Who doesn't love free tastings! If you're looking for a deep dive into the process, this isn't it, but the spirits they do have are not bad. Definitely worth a stop. We ended up ordering the frozen key lime pie without a topper. It was so refreshing! We hung out in the patio area and that was nice. We would definitely come back for the bushwater next time. It was like a boozy Wendy's frosty, but a bit heavy after lunch. Otherwise, that was stellar.

We had a great time at Islamorada Brewery & Distillery! We did a beer tasting flight and tried Sandbar Sunday, No Tanlines, Local Color, and Go Fish — all of them were super tasty and refreshing. The vibe of the place is really cool and relaxed, and our bartender Jesse was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She made sure we had everything we needed and explained the beers really well. Great service, delicious drinks — we’d absolutely come back again!

Google
We stopped for some food and drinks on our way down the Keys. The beer was very good but the smoked fish dip was outstanding!! We sat outside on the shady picnic tables. They also have in door seating. You have to stop at the distillery for a free tasting, which is very fun, educational and good spirits. Did I mention how good the smoked fish dip is? Fresh homemade chips, Incredible! The pretzel was also good.

Kris Nelson

Google
Awesome brewery/distillery with a great vibe. The beers were good and the staff was great. They do free tastings at the distillery and flights at the brewery. The outside area is perfectly beachy and a great place to hang out.

Google
I’ve been coming here since they opened. The staff here are so welcoming. Tuesday night trivia is the best in town. Stand outs are Makayla she’s always so nice to us and our pup. She’s been there quite a while and Jake . He made us the cutest espresso martini with our dogs name and face . They are so attentive and just all around great here! The beers are great and so are the other drinks.

Google
We met some friends here while Jake on the Lake played live. The atmosphere was chill and laid back. We sat out back by their stage and caught up while our kids played. The staff was chill and accommodating. The drinks were cold and the food was delicious.

Google
Went to Islamorada brewery last night had a drink which was delicious. We went on to try another place that had horrible service and ended up back at Islamorada brewery where Miguel took excellent care of us. He let us sample drinks so we could make a decision. He checked on us throughout the night to make sure we were having fun and our cups were full! Great customer service Miguel! We will be back next time we come down.

Casey Barnes

Google
The liquors here were absolutely amazing and incredibly unique. The food was exactly what you need when visiting a distillery/ brewery. The service was amazing. Every bartender and employee was incredibly engaging and kind. We even had our bartender defend other customers from an aggressive iguana outside. CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH!!

Yelp
A great place to perch on your drive down Rt. 1. Great indoor and outdoor seating. There are very clean restrooms. There are games outside, as well as picnic tables and bar height chairs. Lots of shade too. Inside and outside is a full service bar with a good cocktail menu featuring their own spirits. They do flights of cocktails and of beers. There is a great variety of drink options. Don't skip the frozen key lime cocktail with graham cracker rim. There is a food truck that has great selections of full size meals and snacks. The Mahi Mahi sandwich, fish dip, and pretzel (it's huge) were all delightful. The pork ends with BBQ sauce and the Mac and cheese were good choices as well. Everything we ordered was pretty good and fairly priced. Inside is a great merchandise area and a to go store featuring their beers, spirits (distillery is on one side), and pre made drinks in pouches. A great place to swing by if you are heading to a gathering or to have drink options in your hotel. The service was excellent and they were very friendly. Also they took their time explaining their drinks and the options available, as well as the food. Wishing we had a brewery like this at home! Great place to chill, relax, and just enjoy life.

Yelp
So happy we made a pit stop here on our way back home! I had tried their gin at one of the local establishments & knew I had ti pick up a bottle on the way home. The brewery is vibrant & has some dishes served up on site. They had their Perfect Key Lime Pie Martini as a tasting & I was blown away at how delicious this sip was!!! Key West Summer in a glass!!! Brought home a bottle of their bourbon & honestly it's not your Bulleit or Jim Beam but it sure is a summer sipping bourbon you must try!!!

