What Happened to Mike Isabella’s Restaurant Empire? | Eater

"Once a rapidly expanding restaurant group that took on dozens of high-profile projects backed largely by developers and landlords, the company grew so fast that staff felt chronically overworked and corporate structure lagged behind operations; an HR department was only added after the staff count approached 800. Rapid openings, alleged mishandling of the founder’s alcohol problems, and a settled sexual-harassment lawsuit contributed to mounting legal and reputational damage, culminating in bankruptcy filings and the winding down of many venues. Employee headcount fell (from roughly 800 to about 400), dozens of restaurants closed or were slated to close, and while some investors reportedly remained interested, the business suffered severe financial and public-relations setbacks tied to accusations of a hostile workplace and persistent negative press." - Monica Burton

Not Much Will Change for Mike Isabella After Sexual Harassment Lawsuit | Eater

"An expansive restaurant group that recently settled a sexual-harassment lawsuit for an undisclosed sum and pledged to improve harassment training. Because the accused denied the allegations, he remains publicly and operationally in charge rather than stepping away, a stance that reportedly calmed some investors and managers but has drawn criticism that ownership continuity will limit meaningful cultural change. The group has suffered reputational fallout — a publicist departed, a partnership with the Washington Nationals was ended, and its restaurants have been deemed ineligible for certain awards and dining guides — yet the settlement and denials mean the leader appears to believe no substantive fixes to operations are required." - Monica Burton

To say I love this place is an understatement! The food is so delicious and good sized portions. It's a family owned business and it is very comfortable to dine there.

This place was so good! We decided to give it a try after looking at many other places we could go. We were not disappointed! My girls had the fettuccine and pizza, husband and I shared the Chicken Romana and the Lasagna. They were all amazing! I do have to admit my favorite was the Chicken Romano. It all tasted so good and was nice and authentic. We also had the chocolate mousse cake. That also did not disappoint. Everything was very reasonably priced as well. The staff were very polite and patient with us since we were having a hard time on what we should order. Isabella’s will definitely be a place we visit when we come through this way again.

My 85 y.o. raised in Brooklyn father thought it was phenomenal. I agreed. Born and raised in NY, this place challenges anything I've had back home. CHX marsala & picatta were great. My dad had the ravioli... amazing. I had the linguine and clams....out of this world. Bread was great and the service was on point. Two thumbs up 👍👍

Aug 2024 We realized the last time we were here was 7 years since we were here last. We ordered and were served with bread with olice oil and balsamic. The bread was good. Our Italian Salad was also good. Diced into smaller pieces, which is how I like it. The Mushroom Pizza was also done perfectly. Crispy crust and good earthy mushroom flavor. The Chicken Picatta was tasty, seasoned just right. I just wish it was breaded chicken. It tasted great, but looked like boiled chicken. Finally the Tiramisu was also wonderful. It was probably our favorite dish of the meal. The staff were attentive and helpful. Overall, it was a decent experience. 2017: Great service and enjoyable pizza. The chicken marsala was good, the chicken was perfect. However the sauce could have used some more wine. The calamari was also good, though the batter was a bit heavy. Really good was the marinara sauce! The best thing was the tiramisu. Be sure to try it.

We came here many years ago and it was a mess. This time, it was great. Good food, adequate portions, good value. Service was great. We'll definitely be back.

The back of the terrace seat is the shop. I would be worried if there were no customers on the terrace seats, but that's not the case. Salads and pastas are delicious and reasonably priced.

Google
Nice cozy spot in Burbank that is no fuss but all goodness. We went for dinner and had a variety of dishes. By far the best dish we had though it was the fettuccine alfredo. I cannot understand how delicious that thing was and was honestly in my top three of best fettuccine Alfredo's I have ever had in my life. Their pizza was nice portion sizes and dough was cooked perfectly. Also recommend trying their house specials, they know what they are doing. Overall a literal definition of hidden gem spot. Definitely will revisit if in the Burbank area again.

