The Thai food here was decent and satisfying, with a good variety of options. Happy hour was definitely a highlight, offering solid deals that made it a nice place to stop by for drinks and small plates. The atmosphere was lively, but the music was a bit too loud for my taste, which made conversation harder than expected. Overall, it’s a good spot for casual dining or happy hour.

Great food(not the steak tho) good vibe and can see some water view. Usually have a line so if you want to dine here for dinner or the weekend, put your name on their waitlist and take a walk around the lake

This is one the best Thai food restaurants that I have eaten. We went there 2 times out of the 3 days and will be back again for our next trip. There was not a dish I ordered that I did not like. The dishes I ordered that I liked were - beef salad, crab fried ice, pad see ew with beef, northern Thai sausage, crab curry, southern curry noodle dish, fried mushrooms - well all of them were delicious. They are popular, so there will be a wait, unless you can save your stomach to eat a bit later - after the normal lunch/dinner time - like us, you can just walk in

The service and atmosphere were nice and relaxing. The portion sizes were good for the price they charge. The food was okay, but the flavors were just alright. Having been to Thailand many times, I found the flavors here to be less spicy and not as authentically Thai as I expected.

Food: 5/5 The food was amazing. I ordered the Chiang Mai Noodles — they were sweet and spicy, tangy, and delicious. The crispy egg noodle complements the curry. I also loved the presentation. Additionally, we got the mushroom fritter; I really like the texture, with a soft inside and a crunchy outer shell. It comes with a sweet sauce. If you like mushrooms, I definitely recommend trying them. Service: 4/5 The service was good. Our server checked on us and provided whatever we needed, including water refills, Although there were times where we had to catch their attention to help us. Atmosphere: 5/5 The restaurant was well-lit, and I liked the layout of the tables and the overall vibe — very welcoming and comfortable. Recommend? I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great Thai food. The quality is outstanding and definitely worth the price. I will be coming back for sure!

Happy Hour 3-6 pm. The papaya salad (Som Tum) tastes just like it does in Thailand. All the vegetables are fresh and super crisp, and the service is excellent.

Super chill vibes, amazing food best pad se uw I've ever had. Had to wait a little for our food but it was so worth it. Very nice people, they felt bad for how long we had to wait and we got a free thai tea and it was amazing. I would come again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I came here with a friend for dinner, and we both loved our time here. The decor was top-notch, and the food was phenomenal. We both shared the papaya salad, squid skewers, and the very juicy lemongrass wings appetizer. I got the Northern style sweet curry with rice and I thought it was really good but I wish there were vegetables in the dish. The service was good - a bit slow but it was very busy when we went so it was understandable.

I enjoy Isarn with a passion! It is my go-to spot when I'm looking for a dinner spot to show off to visitors, and it never disappoints. Some of my favorites are: Crab Fried Rice - A big portion of fried rice with crab mixed in served with sauce and sliced veggies. Crying Tiger - Delicious and tender steak that is great for sharing with the table. Pad Thai - A classic and done very well here. I love to get this with the tofu. Isarn Mini Wings - Sticky, savory, and many pieces to share with your guests. All the food is flavorful and filling and never leaves me unsatisfied. The service is very hospitable and friendly as well. Parking can be harder here as it is downtown, but it is definitely worth the trek and effort to eat here for a night out. The only downside is this restaurant location is quite loud and packed so it can be difficult to have conversation. Once the food comes out, I'm sure there will be less conversing anyway so it's not a huge deal breaker.

I came here with my friends (group of 6) on a Friday evening and while we had to wait for a table, the food was worth it! We didn't have to wait too long, and the staff was kind enough to combine a few tables together, since it is a relatively small space. They do not take reservations for large parties on weekends, unfortunately. We got an assortment of dishes, all of which were tasty and decently priced. My favorites were the pad see ew and the curry and I would definitely recommend. I also tried the tropical passion mocktail which was on the sweeter side but was very refreshing!

The prices at Isarn are unbeatable. Out of all of the restaurants owned by Kin Len, this is the most affordable! Parking is difficult to find but I managed to find a spot a few blocks away. Overall, the food is pretty solid. We ordered isarn fried rice, northern style sweet curry, and isarn herbal soup. Everything was well seasoned and we loved that there were so many unique options other than the usual dishes you can get at a Thai restaurant. Service here is fast but the atmosphere is a little loud of my liking. Would come back still though!