Jenna S.

Yelp
Easily one of my favorite breweries both on and off Key. True island vibe with a brewery and distillery plus a huge (dog friendly) patio out back! Located in Islamorada this brewery has tons of beer options and a newly updated menu. Sadly we did not eat here, but the pork belly bites and island style crab cakes sounded amazing. I suggest trying the frozen key like pie with graham crust coated rim. Since it is November I got a pint of Pumpkey (served with a sugar rim). If you are driving to the Keys, chances are you are driving through Islamorada. Celebrate being on "Island time" and stop here to grab a pint.

Martha C.

Yelp
Really fun stop on the way back north, because we had experienced their hibiscus gin in a cocktail in key west. This small craft distillery has a friendly vibe and honor their locals with pricing. A brief tasting in the distillery sealed the deal for taking some of the hibiscus gin home as well as some of the "adult capri suns" from the freezer case. Who knew a frosty key lime pie cocktail would be so good! The back of the shop has a food truck and bar with plenty of lounge seating and space for big people, small folks, and furry friends.

Shawn A.

Yelp
Stopped by here for lunch before heading out to the Sandbar last Sunday. Ending up being the perfect place for lunch and drinks. We sat outside while our 5 year old daughter had fun with all the games in the beer garden. I ordered a flight of 6 different beers and cocktails. Their Key Lime Colada frozen cocktail is wayy too good. I could drink those all day. For food we got the Korean pork belly bites, the chicken tenders and the conch fritters all of which were good. The bartenders and everyone that works there is super friendly and attentive. I even got to enjoy a quick tasting of all the spirits they make there. On the way out, they have cold beers and to go cocktails which were perfect for the sandbar. Will definitely be back on our next trip to Islamorada.

Alyssa Y.

Yelp
A nice stop with a fun vibe. We visited when it was a high chance of rain and some passing showers so the inside was completely packed. We took a gamble and ventured out back where there was plenty of room and tables. There was a second bar and food truck. We lucked out and stayed dry the entire time we were there. We ordered a few items from the food truck to share and a few drinks. All were very good. If we were staying in the area longer, this likely would've been a repeat spot for us to visit.

Gary L.

Yelp
Outstanding waiters and waitresses and bartenders! Personality abounds. No Tanline Tuesday! Options are wonderful. Floridian is great pumpkin also outstanding. A must stop on your exploration of the Keys.

Kyli W.

Yelp
The beer is really good. The mixed drinks are average. It takes quite awhile to snag a drink even when they aren't busy. We came and it was so sadly underwhelming. We love their beer and were really excited to stop in and try some at the brewery - but it just fell flat for us.

Shikira H.

Yelp
If you're in the Keys, a stop at Islamorada Brewery is a must! The outdoor garden area is great, and the indoor space with TVs is perfect for catching some AC and a game. They even have a retail store with some great merch. We couldn't resist picking up their famous premade pirate punch to take home--it was definitely worth it! I also heard their lavender lemonade is delicious. It was a quick visit, but we'll definitely be back next time we're in the area!

Daren R.

Yelp
Finished up our Jeep run and went to Islamorada Brewery. View to the distillary and on premise craft brew and spirits. We tried the fresh Hoppy which was very good. They had a taste test in progress which had rum, vodka and gin. Very busy Saturday will all tables full with customers. They have a cool gift store with shirts and canned brew for sale.

Karen P.

