So I went to an event where the restaurant hosted it and fed the guests. It was unfortunately a memorial service. the servers brought out plates for the guests and I was excited to taste the food as I had not been there before and I love Caribbean food. well I sat down with a couple of other guests to begin eating I put a fork full of rice in my mouth and bit down, to my gross astonishment was a whole top of a glass bottle broken. I must have gasped when I removed t and showed to the people sitting with me. They advised I find the owner who must have already gone, so I went to who might have been the manager and showed him the broken bottle spout I removed from my mouth, his response was sorry, can I get you another plate? I said absolutely not! What he should have done was be concerned that I was okay and the other guests as well and took back all the plates for fear there may be glass throughout the other servings. It was disgusting and when I think about how that BROKEN BOTTLE SPOUT ended up in my plate, I cringe. Was it swept off the floor, did a pot of rice fall on the floor. I'm nauseas thinking about it. All I know is I could have died, cut my throat, mouth, tongue. GOD had my back as usual. It's safe to say I won't be back! you all be safe out there!!! One star is to many!!!