Ordered the mushroom fritters appetizer that was supposed to be oyster mushrooms but definitely wasn't. Very cheaply made with lots of breading and skinny pieces of mushrooms. It was pretty annoying not getting the type of mushroom we ordered. Our food came out fast and somehow my red curry was cold with hot sliced chicken on it. I'm baffled that my red curry didn't come with a side of rice and required ordering in addition. Never been to a Thai place that does that. I boxed everything for lunch the next day since it was cold anyways. We were asking for our check at 8:40pm (20 minutes before they close) and they were loudly stacking the chairs around us. There were still plenty of other patrons there, not just us. The vibe was giving pretentious.

* Kao soi 4.5/5 * Pad sea ew 3.5/5 * Thai salad 3.5/5 Kao soi it's definitely the best thing I've had here! It's kinda like a curry or a soup but if you get rice on the side and add it in, it's pretty damn good. Good location and very modern trendy place.

We really enjoy eating here and ordering takeout to go. The food quality is the same whether you eat there or take it home to go. We have been here a few times for happy hour and really enjoyed the happy hour menu and the drinks. My favorite is the mussel omelet. It reminds me of the Banh Xeo at Vietnamese places. I wish they gave you more lettuce though because it is extremely greasy. I also really like all the noodle and rice dishes, you really cannot go wrong. My husband enjoyed the snapper and would highly recommend it. Besides the food being good, the atmosphere is fun and the service is fast. The food doesn't take too long to come out and the servers are nice and attentive. It does get very busy during dinner though. If you don't want to wait, I would go during early dinner. Otherwise there is often people waiting outside for a table.

ISARN THAI SOUL KITCHEN @ KIRKLAND SHOUTOUT TO THE MANAGER PK! This is always a go-to place. Great service and great people. Today I ordered three items from the menu, Pad See Ew, Pad Thai, and Pad Kee Mao. I had a giftcard from DoorDash so I decided to use it this time, spending about $60. I picked it up the food and brought it home. Everything tasted great until I found a piece of plastic in it. Things happen so I understand. I decided to call Isarn Thai Kitchen and a manager picked up, completely apologizing for this matter and telling me that I can get a full refund but it would be on DoorDash since that was where I ordered. I called DoorDash, one of the worst services I've ever dealt with. Going through 3 different people, they all said "Unfortunately, out of Door Dash's policy, nothing will be refunded or credited back to you". I was so devastated, what do you mean plastic in my food doesn't deserve a single credit back or anything, what's craziest is that the Manager PK of Isarn Thai was fighting FOR ME. I called back Isarn Thai Kitchen, and the manager I spoke back to PK, was absolutely shocked and angry for me, and immediately called DoorDash instead to get them to refund me. After a couple calls, DoorDash calls saying that my items were under review. In the next 24 hours that I must wait, I will get an email whether it was accepted or rejected. A step forward, but still, are you serious? I called the Manager PK back, he was so furious for me and on my side. I plan on giving PK the manager an update, extremely great manager who was on the customer's side and continued to fight to doordash. I hope Doordash fixes this issue.

I tried for first time Isarn Thai soup kitchen for the first time. I ordered the following take out order. Phad kee Mao with sliced beef :5/5 Very delicious and tasty noodles. The beef were juicy and cooked perfectly. Perfect amount of spice and salt. Quantity was adequate and worth the price. Fire cracker jumbo prawns. :5/5 4 pieces of jumbo prawns. They were the best prawns I had in recent time. Very spongy and tasted extraordinary. A must try. Fried rice with pork - 4/5 The fried rice was good. No compliants. When compared to other two items I would say this lacks the unique flavor. Quantity is adequate. Ambiance : though I ordered takeout I liked the ambiance and see quiet lot of parties waiting which implies the restaurant is great for dining and serves tasty food. Parking might be an issue as it is roadside parking only available. Overall 5/5 Definitely must try restaurant for Thai food lovers.

I came because i heard the owner is the same as the owner of Kin Len (which has amazing thai food) but the food here doesn't compare. We wanted to try the prawns but they said they were out of that and recommended the deep fried beef. The deep fried beef was ok. It was just like a beef jerky with some sweet sour sauce. We also got the lamb massaman with roti which was pretty good in terms of flavor. Just really oily. The isarn thai fried rice was also pretty mid :(. The thai tea was a little too diluted for my liking as well. Overall the food was just ok but didn't live up to my expectations. Might come back to try other dishes that are popular but only if there isn't a wait or something.