Yelp
My husband had a Channel Marker IPA at another restaurant in the Keys and wanted to visit the brewery to try their beers. The brewery is a pretty great spot. Large indoor seating area split into a couple of sections. The brewery is attached to the distillery. There is also a gift job with fridges to buy some of their premixed cocktails. There is also a large outdoor beer garden with a stage for live music. We didn't eat so I can't speak to the food, but we loved almost everything we drank. We stopped in the distillery first and tasted the vodka, dark rum, and spiced rum. I don't typically enjoy drinking liquor straight, but the vodka was especially smooth. My husband really enjoyed the spiced rum so we bought a bottle. The distillery bartender was very friendly and explained all the liquors to us. We then went to the brewery and ordered flights. My husband got a beer flight, and I got a cocktail flight made with the distillery's liquors. I love that I could get cocktails at a brewery. They were all pretty fantastic, but my favorites were the lavender lemonade and the frozen key lime pie. Honestly, the key lime pie drink was exceptional. They also make their own shots, and a server comes around periodically with them. Make sure to try the peanut butter chocolate shot - so good! We found out they have another location in Fort Pierce, and that is a little bit closer so we might try that location out too!

Richlyn R.

Yelp
Makayla, Anna, Lauren, and Doug were great! Makayla had some great recommendations, the frozen key lime adult beverage was my favorite! Doug sold us a hibiscus gin (way better than the empress gin). Definitely will be coming back and you need to stop here if you are in the area. The chicken tenders were really good too. May your seas be calm, and tanks full, Richlyn and Chris

Kara M.

Yelp
Fun spot with live music, outdoor seating and games. We tried two seasonal beers (chocolate peppermint and spiced ale) and really enjoyed both. The food truck was a little pricey but good and nice to have food options available.

John H.

Yelp
We stopped in to try their beers and did a few flights and pints, thumbs up. But let this Yelper tell you, you HAVE to get their Frozen Key Lime Pie. (It's a drink not a piece of pie.). It is JUST like drinking a Key Lime Pie - out of this world. We went back more than once as we travelled the Overseas Hwy!! Ask them and they will give you the recipe.

Joe Y.

Yelp
We almost didn't stop because we were looking for food and they only have a "food truck". That isn't really a fair description..it is more like a permanent kitchen on the patio that looks like a food truck. You order at the bar and then they text you when your food is ready, Also, there is a giant patio area with some covered seating out back. When we first went inside, it looked packed but we found the patio. We ordered the giant pretzel, some fish dip, and a couple of burgers. The pretzel was a hit with my kids. The burgers were good as well.My partner got a beer sampler and I had the pirate punch. It was really good and not too boozy. Overall, I would definitely come here again.

Jimi J.

Yelp
Great local brewery. The staff knew their products and were helpful, but not burdensome. Lovely location with just the right atmosphere. Bright and vibrant and inviting. We enjoyed the tasting presented to us...and even the ones that we would pick ourselves we enjoyed trying as a suggestion by the house.

Courtnay B.

Yelp
Stopped by on the drive down to the keys. Lavender lemonade is delicious! Husband ordered a flight with the frozen key lime pie which is a must try here! We sat inside but walked outside and the beer garden has great vibes. Def recommend a stop on your drive through the keys.

Mike Z.

Yelp
Stopped here on a recent road trip down to Key West. Plenty of bar and table seats available inside and outside. Beer was great. The teriyaki chicken wrap from their food truck outside was delicious. They have the brewery part but then also a small distillery area off of it. Make this stop if you are driving down the keys.

Ericka G.

Yelp
Stopped here after a fabulous day in the Keys. Just wanted to relax before the drive home and got a refreshing drink. We made ourselves through the main entrance to the back garden. there was a bar, food truck, a stage, and picnic like seating with a cool cold spritz spraying. I wasn't in the mood for there beer but friend ordered one that she said was delicious. I had a banana passion fruit daiquiri with spiced rum (the daiquiri is a virgin so you add whatever alcohol you like). It was refreshing and truly tasty on a hot and humid day. There were games like jenga dn connect floor to keep.patrons entertained and music played in the speakers above. We noticed they have different listing's of festivities on different days but we came on a relaxing Saturday..I would highly recommend coming here and enjoying the relaxing vibes

John R.