Yelp
I heard this was a Burbank hidden gem and now I know why. The ambiance gives old school mom and pops vibes. The customer service is really friendly and helpful. The food is the highlight of the whole experience and delicious. We ended up getting a bbq chicken pizza, salad, lasagna, ice cream and tiramisu. The pizza and lasagna were very light and tasted fresh. The bbq in the pizza was not too sweet or overpowering the other ingredients. The desserts were good as well but tiramisu stood out. It was delicious and very light. Probably one of the best iv ever had. The biggest surprise was how affordable everything was. One salad, pizza, lasagna, 2 drinks, ice cream and tiramisu all came to a total of $57 (tax included) If you're in the area definitely check them out

Yelp
My wife and I have been driving by Isabella's for years, but never stopped. We finally did and now regret the years we could have been eating here! It's a neighborhood joint with a family-friendly vibe offering everything you want on an Italian menu, plus table bread. We ordered Minestrone, Antipasto Salad, Chicken Isabella, Calzone, and Tiramisu. All good! We'll push our luck and try the lasagna and gnocchi next time. Definitely stop by!

Yelp
Someone raved about this Italian restaurant which was why we went. It is definitely not a "date" place. Very casual with plastic or vinyl tablecloths. The food was good but not very presentable. More like a diner presentation. In a pinch, I might come back. Service was just okay.
google avatar

Chris R.

Yelp
This was much better than I expected. While the ambience was not really there and the air conditioner wasn't really working the day I visited, it had decent lasagna. Think checkered tables. The breadsticks were dry, but the Lasagna was delicious with plenty of sauce and cheese on top. Service was fine, as I was at one of three occupied tables. Parking is mostly street parking.

Yelp
This place is so good! I ordered take out: mostaccioli with minestrone soup and bread. Everything was so delicious. I can't wait to try the eggplant. The staff both on the phone and in person were very nice. The inside was super cute and wish I had the time to dine in. I look forward to next time!

Yelp
Horrible experience. Ate here a couple times before and had good food. This last time was a disaster. I found a piece of plastic/glass in my calzone. I almost cut my mouth. I called the restaurant and they said a manager would be in touch. I still have not heard from them. Please be careful if you eat here.
google avatar

Yelp
It was good, but nothing spectacular. I will say, our waitress was amazing! Super attentive and so sweet! The ambiance is very casual and the area isn't so great. For the prices, I'd have probably preferred to try somewhere else.

Yelp
Decided to try Isabella's kitchen since I was craving Lasagna! I was sure I would be disappointed but decided to go. I was busy picking up my jaw off the floor when my food got to my table. I was speechless at the perfection of the food! Last time I ate a phenomenal lasagna was in Italy many years ago. In my 40 years in America I haven't had a good lasagna anywhere let alone a spectacular lasagna like this. The restaurant itself reminded me of Nona's kitchen in Italy eating at her table on the patio. The distinct old home smell when you enter is nostalgic and although needing a facelift I felt very comfortable taking in the nostalgia and reminiscing of my time in Italy. This is going to be my new haunt when my heart cries for Italy!

Yelp
Arrived late afternoon and it wasn't very crowded which was good because it is a small eating area. Service was good and quick. Ordered the chicken Marsala and side salad. Salad was fine just a standard type. The chicken was cooked just right and the sauce had good flavor and no skimping on the mushrooms. The side of pasta with oil and garlic was good. The pasta seemed to be fresh. Also ordered the lasagna, which was still bubbling when it came to the table. Very good flavor with just the right amount of cheese on it. Out of the two I think the lasagna was the better dish. Like the focaccia bread that was brought to the table. It is a small place but worth the stop and one of the few places you can get dinner before 5 pm.
google avatar

Yelp
Food is GREAT and for the price it's even better. You can get a meal for 2 people for around $30 and that's perfect! Our waitress was also great and che ked on us multiple times and getting our check was super fast also. It seems like everywhere restaurant I go to I'd have to wait the longest for the check but here you don't have to worry about that. It is a little bit warm inside the restaurant but not enough to feel uncomfortable
google avatar

Rosario M.

Yelp
The service was excellent and the food was delicious!! I had the Penne with Mushroom Marinara, which was flavorful and tasty. The prices are affordable, yet the quality is top-notch. I highly recommend eating here
google avatar

Yelp
First timer and I wasn't disappointed! Just walking up to the building. The smell was on another level! Sat down and looked over the menu. So many delicious dishes. Ordered Chicken Piccata and Penne with meat sauce. Both amazing! I wanted to drink the sauce from the Chicken Piccata. It was that good. The bread is also delicious. Food and service was excellent! I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Finding authentic yet classic Italian food in LA is hard but Isabella's delivered. Each pasta we ordered hit the spot and we got warm bread with our meal. Nothin wowed us being the best thing ever but if you're missing east coast Italian Isabella's is perfect. Service was very quick and our waitress is friendly. Inside is a little outdated, very mom and pop, and did not have AC - fair warning on hot days. Would definitely come back anytime I'm craving Italian.

