If you've not been, here's what you need to know: This is adjacent to Seabreeze Marina. Parking is in the lot on the other side of the dry stack, but you could turn at the Seabreeze propellers and drive down to drop off those who can't do the walk so well.
Second, don't be afraid to eat out on the boardwalk, although sunny, the breeze out there can make it more comfortable than on the shaded porch. Order inside and they'll give you a pager. When it goes off you go back inside and get your food at the pickup window.
Wear whatever, it's a mix of boaters, fishermen and landlubbers seeking a tasty meal with a pretty marina view. Bonus is the Ravenel bridge in the background and the USS Yorktown in the distance. In the relatively small "ships store" you can pick up the drinks, snacks, hats, sun shirts, sun screen etc that you forgot to bring. Or pick up a cool T-shirt, hat, tumbler, souvenir.