Yelp
Nice brewery experience. A great outdoor area to sip, eat and relax. I believe there is an indoor option as well, but I did not explore that. Order up your flights, pours, or food at the bar, and they will either bring you your flight or you can walk up to the food truck when your food pager goes off. The beer is slightly above average, so don't come here looking to be blown away by the brews. Instead, come for the ambience and service. Matthew was brilliantly attentive behind the bar when I was there. The one single thing I would say that could change this experience greatly is to get the beer flights out of the plastic cups. This is craft beer. This is about the taste and the nuances of the craft. You shouldn't be tasting plastic as part of the experience.

Emily B.

Yelp
Love the mocktail options. Found a spot in the sun on the patio. And the service was great, thanks Jake!

Dale

Yelp
We were heading to key west from a wedding in Miami and this place was highly recommended for a beer and a snack to break up the drive. It was raining mid afternoon so the place was packed. The beer was excellent- each of us had a different one! 10 minutes in and Crystal stopped by to ask how everything was. She was super knowledgeable about the beers and spirits production processes so we suspected she was more than a server. Turns out she's one of the head brewmasters! So glad she cares enough to walk the floor and talk to the patrons! We are disappointed that we can't get Islamorada beer in Arizona!

Lauren M.

Yelp
I tried 5 of their brews and 2 of their mixed drinks (one frozen/ one iced) and I would buy all of them again. We even called a friend who didn't come to join us for the frozen key lime drink.

Jaimie D.

Yelp
This is such a cool spot! Large selection of drinks including their own brewed beer, spirits, cocktails and frozen treats. The bartenders are great, super personable and explain the experience. Free tasting of their spirits available in the distillery (attached to the back of the bar). You can also sample beer, frozen drinks from the bar. They offer indoor and outdoor seating as well as a few seats at the bar. Outside on the patio they have picnic tables, Adirondack chairs and tables, lots of shade, food truck with yummy bites, and lawn games. They offer live music on certain evenings (check instagram for schedule). We could have EASILY spent most of our day and evening here but sadly had to return our bikes. If you're looking for a cool, low-key vibe to hang, this is your spot! Bonus - dog friendly 4 out of 5 only for pricing.

M T.

Yelp
We stopped in for a few drinks. We got an espresso martini which was strong but tasted good. We also got a few flights and all the drinks we tried also had good flavors. Butch was great and very helpful.

Melissa M.

Yelp
The outdoor area is so great (i actually didn't even go indoors at all). There are so many games outside (cornhole, connect 4, beer pong) and a food truck and the vibes are so high on a nice day. My friend and I opted for flights (tasters with 4 choices) and love that you can mix beer and frozen drinks in one flight, while our husbands got full beers. The bartender was so helpful in narrowing down what to get based on our preferences and it was much appreciated. We didn't get any food as we had dinner plans, but I would recommend you try the key lime pie frozen drink it was great!

Matthew H.

Yelp
We popped in for dinner tonight on a rainy Wednesday. We sat at the bar and promptly ordered our food. While we were waiting, we were approached by two employees, Chris and Makayla brought us a drink that Chris had made because he is currently in training. The drink is called the Rum Scooter and it is delicious (AKA could be very dangerous ) Chris definitely passed with flying colors! I had the chicken tenders with fries and Mindy had the Wild Style with onion rings. Both were very delicious. My tenders were hot and juicy. I opted for the hot sauce instead of the ranch which really set them off. Mindy's meal was equally delicious. She really liked the onion rings and got the chipotle aioli sauce. It was a perfect pairing. The staff was very friendly and talkative but did not interrupt Mindy and I's privacy. We talked about different local businesses and where to go as well as not go. Overall we had a wonderful experience and definitely recommend stopping by when traveling in Islamorada!

Glenn R.