Yelp
When you're here you're family...no, wait, that's the other place. However, this place actually looks like a family home, located right on the edge of a residential area on a relatively quiet stretch of Burbank boulevard. Blink...and you'll miss the best Italian food around. They don't really have a website (until sometime last year) nor are they available on any delivery apps. The first time I ordered, I had to look at a grainy picture of the menu on Yelp. Somehow, thanks to old school word of mouth, this place has persisted and thrived. Ordering is simple and straight forward, call, place your order, and you go in about 30-40 minutes depending on if they're busy. Everything is reasonably priced and you get what you pay for, which is excellent food. Due to the times we currently live in, we order our meals to go and it was some of the best comfort food we had during some darkest days. Everything is packaged so nice and neat and it's the perfect thing to bring home to your actual family. Here's what we always get and you should too: The Caesar Salad: You know you're in for a treat when there's a warning about raw eggs since that usually means the dressing is authentic and made in house. The dressing is delicious and hits all the notes you want...peppery, creamy, tangy, zesty, and cheesy. On crispy romaine with shaved parm and croutons, it's a meal in itself. Chicken Gorgonzola: Maybe the best thing on the menu and it's the dish that drew me in first. Two of the most tender, perfectly cooked chicken cutlets you'll get on bed of sauteed spinach, swimming in a gorgonzola cream sauce. The sauce is creamy and funky thanks to the cheese and once you toss in the pasta, it's a great plate of food. If I had one complaint about this place, the portion servings aren't as big as other Italian places. They don't give you enough for a meal tomorrow...but then again, you're probably gonna eat the whole thing in one sitting anyway. If you happen to finish all the pasta and chicken and you're left with just sauce, the focaccia that comes with your meal is the perfect way to sop all of that cream sauce up. It's crispy and chewy, not the big fluffy squares other places have. Texturally, it's better cause it offers a nice crunch with your saucy pasta dishes. Chicken Alfredo: This is my Mom's go to and it's an excellent baseline of any Italian place. There's not much to say about this dish other than it's excellent and I prefer it to the red sauce dishes. Occasionally we'll get the shrimp alfredo and it comes with a few big pieces of shrimp. We haven't strayed far from these few options and there are times when my girlfriend and I would rather order two orders of the chicken gorgonzola rather than branch out and try new things. We've had the pesto and it's good, but not my cup of...pesto. It's oilier than what I prefer, but that doesn't mean it isn't good. We got it with the gnocchi and that dish just didn't hit as well with us. It's possible it doesn't hold as well to go than having it there. Overall, you'd be hard pressed to find a better spot in town and Burbank is flush with delicious, authentic Italian options. If you wanna support a great, local business, with really good food, Isabella's is the place to go.

Yelp
Best Italian around Affordable lunches & just small family owned I highly recommend. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Yelp
The service is great. The food is delicious. The fetaccini Alfredo I recommend. The ambiance is pleasant and inviting either by yourself or with the family is perfect. I highly recommend this place of business.

Yelp
A coworker suggested this place and it did not disappoint!! We have been looking for a new Italian restaurant that has good food & this is it. The staff is super friendly and being our first time there they were helpful with suggestions and spot on! We were nervous as we were the only patrons in the place but after the Focaccia bread was served up all nice and warm our fears melted away. It's a small and simple restaurant with a nice size variety of dishes. The lasagna and spaghetti with meatballs are a must try. We will be back to try other items! Love that we can bring our own vino for a small corkage fee, that's another plus!! A coworker suggested this place and it did not disappoint!! Yelp
Food was so amazing! I had the lasagna and it was the second best lasagna I've ever eaten! And my grandfather was an Italian chef. Sooo good

Yelp
Great food, good price. Service was a bit slow at times, but maybe that's because I drink my water too fast lol.

Yelp
DEEEELICIOUS food, friendly service & unbelievably REASONABLE prices! Simple, not fancy dining room with a killer Rat Pack-style of swing for a soundtrack. We WILL become regulars and eventually try EVERYTHING on the menu!

