visit to spend at least a night here.....if not more. If we're in the area again there's no question where we will stay.

Yelp
Stayed at the Isabella Bed and Breakfast during a cycling trip down the Natchez Trace. The owners have scoped out a quiet route off the Trace to get to their property without hassle. The owners were both present and they were so very kind. She told us the history of the antebellum home and their restoration of it. The town has come on hard times and there was not much to do or see but the B&B is a gem and a great haven for cyclists. Breakfast was fantastic as well and we left full. They really cater to the cycling crowd.

Yelp
Upon arriving we met the 2 resident dogs, Clara Belle and Wild Buck. Then we heard their stories from the lady of the house. Very good dogs. She also gave us a history of her B&B which is worth finding in this small town near the Trace. The house has been beautifully and lovingly restored down to the intricate cypress flooring and very possibly Tiffany stained glass in the front rooms. The bannister's woodwork is artisan quality and intricate. The proprietress easily made us feel welcome and this B&B is an excellent example of why traveler's should visit these small towns. You might think there'd be nothing to see or do in Port Gibson but if you talk to the locals you will be surprised to find that hearing their stories and walking by the old churches and a few businesses you will be entertained until the stars come out.

Yelp
Old Southern Charm and Southern Hospitality lives at Isabella's Bed and Breakfast, in Port Gibson, Mississippi. It's a large, charming, home that has been restored to its original glory. Each of their large bedrooms, has its own upgraded private bathroom and individual decor. The entire house is a marvel, with beautiful stain glass through out; 2 quiet sitting porches; a cute breakfast area; and big beautiful magnolia tree, that acts as a canopy over it all. I loved my stay here, but I was disappointed that I didn't have more time to take it all in. However, the crown jewel of Isabella's Bed and Breakfast, are the owners, Phil & Bobbye Pinnix. Nicer host you will never fine. Go experience true Southern Hospitality, and tell them Darryl (from Pasadena) said hey.

Yelp
Such a wonderful stay at a place we could call home.... Miss Wendy made us feel very comfortable and was such a great hostess (and chef) during our stay.... She made us feel like we were staying with good family....

Yelp
This bed and breakfast was wonderful! It's this old Victorian home with all the creature comforts you could imagine. Breakfast was incredible with the best coffee I've had in awhile. The owners are the cutest couple and will make sure your every need is met! Definitely the best place to stay in Port Gibson and very close to the Natchez Trace. Y'all stay here next time you're passing through!

Yelp
A fabulous B&B and perfect stopover for cyclists on the Natchez Trace. Owner Bobbye met us at the door with a stack of towels, much appreciated after a day of cycling in the humidity. And an offer of a sandwich and a beer. I felt like I was in an old movie where your guardian angel shows up to make everything OK. Safe indoor bike parking but the sign says no cycling shoes inside on the beautiful floors. She and husband Phil know their clientele! This was further demonstrated with a delicious and bountiful multi-course dinner. The rooms and amenities were top-notch B&B. Breakfast was another delight, but I was too full from dinner to really have a go at everything. Can I give 6 stars?