Isarn is a beautiful restaurant with kind people and a great ambiance. I really enjoyed the vibe in here and the food was good! We came around 4:30 for an early dinner and there were plenty of open tables. I expected it to be completely empty but there were still a fair amount of people in the restaurant. We loved being able to sit by the windows to people walk/see a tiny bit of Lake Washington. For entrees we ordered the crying tiger and pad see ew. The steak was delicious and had great flavor! Although I would recommend ordering a side with it if you're real hungry. The pad see ew was nearly enough for us to split so no problem there. I ordered a level 1 on spice out of 0-3 and it wasn't spicy at all. I'll definitely get a level 2 next time. The noodles were delicious but it wasn't the best I've had on the eastside. Overall we will definitely return and I look forward to trying some of the other items on the menu!

Great food every time! Been here multiple times and have enjoyed it each visit. And each time, had to wait to get a table as it's super popular place. Three of us came on a Friday night just before 7PM and waited about 30 mins for a table. Beer selection is just okay. They had one IPA (Trickster) on draft. We started with lettuce wraps and they were unique with the variety of items to use in putting one together. My bride went with the Thai Tropical Curry with Salmon and really loved it. My son went with the Seafood Curry Custard and seemed to enjoy it. I ordered the Chu Chi Red Curry with cod and it was tasty and the cod was great....wish it would have had some additional ingredients (e.g. bamboo shoots, peppers or a vegi) Service was very friendly!

I've been here twice now, and unfortunately both experiences fell short. On my most recent order through DoorDash, I requested chicken pad thai at spice level two (out of three). Instead of being cooked into the dish, the spice came as a sprinkling of dry red pepper flakes on top, which made for an uneven experience--some bites overly harsh, others with no heat at all. To add to that, the pad thai only came with the smallest wedge of lime, definitely not enough to balance or brighten the dish. The cod curry had a decent base flavor, but the fish itself was overcooked and didn't taste particularly fresh. One thing to note: rice isn't included with curries, and jasmine rice is an extra $3.10. While the upcharge feels steep, the rice itself was surprisingly fragrant and well-prepared, easily one of the highlights of the meal. Service and packaging for delivery were fine, but overall the food execution left me unimpressed. It's safe to say I won't be trying this restaurant again.

Been here multiple times, and I think it was way too hyped for me prior to my visit, because both times, I thought it was solid but not outstanding. I don't really see myself returning before trying out other Thai spots, but I'm sure it would satisfy a Thai food craving if it were to hit. Food: The steamed squid in the lime soup (HH special): too (?) flavorful. The sweetness and sourness hit you nose-scrunchingly hard, and honestly we couldn't eat too much of the soup. Squid was cooked well. Crispy mussels omelette (HH special): very crunchy, chewy on the inside. The texture was great, but even with the sauce I was craving more flavor. Pad thai: HUGE, but pretty standard. Salty crab papaya salad: the salty crab didn't add too much to the salad, I thought, and I wouldn't recommend it if you don't like the fishy flavors. Hat yai fried chicken: big chonky portions, but it was just... fried chicken? Minced lamb: surprisingly was not a huge fan of this, it just tasted sorta generic and wasn't well-balanced. Chiang Mai curry noodles: probably my favorite dish. Loved the crunch noodles on top, and the curry had good flavor. Wish there were more protein in it, as the dish was predominantly noodle. Service/ambience: Service is pretty friendly, and the ambience is quite lively. There seems to usually be a wait at dinner time and on weekends, and you have to put yourself on the queue at the kiosk in front of the store. Paid parking lots nearby if you can't find street parking.