Yelp
This is an updated review since I dined in last night for the first time in a while. My boyfriend and I decided to celebrate valentines here at Isabella's and it was just as delicious as usual. I was really happy to see how busy it was because they deserve to have a full house! The waitress was super sweet and attentive and our food came out at a reasonable time. We got the bruschetta to share- delicious as always- and I got the manicotti (stuffed shells) and my boyfriend got the baked mostaccioli. Both were fantastic and filled us up. I seriously can't recommend this place enough and can't wait for our next date night here.
google avatar

Jared F.

Yelp
Isabella's is one of my favorite spots for date night. It has a very home-like vibe and is always calm inside, even when it's busy. The food here is delicious. I normally get the Baked Mostaccioli, which I highly recommend. This is definitely a hidden gem in the Burbank area and I would say if you are in the area you for sure need to give it a try.
google avatar

Angelica J.

Yelp
If you're looking for a home cooked feel Italian night, definitely stop by Isabella's kitchen. We had the bruschetta for appetizer--it was tasty. Their complimentary bread was focaccia and it was fresh and crispy! We absolutely loved it--we asked for a second round! For my main dish, I ordered the chicken Romano--it's probably one of their famous dish. Think of it as a chicken Milanese on top of pasta bed covered with red sauce. The sauce is delicious. I wish it had more pasta with it. My fiancé ordered the calzone and you can tell it was freshly made. The service was great. I loved the ambiance- it felt very homey. I outdo definitely come back here and try the other dishes!

Elizabeth T.

Yelp
Isabella's is a local Gem, the food and service are great and you can even bring you own wine. We love heading their and enjoying the bread and salads and all their dishes. Its a causal place and its for all types of people.
google avatar

LeilaniEriche L.

Yelp
This is amazing food. Not exaggerating. I am very honest in our reviews. My wife had the chicken Romano. Wow! Incredible taste and presentation. She called it marry me chicken. It is garlicky. We are in the car and she is still singing its praises. I had the baked mostaccioli and that was fantastic too! These flavors that kitchen was able to coax out of their ingredients deserves a salute. They also provide complimentary rosemary focaccia, which tasted very homemade. We started with the Italian salad and it was really good. It had two kinds of beans and the dressing also felt homemade. The large is perfect for two to split. The atmosphere was great. The place had a few families in their eating, but suddenly it became really packed. Seems like a neighborhood secret that we just found out about. I only have one bad thing to say. It was too hot. We are in a heatwave and maybe their AC wasn't working that great. I literally melted. The waitstaff were attentive and friendly.
google avatar

Roxanne C.

Yelp
Exceeded expectations! It felt like I was eating a home cooked meal, fresh and delicious. Our family will come back again.
google avatar

Liz K.

Yelp
Great local restaurant with true homemade pasta, sauces and flavors. The portions are decent and prices are affordable. There were plenty of pick up orders coming in and out which means local people love the food. The service was ok but the teamwork in the place was more important. That's probably why the food was so good. They care about the product. The atmosphere was nothing much, in fact kind of in need of some updating. However, it's about the quality of the food so don't come for the atmosphere.

Barbara A.

Yelp
So far, I've been here 3 times and each time I've really enjoyed my meals!! The last time my friend shared some of her cheese pizza with me and I have to say, it was the best pizza I've ever had!!! I'm not even a pizza lover and I'll order theirs again!! The only thing is, the ambience isn't very good, it could be really cute!!

AR p.

Yelp
genuinely one of the best italian places in the area the lasagna and chicken romano are to die for

Yelp
i love Isabellas!!! I am shocked i have never reviewed it before now! the fettucine alfredo is my favorite and their salads are so delicious!!! Yelp
After passing by this place for years, I finally had the opportunity to eat at Isabella's Italian Kitchen. This is a small family owned restaurant on a busy stretch of Burbank Blvd, located in Burbank. The restaurant has around 15 tables with a small bar. The friendly waitress immediately took my drink and food order, then brought me out house bread with olive oil. The bread was a little hard but came out nice and warm. This was my first time so I ordered a couple items. I ordered a small combo pizza and the baked mostaccioli . The pizza was delicious, with no shortage of toppings. The crust was nice and crispy, and the sauce had a nice flavor. Definitely would order again. I would say the baked mostaccioli tasted ok. The sauce was little bland for my taste, probably wouldn't order again. The ambiance was cozy with Sinatra type tunes playing throughout the restaurant but the interior is definitely showing some wear and tear and could use a fresh coat of paint . The menu has plenty of items to choose from so finding something that catches your eye shouldn't be a problem. I definitely plan on coming back and trying different pastas. Isabella's is worth a try when seeking Italian food at reasonable price.

