Came here mainly for the famous beef bun after seeing it online. It looked amazing, but honestly it didn’t quite hit for me. Not bad at all — just not what I expected. A bit too greasy, slightly undercooked for my taste (maybe I should’ve asked for it to be cooked more), and way too juicy to eat, in my opinion. Friendly warning: if you’re not careful, it can literally explode all over the table on the first bite 😅
On the other hand, the beef fried noodles were a total win for me. Super flavorful, a little on the heavy side, but that’s exactly how I like them.
Quick tip for first-timers: the bowl of water they bring at the start is for rinsing/dampening your chopsticks and spoon — and they’ll take it back fast if you don’t use it right away.
Also important: cash or Octopus only, no credit cards. There are a couple of banks nearby, but better to come prepared.
Worth a visit imho 👍🏼