We did a walk-in around noon on Saturday and luckily there was no wait. It's right by the road and you can catch views of the lake, with overall chill vibes. Food was incredible, and everything we ordered is below. Honestly everything here was delicious so I don't think you can go wrong but some standouts to me were (1) lemongrass wings that were crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside without overpowering lemongrass flavor but also spiced thoroughly (2) pad see ew the noodles are so soft and flavorful really a staple (3) maprao pun drink is like a fragrant coconut slush that's not too sweet and makes you feel like you're on a b apps - crying tiger - $20 - lemongrass wings - $13.95 - thai green papayas salad - $13.5 main - crab fried rice - $21.1 - chicken pad see ew - $16 drinks - tropical passion - $6 - thai iced coffee - $5.75 - maprao pun - $12 dessert - mango sticky rice - $11

Great spot in Kirkland! Love the location and ambience. More on the causal side, but great food. Favorite: Mushroom Fritters (Definitely worth it!!) I have had better pad thai, but overall, I highly recommend it. Service is super friendly!

This was my second time here if you come expect a line, you will sign up over yelp, but they do not accept reservations in advance, except for very large groups. The food is unique very flavorful. Their spice level is modest. We ordered a spice level of two, which was really not very spicy at all. They only go up to the level three parking is on the street. There is a parking garage nearby

Stopped by for the lunch menu (available Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM-3:00 PM), It was busy for a Monday . We ordered the curry set, Pad Thai, and Hat Yai fried chicken. I was surprised by the generous portions since lunch sets are usually smaller. The Hat Yai chicken was perfectly cooked--crispy skin with juicy, tender meat. The Pad Thai was a bit sweeter than I prefer, but still flavorful. The chicken curry was amazing over rice. We even had enough leftovers to take home! Service was great and super friendly. Definitely a spot I'd return to.

Thursday, March 20, 2025 3 PM Food is always amazing! Usually there's a long line for lunch and dinner. We came midday, and got the best window seat. I wanted to try something different.. albeit, I got the chicken lettuce wraps.. I wish I would've changed it up because the lettuce was not all that great as you can see in the pictures. We did ask for more and they brought us a new slab of lettuce.. the seafood salad was good.. if you like, calamari, squid, etc.... I'm not one to eat it.. my husband loves seafood and said he wouldn't order it again. We took a looong time to order, we just were indecisive. They were patient with us and tentative with us. They have a full bar. They have wonderful gluten-free and vegan entrées. Clean and tidy. There's not a lot of parking on the street so you may have to park and walk. This is one of my favorite places.

Such a delicious neighborhood spot! It's always full and the vibe is Thai street food meets fancy brunching in Kirkland. It can get a bit loud during the busy times. So I wouldn't head here for an intimate and cozy conversation. But a great spot to get energized (and well fed). Happy Hour minced salad with pork was tangy, slightly spicy, vey flavorful. We tried almost everything from the HH menu, but that one stands out the most. And the wings. Yum yum!

We ordered Pad Kee Mao one with beef and one with shrimp. Both dishes tasted like dish soap! In addition, Pad Kee Mao comes with vegetables such as broccoli and carrots mixed with the wide noodles, but their food came with lots of noodles and almost no vegetables! Also, the meet had no flavour! The shrimp was ok...Overall the food was very bad and disappointing!

We came for happy hour and found seats at the bar. We ordered a sparkling Lychee and a Tuk Tuk Thai Tea for drinks. We like the jelly and lychee in the sparkling lychee and like the flavor profile of the Tuk Tuk Thai Tea. For food, we ordered the lemongrass wings, the papaya salad, and the oyster omelette. We enjoyed the wings and loved the kick that the papaya salad had. The oyster omelette was something we hadn't previously tried so we decided to try it that day. The portion came out bigger than anticipated and the taste and texture were nice. However, it's definitely a pretty heavy dish so after a few bites, it feels like quite a lot. The papaya salade helps balance it out a bit. We love that Isarn has happy hour every!

Isarn is a lovely brunch spot . The food was awesome and very flavorful. If you're looking for a place where you can't decide on a craving. This place has itI've been here twice after hot hike day and rainy day and food always hits the spot. Chiang Mai Curry Noodles: 5/5 stars - a cozy savory food that has the crunch! Northern Style Sweet Cury: 5/5 stars - recommend to eat with some rice -savory -reminds me of Filipino caldereta with a sweet tone to it! Crying Tiger: 4/5 stars - can be a bit salty - Tender with smokey flavor Thai Tropical Curry: 4/5 - light sweet curry with salmon -has grapes in it Services was okay! When they're busy, it can have long wait times They are also dog friendly but you will sit on their outside area! Great for summer days.