Yelp
We vacation in Marathon each year between Christmas and New Year and are so grateful we discovered Islamorada Brewery & Distillery. What a great place to relax and enjoy an adult beverage! Outback, you can sit outside in a relaxing and comfortable environment. There's an outside bar, a food truck, games, and plenty of shaded seating. Every so often, a server would come around with a variety of shots that you can choose to enjoy. I tried a couple, and they were very delicious. I was glad to try something new. You can also go inside and take a tour of the distillery; this is the place to sample and buy the liquors made and offered by the company. I especially appreciated the efforts of bartender Caitlyn. Very pleasant, knowledgeable, and speedy. I was very impressed that she tended bar, played some games with a younger patron, and even spruced up the bathroom! In addition, she kept an eye on the seating area and would frequently walk around and bus dirty dishes and clean up. What a star employee! After sampling different beers (flights), I found one I like and settled in for the day. I am not a huge craft beer fan, so I was pleased that I found one that agreed with my palate. Whatever your personal taste is, you will find something delightful at the Islamorada Brewery & Distillery. Enjoy a cocktail or beer or something yummy from the food truck - and appreciate life in their paradisiacal "backyard" atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!

Steve C.

Yelp
Ducked in to get Boozy and it was amazing, here's why; * Excellent service from Kristin. What a great energy and vibe she has, made us stay longer and spend more dough ray me. Jimmy and Butch are keepers too. * Tasty beers and full liqour bar, distilled here. Money. * Food truck on the back patio. Excellent fish dip. See pics. * Cool merch. * Dog friendly. * Smokers (cough) welcome. See you there, Cabeza Out!!

Kim L.

Yelp
We stopped by to check out the distillery; have been here before and the team is great as is the booze! We didn't have food, and we didn't purchase anything but totally enjoyed the tasting - even went for the reserve rum - yum! I could easily sit here for hours - very comfy spot.

Alison M.

Yelp
This was a fun stop on our brewery day in the keys. We were immediately invited to the rum tasting which was a fun experience. After rum tasting we went to the bar where we were encouraged to try samples of what we wanted and I settled on the frozen key lime pie cocktail. It was delicious. We place our order for some food and went out back to the great beer garden. There were a bunch of picnic tables, beach chairs, outdoor games and a venue for live music out back. The back garden is great for families and dogs. We enjoyed our time sitting in the sun, having some great drinks, enjoyed some food from the food truck and had good conversation with others that were there.

Juanita L.

Yelp
Absolutely loved our drinks here and the staff was even better! Makayla made us some of the best cocktails! Would 100% recommend!

Michael M.

Yelp
Matt and Megan we're an outstanding dual behind the bar. We came in for a tasting and ended up having a whole experience. We absolutely love to this place, enjoyed their suggestions on other ways to use their distillery products and will definitely be revisiting. They're warm and welcoming environment and super casual yet charming decor allows you to feel comfortable and friendly. We plan to come back and enjoy the food, which looked amazing. However, we had somewhere else we had to be for lunch and could not stay. Come in and enjoy some free tasting, and stay long enough to enjoy some tasty noshes as well.

Krista J.

Yelp
Two words: BEER GARDEN What a fun spot! Great location, great space, great drinks. There's a distillery room to try some spirits, a main bar area full of board games and card games, a little store with T-shirts and also beer-to-go, and then the back area which is the hidden gem. We happened to go on a quiet Thursday afternoon so it wasn't super crowded, but there was still some really nice live music. The vibe was chill and we really enjoyed spending an hour with some of the "Go Fish" beer. The only challenge is the parking situation...but know there are more spots around the side and back. Happy (and Responsible) Drinking!

Drew D.

Yelp
We enjoyed the large selection of beers offered. The patio is huge and a fun place to hang out with friends. The bar staff were not only friendly, they were down right having fun. We liked it so much we went twice during our vacation.

Alexandra L.

Yelp
LOVED THIS PLACE! This was such a great place to visit! We had the channel marker and the no wake zone and we both loved our drinks! They also come around outside with shots (for 5 dollars)! We loved the peach ring shot and the coconut. The ambiance is great there is good indoor and outdoor seating! They have outdoor games and a stage! The bathrooms were also very clean. Definitely recommend this spot!

Life With L And M.

Yelp
This was amazing brewery! Love the food, beer and the atmosphere. The staff was great for recommendations.

Ashley S.