Mike C.

Yelp
Went for lunch specials. Got a delicious bubbling lasagne and salad for $13. A real bargain these days. Friendly service. Definitely going back!
google avatar

Richard M.

Yelp
Great food. Lasagna is delicious. Quiet spot. Good service. Pizza and salads are good
google avatar

Justin K.

Yelp
TASTY! The focaccia bread was soft and warm, and we asked for a side of marinara sauce and they were perfect together. For the main dish, we had the eggplant parmigiana, chicken parmigiana and combo pizza slice. They were all very delicious at a reasonable price. And comes dessert time we got a tiramisu and that too was delightful. This place looks a bit divey from the outside, but the staff were lovely. Very accommodating and easy going.
google avatar

Mike B.

Yelp
This is a really friendly, small restaurant located in Burbank! It seats about 50(?) and I noticed a constant stream of people coming in to pick up to go out orders. The staff is real friendly and seem like they would, over time, come to know your name. The bread, which was nice ad warm, came out first. It was nice and warm and came with a dish of Olive oil. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs which included a large plate of spaghetti and two, baseball sized meatballs and plenty of sauce! More than enough to share if you like. I planned on taking some home but the food was so good I ate it all! Everyone in my party had plenty to eat! The serving sizes are huge, the atmosphere is laid back and I live coming to this place! Check it out, you won't be sorry!

Yelp
Love the Chicken Marsala. Our second time at Isabellas. Our first time eating here was at their location in Beverly Hills this summer. That is why I knew we wanted to eat here. Chicken Marsala is the best. Me and my girl love that plate. Lots of sauce and Good meat in the Marsala which taste kind of rich. Great wine here and some tasty drinks. NIce people and good place. Hope to visit again real soon.

Yelp
We've now been here twice and have thoroughly enjoyed it both times. As folks who frequent the Olive Garden, I can wholeheartedly say that this place is far superior. Thought that shouldn't come as a shock because Olive Garden is, as the kids say, very "mid", I just feel like decently priced pasta dishes that are also consistently tasty are hard to come by. They have a large menu with lots of options and give you a basket of fresh focaccia bread for the table. The best part about the restaurant is that it's very calm and laid back. In the craziness that is Burbank and Los Angeles, this place is an oasis. The service is good and it feels like a hole in the wall you'd see on the East Coast. Found a new go-to! We got the Chicken Romano and the Manicotti and both were delicious. HUGE portions so think about getting a couple and splitting them!
google avatar

Yelp
I hate getting Italian food. But i love Italian food. I hate getting it because most places are insanely over priced and you usually get water downed meat sauce and tasteless marinara or dry meatballs. Spaghetti and meatballs shouldn't cost 23 bucks. So let's talk Isabella's. I pass this place every time i go to work and I've always wanted to try it. Problem is I'm a bit lazy and I procrastinate The lazy part is that i only like to order online cuz it's paid for and i just grab and go. The procrastinating part is i wait till late at night on weekends to order dinner Well Isabella's closes at 8:30 and they don't have online ordering. So it looked like our relationship would never get started. But tonight i was going home early and decided to call the place and order lasagna, penne and meat sauce and a side of sausage. When i got home i was going to save the lasagna for tomorrow but took one bite and it was absolute delicious. So i said I'll save the penne for tomorrow but i needed one bite while it's fresh and hot. Again delicious So my ass ate both dinners and it was so freaking good. Don't you judge me ! Anyway... The prices are very reasonable around 12-14 bucks for lasagna (i forgot the exact price) and same for the penne pasta This place is too good To be hidden. Please try it. I know i will.

Yelp
This is such a great hole in the wall! I was looking for local Italian places near my boyfriend's and this gem had the highest rating, so why not go check it out? It's a tiny restaurant on the corner, but don't be fooled! My boyfriend and I went on a Saturday night at about 6:45 pm. There were only a few tables taken. Immediately greeted and told to pick any where we'd like to sit. We ordered drinks and they immediately brought out this fresh baked focaccia bread. It was some of the best I've had! Plus the oil and balsamic. SOOO GOOD! After enjoying the bread and drinks, people started flooding in! From couples to families to a gentleman by himself. I think there was only the bar area (like 4 seats) left! We didn't wait too long before our entrees arrived. The plates were piping hot. But man oh man. I had the chicken Romano - which I loved the bread chicken and the oil tossed pasta it came with. Not too heavy or too light. My boyfriend had the lasagna and said it was real delish! The portion was great too because he didn't even finish it. Lol. If you're looking for a great local spot, this is it! I'll definitely be back soon!