Went on a weekend evening. The place was packed but we went inside to place our name on the waitlist and got seated within 30 minutes. Once we were seated, we pretty quickly decided what we wanted to order. However, 15-20 minutes later, no one came to check in on us. I get your busy, but not to get a drink order or bring by any water or let us know someone will be with us shortly for 20 minutes was crazy. We had to go up to the front area and ask if someone was coming to get our order and they said someone would be with us shortly. In this regard, service was truly lacking. However, once we finally placed the order, food came out pretty quickly which was really surprising, in a good way. We were hungry and ready to eat! We got the chicken pad see ew, khao so, and northern style chicken, all made to the spiciest level. The northern style curry was sweeter than I thought it would be and wasn't that great. The pad see ew was just ok. The khao soi was probably the best dish we ordered. Overall, average Thai food. I've had better but can see myself coming back here on occasion.

Got lots of great Thai recommendations from my Dr.'s office and Isarn was our first one and it did not disappoint!! We got very lucky and found street parking right in front of the restaurant in downtown Kirkland( literally because we went at 4pm on a Tuesday ) Restaurant was not super busy due to the off hours we visited. Service was very friendly and speedy. Restaurant has a nice vibe, def good for date night! We ordered Fried rice with Chinese sausage (SO GOOD), phad kee mao, chiang mai curry noodles, and stir fry squid with salted egg yolk. Highly recommend the fried rice and pad kee mao, super delicious. The chicken that comes with the chiang mai curry noodles was extremely tender and delicious. The stirfry squid and egg yolk was not spicy though. In fact, none of the dishes were spicy enough even though we ordered their max spiciness level at 3 stars...typically if you ask for something that exceeds the standard spice level they should be able to accommodate but the server was hesitant and told us we couldn't ‍ that was the only bummer part.

First time dining at Isarn Thai Soul Kitchen and what a delight! The lunchtime crowd was lively and friendly. The servers were helpful and attentive. And the food? Incredible. It has been a long time since I left a restaurant feeling 110% satisfied. Unique dishes prepared well. Enjoy!

Not your everyday Thai restaurant you know pad Thai or cashew chicken ya da ya da nope not here. Not a conventional Thai restaurant. I don't know what the ---/ every body ordered. It was good trust me I had fried rice w Chinese sausage yummy stteame cabbage with mushrooms. The waitresses were extremely helpful. Yes the menu is different here. Mother's Day surprise great job.

This is a really cool spot. 2nd time here. I brought a whole group after church and they took great care of us! It almost feels like you've been transported to Asia. The menu is very unique and not like your typical american-thai cuisine. I've never been to Thailand but I've eaten alot of Thai food and never encountered a food experience quite like Isarn! The servers do not mention anythign but the dishes are set up in a bit of a family-style, sharing type of way. Though the food has a higher price point, the portions are huge. We all shared and I still had a full meal to take home for later. I wasn't feeling the best so I ordered a big bowl of soup and I had 1/2 of the dish left to take home. Bonus, they lost one order in translation and comp'd us another dish for free. Great service! PLEASE BEWARE that the heat levels are F*CKING HOT!! I think I got a 2** and it was literally too hot to handle. I took my spicy dish home and thinned it out a bit for amazing leftovers. I highly reccomend Isarn!

I've came here more than a few times now for lunch with my team and happy hour with my coworkers. Everything I've tried has been delicious. They have some unique dishes that you don't find at most Thai restaurants. Great deals during happy hour. Service is great; staff is very friendly.

Dropped by for dinner on a weeknight and there still was a line. Would suggest to get on the waiting list. They will not seat you until you have your full party. We ordered the eggplant salad- it came with ground chicken? And the salad was the eggplant part. Also order the curry noodle. It was so so flavorful. This was such an amazing dish. The noodles were still crispy and the chicken was fully infused with the curry sauce. The sides of pickle paired perfectly with the curry dish. We also ordered pad see ewe to go. Really appreciate that i wasn't overly priced. Location was great in downtown kirkland which is close to the water. Can't wait to come back. You don't have a single waiter but they are all happy to help if you get their attention.

With the density of Thai restaurants in Seattle, each person can pick their own favorite. For me, it's Isarn Thai Soul Kitchen! Walking in, Thai music filled the air, and the decorative wall shelves brought back childhood memories. If you haven't tried Isarn Thai food (from Northern Thailand), it's packed with warming spices like ginger, onion, & garlic. The Kao Soy was amazing! The spicy squid in lime soup was adventurous (warning: it's sour!), Chiang Mai sausage was good (though a bit dry), and the Somtum was delicious! The lamb skewers were okay, but pricey. Overall, I'll definitely be back.

