Can't believe this is the first time we are finding out about this place. Place was quiet when we visited around 6:15pm. Plenty of seats available. Service was great and welcoming. Ordered quite a variety of different food (grilled some items and sushi). Everything was so good. The grilled sweet potatoes in butter and salt was awesome. The grilled pork (buta something) was really good too. More expensive that your sushi tei but definitely worth it. Will be coming back for sure.

I have been to this restaurant more than 10 times. It’s authentic and delicious, and I especially recommend the sashimi and seasonal fish. I forgot to ask his name, but the male staff member with glasses spoke Japanese and provided very friendly service, which was wonderful. The food is always delicious, and this is one of my favorite restaurants.

The food is really delicious and fresh. I ordered the set that had many tasters so I could try more of their dishes. The prices are not cheap but at least the set is more value for money. The service is amazing. Staff were very attentive and friendly. We sat outside (mall) and it didn’t feel cramp as inside was slightly more claustrophobic. A chill place to catch up with friends.

We ordered a roll to share, pretty sure the waitress heard us as she repeated what I said. At the end of our meal, we checked and she said it wasn’t added to our order, no apology whatsoever. She continued to serve food to other tables before finally adding it to our order. Waited another 20 mins for them to make it. Water glasses constantly left empty. Have to keep asking them to refill. Food and atmosphere are good but service could be improved.

Exciting restaurant for adventurous Japanese cuisine lovers with no seafood allergy. We took the 10pax private dining room, spacious and private and spent approx 1k for an awesome dining experience for 9 adults with 3 bottles of sake and dessert. We had sashimi, awesome pork belly and grilled iberico pork. That’s a must have. We had chicken meat balls on a stick and those were delicious. The menu items were generally exquisite and there were seasonal options. It’s definitely an experience, and I heard the lunch set menu is v worth it.

Been a regular here for a while, and I have never ever been disappointed dining in there. This hidden gem is tucked away at the basement of Palais Renaissance, and to date, it ranks as my all-time favourite Japanese restaurant. Their set lunches provide good value without comprising on quality at various price points depending on what you feel like having while dinner is equally amazing with teppanyaki and a wide selection of a la carte items along with seasonal items directly from Japan. The owners, Mr Chi and Janice, with the latter also a master sake sommelier, along with their team, always deliver on a delightful dining experience and top-notch sake recommendations. Can't recommend this place enough.

Yelp
Might be a good place chill and dine with friends here... they do have a very good service attitudes, and friendly smile. When come to the food quality, I think soso only.

Yelp
A hidden gem. High quality Japanese food at Orchard Road. I took the family here for a Saturday dinner and we really enjoyed the premium assorted sashimi, the grilled salmon belly (sake harasu), and a variety of yakitori skewers (tsukune, butabara, satsumaage). All delicious. We'll be coming back!

Yelp
下に日本語解説いれてます。 There are so many Japanese Restaurants in town, difficult to see which ones are originals. Well, I was quite surprised to find this one to be a true one, and quite reasonable considering the quality. Definitely going there again. One thing is they tend to bring things together. 2015/11

Yelp
Be careful this place will rip you off. The tuna sashimi I had was priced at $70 this was not revealed before I ordered, beware of the iPad menu. The food is not that good and I believe there is better Japanese in the area. Avoid if possible.
