Bold flavors, well cooked and interesting, eclectic plates. Food tastes fresh and wholesome, and there is a good variety. Plates packed a lot of flavor too. Do note, the prices on google are not reflective of the actual prices (they’ve gone up a few dollars). Recommend the Brazil Bowl and Diablo Chicken.

Delicious, unique fusions of flavors. I ordered the Buddha Bowl and a glass of ginger carrot juice. The drink tasted of carrots with a squeeze of lime and just enough ginger to refresh and revive. I added carnitas to the bowl for a combination of Mexican and Asian, and it was delish. My date ordered the chili relleno and said it was perfectly spiced and cooked. Service was friendly and efficient, and the place is simply lovely. Try it yourself!

My friend recommended Isabel's to me and Im glad I came. It was 6:30 on a Thursday, lots of seating, it picked up later. The atmosphere and decor was very cool, clean, a mix of Asian and woods, it was relaxing and comfortable. The service was superb, quick and friendly, kudos! The food was amazing, very fresh and flavorful. We started with the chili lime cucumber, which was so good. Simple but very delicious and fresh. I had the pepitas crusted catch of the day and it was so good. The fish was flaky and cooked to perfection on kale and grilled brown rice. It all was a delicious bite when I added the sauce that came one the side. My friend had tacos with catch of the day and he enjoyed it very much. Thank you for the great service and fresh food!

My goto favorite restaurant whenever I come to visit San Diego!! Such a healthy and delicious fusion of flavors, created from a unique blend of Mexican and Asian cuisine. The food is served with a smile in a relaxed casual atmosphere, frequented by lots of locals. Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait on weekends, but your tummy will be glad you did.

I feel awkward giving a lower review since there was nothing blatantly wrong, but for the price point, this felt like one of the "okayest" restaurants I've tried in awhile. Place seemed promising with a cool location nestled in a cute little neighborhood, eclectic decor, hipster vibe, friendly-enough wait staff... But with the competition in San Diego, I really don't see myself making the trek to eat here again. Service- everyone seemed sweet, a little unprofessional though. I'm a little picky though with wait staff that wear long hair down and flowing (granted her hair was gorgeous and yes she did look presentable), especially when they fiddle with it while working...I wish I didn't catch that because it set the tone for the evening for me. Our server was sweet but when it comes to food, that's a big no no for me. It was quite busy so service was understandably slower. All food arrived barely lukewarm to the table. Was not checked on even once during our meal sadly until it came time to bus. Food- we had the plantain "shoestrings" (a little closer to wedges ) and we enjoyed it with the dipping sauce. I had chilli relleno which I thought was good too. Not the best I've had, but I liked the flavors. Carnitas would've probably had better texture of they were warmed through better. My husband's plate was a question mark though . It looked incomplete , as if the kitchen staff didn't want to bother with plating ? Ahi was cooked just right though and flavors were good so I'm grateful for that . I wish I could say the plating was simply rustic, but to me it just felt a little lazy . Again, food was just barely lukewarm. Beverages - I had the blood orange iced tea and husband had what is basically a fancy gingerale. Both... good..?.smaller size served in small mason jars, and I couldn't tell you about refills since nobody offered lol. Price point - I don't mind paying more as long as the experience matches what I'm shelling out. I was gifted a living social gift certificate, which I used to pay as well with no problems. Total bill without tip came to almost $70. Overall takeaway - decently pleasant, buy definitely on the pricier side for what you get.

Had a lovely breakfast at Isabel's with my daughter. This was our first time dining here and once we walked through the doors we were impressed. Honestly the exterior looks like the restaurant is closed or run down but inside is lovely and the food was amazing! A must try and we will be going back!