Isarn Thai Soul Kitchen has been on my to try restaurants for some time, and I thought it would be a great opportunity to pay this place a visit on a nice summer day! We went to to Isarn on a Saturday around 2pm and had no wait time to get seated. Isarn is located near the downtown Kirkland area, so parking may be slightly harder on busier days. We were able to find street parking nearby, around a 3 minute walk to the restaurant. I would say that the service on the day that we went was slow, after we were seated, we didn't really get our waters till about 10 minutes in and had to gesture to a server to get our orders taken. I thought maybe its because the lunch rush was over and the servers wanted a quick break? I also ordered a cocktail, but it never came - luckily we were not charged for it. I thought the service here was pretty mediocre/leaning not good in terms of a sit down restaurant. The ambiance is nice though, there are decorations throughout the restaurant and its neat that on hot summer days that they open the larger restaurant doors so some seats can be laid out halfway outside - it really opens up the atmosphere. We ordered a couple of items, which I'll review down below: Fresh Cracked Coconut ($11): Wanted something refreshing on a hot summer's day, and what is more cooling than coconut water? As novel as having a fresh cracked coconut in Seattle is, I don't think that this should have been $11! I have tried a couple more restaurants since the time of this review and noticed that you can get cracked coconut for $5-$7 at other restaurants. I would suggest skipping this unless you're really in the mood for coconut water. Mushroom Fritters ($11): Pretty tasty Lamb Massamun with Roti ($22): The curry was delicious, had nice deep and strong hitting spice flavor, and good flavor and thickness from the coconut milk. I would say that the lamb was more on the dryer and tougher side than other similar curries that I have tried which wasn't as pleasing. If you were to eat the curry on it's own, it definitely leans on the saltier side. But it is very nice with the Roti, which had excellent flaky crispiness and soft slightly doughiness in the middle which is scrumptious. Though you will run out the roti very fast on a singular order. I would say portion size-wise this will definitely fill most people up, so if you are hungry, I would recommend this entree. I paid about $44 for everything that you see here - which is a decent price given the quantity and quality of everything that you see here. I think my main critique is that I wasn't satisfied with the service at all here - the servers were basically non-existent, and we had to flag them down to order, get more water, pay our bill, etc. I was thinking of ordering a dessert option here, but gave up after the missing cocktail and continuous flagging to order and get what we wanted here. I would say if I were to revisit, I would skip dining in, and just order to-go.

Quite possibly the best Thai food in the area! Much more flavorful and interesting than "normal Thai food"

The food was amazing. It wasn't cheap, but it was well worth it. Great service a little bit of a weight. I would recommend it. They have a full bar too if you like to have alcohol with your. Food.

One of the best Thai food I've had in the states. Love the crying tiger steak, we asked for medium rare but because the steak was not even in thickness so we got all kinds of doneness but it was well marinated so it didnt matter and was still tender. Also loved the mushroom fritters and grilled pork jowl. Also highly recommend the curry custard. The lemongrass wings and durian sticky rice were pretty good too. Wished the lemongrass smell was stronger. The durian was warm which is new to me but it was good for sharing. The so so would be the crab fried rice because the rice was kind of soggy and not separated. Not as fragrant as well. Overall still one of the best Thai food I've been to so would love to come back another time.

Service was good! And food was excellent! Generous entree portions. We brought half of our food home and were not light eaters. We don't gorge but we don't eat off of small plates. Highly recommend the pork jowl soup with gai lan. One bowl and a small bowl of rice is truly enough for two. It's satisfying and filling. Comfort food for sure!

I absolutely love Thai food and love everything Issarn has on the menu! The pad see ew is not dry at all and has amazing flavor. I also recommend the curry and many of the appetizers there. The restaurant is very clean and decorated very nicely. In the summer when it's hot out, they open the garage-like door so you can get a nice breeze and look at the street!

We went here for new year. It's a beautiful warm cozy ambience and you can get the seat very quickly. The service was super fast too. But even though they serve some of the best thai food, this place was not for me. Thai papaya salad had fish sauce in it which I had allergy from. I wish the person taking order would have asked me. For the red curry, wild salmon had a very raw taste, which again was difficult to eat for me. All these things were not very clear from the menu and ultimately I wasted my order. Yes, but thai coffee and chicken wings were superr good.