Debora A.

Yelp
They have amazing authentic Italian food at average prices for these days. Just a tiny place but you can't beat the food.

Yelp
We had a chicken Parmigiano sandwich. It was so good. We also had some other pasta dishes that looked really good. The service was great.

Yelp
This is a very much needed review for Isabella's. We have been here a handful of times and everytime have been pleased with service and food. The food is made with love, a true Italian gem in Burbank. My go to dish is the chicken Marsala and it is DELICIOUS! Everything we have had has been so good, my son loved their penne pink pasta. The Caesar salad is wonderful as well as the focaccia bread they serve. We were just in there this Saturday evening, the main dinner area was crowded but we were able to grab a table in the front. The service is friendly and attentive! Highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the mood for some authentic made with love Italian food. Can't wait to be back! Next time I'll make sure to add some pictures.

Marc L.

Yelp
As Burbank residents, I am ashamed to say that I had never eaten here before. The food was wonderful. The lasagna was flavorful with a well executed marinara sauce. The wife's fettuccini Alfredo was rich with a sauce that coated the noodles completely. Service was attentive but not intrusive. We loved the simple space of the restaurant. Homely and welcoming. Nothing fancy, just delicious. We have found our new place to go for Italian food in Burbank.

This dining experience was phenomenal. The servers were attentive and kind. The food was spectacular. We shared a Cesar salad, small pizza and lasagna and it was all delicious. I highly recommend the lasagna!

Yelp
I'm baffled by the raving reviews for this pseudo-Italian restaurant. We came in expecting not much in the way of atmosphere but (from reading their reviews) hopeful to find good authentic Italian food. Man! This place is seriously overrated. There were only three other tables seated as we dined here last night. I kid you not---only 3. We were a party of two. We sat at our empty table for an hour and ten minutes waiting for any food to arrive. Worse, we ordered soup. I finally cancelled the soup, thinking there'd be no time to eat it. Our distracted server, "Jesica", issued a brief defense, "tables get their food in the order they were seated!" Oh lord. Really, Jesica? It's soup. Takes about 30 seconds to plate. Maybe a couple of minutes if the kitchen is rewarming it before it comes out. Not over an hour and ten minutes and counting. I'd ordered their Chicken Piccata. When it finally arrived (close to 1 1/2 hours after placing the order) it was underwhelming. The cutlets were slimy. I now understand why other restaurants often lightly coat their Chicken Piccata with bread crumbs. Even worse though, the chicken was undercooked and surrounded by areas of wiggly chicken fat and gristle. The lemony sauce was nothing special and contained only six (yes, exactly 6) capers. The Chicken Piccata was served with a side of lukewarm spaghetti marinara. The spaghetti was almost completely cold as though someone had just dished up some overcooked noodles still cold from the fridge straight onto my plate. I don't mean to be unkind, just honest---I've tasted more authentic marinara sauces straight from a jar. Theirs was oddly sweet as though someone mistook their sugar container for salt. We'd waited so long for our food that after a few bites it was time to leave. Jesica handed us tiny to-go containers way too small to handle our large amount of uneaten food. She looked shocked when we asked for a larger container. All around a disappointment. We have no urge to ever go back.

Yelp
service is terrible we waited there for what it seemed like 10 hours . Me and my family were starving to death and felt like leaving. My cheese was literally falling off my pizza. Then when I was hoping I could get chocolate cake they didn't have it! Like what restaurant doesn't have chocolate cake. I hope this restaurant gets more people working here so the food comes faster. PS the food was was decent.- by my 11 yr old brother who was not in a good mood as my brother clearly stated before, the wait was pretty long and it doesn't help that we were all very hungry to begin with. but they tried their best to accommodate us by giving us extra bread and our appetizer. when the food did come however, it was VERY good. The flavors were great and the tiramisu was phenomenal. although the service was a bit slow, the food was worth the wait and the restaurant gave a homey, comfy vibe.