Yelp
Get the frozen key lime pie and the lobster corn dogs. Game over! But first get the free liquor tasting in the back!!! The gin is really unique and changes colors with tonic water! Fun party trick! The outdoor patio is a really cool hangout spot!!

Anton E.

Yelp
Amazing drinks - get the build-your-own flight. Check out the distillery next door, too.

Ben A.

Yelp
During our cross country road trip from Los Angeles to Key West, I grabbed a couple of Islamorada Brewery sixers at a Publix-- a Coconut Key Lime and a Channel Marker IPA. Both were really refreshing and creative. On our way down to Key West, we spotted the actual Brewery and made a pit stop. While I would have loved to enjoy their laid-back facilities, garden atmosphere, and too many beers on tap to continue driving my family and a trailer, we did grab a few more beers to go, and added them to the cooler. I had to get a little creative with parking, as I said... I was towing a 25 foot trailer behind my truck, but once I was stopped, I found this place to be very nice. I would love to spend a little more time here, preferably within walking distance of wherever I was staying in Islamorada.

Brielle P.

Yelp
Great place to stop for a cold beer while in the Florida Keys. We love to stop here on our way to Key West to grab some drinks to bring with us. They are dog friendly which is awesome! the bartender outside even brought our pup some water and later one of the chefs brought out some bacon. So cute and a kind gesture. It was so hot on the day we visited so we didnt stay long but they have mist fans going outside to help cool you down. We ordered lunch (burger and fries) and enjoyed it at one of the picnic tables out back. Something was severely wrong with the fries on our latest visit - like the oil they were fried in was bad or old - so we didn't eat too many but the burger was fantastic. the vibe here is so chill and island life - we love it!

Wendy A.

Yelp
Oh my God, we have the best time at this place. We spent two hours here. First we started with the rum, Gin, and vodka tasting at their distillery. Craig was amazing as he told us everything about the process of their gin, rum, and vodka Creation. We tried so many different ones and we love them. Oh my favorite was the first rum that we had wow. They also have seating areas for the brewery where they sell beer and food inside and outside. We decided to go outside and sit in the beer garden. They had live music. There was a food truck or two and there was a bar outside. We got a beer and enjoy the nice weather, and wonderful company. I can't wait to go back to this place!

Christy G.

Yelp
Amazing. Food is in the back in a food truck with Cornhole and beer pong. The key lime drink is amazing!!

Jess B.

Yelp
Don't let the size of this place fool you! Our experience was DIVINE! We stopped on our way to Key West and had a blast trying all their gins, rums, and bourbons (a total of 7). We especially loved their single barrel rum and bought a bottle (~$50). The bartender was amiable and knowledgeable of the product and kept us entertained. The rest of the place consists of a bar and some shopping. Overall, I highly recommend stopping here to or from the Keys!

Cristina R.

Yelp
a very welcoming space! the experience was so fun... This place is a good place to bring a few friends for a little snack, some fun, and some drinkies.!

Jeff A.

Yelp
Perfect and inviting place for a few drinks. The bartenders were very friendly. The "no wake zone" beer is a very unique drink. I'm not a coconut flavored person but it was good. Key lime frozen drink is also very good. Did not try food truck.

Holly F.

Yelp
Great service and friendly staff. Loved the distillery tour. My favorite is the coconut key lime ale "No Wake Zone". Recommend for a stop sure!

Paige V.

Yelp
This brewery and distillery has a lot to offer. I tried several beers and cocktails which were all good. They serve flights were you can mix and match beers and cocktails. That was a first for me. I had the gin kombucha and the key lime pie cocktail along with a couple of beers. The outdoor space is roomy with several games and the indoor space has many card games and board games. it's dog friendly too. i recommend a flight that includes the frozen key lime pie cocktail.

Michelle M.

Yelp
I got the flight of cocktails and they were all DELICIOUS. The food truck was also yummy. It's a fun stop, with a great gift shop. If we were going to be in the area longer we would have grabbed a bag of one of the cocktails to go!