4.5 Stars I love this chain. There is a combination of unique, authentic dishes and your classic (pad thai, pad see ew, etc.). They really nail the flavors on everything. Phuket Pork Belly Stew ($16.5) - delicious with large, fatty pieces of protein. Coconut Drink ($14.5) - Delicious and fun, served in a coconut so you can scoop the meat out afterwards. Beautiful interior, loved the ladies on the staff :)

Loved the food and quick service, the food at Isarn Thai is great as usual and the ambiance and service at the Kirkland location was great.

Great authentic food. Great prices! Great location. Hard working staff. Tiki makes you great cocktails at the bar. They have a great whiskey selection too. Good Scotch (MACALLAN 12 & 15) and Japanese Whiskey (Hibiki). They have been very nice to me. PK is very respectful. The fish dishes and fried rice are what I usually order.

Good food options but too busy and smoke from cars on the street in the summer, the place is literally on the road

food is very good . HOWEVER, the business owner needs to be let you know that when you get your bill, there is ALREADY A 9% TIP added to your bill. then the next screen shows you the tip suggestions of 18%- 20% -25% . so if you tip 18% , that's actually 9% + 18% = 27%. 20% + 9% = 29% 25%+ 9% = 34% this is pretty sneaky. the restaurant show disclose this

I've been to Isarn countless times and their food is always solid. Tonight we got lucky and found space at the bar. I had a new special cocktail made with chili infused tequila and some fruit (can't remember) but it was delicious and the presentation was on point. Our food arrived super quickly! We had the red curry beef and chicken pad see ew. Delish!

Isarn is my go-to Thai food. First for the authentic northeastern Thai cuisine. I usually get Papaya Salad or Som Tum, with Chiangmai Sausage and sticky rice. Phad Thai and Phad Siew is great too! Sticky rice with Mango in the summer time! Great atmosphere and courteous staff. Book early because they're always filled with patrons.

SO GOOD. 100% reasonable prices, fast service and plenty of food. I went to the Queen Anne location (will be reposting this review for that location too) on Saturday and then was completely ok with going back again to the Kirkland location on Wednesday! I think they recommend family style but both times we just did individual because different dietary restrictions around the table and I had enough food to take home and have for lunch the next day. Also got drinks for happy hour the sparkling lychee and tuk tuk thai tea and those were good

I really loved the egg yolk and squid dish. Squid wasn't chewy and was super tender. I liked how the saltiness of the egg balanced out with the spiciness. The wings were also very good - crispy and had just enough dry rub. Also vibes were great - lots of energy and friendly staff. 10/10 recommend

Service: Relatively friendly. Tables: They seem slightly on the smaller end, especially fitting 5 people around a 4 person table. We ordered 5 dishes and it felt like we were eating at the very corners of the table. Ambiance: It's very very loud in here, likely from the music, leading to everyone shouting at each other. It was really difficult to hear anyone. Oddly enough the music choice didn't seem fitting at all either. Food: Vegan eggplant and tofu: very strong charred grill type taste. It's kept in long mushy strips, so it's a bit hard to serve and share. Definitely different than the chinese typical preparation of eggplant and tofu. Vegan pad thai: Presentation is great, but on the sweeter end, without a strong depth of flavor. Roti prata: very oily and flakey texture Durian sticky rice: This was aggressively sweet, it tasted like the durian was soaked in sugar, it was a bit hard to eat. It also looked very different than pictures, didn't seem like as much durian as was shown.

Service was so bad! No utencils. I even gave her a tip, rude service...hot inside, crowded, feels like street eating with hotel price.

Delicious food! I went with my cousin while on a work trip and it was very good. The food was delicious and although the restaurant is indoors all of the windows/doors were open so it gave the feel of being outdoors. The menu was large but we opted for the papaya salad and I had the pad see ew with tofu. The papaya salad can be spicy so we didn't get any spice with it. The pad see ew was delicious - noodles were soft and everything was very good! The only downside to the restaurant is that parking is difficult. I had to circle a few times before finding parking on a side street. There are some parking garages but most seem to be for apartment complexes. I'd recommend carpooling if you try this spot!
